Brian and Amy were fab. Super caring and knowledgeable. Amazing. Location and place.

What a wonderful place. A little hotel cut out of the jungle. Wildlife all around and the view of the bay is spectacular. The food is the best around and the best I had on my trip. If you want a nice place to relax and watch the wildlife this is it. So many birds, dolphins, frogs, bats and lighting bugs. Take a ride on the stand up paddle board or just sit on the dock and watch the sunrise.

Unique gem! If you truly want to leave reality behind for a little bit, make sure to stay a couple of nights at dolphin bay hideaway. Its quite small overall, which makes it a super personal experience. The hosts Amy and Brian are a lot of fun to stay with. Brian showed us the rainforest around the bay with all sorts of plants and animals, which was overall very informative and educative. One has to admire this mans passion for wildlife, birds and plants youve never seen before!Amy treated us with fantastic home cooked dinner and drinks after our excursions (make sure you have a passion fruit daiquiri daily!). There are kayaks and stand-up paddle boards to explore the bay on your own for a little bit.However, the hosts are also happy to organize a guided tour if youre up for it. Rooms are clean, as is everything else. Would definitely give DBH a try if youre around Bocas! 5 stars !!!!

Dolphin Bay was hands down the best part of our whole trip to Panama. What a stunning property, lovely hosts and amazing food. We had the best time exploring the property to see the wildlife (so many sloths!and going out on tours with Brian to snorkel and see dolphins.Highly recommend giving yourself more time here than you thought! And dont bother doing day trips from Bocas if youre headed to dolphin bay- youll see more with Brian & Amy anyway!Thanks Brian & Amy for the wonderful stay.

Dolphin Bay Hideaway was the most beautiful and best location during our trip in Panama. Brian and Amy take great care of their guests, the nature is just stunning and the food is really delicious. Highly recommended!

This bnb is an absolute gem - set on a remote island, in the middle of the jungle, by the water, it is the place to stay at if you want to disconnect and soak in the beauty of Panama.The grounds are absolutely beautiful and so well kept with wonderful exotic flowers and amazing wildlife.It is well equipped with paddle boards, kayaks, a small pool, and a small outdoor gym area.Brian and Amy are so friendly, you can tell how much love and time they dedicate to their beautiful bnb.The staff is also very friendly.Above all, the food is restaurant quality, the variety of dishes was outstanding. It was truly an experience we will never forget!

We are so thankful that we stayed at Brian and Amy’s beautiful piece of paradise. We saw dolphins already in the way to the lodge and borrowed the paddle boards to experience the gorgeous waters around. Brian has an immense knowledge about the nature and animals in the archipelago and Amy cooks the most amazing meals. We were pampered and felt very comfortable during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Dolphin Bay Hideaway. We were picked up by boat in Bocas Town and the journey there was already an experience. As soon as we arrived at the Dolphin Hideaway, we immediately felt like we were in paradise. The accommodation is in the middle of nature with a beautiful bay. Amy and Brian are very warm and helpful hosts. We loved Amys drinks and food and also went on various trips with Brian. We went snorkeling, visited the Blue Coconut, enjoyed the beautiful Red Frog Beach and went on an exciting hike in the jungle. Our time at Dolphin Bay Hideaway was truly unique and we will never forget it. Thank you and we cant wait to come back!

Das dolfin bay hideaway wird von den liebevollen Gastgebern Amy und Brian geführt.Von Bocas del Toro geht es mit dem Wassertaxi in etwa 20 min dorthin. Es gibt einen kleinen Pool, Kanus, gutes Frühstück und Abendessen.Es ist mitten in der Natur und Brian zeigt einem gerne den Jungle. Tagesausflüge zum Strand können unternommen werden, da es direkt keinen Strand gibt. Wir haben eine Schnorchel Tour gemacht und vom Boot Delfine gesehen.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Trinkwasser gibt es vor Ort, deshalb muss man keines in Plastikflaschen mitbringen.Brian und Amy engagieren sich sehr für die Natur und deren Erhalt. Jeder kann seinen Teil dazu beitragen und schonend mit den Ressourcen vor Ort umgehen.

Great place to stay! Amy and Brian are great hosts and their food is wonderful!We like the way they try to preserve nature and live off the grid.Spotting Dolphins, great snorkeling, kayaking and a nice hike on their land.And oh, the baby slough they are taking care of is so cute.We loved our stay. Unforgettable!

