My father used to drink here a long time ago, and it warms my heart that is still exactly as he described: friendly, local, and with good beer! So if you find yourself in De Pijp, do yourself a favour and grab a beer here!

We ordered 2 beers and Nachos. Nachos were extremely salty, not tasty either. Beers are good. 24 drafts and fairly priced (€4.50-6.50). Nice terrace, slow service as there is only 1 person for bar and service.

Amazing local neighborhood bar just like I like. Super friendly staff, great beer selection. I havent ventured into any food, and honestly, it looks a little dicey to me from what Ive seen come out of the kitchen, but maybe some day. For now, this review just covers the ambiance and beer!

A brilliant spot in De Pijp for craft beer. constant changing tap list of local and Netherlands wide breweries. Staff are always super friendly and great atmosphere.

Great local beer bar!The staff was extremely helpfulthe beer sections was really well balanced with offerings of just about every style you could want.Prices were very reasonable and the food was pretty high quality bar food. I dont know why it has taken us so long to discover Dopeys but I am glad we did and look forward to coming back again soon.

Good beers, friendly staff that can talk about whats on tap. I always try to stop by here when in town. Also a nice easy walk from the RAI if youre here for a convention.

Place the locals go to for a huge variety of beer. The 24 plaques with beer names and breweries chalked on them are small batches of draft beer. Its always a surprise whats on the wall.And the lovely staff is always ready for advice and a friendly smile.

Great little brown cafe with one of the best beer selections in town. Very friendly staff and cozy atmosphere where you can mingle equally with regulars, locals, expats and beer tourists. They also offer a really nice range of after dinner snacks to go with the beers.

Great bruin local bar, with very good/friendly service and a great mix of customers (older regulars with a young crowd). Very good selection of beers. Food is not great, but mostly people go there to drink.

Hands down the best stop over for lovers of exclusive beers (can we all stop calling it "craft" beer by now? Thanks). 24 beers from tap, and a regularly changing menu. You will not find too many Belgian beers here. The food is on point, exactly the way you want it in a bar: reasonably priced, a good choosing in barfood, some classic main courses and everything freshly prepared. Our to go to bar in Amsterdam.

For Amsterdam the food is above average, but Im not from Amsterdam. The beer selection is excellent, many locals, Belgians, American. Small place. Service is ...s l o w... but friendly. Nice tables outside, inside, and "winter garden". Overall a positive experience!
