Delicious pizzas with lots of options. Kids servings were really generous and the low gluten bases were really tasty.Atmosphere was good and the serving staff were really helpful with dietary requirements.

Great pizza and good vibes, will come back again.

Very busy place but service was spot on. My choice of the chicken for main was delicious. My friends pizza was a little underdone.

Okay food, pasta was handmade but inconsistent, portions small, drinks took half an hour. Not bad but overall disappointing.

Went on a Saturday night and the place was completely full, yet the staff were on top of everything and the pizzas came hot and fast.Best pizza Ive had this side of the city.While I was reading the menu I couldnt help but think Ill have to come back because there was so many amazing options.Only downside was it was a little loud but they have placed their tables is a way you still feel pretty private.

Food 5 stars, full of flavour, authentic and great portion. We had the seafood pasta, Arancini and olives. Venue was beautiful, well set up, clean and we scored a great spot private by the fire. Staff were lovely, bubbly and polite. 4 stars due to having to wait a hour for mains, we got there 6:45 had to wave down someone to order by 7, then had to wave someone down to see where drinks were, no water offered etc. upon sitting, no one waiter dedicated to area it appeared, entree came out and then by 8pm I asked where mains were to which they then came out. Waitress apologies immensely and made comment she knew we had been waiting “a long time”. It felt like we had to wave staff down for everything included a second drink rather then being checked on regularly like other tables appeared to have. If we were regularly checked on we would have ordered more drinks, food and even a dessert if food hadn’t come out so late.I must say though, in the end the food was worth the wait and was delicious.I would go back.

It was my 60th birthday dinner with friends and I was very disappointed. We had to wait 1 1/2 hours for our meal. My pizza was burnt around the edges and on the bottom. The restaurant was very noisy and messy and smelt like the food was burning. For a high quality restaurant it lacked quality. The staff were nice and apologetic regarding the wait time for our food which we accepted and we were offered complimentary coffee or tea. But nonetheless it was not what I expected for such a so called high standard restaurant. This was not a very pleasant dining experience and don’t think I’ll dine there again.

A few months ago I eat Lasagna there & it was really good 9-10, but unfortunately tonight it was absolutely bad, some parts were burnt & others rubbery & the sauce was like pie sauce 2-10. Also my partners gluten free pizza was almost $30 & a shocker for value & taste, nether meal was finished. Must admit the service was very friendly & understanding.

Beautiful dinner with the Wife and kids. Great food, drink, staff and atmosphere. Best Italian since living inner city. Took a bottle of the Prosecco home. 👌🏻

We thought we would try this place as we heard good things. Definitely won’t be going back ever again, the staff were rude and didn’t acknowledge us when we arrived and when we were leaving. Took ages to take our order even tho there was only 1 other table in the restaurant. When we went to pay our bill they wanted to charge us an extra $13 on top for a ‘credit card fee’ yet we were not paying with a credit card, went back to ask and they tried to convince us we paid by credit card.. wonder how many people they do this to. Food was poor quality. Really disappointed overall with everything.

Well, pizza was amazing. My friends loved the donut dessert. Cocktails were great. Just under the pump so be patient when ordering cocktails 🤣

Very pleasantly surprised to find this little gem right beside the motel I stayed in. Warm and friendly staff, lovely decor and great atmosphere. Loved the wine selection - I had a Pinot Gris - and my choose of food - silky gnocci accompained by lamb ragout- was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Disappointing that all four pizzas were burnt and lacked flavour. Enjoyed the polenta chips with gorgonzola. Wouldn’t go back.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool.best Italian authentic food I ever had. wine list and wonderful dessert.I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

Did some online research and I was pleasantly suprised that it not only met, but exceeded our expectations in quality food, ambience and customer service. The seafood was deliciously fresh and we will be back when in Victoria again. You guys did it ALL right. Kudos to the whole team.

