Downtown Diner - Diner in Titusville, United States
If I could give more stars , I would. Everything is wonderful. Home cooking at its best. Staff is great, too.
Friendly service, comfortable rustic furnishings. Breakfast or lunch all day. Interesting “special”sides like fried green tomatoes. The Reuben is excellent as are the fries. Definitely deserves all the top reviews. One of the best local restaurants in Titusville. National chains don’t stand up. I hope to visit again in the future. Bonus SpaceX launch on our visit.
Quaint Americana diner. Excellent service and good food. Pancakes were fluffy and tasty. Great coffee. If you are in the area its worth a try.
Been wanting to go for a while. Only open breakfast and lunch. Its so cozy, waiters are so nice and friendly. Food was more than we could eat. Now its my fave!
Great dinner, service and food! I had the blueberry pancake breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon, and I enjoyed every bite.
Great breakfast, cant beat the price! You definitely get a full plate. I think I found a good Sunday morning breakfast joint! See you again soon.
Friendly Service, taste of home great food, hash browns, that arent air fryer looking ( those little dry squares, but made country old school right. We went with Omelettes several choices of cheese. Bacon was perfect.
The food arrived quickly and you will definitely get a full meal. Place is cozy and staff is friendly. Parking was the only issue
I bought a place in Titusville last December and finally found this restaurant this morning. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! My BF and mom ordered omelets off the menu and I had a Monte Christo off the specials board. It wasn’t a traditional Cristo (I knew ahead of time it was between French toastbut OMG the jam syrup mix for dipping was amazing and the the sandwich itself was too notch. Previous reviews about how good it was did not disappoint. Food ordered Monte Cristo, Veggie And Spaniard Omelet.
Excellent food, staff, everything!! Best salads ever!
The blueberry pancakes were perfection! Highly recommend this place to anyone local or visiting. Fast friendly service and cooked to order food.
Breakfast was awesome and our waitress was on top of things! Great little diner!!
Very good food, affordable prices and great customer Service!!!Definitely try it out!!!
Downtown diner Titusville was really good! The place is family owned, the food was great and the atmosphere was nice. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. They have a huge chalk board on the back wall with the daily specials. My fiancé got one of the specials: southern eggs Benedict with fried chicken sausage gravy with grits. It was so good, I went with the classic breakfast. You can never go wrong with eggs bacon/ sausage and hash browns. The food was fresh and hot. I will be back for sure.
Great service! Lovely portions!
Simple and delicious. I had the eggs Benedict and it was good. I understand there can be a long wait on weekends but we got right in on a Saturday morning.
Waitress was friendly and offered good recommendations. Food was so yummy! Definitely will be back when Im in town!
Great place love the Atmosphere food and people working there everyone seems super nice definitely coming back.
Place looked closed as we pulled up. Glad it wasn’t though. Great service, very friendly staff and amazing breakfast. Highly recommended.
Great food and excellent service! Huge portions. Best breakfast 😋
Visited on a Sunday mid-morning, kind of busy, with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and strong community. The food was unbelievably good, and very reasonably priced. Great representation of the local culture here in Titusville.
This was the worst breakfast food Ive ever had. Breakfast is hard to screw up but somehow they did it. The French toast was AWFUL in every way possible. The wrong bread the batter was wrong it was just awful. The biscuits and gravy had no flavor it tasted like raw flour. They didnt use sausage in the gravy as well I can only assume it was ham because it was pink. Breakfast was so bad my 4 year old didnt even eat a chocolate pancake. She tried to pick the chocolate chips out with little success. The only thing good about this place was the staff was nice and friendly. They were quick to seat us and professional overall. I think locals enjoy this place and this May be acceptable for them but if youve traveled or been around... hell even chain restaurants like Bob Evans have better food than this. Ill say it again my 4 year old didnt eat chocolate pancakes.
Great food and service! Clearly a hometown favorite!
Quaint and small place. Food was good but I believe sever was probably new and learn. Other than that was good
Vinegar in mashed potatoes is a NO-GO. The chicken fried steak was great. The mac and cheese was good but cannot get over how bad the mashed potatoes were.
Lived in and around Titusville for almost 20 years. Passed by this place so many times. Cant believe it took so long for me to try it. Both me and my son loved the food.
The food and service were great. They out a LOT food on your plate! We usually go for breakfast or lunch and have never had a bad experience.
This place is redecorated an updated recently. It is cute inside and the bathroom was very nice and clean. I would like it if they have real maple syrup. And also I felt very warm into the point of sweating a little bit so a cooler temperature indoors, which may be hard in July in Florida.
I have made many reviews about this wonderful place. No matter what time of day you go or which day they always impress and deliver the best
Great place for breakfast. Had country ham (delicious), scrambled eggs and "go withs". Friendly staff. Come hungry!
Best burger in town! Friendly service quality food. If you have not visited Downtown dinner you are missing a awesome experience!
Awesome, good service and we all had the all day breakfast. Everything was great and tasted good. I had two eggs scrambled, two sausage patties, a fruit bowl and because they did not have home fries, hash browns or grits. They offered any other side. I had onions rings and they were delicious. This is a place you need to visit and have a good sit down meal
When you hear the word diner, this is the place you should imagine. Yes, its greasy, but the grease is fresh. The burgers are enormous. Breakfast served all day. And specialties speak to their homestyle approach to a great greasy spoon: fried catfish, meatloaf, all you can eat pancakes, fried okra, super Mac and cheese, and even vegan meat substitutes.
