Doppio Coffee Warehouse Ealing - Espresso bar in Isleworth, United Kingdom
Always a good vibe at doppio, and when I went there yesterday I was so thrilled to see multiple vegan options, which have been lacking previously. There were only sweet options, and no savoury, but I got a cinnamon bun that was absolutely delicious. The woman who served me was super nice, and the americano was good too.
I never miss their excellent espresso when I do my food shopping in West Ealing. ☕
Nice coffee and friendly staff, but the wifi is so bad I had to stop work and go elsewhere - plus smokers on the bench outside fill the otherwise airless room with their stench.
Great coffee, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere to sit and chat or work. Not really much more you could ask for in a local cafe. The cinnamon roll was particularly tasty; they warmed it up to make it nice and sticky.
One of the best cappucinos in town! But the main reason I visit this place is to get my supply of coffee beans from here (which they grind for me in the shop). Id just recommend changing the label on the 250g bag of "Hand roasted coffee" as currently it shows 90% arabica/10% robusta, but as I learned in the shop today this label is old and its actually 60% arabica/40% robusta. Theres no sign to inform the customer the label is incorrect.
I usually dont order cappuccino outside because most bars are not able to prepare it... but today I saw how the barista prepared the milk foam and from there I already knew that the quality of the drink would be so professional. I immediately ordered an oat cappuccino and the result was wonderful. The price was right. The décor is also extremely pleasant.
Amazing coffee shop, the wonder of the area. Proper tasty coffee, fresh pastries, comprehensive drinks menu & friendly staff. It is surprisingly large inside with lots of seating, (some outside as well), equipment from reusable coffee cup, filters to original presses french, turkish etc. Also can buy beans or ground them as you need.
Ive seen some of the reviews taking of not very good customer service. I dont know if I was lucky but I went this morning with my 3 year old. There was a lovely, smiley, friendly Russian/Romanian lady barista. Service was friendly and quick. Coffee was good, not acidic or bitter. Her frothy milk was on point, as was the little heart in my flat white.Spasiba
Best coffee in Ealing, talented baristas
Amazing customer service and perfect coffee.Good environment and reasonable price.
Have meant to stop here for a while. Got a good americano. Coffee seems reasonably priced per kg!The guy working there was practically unable to listen to me. Tried having a conversation with him about grinders and buying a potential one and he totally talked over me and actually never once really heard what I was asking. I explained which machine I have but he hadn’t heard of a caggia classic, which really gave me doubts about him first, purely because previous to this he’d be talking as if he really knew his stuff. Then he proceeded to try to finish my sentences and literally talked over me. At one point I looked right at him and said “it would be cool to find out more information about what I’m looking for” loudly and brightly, and he still just talked at me about how he didn’t think about coffee machines anymore because he’s so used to the machine in the shop. Weird experience. Even the other customer beside me was laughing about his complete lack of attention or empathy. Crazy other worldly experience with someone whose ego is pulling the levers more than anything else.Definitely have no reason to go into that shop again and wouldn’t if I did.
i agree with some of the review below there are one or two staff members who will not acknoledge you inspite of me saying hello and totally ignore you as if its a bother to them when the customers are therethey should not be there and find another job as it is very clear from therebehavior that they cant be bothered to serve anyone
coffee is okay but guy with glasses and long hair on bar extremely rude. Never again there!
My review comes from hoping that this wonderful place would take on the feedback. I loved Doppio for the atmosphere and the kind staff that I generally am served by. However, I felt the tall lady with dark hair is always extremely bitter and miserable. Even when I thank her or say hello, she ignores. She really made me feel like I was a bother to be there. I have visited the coffee shop a few times but now, when I walk past the coffee shop and see that she is the barista, I actually stop myself from going in.Perhaps, she is going through something and if so, I hope she gets better soon.
Will go again. Only popped in to get take-away cappuccinos, but I was struck by the atmosphere, good coffee, and friendly service. If you’re up for a fresh place then this is a must to visit.
The coffee is great but the service can be poor, in that you are ignored whilst the barristas chat or if you drink in, they forget your order completely and they need a reminder.
Great coffee, as always but as others have mentioned, poor customer service. We came in and the tall, dark hair barista had the most miserable look on her face. It made me sad. This was the second time weve visited where she served us and she looked so down. When we left, she didnt say goodbye. I hope she feels better soon and the management can train their staff to project positivity to brighten up the atmosphere when serving customers.