Sensational experience overall! The Polenta chips, arrancini and pizzas were fantastic, full of flavour yet not overpowering, alongside a fantastic Shiraz to compliment the food, Very reasonably priced given the quality of food, staff and service was perfect.

Excellent food, beautiful presentation & the waitress Mikaela had the best customer service, she was lovely & very attentive! Hubby & I had a lovely evening! We will be back 🤗

Lovely staff. The pizza was absolutely amazing. The pesto on mine was heavenly!! The gluten free base was so delicious - not the frozen, texture like cardboard you get at most places. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Cosy and Warm atmosphere. Friendly staff and one of the best italian cuisine in Melbourne.

Went for dinner on a Thursday. Walk-in no booking. They shuffled tables to fit us in and service was prompt and friendly. Water, bread and oil dips came almost immediately and drinks were served quickly too. Mains were fantastic - linguini marinara always my favourite and they didn’t disappoint. Staff we very busy but attentive and friendly. Could not fault their quality or service. Had takeaway several times during lockdown but good to be able to dine in again. Hasn’t disappointed us yet. Will be back.

Excellent customer service and delicious food. Tbis is one of the best authentic family italian restaurants. I had their home made gnocci and prawn(gamberipizza both were amazing. Their desserts are absolutely delicious specially panna cotta. Wed definitely go there again.

Absolute Rip off $20 for a very small margarita pizza.Taste is nice bit not $20 worth of pizza.This place use to be very good.

Update: post lockdown DZ is popular and busy...Which means that the staff is under pressure. This led to me standing around for 5 minutes despite arriving at the advised time to collect a take away order. Whilst I could see my 4 pizzas sitting on the kitchen counter all this time I was ignored by staff. When I finally got home the pizzas were pretty cold. Not on par with my previous review unfortunately... If you charge a premium price for a product the service needs to be premium too. I might revert back to DOC.Great pizza.... recommended

Food and service were average. Ambience was nice.We went for a late lunch so it wasnt very busy. Drinks took as long to make as what it did for the food to come out.I have to say my expectations were pretty high on what I thought the pizzas would be but I was dissapointed. Everyone ordered pizzas bar one and all had similar feedback. I ordered the new York which was average and dry. My daughters chips had been fried for to long so there was no fluffy potato left at all on the inside just the crispy outside. The doughnuts were surprisingly bland aswell. Service was slow and ordinary. No one asked how the meal was, just took payment and off we went.

Booked in for a lovely night for my friends and myself and upon walking in, was unpleasantly shocked. Our first interaction with the waitress was poor, we were dismissed and thrown on an unset table (even though we had made a booking prior). We waited 20 minutes for any further interaction and with that came water and menus and we ordered our drinks. After waiting 30 minutes for our drinks to come, we noticed the staff were on the their phones and not preparing anything. Finally our drinks came and we were able to order our meals. Another 50 minutes goes by and our food arrives but they were inconsistent with what was promised on the menu….This place has the potential to be brilliant, food was amazing (credit to the chef’sbut seriously need to make sure their staff know how to actually work in hospitality and put customer service first.

Whilst I have enjoyed doppio zero before unfortunately this experience was underwhelming...On entering it was clear a space hadnt been made for our booking.. Hardly even spoke to the waiter she left us wondering and confused. waited over 30 minutes for drinks (the women behind the bar were laughing and chatting on their phones and it took up to over an hour to be asked if we wanted to order.. the food was tasty however, we had to rush our meals.. The portion sizes were too small for the price. We are disappointed that no one checked in with us, or even offered us another drink or any tap water.We felt overlooked and unimportant.. 😔😔

Quite possibly the best Neapolitan-style pizza on the peninsula. Their bases are amazing - light, chewy inside, crunchy outside, with the perfect amount of charcoal. Theyre frequently busy (for good reasonbut are always courteous and accommodating. Were stoked to have Doppio so close to home. Please dont change a thing!

