Douaihy Sweets - Zalka SeaSide in Beirut

Very poor experience. No knowledge of customer care. Beggars show up at tables out of nowhere. Staff do not know head office number, or refuse to provide it, or they dont have one. Not recommended. Wouldnt visit again even if they were offering for free.

Worst experience ever, staff so rude. Beggars begging for money inside the store. Left the place called the shop the person that answered refused to give his name or the head office number.

We bought Arabic icream (ashtaits was below average and the price unjustified they are good in presentation but when it comes to taste its below average

I have received a box of sweets from a friend coming from Lebanon.I was very disappointed with the quality of the Product. They werent fresh at all, the taste and smell of the sweets seemed like they are expired. I checked the expiry date and it is still valid for 2 months. I feel like the sweets are expired and they just changed the sticker of the validity. I do not trust or recommend this place. This was not the first time I have tried Douaihy sweets, they are usually better than this.Edit:A staff member from Douaihy sweets followed up on the matter. She took my feedback seriously and was very apologetic.

We ordered knéfé for breakfast today, delivery wasnt fast but the knéfé is delicious. I prefer visiting the Branch and eat there but actually cant because of the corona virus and the sanitary measures.

If you cant decide between a cheese or a ashta knafeh order half an half! You wouldnt regret it!

Best Lebanese place to buy oriental sweets around the World! I had 2 kgs of Ba2lewa. The staff was good and friendly! He gave us free samples. And I also bought 1 kg of petit feour! Amazing taste of real Lebanese authentic sweets. They vacuumed the boxes for me cause i m traveling. You can enjoy their sweet inside the store as well as outside. Relatively expensive comparing to other similar sweet stores! But highly recommend this place.

The service is very good and the staff does a great job. I really like how they prepare a box for voyage ( they also give you a special bag). They have high quality and affordable products. Recommended!

A third choice quality everything

Clean, tasty and nice service. I like their Kunafa, they always have fresh ones. And I also like their ice cream. The staff is so helpful and nice. Parking lot is available at the front of the shop. Bathrooms are clean. Highly recommended.

The excellent place to end your night after a wild party. In fact Doueihy sweet are the best especially 7alewit el jiben. But after night and early morning the fresh baked croissant and the warm sa7lab and of course the fresh Knefeh: Yummiiiiii. You shouldnt miss it. Enjoyyyyuy.

Douaihy is one of the traditional sweet makers from the North of Lebanon. With his location its making its good stuff available to the good people of Metn. The location is very nice, aery and spacious. The staff is professional and helpful. The choose of sweets is diverse and they even have sfi7a. Good place to sweeten your soul.

From the moment yo walk through their door your head starts spinning, your mouth starts watering and your eyes just bulge out, as your nose starts absorbing all the tasty sweet smells that just hit you as soon as you get inside. My favorite Lebanese sweets shop.There are "some" items that Hallab does better (e.g. Ward el Sham & Mafrookit Fistobut in my opinion, their Baklavas are the best.

Probably the best knefe in the country. Its sugary but not too sweet and does not cause bloating.

We visited them on sunday to have a refreshments​, we ordered 4 ice creams and in two of them we found mosquito.The mosquito were found inside the scoop and in different flavors.We asked for manager and the reply was the manager is not present and will be available in an hour.They offered us something else but for sure I cannot trust them anymore.They took our mobile number, claiming that the manager will call us later and we left.2 days passed and no one called back.