I used to love this place… the coffee is great and some staff lovely but one lady with red hair that always seems very depressed. She always forgets to give me things too. The young polish gentleman is very kind but the others are always chatting and dont care about getting the coffees made in a timely manner.
Just popped in for a coffee as I was early for a meeting. Great service & a delicious cappuccino- not surprising given the range of coffee on sale.
I saw this cafe and thought it would be worth visiting (especially based on the google reviews). The shop itself is really nice, with the design and layout establishing its own signature - selling coffee products as well, blending into a side of the wall. Now, I got a latte and almond croissant. The coffee tasted okay, a little on the weak side. The coffee:froth was reasonable. As for the croissant - I suppose because I’ve had them from the likes of Carluccio’s and Gail’s, my expectations are quite high - it was not as enjoyable as I had hoped. The staff are friendly and welcoming, adhering to social distancing and tending to hygiene measures. There is plenty of seating indoors, which they appear open to.I will likely have to visit again to determine consistency, but there isn’t much variety on offer to allure me back. If you are around the town and like supporting independent businesses, I would suggest checking them out. 6/10.
Great place - barista and staff are largely Italian and lovely people all, but that would mean nothing if the coffee wasn’t good: it’s the best in town!
A coffee shop truly dedicated to coffee. Besides making a well balanced cappuccino and a tasty hot chocolate, the store offers a good variety of coffee makers and bags of coffee blends. All the baristas in there are really friendly and they always serve you with a smile.
Visited this coffee Shop with My daughter Libby a coffee conneseur, who loves it. We enjoyed an absolutely fantastic cup of flat white with cannoli. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The shop itself was very interesting with coffee beans for sale as well as quirky coffee making paraphernalia. A coffee conneseurs cafe.
The best Coffee with the friendliest staff, always happy to discuss coffee products with you. The focaccia sandwiches and pastries are so good!
Gotta admit. The most friendly staffs in Ealing xcarrot, lemon, cannoli, baci di dama, chocolate salami, you name it, theyve got it. great quality in both desserts and coffee.Their house blend coffee beans are amazing, weve tried green, brown and orange so far, we are loving it.
The best coffee I have ever had in London. I used to live in Italy so I know what the best coffee is like and they make the genuine one. The new girl with red hair can also speak in Italian and she makes the best coffee. She is very friendly. I can not wait to go again and try the new one x
Really great staff Ronaldo and his team are superb, and coffee to match. Venue is great also, rustic and different. So superior to Starbucks and other such places
Absolutely obsessed with this place! coffee is superior to any other high-street cafes and the staff are super welcoming and friendly, Phillipe even remembered my smoothie preferences!
It is just a bonus Doppio sells coffee because the staff are enough for me to visit daily. Renaldo is a great guy and makes a wicked coffee. Highly recommend that if you live in the area and use Starbucks or Costa, come and try Doppio, I guarantee you wont regret it.
My name is Yassmine and i’ll be writing this review based off my experience. Looking at the exterior of the coffee shop, it’s very cozy and feels like home. They even have a display of different coffee essentials, coffee machines, and some coffee beans if you prefer to make your coffee at home. When you walk in, your first sight is the rack / display of items related with coffee. As I said recently, coffee beans, machines, cups { i think! } and more! Next to the counter is a fridge of beverages which you can choose. Orange juice, water etc! When you walk up to the counter, your eyes immediately go to the display of pastries which smell and look quite amazing. I’ve had a few of their croissants before! The first time I came to Doppio I was welcomed in by a barista named Nassima who was so nice and bubbly with me. She interacted with me and gave me all my options! Hot beverages, cold beverages, foods and even asked if I was interested in buying the warehouse’s items. She was so generous with me and it felt amazing considering it was my first time. The coffee shop definitely was an amazing experience overall.
Excellent espresso, pastries and ambiance. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend!
Exceptional specialised spot andgreat coffee.I was so impressed with the staff that welcomed me today Renaldo and Nasima, They were knowledgeable and, above all, friendly in the most genuine of ways.It is good to find a place with an independent feeling.Certainly one of the best coffee shops in West London.
I went there twice and Victoria really made my day. Apart from coffee (delicious!!I have also tried the banana bread AMAZING! Ive never been so happy about a coffee shop before :)
I love coffee shops like these guys. They have fresh coffee and also offer a variety of coffee beans to buy and also coffee making equipment for home use. They also offer great tips and help how to use your equipment to the fullest! Also they have a lovely little cafe for your coffee and sweet tooth fix. Would be in here alot if there wasnt a second lockdown 😅
Wonderful coffee shop run by knowledgeable enthusiast. Wide range of cool coffee gadgets incl burr grinders and insulated cups. Great selection of beans which theyll grind while you wait.
