65 Orlando St, Coffs Harbour NSW 2450, Australia, Coffs Harbour
Waterside aquarium featuring opportunities to swim with dolphins & seals, plus shows & activities.
Came here from Newcastle with the wife and 2 kids we all really enjoyed ourselves , it was great ! Staff are all lovely and very professional I have read some negative reviews on here and think those people have judged to harshly , as I personally think it’s well worth the trip up here and the $ to see the looks of happiness on my family’s faces ! Highly recommend a visit , we did the private swim with jet the dolphin and Meg the trainer who is really nice and knows her stuff , she is clearly passionate about her job , thanks to all the staff for making us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in to the end of the day you are all great
Kids friendly but not worthwhile for $42 adult ticket. Really not much other than a dolphin and seal show.
Amazing place to visit on private tour
Great dolphin show. Kids were able to feed the fish at the large tank and get close to all types of sea animals
Come in your timeslot, otherwise you will miss one of their great shows!Great place, great animals and lovely staff! Prices for feeding and additional interactions are high but I guess it is booked so they can ask for it.I personally loved the little pinguins :)
Great morning 3hr event.. talks and viewing of penguins.. dolphins.. seals .... turtles and hatchlings... performances. Extra one on one .. If You Could Afford it.. (ouch $$$)
One of the main attractions to visit with kids. Other than dolphins they have sea lion and turtles. Major focus is dolphin show. You get the opportunity to touch the dolphins with normal tickets. If you are ready to spend more and with kids more than 4 years choose the animal encounter tickets to go upclose to these marines.
Loved it. Great experience and kids enjoyed it.
Had an amazing time swimming with Bella, she is a beautiful dolphin and got to do so much with her.
I highly recommend paying this wonderful place a visit. Passionate staff that genuinely care for the animals under their care.
Great Fun Filled Day. Very enjoyable. Highly Recommended. Come on over !!! ☆☆☆☆☆
This place was honestly amazing with how close and personal it was. The penguin feeding is a must see!! The animal trainers were more than happy to answer any questions we had.Although the place itself was very small there were shows on constantly so there was something to watch all the time!
My kids loved the place. There is a seal and dolphin show which was great, you can touch the dolphins as they swim past. We were walking past the dolphin pool (between showsand a dolphin popped his/her head up, made a noise and flicked a floating toy to my daughter wanting to play with her, my daughter threw it back in and the dolphin flicked it back out to her (this happened 3 timesand she was stoked. There is a tank with small sharks and raysharks, our kidsgot to feed them and the raysharks pop up and you can tickle their noses (my kids loved that too). Absolutely recommend.
Absolutely amazing! The staff were very knowledgeable, happy to stay and chat and interact with guests. Animals are very well taken care of, scheduled enrichments, choice to play or not and different environments. We got to play catch with the dolphins, if they chose to play with us, they were not given extra food for this, and had already been fed heaps. Staff chatted with us about turtles being rehabilitated before release and were happy for us to get up close to take pictures. All in all fantastic conservation efforts, very personal and so cheap, highly recommended.
A bit expensive ,they have changed things since I last went so no photos with dolphins or seals unless you pay 120 per personI wont be going again
Great little place..got to pat a dolphin on its belly
Great experience and nice marine park. Good insight into the conservation efforts of the turtles, seals and dolphins. Hands-on experiences with a number of the creatures. Great for kids and adults alike. Dolphin show is a highlight. Really good visibility at the exhibits.
We had a wonderful time with our kids. The Seal and Dolphin shows are highlights. Keep an eye out for casual seal strolls in the picnic area. Pack some brunch and enjoy relaxed time with family on sunny warm bench. Make sure to encourage your kids to touch Dolphins and feed the fishes. Have fun and stay safe.
My kids and I enjoyed our day in Dolphin Marine Conservation Park! Its a beautiful place with beautiful animals!💕 🐬🐧🦭🦈🐠🐢
Interesting place to visit. Not a large amount of animals on display. To get the most out of you day pass you need to go to all the shows. Otherwise not too much to see. The shows are very informative.
Today was Wet wet wet !! In more ways than one….Pricing for experiences is a bit crazy but fun for the rich I’m sure.Kids loved the park and had a great time. They pack a lot into the very small park had wheelchair accessible exhibits.
