Downtown Fort Collins in Fort Collins
Description
Privilege
Cool area to walk around, nothing too crazy or busy but plenty of drinking, eating and shopping options
MoreLots of bars and restaurants with outdoor seating areas and easy to walk around and explore. Some nice pedestrian areas with statues and artworks and the whole downtown area is meticulously landscaped. They have a few public restrooms and the multi level car park was free of charge on the Sunday that we visited. Some nice stores also selling local crafts .
MoreWhat isnt there to do in this old town area? With haunted tours, Disney-inspired buildings, historic diners, artist lofts, campy boutiques, craft spots, craft brews, tea shops, wine shops, tattoo shops, naughty shops, sporting shops, and shops for people to show off their creative edge, a letterpress, an apothecary, and fun little restaurants (both tried and true staples, and newly inspired eats). There is no place that is perfect, but this place inspires me as well as many others all around. We are the home to a bike parade and many other festivities. I feel like the DBA never ceases to find events to draw our citizens in with a sense of pride and a chance to expand our culture. I hope this town continues to grow its roots and the people with it.
MoreAbsolutely love this part of town!! Fantastic local eating and shopping plus the holiday/seasonal festivities which are always a great time!!
MoreGreat area to walk around and shop. Parking on the streets on College Ave is rough, but there is plenty parking in areas off the main drag.
MoreVery nice downtown 👍🏻 feels safe and fun
Nicely kept walking space in downtown
Old Town Fort Collins is one of our favorite spots to visit. The atmosphere is always uplifting.
MoreNice place to visit
It was so much fun need and want to go back soon
Alot of shops. Fun experience. Plenty of food around. Store with the beautiful rock is one of my favorites.
MoreNice artistic downtown! Many shops, pubs, funny stores.. you can’t even visit everything. It’s so cute there and friendly. Parking situation not so nice.
MoreOPEN AFTER 4PM! You can literally walk right down there 24/7. This city has the best craft beer in entire USA, which you should drink a lot of to not die of boredom downtown. Understandable this is geared towards family fun and not the students at the local college.
MoreSuch a magical place, always something to see or do no matter what time of year it is.
MoreJust moved to Fort Collins and love it. Old Town Square is a beautiful place just to chill out in and has its own vibe. There is usually live music by a solo performer, chairs to lounge in and bars and eateries in all directions. If you visit FoCo be sure to stop by the square.
MoreCant give ZERO stars, unfortunately, to a horrible company that sells gift cards that devour themselves if you dont use them. A friend gave me a card for $75 but since I didnt use it right away it is worth $0.00. These cards are a rip off and anyone selling them is unscrupulous. They might as well steal your money outright instead of pretending to give you a "gift card" that whittles its balance away while you stupidly wait to use it. This should be illegal. Disgusting.
MoreBest winter’s Christmas experience!!
Cool place, lots to do. A lot of drunk people walk around nightly out here, so be careful if youre here at nighttime. Not a good place if you like crowds, but if you can handle them, you got a lot of nice places to spend some money.
MoreBeautiful and clean. Family fun and food!
Great place to walk around by yourself or with a family, tons of places to eat and tons of places to shop. 2 hour parking limits around and its also free parking.
MoreSuch a cool place to spend a day. There are so many shops and restaurants, you are guaranteed to find something youll love!
MoreMy wife and I enjoy going downtown knowing there is parking available. We go to the multilevel parking across from Coopersmiths. It is fun taking a stroll around the different shops. Thanks Downtown Fort Collins! ❤
MoreHad a great time in this unique area. Friendly people and beautiful flowers and sitting areas
MoreFun place to wander around. Many different types of eating establishments to choose from. The shops are fun and mostly co-ops so you can buy local! Staff in each store we visited was very friendly.
MoreThis place is awesome!! Clean streets, nice people, the parking is a little tight. Its a nice downtown college community with lots of great places to eat!! If your from Denver, this is a great place to get away and breathe!! Have fun Enjoy!!
MoreBeautiful and fun place to visit. Quite a variety of artsy shops. The closed road turned park is a lot of fun with a splash pad for the kids and a nice variety park accoutrements (fountain, shade trees and gazebo). Overall this is a fun place to check out. We loved the kitchen store, it has an amazing variety of anything and everything you might want for your kitchen. You might expect a place like this to be overpriced but they were very affordable (compared to Amazon).
MoreI love Old Town...so much to do in such a relaxed atmosphere, and the flowers this year are extra gorgeous!
MoreOld Town Fort Collins is an absolute gem! Wonderful restaurants, beautiful sculptures, and picturesque in the winter.
