Dragon's Place in Sharjah

We went here to have some light dinner on our second night in Ajman. We were staying in a different property and just decided to head out to try a different place for dinner.This place is inside The Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel (1st floor). They serve Thai and Japanese dishes. I did not get to research if they have a dress code but we’re glad they allowed us to dine in even if we were in flip flops and dress.We had 2 different kinds of steamed dimsums: prawn and veg. We also ordered california maki roll which tasted okay.Their pan fried tofu with soy sauce was tasty!I thought they were understaffed as there was only one server and another at the sushi counter one who but I noticed it wasn’t a busy night after all. We were the only ones who were there at the time we visited.Overall, it was an okay experience.

Why does it say it’s open everyday if it doesn’t open on sundays? Even on the hotel lobby there’s a poster mentioning all you can eat sushi EVERYDAY. Disappointing.

Above decent sushi and sashimi in Ajman! The 40% off zomato pro made it all worthwhile.The salmon sashimi was amazing that day. Firm yet silky texture and very fresh.Service was good. Friendly and efficient. Rather quiet on the weekday evening.

Falsely advertised Entertainer discount option. Below impressive management particularly in dealing with client situations. We were served by a gorgeous attendant Melynde who was very kind and offered us top notch service, However we had a horrendous time dealing with the hotel manager Teddy.We were lured to the hotel by the promise of the entertainer voucher which we were assured of when we got there and when we booked, Upon paying there was no entertainer voucher in sight. In short, the place has been pulled off from entertainer 2021 but management ,Mr Teddy insists it is there and they will tell you, you are lying if you claim there is no voucher being shown on the app.In terms of quality and food. Pretty standard at most, we had Kung Pao chicken and Pad Thai which was decent, however really small portions.

The curious case of Melynde and Tedy.We made a reservation and confirmed that we would be using Entertainer. We got in the restaurant and we were greeted by the wonderful Melynde and reconfirmed our intentions with Entertainer voucher, she took care of us and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. After some good food and talk we asked Melynde for the bill and opened the Entertainer app and found the Restaurant was no longer there as a merchant. This was baffling as we checked beforehand and they were a merchant on the app and we had the main course option. We showed this to Melynde who was dumbfounded as well. She was at a loss for words but very courteous. She called in the manager Tedy, and from there our experience went down hill. Tedy was condescending, and repeatedly hinted that we had not paid for the 2021 Entertainer, hence why their restaurant was not showing up. Melynde has the Entertainer app as well and she confirmed beforehand that the restaurant was not showing on her mobile as well. We explained this to Tedy, which he declined to review and was adamant that we did not pay for 2021. I even asked him to check Melyndes mobile as she had the app too, to check for the restaurant and if the restaurant was there, we would be in the wrong, pay our bill and leave. He declined this option and insisted that we did not pay for Entertainer 2021 and we should pay the full bill immediately. At this point I was losing my patience and asked him to explain how Entertainer actually works, and honestly, he had no clue. How was he managing this place with no clue how subscription based services worked or Entertainer which is a staple at this point. Melynde should be the manager because she clearly knew better. She tried to explain but clearly he had an agenda and probably misogynistic ideals as he didnt give her a second.I asked for someone else to speak to as he was accusing us even though his restaurant was the one falsely advertising Entertainer voucher options. He left and did not return, Melynde stayed behind and honored the Entertainer discount.This all took place over 1hr 30minutes. I have attached some images below that clearly show they are no longer an Entertainer merchant and proof from Entertainer customer service as well. Please dont be fooled and make sure they are a merchant on the app before you dine.

I have been twice with my family. The ambiance is amazing, the staff are polite and joyful. We loved the food, we order sushi, nasi Goren and pad Thai, everything was delicious.

We came here to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant exceeded our expectations. Our table was very nice decorated, the service was perfect and I was presented with a birthday cake.Thank you for so nice time at your place.

The service was excellent, Ms Haina took care of us and her hospitality is exemplar. The restaurant gave us appetizers and welcome drinks before the meal. The food was flavorful. Best sushi in Ajman, visited on Wednesday for their sushi night, starts with crackers , then soup , salad, Sushi, Sashimi and Nigiri’s . nice atmosphere lovely indoors and outdoors seating,

I love the sushi and Sashimi plus the good services provided by the staff specially to Haina and the Chef. Definitely will comeback 👍 im sushi lover!

The Dragons Place was an amazing experience I had in Ajman, certainly the best. Me and my ucle, aunt and cousin were thoroughly impressed by the heartwarming reception. My cousin was turning 2 the following month, but the waitresses Melynde, Heina, Dipika chef Kim made her a birthday cake anyway! It was a nice surprise! We are very thankful for the gift and the time we spent there. Very good place to go when in Ajman, nice location and close to the Ajman museum. Definitely worth a try!

Food was amazing and affordable staff are so kind and helpful and located at the first floor inside the hotel.

Мы туда не попали. По простой причине - они не потрудились отметить на картах Гугла, в TripAdvisor и других местах, что ресторан не работает целый месяц в Рамадан. Не знаю какое качество еды, но сервис и отношение к клиентам отвратительное

Dragons Place is located on the first floor of Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel. They also have private rooms available. The atmosphere was clean, pleasant and quiet. The tom yam soup and the stir fried chicken I had was very nice. The staff were very courteous, nice and attentive, especially Melynde and Regine. The chef was very friendly. Must try.

Stayed at the Bahi Ajman hotel and found this amazing restaurant within the complex. This was an amazing find, the food was divine, the service way and beyond what I would classify as excellent. Overall a truly fantastic restaurant!

Hidden away gem at Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel. Must visit if you like Japanese, Thai or Chinese food. Must try the Waghyu steak
