My first choice lodging facility whenever in Makurdi. Decent lodging at affordable rate.

They offer the following services: Table service, Room service, breakfast at extra cost, laundry, baggage storage, wake up call, front desk, daily housekeeping, air-conditioning and car renting onsite.They accept credit cards, debit cards and cash.The rooms are moderately okay and their services are not bad commensurate with the price and location.

A place like Makurdi is difficult to get a good hotel. I liked how quite the place was. The rooms are spacious with functional facilities and at good rates. The rooms were clean and I got clean fresh towels every morning. Their staff are courteous especially the kitchen attendant. Their food are priced reasonably too. It will be my first port in Makurdi going forward.

Its been quite exciting and the services are really good too. The staff are very friendly and inviting. Surely I will always patronize the Hotel whenever I find myself in the town.

Doo Palace Hotel is definitely in the Top 5 Hotels in Makurdi. They have a beautiful swimming pool and a lounge, always order for Cow leg pepper soup while you are there it is yummy.

This is by far the worst hotel when it comes to customer service. They serve you as if theyre doing you a favour, plus their amenities are quickly deteriorating

This hotel has been consistent for a few years now in terms of power supply, room hygiene, courteous staff, meals and affordability. It has become a home for me anytime I am visiting makurdi.

Quite nice, but security could be a little more courteous, and sockets in the bar would be nice. Used to be a good place to work while having a drink, till they took out their sockets.

The lounges AC unit wasnt working . It was very hot . Aside that the waiters were friendly and service was swift .

The room were clean comfortable and cozy for the cost paid .. Its a small hotel but it got the job done

Had a horrible experience staying here.I had to check out almost 7pm, check out for me wasnt till the next day.They had other guests staying on the same floor who were obviously having a party in their room,smoking Indian hemp, loud music with people talking at the top of their voices disturbing the peace of other guests. More than 4 complaints to the front desk, the supervisor and the manager to get these guests to stop disturbing other guests with their unruly behavior proved abortive as these guests blatantly ignored hotel management.It shows theres no discipline with the hotel management.Really horrible management style.

The rooms are lovely and very cozy. It feels more like home. I love them and appreciate the great efforts of the entire Doo Hotel team.The only areas I am not comfortable with is that the WIFI isnt working and I in-guest are to pay additional cost to enjoy the gym and swimming pool facilities. This is the very first hotel I have experienced this amongst all hotels I have lodged and its not an encouraging trend.

Most hotels in Makurdi Benue State cant be measured in same category with this hotel, if am counting my top ten, I will definitely include it in my list. Their services is superb and the food is good and very affordable and what I love most is that its never crowded with a lot of visitors.

Location is very accessible from any part of the town, 24/7 supply of light, neat and affordable rooms, swimming pool, dried fish peppersoup (my favourite).

Clean rooms. Responsive staff. Orders can be placed for room service around the clock. Fresh linen and towels daily. Stable power supply. Overpriced menu. The kitchen staff could do with some more training. Advice to go with your toiletries though.

Doo palace has great accommodation for getaways while in makurdi the serene and neatness of the facility is what sets it out from others in makurdi.Theres a swimming pool for swim lovers as well as a functional free wifi to guests.It offers a variety of foods both continental and AsianThe staff are friendly ,attentive and ready to assist guests who are in need of one thing to another.The security at this facility is top notch with good parking options.Its really a good place for relaxation as the management always ensures that theres power always to the delight and comfort of guests at affordable ratesMost importantly, free from mosquitoes , bedbugs and other crawling insectsI therefore reccomends the facility to anyone travelling to makurdi and is in need of accommodation

Doo palace was cool. I enjoyed every bit of my stay. Though the wifi is not everywhere within the hotel or lets say there was no wifi reception in my room.

It’s a very good place to lodge, easy to find and in a secure area in town. It’s also close to a Catholic Church. They have a pool for adults and for kids, they have a lounge and a sit out at the pool side. Their laundry service is also very good.

Doo palace hotel is well locate at the centre of makurdi town. The environment is highly conducive for lodging. I cant imagine how the rate per room so cheap that you can always get value for your money. A night will surely convince you.

It was my first time in makurdi, and it was quite easy to trace, the staffs there are very pleasant and they pay attention to detail,they showed me to my room and helped with my bags, the rooms are huge, I was amazed,i stayed in the room and parlor,i expected less because it wasnt the city but I was quite shocked and pleasantly surprised,i had a hot shower, and was using top notch Wi-Fi, the internet speed blew my mind, I ordered for food and it came just in time, the food was amazing, and was made at record time, I had a TV in both the sitting room and the bedroom, I called the reception to help with my laundry and they delivered, I also called for them to wake me up at a particular time, I wasnt expecting them to of course, but I was beyond shocked when they called me at the time I asked, they have excellent service, and it is definitely situated in a comfortable area in makurdi, my overall experience was amazing there, I would definitely love to visit again, but of you dont have access to a car in makurdi, bikes are the way forward, thats the only means of public transportation there, and its the fastest you would ever get. Overall ambiance was great, amazing parking space, they even have bike men on standby,amazing staff, greatly maintained.

The rooms are simply and tastefully furnished, kept clean and well aired. I will give their service a 7 out of 10 which is impressive in the general area. It comes complete with a gym, swimming pool, and lounge. Good for business trips through Benue State. Their food is decent. I had to pay to use the pool though as it is not complementary.

One thing Id say about this place - looking out the balcony at 6.00am is very relaxing. Almost makes you want to stay just another day or two. It has ample parking space, staff are friendly, and their appliances work... to an extent. For 8,000 Naira the beds are comfortable and the room spacious enough for two. Its not too far out of the way if youre on the road and just passing through Markurdi, but their goods store is worse than lackluster.