Went there for coffee only. Coffee was good and service was fast and attentive. Ordered a croissant which arrived warmed.
Good food at a good price with friendly service. There is a nice variety of options, breakfast items are served all day, homey atmosphere and clean bathrooms. The liver and onions was a big hit with my father-in-law 😁
Catfish, hashbrowns with peppers and onions, English muffin and coffee. Mmm-mmm good!
Great food and excellent service! Came here after being recommended by the owners of local B&B. It was so good to find a home cooked meal! Two dinners (fried chicken, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheesea piece of red velvet cake and 2 iced teas was under $45! I should warn you, the Mac n cheese has a jalapeño taste to it. Not horribly spicy, but young children or older people may not like it.
Went for breakfast with my 86 year old mother. We waited in line a long time, which we expected. Then I notice that people had left and tables were promptly cleared but the young girl ignored the empty tables as we stood there. She kept waiting on those checking out and on to-go orders. A take-out order was messed up so she went to deal with that leaving my mother and my husband and I and a group in front of us standing. Finally more staff came over to help out and one said “should I seat some people?” I said ( in a nice tone“yes, that would be nice.” The girl turned to me and said “I’m doing the best I can, we’re busy.” I said ( again, nicely“yes, I understand but maybe more balance between the check-out & take-outs and the seating folks.” At which points she storms off to the owner and the other woman seats us. At this point Mom is moving very slow. Then the owner comes over to our table and loudly rants to me about how rudely I treated his daughter, that he runs the business to give his kids a place to work and I can leave for all he cares. I tried to explain and he kept ranting so we left. Never been treated so poorly in my life. My mother was so upset. Never will return. Not oriented to the customer, a place for sensitive children to work without getting canned for ineptitude! We were the only ones(including staffwearing masks which may have been a factor!
It has a fun atmosphere and good portions. They were really busy on a Saturday morning. My wifes food was not quite as ordered but we never allowed them an opportunity to correct it so that is on us. Smoked sausage and eggs were excellent!
The staff is super nice. Very busy. Food is ok. Ham and sausage is really salty.
Cyclists, anyone who wants a legitimate meal for a good price and great service, this is it!This is right off the East Coast Greenway by a block. Well worth the diversion and look at the pics to tell you more.
First visit on a Saturday and returned that Sunday. Excellent service, portions are nice, the coffee is very good (better than any restaurant), the wait line moved briskly. Dont be frightened off by the line out the door.I had the sausages: smoked then gator, both flavorful. The Home Fries were cooked to order (as everything isand a large portion. Grits cooked just right. One thing of note is that their HVAC, especially the ventilation, is outstanding. My clothes didnt smell like a grill and fryer.
Very nice diner! I expected something run down, but it was clean. The staff is friendly and the food is good! The bathrooms were even clean! The only downfall is limited parking and when someone parks their truck with a boat attached to it across 5 parking spots, you have to park somewhere else and hope you don’t get towed.
Very nice diner. Seems like a local favorite. Very affordable prices! Food is good, portions are big! 🍳Oh, and it’s only a 5 min. walk from the nearest (freeEV Charger! 🔋
Visit Date & Time: Sunday, Jan 17th 11:15amMy husband and I decided to try Downtown Diner for breakfast. The parking lot was full and being logical people we realized there would be a wait. Generally speaking, we are fine when there is activity in an establishment..its when its void of patrons we have more concern. Quite surprisingly, the wait was minimal, approx 10min. We were sat at a booth that the server very graciously made sure she wiped down as we sat. Dont panic people, it wasnt gross, they just wanted to make sure it was wiped down well. The kind yet efficient server asked our drink order and returned quickly with exactly as we ordered. Being two people, it isnt hard to remember but youd be surprised how much we have to repeat ourselves at other places. Coffee came to the booth in a refreshingly larger than average cup and hot. Yes, I said they served hot coffee. Also, refreshing. Coffemate original creamer, looked like they may have had flavored ones as well. Ordered chocolate chip pancakes and it came with eggs, bread and meat side. Potion sizes are very fair. Food was warm, cheese was melted in eggs as ordered. Now the pancakes, they are the only pancakes Ive ever received out that make them with the choclate chips in the cakes. SUCCESS! My hub had the Spinard omelet with French toast. The butter melted on the French toast and hub said its some of the best he has had. Yes my hub said cooking other than mine was good, no the best and Im not offended. Total bill with 20% tip was $28.03. 4 star review, we will be back.
Delicious! Even their coffee speaks to my soul! I was also excited at the fact that they offer acai bowls!!
Really inviting and welcoming staff. Easy to read menu with many great choices. Foot was great as was the service. Was with a large party and everybody enjoyed their food choice. Would highly recommend this place to anybody that visits Titusville Florida. Would return if I am ever back in this city.
Once in awhile you get shown the light. In the strangest of places if you look at it right. This is the "Bomb Diggity" of Diners.I love this place and Im getting goosebumps thinkin bout it.I betcha, your gonna like it here too.Kathryn is the best waitress in Titusville.Thats right, ALL of Titusville.Only OPEN til 2 though. So "Come On In" andEnjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy.
The food is delicious, the service is very professional, the customers are satisfied, and one customer said that I was her soal diner.the atmosphere is relaxing, you will be taken care of.I will guarantee anyone who eats at that establishment will returned with friends! Enjoy this experience folks!
Food was great and so was the service. Place was busy and yet still timely in getting the food out.
