If you’re looking for delicious food at a reasonable price, this place is excellent. The food is fast, fresh, flavorful, and properly spicy. The service is also excellent and attentive, and the interior is nicely decorated.

Hospitality was excellent.One of the dishes was starting to get rotten and was clear from the smell. Hope this review will be seen as a constructive feedback.

Delicious Sri Lankan food, authentic tastes and the right amount of spice available on request! We find it hard to get proper spicy food in Zurich so it was great to find a place that made their dishes the Sri Lankan way! Lots of vegetarian options. The staff were friendly and helpful. Looking forward to going back.

I had mixed feelings. First I should say that I don’t have a baseline specifically for Sri Lankan food. Although I do for Malaysian, Indian, and other ares of south east Asia.I got Roti and curry with chicken.Good: the vegetables were delicious and had great flavor! The price was really good and you got a good amount of food. The staff was very nice and friendly.Not so good: I found the roti to be really dense, especially as it cooled down, it was overly doughy and heavy. I am used to roti prata which is light and buttery. The curry was a little bit too sweet for me. I like bold strong flavors and was hoping for a more robust curry.Overall it was good and if you are looking for a filling, well priced, fast meal- this isn’t a bad choice

We started craving for indian food during our tour so we decided to eat here. The owner welcomed us with a warm smile and helped us out with the food, so we ate our dinner here for 3 days. For any main dish you order, you will be provided with atleast 3 curries. The taste of all the dishes were very good and the price is reasonable too.

This restaurant is 10 mins away from Zurich HB station and provides exceptional veg food with authentic south indian taste. I stayed here in swiss for 3 days and came back here all the days for dinner after my first time. The owner of the restaurant is very polite and was welcoming with a smile. The food had the right amount of spices and the taste was very close to what i get back in my home.Kothu roti was exceptional and the idiyappam was very soft and smooth to consume. Takeaways are cheaper here but even for the dine-in, the shop is really worth it. If you are around this area looking for south indian food, i highly reccomend this place. Fantastic taste and a very friendly owner!

This is a Sri Lankan restaurant and I had visited with some of my friends. We had Dosas and other stuff. Taste wise, its fine - nothing to complain about. I found it a bit costly considering the space inside and locality of the restaurant compared to other eating joints around the lake and some of the happening places.

Really nice food, highly recommended! Had kotturoti, medium spicy, was perfect! Lovely staff too. Nice cosy place to sit inside or they have seats outside too.

Nice Srilankan, south Indian dishes

We were quite surprised and definitely lucky to have spotted this place. Their Dosai with Lamb curry which was also served with Brinjal (Auberginecurry and Dal (yellow Lentilreminded me of my of food from back home in Bangalore, India. This is the first time I had Dosa that was so close to the actual South Indian dish in the last 2 years of moving to Germany. The couple who run the place were also quite humble and friendly. Definitely recommend this places for people looking out for authentic South Indian / Srilankan cuisine in Zürich. Pricing is also not too high when compared to other restaurants.

Good food,cute place,beautiful deco. But customer service w def a let down. Came here with my mom and waited for a bit before they even took our order. The lady who took our order didnt even bother to take our complete order before walking away to greet her regular customers i guess, who sat few tables away from us,n was laughing n chatting away with them. Had to stop her halfway and asked her to take our complete order. After a while we asked for a glass of water, and she gave us a look and said ‘a glass of water?’ paused for a bit before giving out a sarcastic smile while looking at the people who sat at the table next to us. Why tho?? We def felt offended n bad over this experience during our short stay in Zurich.

Fair in flavour, cheap in price but definitely not worth most of the reviews that read when I decided to try it! We masala dosai which the pancake was super good and crispy but the small side dishes werent super tasteful and a little bit neutral in taste. We also had puttukottu with scrimps which was not very tasteful and I found it with lack of tense and taste. Maybe it was a bad day for the chef, but we reconsider to give it another try.

Great authentic tasting food and great hosts. Well worth a visit!

We have been here many times beacuse of the great services ..the cook definitely knows how to serve the customer and handle kitchen work at the same time . This is one reason we come here very often to enjoy light evening meal Masala Dosai . Today was the special case , there is this lady at the counter who doesnt even know how the food is being served ..her behaviour towards us was very rude from the moment we placed our order and she doesnt even know how to speak with customer ..very unfreindly gesture . All we asked was just some extra chutney instead of vegi .😡 she made it so big deal out of it . When asked her about the manager or the owner , she said my sister is the owner and you can talk to her when ever you want to. She even laughed on face when complained her about how she treated us. The worse experience ever.

Amazing food. Had kothu rotti (vegetarian), masala dosa and masala chai. Great taste and definitely reminds you of food from southern India and Sri Lanka.

Well received, very flexible service: was able to get an extra item which was not on my dish. Generous portion (especially the chickenand the dish tasted great and was not too oily. Edit1:Keep an eye on portions , there are not always consistent. Edit2: removed a star cause portions of vegetables(and sidesare getting too small.

Excellent authentic food. The owners are super nice. The machine wasnt taking our card, and we didnt have any cash, so she immediately proposed that we could come the next day to pay.Would definitely recommend for the food, although the setting isnt ideal.

Cute little Sri Lankan restaurant and take away spot that serves delicious curry but be warned its hot. I eat mild food and this had a bit of a kick, something I noticed about Sri Lankan food. I opted for the vegan masala dosa and it was delicious. The dosa is made from rice and black lentil flour, served with 3 vegan curries and sambals. Would recommend.

Cost-effective Srilankan Restaurant with a nice menu. We had Idiyappam biryani, chicken meals and medhu vadai. The taste was amazing, and staff were friendly too. Highly recommended !!

This Sri Lanka restaurant serves traditional Asian curries and other dishes in a simple and pleasant setting. Dont expect a vindaloo or tikka masala - this is different and very worthwhile experience 😊

Really good one...Nice gesture from the owner.. by the time when we were there... he asked us .. are you hungry??.. We were confused by this question.Then he said they are preparing food and he asked us to wait little bit, and they served amazing food. Fresh, hot and tasty. He could have served us existing food but he didnt.. not only to us, he did it to every customer who came that time. Even they were busy he customized the food for our kid and our parents..You agree you dont see this kind of act in many restaurants.

Good food at unbeatable price. Nice, friendly and quick staff. No real ambiance nor decor, but that’s not really the idea here. In summer you can grab a take-away and walk a few steps to Limmat.

Great authentic tamil food, my tamil buddies recommended it to me. take away prices are around 12-13 francs, so definitely in the affordable range. Portions are also generous.

One of the best small restaurants in Kreis 5.Small choice of meals, but all are very delicious and highly recommendable!There are not many Sri Lankian restaurants in Zurich, which makes this one even more very special.The food is always freshly prepared and as tasty as it gets, try the masala dosai.Prices are probably the cheapest and fairest in whole Zurich with around CHF 18.50 for a menue which makes you full for the whole day.
