DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Portland - Beaverton in Portland

The only good thing is the location. The hotel looks like it was converted from a Days Inn into a DoubleTree, it needs a renovation and upgrades to meet the basic Hilton standard most people would expect. Its understaffed so dont expect to get housekeeping.

The kitchen was broken and we were not informed until we got there, at 11 pm to check. We were confused and that is when they told us there was no continental breakfast. I checked out SUN and realized on MON that I perhaps left my phone charger in my room. I called MON afternoon and they informed me that they would talk to someone and get back to me. I left my number, my name, and a description of my charger. No call back, so I called around 6 pm on TUE to ask. I was told that a charger was indeed left in the room and they would try to track it down for me. Left my name, number, and description of my charger as well. No call back yet again so I called ANOTHER time around 6 pm on WED. They told me yet again there was a note saying my charger was left but they could not retrieve it and had to wait for the head housekeeper. Left all my info again + my email. Finally got a call at 10:30 PM and was informed that it was all misread and they actually never had my charger. Lady who I spoke to was not apologetic at all and was unbelievably rude when all I wanted was my $60 charger.

Rooms are standard rooms, fitness center is extremely basic(frustratingly common with hotels, but this was one of the most basic). My issue is the "breakfast". I put it in quotes because the breakfast offered is ridiculous. I got the oatmeal breakfast. Cost: $9. Whats in it: a cup of oatmeal(that you heat with water), a tiny yogurt(that tasted and felt chalky), the smallest apple I have ever seen(smaller than my palmand a tiny muffin(smaller even than the apple).

Great customer service!! I had to stay over and utilized their amenities! The front desk staff was great and helpful!! Rooms clean and beds so comfortable!!!

Tried to find a phone number to call directly and kept get third party. Booked room through third party and when checking in asked if thet gave discount for veterans said no because we used third party to book room. They show a nice buffet breakfast that doesnt exist but wait they have a to go breakfast for $7.99 extra. When I asked guests services the lady said its stated on the internet. Oh went back to look and its buried in small print no where near the beautiful picture of the buffet of course. So disappointing because it was last minute due to a death in the family and the customer service there was poor.

I had the worst experience with my stay at this hotel, I got charged twice. When I called to get it straightened out they told me I would have my money back in my account the next day, which didn’t happen and they failed to say it would take a couple days for it to reflect on my account. When I called back to ask about it I requested to speak to a supervisor or manager and the lady I spoke to was super rude and would speak over me. I requested to speak to somebody else above her and was told there is nobody else I am the highest person you are going to speak to. I asked her to give me the name and number to speak to the hotel manager which she did and when I called I got her voicemail, I asked she please give me a call back and instead just got an email, not even a call to apologize. Very poorly handled situation.

Rooms were awesome, the only reasons I give this 3 stars is the rooms themselves. Staff is rude and annoyed to be at work, the "free" breakfast is a microwaved Jimmy Dean sandwich that actually costs you $9. For once McDonalds is the classier and cheaper option.

Poor service. Requested house keeping two days in a row, each time they said they would put us on the schedule, on the third day the employee told us it was only for those staying 4 nights or more. Toilet was loose from the floor. Bathtub bottom was gross and discolored. Pull out sofa bed was horrible and completely unusable!!! Nothing but springs and bars. Wife got glass in foot in pool. Site promises breakfast buffet and all they had was brown bags. Avoid this place!!!

This DoubleTree 100% misses the mark for Hilton DoubleTree branding! Room not very clean, A/C didnt keep the room cool and after asking the front desk to check out the A/C they never came. I then found the filter very dirty and told them I had removed the filter and to see if they would come clean it and reassemble the A/C, and again nothing done. The dirty A/C filter packed with dirt and lint laid in the room floor. No "restaurant" as DoubleTrees should have. It does have frozen pizzas they can warm up it that is what you like. I personally hope to not have to stay there again.

I forgot to mention that I did ask for cleaning on day 3 but upon arrival at 6 pm, I had no toilet paper, no clean towel, room was not cleaned and garbage was piled up right where it had been. I think that is what tipped me to write the review. I received a "we are sorry about that, heres a roll of TP and some towels" I just cant. After spending full pay and getting partial service, why is that acceptable anymore?

Clean. Dated. Service is just getting through their clock hours C+ student style. Hot water and hot coffee canisters in lobby by 8:30 stood empty, no one in sight to check on them, or replace them. As I waiting in the lobby for my ride, saw dozens of disappointed guests squeezing air out of those machines. For shame.

The handicap room shower flooded the bathroom and the area outside of the bathroom. No one (housekeepingcleaned the room. At the end of the day, the room was damp and the floor full of wet towels used to absorb the water. When I complained at the front desk, I was told by a rude young man that the flood was my husbands fault and there was no one available to clean it up! When I became upset, he asked my age and said I should act my age and not get angry like a kid!!!!! My husband uses a wheelchair and has limited mobility, a flooded bathroom is a safety issue. I am very disappointed in the Beaverton Double Tree and its personnel. 5/6/22

Pros: Fair price Wonderful and friendly staff the rooms were clean and beds surprisingly comfortable.Cons: The bathroom fan was horribly loud and you have no option to turn the fan off.When the light is on the fan is on This was really annoying and disruptive.Building needs a little updatingId probably stay here again!

Quiet, looks nice. Not clean, not kept up. AC only kinda works, bathroom fan sounds and rattles like a jet engine falling apart, shower door doesnt close so you get the whole bathroom wet, etc

It is very clean and up to date. We had a shower with glass doors- no leakages. It had a large vanity with sink separate from toilet and shower. It had a 1/2 wall that separated the bed from the small living room and a wrap around desk ( plenty of counter).I would stay there again.We used points for our reservation since Hilton bought Diamond Resorts. A plus for us.
