A craft beer pub focused on both draft and bottled varieties and burgers with names like 'The Poke'.
Took 62 minutes to get fish and chips and a salad at 1:30 in the afternoon. Then the salad was delivered without the chicken ordered as an extra. Awful. Never kept us informed of any delay. At 35 minutes I asked where was the food and was told another 20 minutes. I’d have left but we waited so long we would start over at another pub. Avoid this place!
Amazing location, great decor, and friendly staff. Sadly the mash potato with my meal seemed to be made from powdered potato, and I dont think enough water was added so it was still powdery on the inside and it was a bit unappetising/inedible. The chicken and mushroom pie was nice though. The loos were nice and clean, too.
Great little pub with delicious deserts but allase too few staff to cover all the trade, that day. She ran her feet off.
Table booked for 2000 and we were sat down straight away. Took over an hour for our food to come out. We sent the Parmesan fries back as they were stone cold. They came back hot but had clearly been put in the microwave as the bowl was redhot. We didn’t even eat them as they were inedible at this point…Our regular side of wings were tepidly warm but the burger was great and hot.Toilets were disgusting and no soap available. Two bank cards were stolen out my pocket and when I told the staff behind the bar, they were not interested. Our server was great and very apologetic about the food.I go to brewdog quite a lot and I love the company but I will not go to this venue again. Not to the standard of a premium brand.
Great selection of craft beer. Fun atmosphere. Lovely staff!
Tower Bridge Arms is the Russell Brand/Amy Shumer of pubs -- front and center, remarkably unremarkable, and avoided by most people. The pub boasts an average beer selection and a lackluster bar menu, undoubtedly relying on its central location for business over quality of experience.Had an especially negative experience with a recently promoted, bright eye [linered], bushy tailed bar manager who refused to service a 26 year old colleague who could only provide photo documentation of her passport, instead of a physical copy.Do yourself a favor and get your pint somewhere else.
Great bar with lovely staff. You can try some things if you are not sure what you want. Would definitely come around again.
Very friendly and excellent food. My dog was treated like a queen. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely come back again. Thank you - a great find.
A warm welcome with a nice menu and good selection of drinks. Toilets could do with a refurb buy overall, a nice little venue in the heart of London
Excellent place. Great food and lovely beer/cider. Great view too. Get there early-ish as it gets busy very quickly. Will be back. Fab place to spend an hour or two whilst ejoying a day away from work.
Now owned by Brewdog so heavily focused on their range. 3 stars for at least offerring a few guest beers. When you come to pay a screen comes suggests you tip the bar staff but at almost £10 a pint for their own Elvis Juice one might suggest the urine might be getting extracted already
Good atmosphere, friendly staff and being a Brewdog pub a great selection off beers. Well worth a visit
This is a cool pub with a relaxing atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks (for central London). The deco is great its retro, but with a modern twist. Also the food looked good as well. I highly recommend dinking/visiting this pub.
A good place if youre up for a decent beer. A broad choice of options, both traditional styles and modern ones. There are some typical pub grub options too, although nothing fancy. It wasnt overly crowded when I visited (Saturday late afternoon). Thanks to that, it was as loud as pubs sometimes get, which I appreciate.
Lots of drinks to choose from and good vegan/veggie options for food. Food quality is just OK. There is a small selection of board games which is nice. However, no accessible toilets. Indoor seating area in the evening is very dark and can get very stuffy. Outdoor seating/smoking area is just the pathway of a busy road.
Food was OK, Service very slow, we ask 2 Times to get a too sweet mojito.
Place seemed nice enough. Only one visible person on duty. Should have been a warning sign. Ordered food online. Diet coke arrived, not filled to the top and most of glass was ice. Not happy about that. Food order took forever. We asked twice. He kept saying another 5 minutes. Eventually one meal arrived. Person ate it before the balance were served. Waited just short of an hour for food. Pub wasnt busy... wont be back
A fantastic pub with a friendly staff. The food is great and the selection of beer is wide.
