Love this walk. The bird variety is spectacular. Blue wrens, cranes, turbo chooks, black cockatoos, and much more and I wont mention the platypus.

Near the hydro pool at splash great walking tracks a off the leash dog park with a playground for your animals. The fern trees bush paperbacks ect picnic area near childrens play area.

I like how quiet the place is, and it offers some good photo opportunity. The signs could be clearer though but its a nice place for a walk in the nature.

Has a good sized fully fenced off leash dog run ..good paved walking tracks situated next to Devonport aquatic centre nowhere to camp here as your not allowed to drive into reserve which has choice camping spots no water or toilets here good for dogs

Great place for walking with or without the Dog . Lots of lovely scenic areas but not so good when the Tide is out as lots of muddy unsightly areas

Council has neglected placing wood chips along the path, sitting their for over a year. Some of the tracks have become very worn out. Its a pleasant walk through but would benefit with improvement to the walking tracks and pavement.

Don Reserve is riddled with nice tracks. Almost impossible to get lost yet offers miles of tracks. Generally very quiet so great for a dog walk. Nice Don River or Don Mudflats views :)

Its handy to Devonport town, take a bus to Don College bus hub, from the bus interchange, in town. Use the river, ocean cycleway, to get there, lots of shade, the Don River Railway Museum, runs a train every hour, Google their website.