Easily the best coffee, indoor setting and staff in Ealing. (And I’ve tried them all).Home coffee blend interestingly Arabica and Robusta — beautiful taste with no acidity. Freshly roasted and you know it with each cup.Indoor neutral decor and music is chill instrumental and jazz. Frequently find myself in the zone working for 2 or more hours straight.Renaldo and Victoria are experienced and warm. They know most of their customers by name and always have a smile on their face.A triumph!
Finally someone who knows how to make such a good coffee!!! 😍 very friendly staff. I can recommend everyone. Good place for coffee lovers like me
Great coffee, nice interior, and excellent service. The staff are really friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about coffee. Great place to buy coffee beans, equipment, or grab a takeaway coffee.
Nice local coffee shop with well made coffee.Staff smiling and talkative.I will be back.Update - 2nd visit and the coffee was consistent.Losses 1 star for not having a door closer for thr front door. Customers kept leaving door open.
Good pizza and atmosphere. We had the mushroom sally. Not a very big pie so if more than 2 people make note. Good hand cut fries. We got a salad that was good also and a chix ranch blt sandwich. Sandwich was good but prefer a sandwich roll to a boboli pocket.
Amazing place! So peaceful and quiet, perfect for work with a cup of great coffee 👌 Stuff always nice and smiling ☺️I’m going to come back again! For sure! And also quality of coffee... the best! ❤️
I really want to write a good review but having made a visit on a quiet Friday morning I am not impressed. We ordered a flat white and cappuccino both £2.80 each I believe. Very small cups and both were served at a temperature easy to drink straight away, not hot. I asked for hot milk to be added, my friend wanted wanted a spoon to drink the froth from the cappuccino but none around, they found a wooden teaspoon for us. Please take feedback on board. I want to support local businesses but not at any cost.
One star short of five - amazing coffee, incredible served to the table, unfortunately serving barista was not the most inviting or friendliest. Doppio your product is superior in the West Ealing area but one member of staff is so miserable, it ruins the experience..
Great coffee, cool atmosphere with its wooden tables and benches, and decent friendly staff. Theyve a loyal customer scheme: 10 cups purchased and the next is on them.
Beautiful,Hidden in plain sight, a gem of a coffee shop. From the moment I walked in I was warmly greeted, asked to take a seat. I ordered and my drink was delivered to my table. It was quiet definitely worth a visit. Well stocked with merchandise.Coffee was delicious, staff polite and friendly, shop clean. I will definitely return.
The coffee was really delicious. During my stay in Ealing I made sure to walk 15 mins to get here every afternoon! There is also a nice coffeehouse atmosphere, interesting antiques in the decor, rustic seating and friendly staff. Definitely the best coffee option in the general area.
Shows I just dont pay attention to shops when driving. Saw Doppio as I cycled past a week ago, and found time to visit this week. Chose a very sunny afternoon and had to retreat indoors to see the screen of my phone. The welcome was cheery & professional and the macchiato was perfect. I was also pleased with my choice of Almond brownie. A coherent choice of coffee beans, and I was grateful for the time spent with me determining which bean & grind would give my cheap deLonghi a chance of brewing a consistent coffee. Will visit again & will update once Ive made a few home brews.
Best coffee in West Ealing by a long way!Really great coffee, cool little shop selling beans and cups etc too. Staff are always super friendly and make great coffee every time!Only minor downside is the pastries arent amazing, suspect they buy them in from somewhere so they arent quite as fresh as some coffee shops, but still tasty and as good as most places!
Do you like good coffee?I mean, seriously good coffee, made by people that know what real coffee is?Well, then do yourselves a favour and go there, taste their coffee, buy their lovely blends.Youre welcome 😂Jokes aside coffee here is a serious business and its amaaaaaaaaazingPlus the staff is real nice!!!Ah and no, I dont know them personally and they definitely dont pay me for reviews!!!Im just so hestatic a place like that exists in West Ealing or...I should say London!😍
Have been coming here since they opened at Christmas. Great coffee, nice italian pastries, and you can pick up some beans to take home too. Staff are lovely and friendly and take the time to chat.