Nice bar, easy atmosphere, good food and choice of beer & cider
I had the Sunday roast, which was flavorful, but tough. My wife had a burger, whichvwas very good. Prices were higher than the Pommelers Rest a block down, but still reasonable for the location.
This is a really nice pub with a large selection of beer, and they offer flights so you can try a few. We also each ordered the fish and chips which was delicious. Staff were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere. They even had free feminine products available in the womens bathroom. Stop in for a pint or two and a bite!
Lovely bar in a great location. Bought over by brewdog, so good beer selection and food menu. The day team that were on when we popped in were very helpful and informative. Highly recommended
Wasnt bad but plenty of drug addicts come to your table outside and in! Was like the bar staff knew one of them was cracking jokes at the bar whilst he served him water! He must have been thirsty after asking the customers for money! Not something Id accept if I was running the place but hey we all different! Otherwise is ok good location a bar is a bar
Updated: still have the excellent staff and beer, but disappointing food. I ordered scampi bites that took 27 minutes to arrive and were over cooked and dripping oil. Not what I expect from a brewdog pub.First time here since brew dog took over. It seems really good, friendly staff and excellent beer. No food available but will return to try.
Ignore those stock photos this pub uses and look customers’. Staff hope patrons are too inebriated to notice a salad bowl with dried baguette slices instead of sourdough, filled with red onions rather than coriander and lime
We ordered food and drinks from a table using the QR code. The place was half empty, with only one other couple in the back section with us. While putting in an order, a man, either an employee or friend of one, sat at the booth between the two couples and began nearly shouting at the woman working behind the bar. That went on for several minutes. Finally got an email telling me my order had been rejected because they were TOO BUSY (they wrote it in all caps). Thats it, no other explanation. In a half empty pub at 3 in the afternoon.Im never going to another Brewdog pub.
The worst pub which I ever went. Visited on 15th April evening. I know they having online order facility but please try to mind the customer as I was new to this pub. They are not ready to clean or tidy up the table for a new customer to sit even if we requested twice also. Kitchen closing @ very early so no foods also… Fed up with everything and hence ordered a hot latte cofee and got cold milked Americano coffee and said that coffee machine is under service. At least they have to tell that before collecting the payment.
No beer on tap, technical problem. Chicken burger overcooked and a bit dry, sweet potato fries very average.Disappointingly overpriced for a tin of beer with a frozen meal.
I went there with my sister for lunch. We ordered Sunday roast with beef. The plate arrived cold. The meat wasnt good at all. My sisters was hard, while mine was only the fat of the beef. The vegetables were okay, but some of them hard too. Potatoes were cold too.The service was not friendly at all.I dont recommend it.
Downgrading from a five star review a few years ago to two. Gone downhill since becoming part of Brewdog. Used to be a lovely little pub. Staff now seem completely disinterested and are sat behind the bar on their phones whilst queues form (on a Sunday so very few patrons). Better venues close by.
We went for Sunday roast. Good bar man, friendly and welcoming. Very disappointing Sunday lunch. The flattest Yorkshire puddings I have ever seen, string left on the pork, over cooked beef, and all of the four meals were barely warm. They sent out fresh gravy but it didn’t make up for the cold food.
I visited it last weekend. Thats now my favourite pub in that area! Awesome beer selection, three different stouts on tap (not Guinness)! Very chill and cosy, comfy leather seats, good service! Ill be back soon.
Stopped at Tower Arms pub after a walk, which we have found the pub to be clean and airy, with a friendly service. Downfall it was the lack of no toilet paper.
My burger was really good when I finally got it - an hour + after ordering. 1st order ‘declined’ (via email!?!as the kitchen was ‘TOO BUSY’. Thought they’d be trying to make up for the much whinged about lean times - not be rejecting orders when the pub wasn’t even full lol. Great beer selection!!