Adored every bit of this place, from the turtles to the intelligent dolphins and clumsy penguins. The trainers and staff are brimming with knowledge and experience. Well worth a visit.
Just been back to DMCP after a few months and had a wonderful Dolphin swim experience! The staff clearly all love their animals and are so generous with their time particularly with children. Keep up the great work guys!
An entertaining and educational visit. You really go here for the shows, as the exhibits are few. At the end of the dolphin show, you get to pat a dolphin.
The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to include everyone in interactions when they can which was very nice to see! Was a bit disappointed with the seal enclosure tho, there was too many people so we couldnt see anything.
Can’t describe how beautiful this place is!It’s small but amazing!Their job is holly! And what is more fun then working with those amazing animals!?Must visit!
Turtles! beautiful Turtles - Linda is in love - stunning juveniles on show no bigger than a 50c piece... so Cute! Penguins they too are cute... to know there were once a colony around the Coffs Area... WoW! Yes I saw dolphins my favorite was Sea Warrior Dolphin Artist - Jeramie Scahill how Rustique!Marine Conservation making a difference, thank you Kieran its 20 years + since my last visit, will visit again if only for the update on the Turtles
We visited the facility during their arvo session from 12-3pm. There were around 6 educational talks/presentations spread out over the 3 hours, including talks about a variety of fish, sharks and rays (you get a chance to feed them afterwards), enrichment items for marine animals, a sea lion and dolphin show, a guided talk about turtles in rehab, australian sea lions and another about toys for their resident penguins. The park itself isn’t very big but the talks kept us pretty busy. We could also ask questions at the end of each session and the trainers were all fantastic in helping us learn more about the animals and navigating the park. We particularly enjoyed feeding the marine animals at the end of some talks, which were all part of the talk (and free of charge, unlike some other aquariums/theme parks we’ve been to). Overall, a fun and educational day out, especially with kids.
We were treated like royalty! We visited during COVID and school term so there were not many others there. All staff were welcoming and happy to answer questions from our kids. Thanks for a great day out! I highly recommend a visit here to support their great work!
Absolutely amazing!! From the moment my husband, 5 month old and I walked in today we felt like part of the "family". Every single person that was working today was so damn friendly and you could tell how much the animals meant to them. I wish I could remember everyones name so I could mention them. I am actually blown away by how we were treated today. THANK YOU! This has made our first family holiday even more special. All of the animals were super happy. The turtles, the seals, the dolphins were all amazing. Oh and the penguins, my goodness.. how cute! There is even one named Devito!! Just like our first baby at home. Thanks again. What an experience!
We had an excellent time at the Dolphin Marine Conservation Park. Due to COVID there was a small tour that was intimate that needed to be booked prior and the biggest highlight were the dolphins and turtles! You can see these animals are well kept and happy! The guide was very informative with what they do with all the animals and had great facts about them.“Jonique Life”Follow our journey around Australia on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube as we highlight wonderful experiences and magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.
Good activity for adults and older kids. Trainers are very knowledgeable and willing to chat and provide lots of information about the animals and marine conservation issues. This is NOT a version of SeaWorld and it seemed that a lot of the younger kids were bored. The Dreamtime story acted out by the dolphins was pretty special.
Great place to visit with a nice cafe! The dolphin and seal show was incredible, and all of the exhibits were amazing. We loved playing catch with the dolphins and being able to get so close to them. It was a real treat to take my kids to a place that I remembered when I visited as a 4 year old. Such great embassadors for wildlife conservation!
Gorgeous animals and dolphin and seal show was awesome. Not sure if 100 people squashed together for 20 minutes to watch it is Covid safe. Underwater viewing of the various fish and turtles was fantastic.Definitely worth the visit when you go to Coffs.
We were hoping to see Dolphins but got got here a bit late. The service at the counter was great and there are a lot of Dolphin related souvenirs etc. Also will have to save up to come to see the Dolphin personal discovery season as they were over $300 ( for 4 but we were only 2)
Great place. But since covid hit. Cant pat the dolphins. Cant feed them like u used to. The actual show went that quick it didnt seem an hour. Got to see them feed the penguins. Sea lions etc. And see the injured turtles being rehabilated.