MoreI loved downtown Fort Collins. So cute, so lively, such a respite from Nebraska. 😛
MoreIm truly disappointed at this point. I was looking to spend around 1500 on gift cards for downtown, which Im guessing the businesses in old town would love. I cant get anyone to answer emails or the phone for that matter. Guess Old Town isnt hungry for business, kind of sad I believe in supporting local and this is the response I got.
MoreTook a nice stroll through the square. Well-kept and beautiful! The lights in the trees were a nice touch. Shops and restaurants around. A great time was had! I look forward to going back in the su.mer when it is a bit warmer!
MoreDowntown is great but the demographic has definitely changed over the years. Theyre trying to be more fancy but come on we got basic people here too! But dont get me wrong, theyre are some great shops and restaurants too.
MoreLively and lovely, with classic architecture and seasonal plants and colorful murals; and a variety of shops, from boutiques to groceries at Mountain Avenue Market, to hardware and home furnishings; to bars and restaurants; and the Museum of Art Fort Collins; downtown is almost always peopled with engaged and diverse pedestrians, some dining and drinking al fresco, and others just people-watching. Whats not to love?!?
MoreReally pretty little downtown area. Good restaurants and coffee shops
Cute little town. Lots of restaurants to eat at. I liked this town.
Fort Collins has a true "at-home" downtown feel that makes you never want to leave. One of my favorite places in CO.
MoreSuch a cute, beautiful down town. My husband, baby and I enjoyed walking around.
If you are in ft Collins then one must visit the downtown. You can find live open concerts & people from all age groups enjoying. I loved it !!
MoreLove the choices of womans clothing, two favorite restaurants to eat at; Austins and Next Door Eatery.... I enjoy stopping at The Welsh Rabbit Cheese Shop and right next door to that is a Yummy chocolate truffles that also serves coffee. I sometimes take my dogs with me so they can enjoy the walk downtown.
MoreThere is always a lot to do here with a fun, vibrant and family friendly atmosphere. A wide variety of food mixed with cute boutiques, coffee shops, small businesses that make you want to support them & activities that are always a joy. Take the time to stroll up and down the streets to enjoy the sights, smells, tastes and the kind people who are there.
MoreGreat town 25 micro brews great tours at new Belgium and odells
Beautiful and full of life 💃🏻 so many options for food, a casual drink or a great cup of coffee ☕️
MoreGorgeous town square with lots of interesting and fun shopping and dining. Friendly doesnt even begin to describe. Very pet friendly also! Blind Pig allows dogs on the patio. Coppersmith Brewing will let you sit there with your dog as long as the dog is outside the patio rail. Odell Brewery has a massive outdoor patio where pooches are most welcome!
MoreFort Collins is such a walk-able town, and Old Town is part of the ease. Old Town Square has had the same charm to it since the first day I visited Fort Collins when I was a child. Its in the heart of the town, and holds so much character. There are tasty restaurants surrounding the area, as well as Cooper Smith Brewery, and some bars.
MorePlace is really good. Great shopping, great sight seeing, great food (Ben & Jerrys was REALLY good, workers there were amazing. Very very knowledgeable). Overall a good place. Cant give it 5 stars though because theres literally 0 parking anywhere. We went so early and it still was so bad. Parking garages are available at moderate rates, always spaces though so its kinda pick your poison. Great place to have fun.
MoreGreat place lot of friendly people will organize maintain. You would not have to worry about things going wrong there was plenty of law enforcement in the area making sure everything ran smoothly and I appreciate that. I highly recommend that you go to downtown or Old Town Fort Collins and enjoy the evening and everything that it has to offer
MoreLots of places to explore and shop. So many restaurants and bars. This is a good area to walk around. Fairly dog-friendly. Not really sure which places allow/ dont allow dogs though. The city is known for being extremely dog-friendly but there really werent enough signs to let us know.
MoreI enjoy the diversity of the stores, restaurants, and entertainment venues. The architecture and presence of public art and sculpture create a welcoming and involved feel to the entire downtown space. The frequency of live preformances both on the street and in the business establishments creates a diverse and artistically inspiring experience.Weekends are especially good for strolling and immersing ones self in the culture of Fort Collins.
MoreDowntown Fort Collins is always one of our favorite outings either with our kids or with adults. Sometimes it feels a little unsafe with a lot of transient people. It is really pretty though during the winter time and a great place to do lots of things. Fun places to eat and drink. Parking is hard to find especially during Prime times and you usually will have to pay for parking.
MoreSo much fun!!! Great to walk around, could spend hours!! Well, did spend hours 😹❤️👍🏻