Been here twice on my most recent trip to London. Food is pretty damn good for pub fare, the Sunday roast was super tasty. Staff is very attentive and super friendly.
Loved it. If you like Brewdog you will like this. Excellent selection of beers and really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Happy to give you tasters of all the special beers and didnt charge us when someone ordered a beer they didnt like, simply advised what might be nice and made the switch. Burgers were good too. 👍🏼
Lovely Sunday roast, cold craft beer, outstanding service and great atmosphere. Lovely assortment choice roast beef, chicken or pork. Matching sauces all with yorkers, roasted potatoes, roasted carrots, roasted parsnips and lashing of Gravy in a jug so you choose how much and where on the plate to put it! Lovely choice of music but at a non intrusive level. All in all a great place!
Great Sunday roast and beers. Tender beef, good vegetables and roasties, and of course plenty of good pints. The gravy could have been a bit better (it was very thick), but it tasted good.
Delicious pies, good selection of beers on tap and nice local atmosphere. If you are in the mood for delicious food you wont be disappointed by the Chicken, Leek and Ham Hock pie. Its delicious and melts in your mouth! Highly recommend!
Really great place to stop after visiting Tower of London and Tower Bridge. If you are in the area on Sunday, they have a great Sunday Dinner. You definitely won’t leave hungry!!
Walked pass and stopped to grab lunch. It was packed, we got burgers and fish and chips. The burger was good, the fish was not so good. Service was good, prices were pretty good too. Also my first time trying Scottish egg, it was very good. But the best thing I had was the pomegranate mojito. It was amazing never had that before. But it was delicious. The down side on this place was the restroom/toilet was not clean. Their was no toilet paper either.
Craft beers, and afterwork. Good choice of crafts. There is a room (and a bardownstairs too, so a lot of space in this venue. Can be very crowdy, and noisy ; as an English pub can be I assume. Good ambiance.
Always a great selection of beers.. Paddles to taste more beers. Bar staff are quick and friendly. Shows sport on major events. Nice area downstairs for private hire. Great collab beers
Nice pub to have a drink and a bit in the centre of London. You are a stone-throw away from the Tower Bridge, but the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. Good selection of craft beers, but a wee bit pricy.
Annoying form to fill in to get wifi, why do they need my personal data? £6 for a pint they didnt fill properly! Literally left about £1 worth of head. Later pints were pulled fully. Having said all this there is a great choice of beers and decent enough pub food and the staff were helpful and friendly and good to see the place is a "real living wage employer".
Great pub. Comfortable and with friendly service. Lots of different beers and ciders but probably less than what they used to keep previously. Tasty burgers with a menu that is mostly that type of rich junk food items. Drinks are a bit expensive hence only 4 stars. I get it that its craft beers but £6.50 for a pint is expensive in my view. Other than that its a great pub.
Great pub near the Tower Bridge. It has a great variety of tap beers and some ciders for an affordable price. As a meal I recommend fish and chips with curry mayo.Delicious!
The assortment of beers here speaks for the name of this establishment! Everyone will find something to their liking here and there plenty of space both on the ground floor and in their basement bar. The only food we’ve tried here was chicken wings, which weren’t bat at all and paired nicely with our ales. Good place to have a pint or two. Have been here several times already, would recommend and would be coming back.
Amazing selection of beers, so far probably the best in London! Really enjoy my time there each time I visit. Good is also great, of you go there, make sure you try the Poke burger 👍
Being located this close to the Tower Bridge I expected this to be a generic tourist trap pub. But it turned out to be quite the opposite!!A great kitchen that offers some experimental dishes ranging from burgers over burritos to classic english food. Man... leave it to the english to top a hamburger with pulled pork. The food was great and they have plenty of beers from all over the place on draft. Get the CAMDEN HELLS.Heads up: the include tip in their prices. So no need for additional tipping.