A nice place to visit while youre in Coffs Harbour for a short enjoyment. The staff are friendly, great atmosphere. It is just there arent many things to do.The best thing is the Dolphins show but I think the duration is short.Dont get me wrong, I know that they help the marine environment, however, for me, I thought that the price it too high for the visit.
Its average. The penguin part and sea lion part was ok. But the dolfin show really didn’t feel worthy. There was a long speech but the dolfin act was not sufficient. Other sea animals were alright. Lots of improvement options remaining.
Went with the family and we had a fantastic time, it was my daughters first time seeing dolphins and sea lions and the look on her face of sheer amazement when they started the show was priceless.
Very pleasant visit. A little different due to covid. This marine conservation park is doing an awesome job rehabilitating and rescuing marine life from around Australia.
Great show, and very informative. They r trying hard to help with the conservation of marine life. Worth a visit. Expensive for what u get though.
Visited the park with 2 adults and 2 children and had a wonderful time. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! Kids cuddled a seal and even had a go at training one of the dolphins. The show with the dolphins and the seals was wonderful to watch. You even have a chance to touch the dolphins after the show. The other exhibits are quite good too. They have penguins, turtles, fish and other creatures. Really enjoyed ourselves. Well worth the visit.
Great place to visit for a reasonable price. I took two kids 12 and 6 they loved it. Very clean facilities and many options to grab a feed or snack for the kids. Plenty of time to spend up close with the dolphins, also an option to get seal kisses (line up early and expect a wait as there are alot of familys). Very knowledgeable staff happy to answer any questions. Great timetable with something happening every 15-30 minutes. Try to get to each show on the timetable early as the viewing space fills quickly.Would definitely go again out of the school holiday period.
We had Christmas lunch at DMC it was pleasant enough, the nicest part of the food was the Christmas pudding. The rest was pretty ordinary. One thing I did love was my daughter gave me a viewing with Hugo the baby fur seal. That was awesome. They have changed their program and the usual show with the dolphins is very short now. Whether it is to do with the protesters and the care of the dolphins, I dont know. If it is to benefit the dolphins maybe it is not a bad thing.
Just prior to flying back home, we visited the Dolphin Marine Conservation Park in Coffs Harbour and enjoyed the most fun afternoon watching the dolphin and sea lion presentation featuring Calamity & Jane and Rosie. It was truly wonderful and enriching to watch the very talented team of trainers and the marine mammals entertain and educate the crowds of adoring spectators. I couldn’t help but feel envious of such cool jobs getting to work with such beautiful animals. The aquatic conservation park was excellent and worthwhile the visit! Highly recommended!
It is my first time to see dolphin and touch them. They are lovely mammals and super intelligent. One of the dolphins even play ball with us by throwing it outside the pool. Dolphin kiss is the best experience in my life and the sea lion is also lovely. Lunch at the cafe is great especially the seafood basket and the Vitorria cappuccino is flavourful.
A place where you can meet the Dolphins 🐬 get kissed by them, you find the seals..can hug them.. you find turtles.. penguins 🐧 and peacocks. Nice place. Dolphin show is really good. Near to city center.
Small scale marine park in the middle of Coffs Harbour, lots of opportunities to get up close with the animals. We had an interactive dolphin experience as a milestone birthday gift (these are very expensivebut was pretty impressive. Entry to the park isnt cheap but a large percentage of the proceeds go towards marine conservation activities which makes it seem more reasonable. Overall a nice family holiday activity.
Lovely place for families to visit. You have the option for a kiss from a dolphin and a cuddle from a seal all included in the entry price. You could not take photos of this happening as they have professionals taking photos instead, but you do have the option to purchase the photos either printed, online or usbMy daughter and niece were lucky to be picked from the audience to instruct the dolphins to dance. Was a lovely moment and memory made.Informative and care shown for animals which is by far most importantA must when visiting Coffs Harbour
Absolutely loved it. The staff were so friendly and it is kept so nicely. I went with my husband and three children, and we came out of there with huge smiles on our faces. Between the gorgeous peacock, dolphin kiss and play time, seal interaction and fabulous eating areas, not to mention the reasonably priced photos, we were very very happy. Were now planning a stay in Coffs Harbour and doing the "swim with the dolphins" package.
