Doña Nora in Cienfuegos

CLOSED. Safe yourself the walk. Went out of our way to go here as it was one of the few restaurants in Cienfuegos with decent reviews. Unfortunately it was no longer operating.

A very beautiful restaurant, with original decorations inside from its time period. Menu had many options and was reasonably priced, between 350 and 700 pesos. Delicious meal, and very nice service. Unlike many other private places that doubled their prices this one kept prices similar to pre covid.

Pésimo servicio, Dependientes comiendo en horario laboral en plano salón, no hay carta de bebidas, y varios platos de la carta no disponibles. Una lástima por tan buena posición y bella vista que tiene hacia el prado

Super rapport qualité prix. J’ai testé l’agneau, une des deux spécialités de la maison et je n’est pas été déçu. La quantité été présente et le goût aussi. En plus de cela nous somme sur un serveur qui parlé le français et qui nous a gentiment placé sur le balcon. Je recommande.

Très bon restaurant! Pour Cuba c’est vraiment vraiment bien. Le service est impeccable et aux petits soins. Prix très raisonnables. C’est tellement rare dans ce pays qu’il fallait le souligner.

Ristorante fantastico, bellissima location storica, arredata con gusto, signora con chitarra ad allietare la serata, piatti ottimi, personale cortese, che conosce le lingue e visibilmente orgoglioso di lavorare in quel posto, prezzi giusti. Ci tornerei più che volentieri

Recomendadisimo restaurante los platos muy ricos en sabor y precio, camareros muy amables. Genial sería reservar para obtener una mesa en el balcón. Había música en directo.

Un lugar que te invita a volver de nuevo, la comida y sus precios están en buen termino. El lugar es muy ameno. La atención excelente.

Sin duda el mejor restaurante en Cienfuegos, todo un descubrimiento, en una terraza con vistas y musica en directo. La comida de 10, con una calidad precio espectacular y un servicio de 5*. Volveré algún día!

During my stay in Cienfuegos this past August 2019, I went to different places looking for that authentic Cuban Cuisine, upon arrival to Dona Nora I knew Ive found my place. Excellent food, the staff was beyond professional well dressed and well spoken. I cant describe with words how delicious the food is, you have to go there and experience it yourself. The restaurant has that "Old Cuba" felling love it!!!!!

One of the best restaurants in Cienfuegos.Attendants are very professional and kind.Sometimes there is live music and the ambiance is very good.In the rooftop they have a nice esplanade that is very enjoyable.Cuisine is good and prices rounding 15 CUC /person

We found this restaurant online and have no regrets dining here. Food was simply amazing and staff was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent resto. Le lapin était délicieux! Service professionnel. Prix très raisonnables. Beau décor, et les tables sur le balcon sont plus intimes et offrent une vue sur lavenue principale de Cienfuego. On a aimé!

Excellent service and food

Great and friendly service with reasonably priced food. The restaurant have sometimes live music and option to sit on rooftop terrace or balconies overlooking historical part of street Prado.I wish they had available some fresh juices the Mango juice I ordered didnt taste fresh but bartender had exchange it quick for Pina Colada that was good.Chicken on a stick was tasty, if you like less fat order the chicken breast.Fish De Dona Nora was 2 frozen filets with some garlic on top I would not order this dish again, 2/3 of one filet had strange collor and smell funny. I wish it was a fresh fish but fresh seafood is hard to come by like everything else.Coconut desert was excelent.

Das Fleisch hatte Sehnen und viel zu hart. Die Musik war zu laut.

Guide du routard à double tranchant, il ne faut pas en abuser. Oui le cadre est agréable, nous avons choisi les crevettes grillées( servies avec le classique riz, chips de banane,...un classique à Cuba). Les crevettes étaient molles et un peu écrasées(congelées et gros manque de fraîcheur !Nous sommes bretons), un plat sans saveur. Pour couronner le tout, ma femme à trouvé un gros insecte dans son assiette. Nous lavons signalé à la serveuse, qui sest juste excusée. Jai tout de même voulu tester le flan au caramel, très bon mais de très petite taille ! Bref nous navons eu aucun geste commercial, nous ne sommes pas du genre chieur, nous avons beaucoup voyagé et nous déconseillons cette adresse.

Regular. El ambiente del local, la música en directo, perfecto. Los camareros biens. La comida regular tirando a mala. La carne de cerdo y pollo muy secas y con nervios.

Environment is lovely, people very friendly but after eating at this place got stomach issues.. Simply impossible to digest the food I had there.

Good restaurant, good location and good service; the food was fine under the Cuba standards. Is a place that worths to take lunch or dinner.

This is a lovely and fancy place. We came at a busy time(it might be better if you reserve in advance),but they still serve you well. The food was nice and delicious. You can also go up to the rooftop to enjoy the view of the harbor with cocktails.

Good food and great service. The staff was really nice, we told them we wanted to watch a soccer game, and even though they didnt have one in the restaurant, they brought a TV from somewhere.

SUper moment dans ce restaurant de Cienfuegos, tout est parfait lieu,ambiance et surtout bonne cuisine. Service attentionné et efficace ce qui nest pas toujours le cas à Cuba. Adresse à ne pas manqué lors dune visite à Cienfuegos.

Peor cocina de Cuba. De cocina internacional no tiene nada ya que en la carta podemos encontrar solo pescado, langosta que nunca tiene, carne. Internacional?? NADA!!! Propaganda engañosa. He comido en restaurantes mejores . He pedido un pescado gratinado al camarón y lo que vino ha sido un pescado con queso tirado por encima y unos camarones sueltos por el plato con extracto de tomate

Buona cucina per chi vuole "distrarsi" un attimo dalle abitudini un poco monotematiche della cucina caraibica.Nulla di molto diverso ma ben cucinato. Buona scelta di vini.Bel locale caratteristico con piccolo terrazzo sul Paseo del Prado.

Dit restaurant heeft een goede naam. Wij bestelden mixed grill vis, maar we kregen een paar gekookte stukjes vis. Na een gesprek in de keuken, namen ze ons eten terug, en haalde dit van de rekening. 4 sterren, omdat het personeel erg attent reageerde, en het een erg mooie zaak is, waar je heerlijk ontspannen kan zitten. Ik geloof best dat je er lekker kunt eten, maar wij hadden net pech.