I have now had 3 separate occasions when the customer service has been so so bad !!Last night we placed an order for 3 pizzas and two sides . My partner waited for 15 minutes as our food sat there ready because no staff members bothered to look for it . Then proceeded to not even to give us the sides we ordered. When he got home the food was stone cold with two things missing and I had to call to request a refund for my food as this is the 3rd time something has happened.They have told me that today the money would go back into my account and yet still hasn’t . And now are ignoring my calls !The staff are rude and seem to have no interest in customer service. Big let down .Not one to normally write a review but this is enough now 3 times is ridiculous.

Took my daughter for a meal. My booked table wasn’t quite ready so was asked to wait at the bar where I could order a drink. No one attended to me...no drinks menu. When I got someone’s attention they said they will be with me shortly, but never did. Finally got our table...just wanted a main course each. Waited 90 mins for food to arrive which meant we were eating steak at 930pm. At 910pm they apologised and offered a complimentary garlic focaccia. I declined as I was concerned about eating such heavy food so late. Food wasn’t worth the wait. They did however give the take out pizza I was taking back for my husband for free as a good will gesture.

The place is nice and the service staff were great, however our food was average and it took ages to arrive. Amongst our family of four we had chicken, steak & pizza and we all gave it a pass but nothing special. Prices fair, $135 for a couple of entrees, 4 mains and a couple of drinks. Our biggest gripe was the wait, about an hour for mains and the place was nowhere near full. We gave it a try but wont be heading back.

Ordered primavera pizza (which is most popularand latte. The coffee is 1 of the best i ever tasted (it is gigante coffee beans according to waitress). The pizza is very unique and quality miles ahead those ordinary pizza shops around Melbourne suburb ( especially the very fresh rocqutte and unique taste prosciutto). However, I suffer mild diarrhea after 30min, please maintain and check ingredients freshness.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing! We have been going there for years and getting takeaway from them at least once a week and weve never had one bad experience! The scenery and vibe in there is beautiful and it has such a lovely country feel but also great for people who love city restaurants. We have done many birthdays there and its great for kids. It is definitely one of our favourite restaurants of all time and I would highly recommend it! :)

What can I say. I said I wouldn’t come back after the last time. I’m currently sitting in the restaurant waiting for food from disinterested staff. An hour for some barely warm arancini and it’s been another 40min and still waiting for mains. When my partner asked if there was an issue in the kitchen this evening he was quickly advised “ah we’ve had a lot of steaks needing to be cooked”. There was no apology or care for the customer. Mains were received after an hour. Didn’t bother ordering dessert as didn’t want to have to wait another hour. I will never be back or sit through such a poorly managed dinner. Kitchen staff are clearly way over their head!!

After hearing really good things about the venue, I was excited to have the opportunity to go and experience it. Unfortunately, Doppiozero certainly didnt live up to expectations. We had to wait a ridiculously long time for our meal to arrive but this was after the waitress was initially too busy to take our order! When the food came, the pizzas were soggy in the middle and the meals did not arrive together. It was really clear that the staff were under enormous pressure, with one waitress slamming down the bottle of water requested. We dined as a party of 12 and everyone at the table was unhappy with both the service and food quality.

Came to Doppiozero for the first time on Friday and was very impressed. Food absolutely delicious and a fairly generous portion for this kind of restaurant. Food and drink is quite expensive but quality is of worth for the price you pay. Only criticism is that service was quite slow (it was a Friday night but it wasnt pack-packed busy, just generally/medium-busy). Be prepared to wait a bit, however it was worth it in the end because the gnocchi was absolutely delicious alongside my partners meal was great as well.Thank You!

Such amazingly friendly staff, food was superb and wait time was short and customer service second to none. Would highly recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely be back again.

Fantastic place for Fathers Day lunch. The Doppio’s Salad and the Doppio’s Doughnut were our standout favourites.

Pizza is so good the dough is very chewy and still crispy. Kids menu, salad is nice. we will come back to try more food!