Just Wow, this is Airbnb is unlike any other I have stayed at. The food, the accommodations, the peaceful setting, the dolphins, and the tours are amazing. The hosts, Brian and Amy, go to great lengths to make sure that you have a vacation of a lifetime. Keep in mind that when you stay here you will not be walking to any other restaurants. Once you’ve tasted the food that Amy and her staff make for you, you won’t want to go anywhere else. They can accommodate any type of diet, including a vegan diet. All you need to do is ask.Make sure you take advantage of the tours they offer including jungle tours and snorkeling tours, Brian’s knowledge of the area is unparalleled. On the jungle tour you will learn so much as he tells you about the different types of trees and you sample the cacoa fruit along your walk. On the snorkel tour you will see so many vibrant colors of coral and fish! Dolphin Bay Hideaways’s work to reforest the adjacent area and restore the coral in the bay is truly amazing to witness.Skip the tours from Bocas town and just stay here after you’ve had your fill of Bocas town. You can be at any of the destinations the tours take you on within minutes and be back at your hotel sipping mojitos straight away. Dolphin Bay Hideaway is truly paradise, just book it, you will be glad you did.

THIS IS PARADISE FOUND!I have not got enough good things to say about this place. Firstly, the place is truly paradise set amongst tropical gardens in a quiet part of the bay, surrounded by mangroves. Brian and Amy are the most incredible hosts, going above and beyond to make you feel at home, totally relaxed and nothing is ever too much trouble. From organising tours, boat trips, cuddling baby sloths, getting you a beer whilst you’re floating in the sea... The food is amazing and the cocktails even better. The beds are super comfy and rooms are gorgeous. You have kayaks, paddle boards and a whole host of activities you can sign up to, or just chill out on the dock, by the pool or terrace! We stayed in the Sunrise Room for our honeymoon and loved waking up to dolphins playing in the bay. You don’t need to read another review, trust us! We’ve travelled a lot and this is one of the most delightful places we’ve ever stayed! A total highlight to our trip and we’re already planning our trip back!

Amazing couple, Brian and Amy as host.How to get there: if you go to the dolphin bay you will get an overall inclusive package which also includes the transportation from Bocas del Toro to Isla Cristobal.Why go there: furthermore you can check out amazing snorkeling spots, go kayaking or stand up padding while enjoying the dolphins around you. And before I miss it: food is incredible!-> you should definitely go there.Many thanks to Brian and Amy for having us and the great time.

Gorgeous hideaway perfection!Location-Ive always considered myself a beach person, but I cant imagine a cooler setup than Dolphin Bay. You can step right off the dock any time of day onto a paddle board, into a kayak, or a float in perfectly calm water. Watching the dolphins from the upper deck was great.Hosts--Brian and Amy are amazing! They hung out with us but also gave us plenty of privacy. Whatever your personality, theyll make you feel comfortable and welcome. They always offered us honest opinions of activities, etc. We loved hearing their travel stories! We left our doors open the whole time, and I never would have considered needing to lock or even shut doors there.Things to do--We got exactly what we were looking for in Dolphin Bay Hideaway---a location that was a true getaway, yet very accessable to activities. Snorkeling in various locations, the Bastimentos zipline, and having daytime drinks at the nearby Blue Coconut were all super fun. Every island we saw here was beautiful, but I cant imagine not staying at this hideaway in San Cristobal! If you feel like mostly relaxing and doing very little on your vacation, this would be perfect for that as well.FOOD--"JA" and Amy made every breakfast and dinner out-of-this-world good. THE BEST Grouper Ive ever had. Daily fruit at breakfast was excellent. Cocktails too! The passion fruit daiquiri is a must-try.PS: Al final! Brian walked us the whole way from the port to the Bocas airport on our way out. In in the rain. Totally unnecessary, but so appreciate the above and beyond from these hosts our whole stay. Far above a 10.

To make this short and to the point .... when you want to stay in Dolphin Bay, you stay in Hideaway .... simply the best.

Awesome plaxe with amazing hosts

Wonderful B&B with lush gardens in the most tranquil but often forgotten spot of Bocas del Toro: Dolphin Bay, la Bahia de los Delfines. Worth a visit!

Dolphin Bay Hideaway is one of those places that leaves such meaningful memories. We are always looking for new adventures and experiences in life and Dolphin Bay did not disappoint. The views of the incredible lush gardens, Dolphin Bay, the ponds and pool were spectacular from all of the rooms in the house. The landscaped property showcased the many hours of work that go into creating such a beautiful jungle setting with many varieties of plants and animals that live among them. There was so much to discover or you could just relax. Amy and Brian are such amicable, professional, kind and helpful hosts. We went to Isla Zapatilla and Coral Cay. We were thrilled Brian was able to show us the bio luminous plankton and take us on a tour of the cacao plantation and show us many new discoveries in the jungle. Brian also took us snorkelling in the mangroves where we saw many types of starfish, jellyfish and colourful corals. The place has so much character, such as the handcrafted furniture. We appreciated all of the special details Amy puts into decorating and preparing the meals. The Margaritas and Lemongrass Sangria were superb as was the local prepared salsa. Amy’s expertise in wine also made it possible to have excellent wine in such a remote place. The local villagers they employ help make everything very special with Amy and Brian’s guidance. To name a few, the flowers in the room, on the bed, in the toilet, the cleanliness of the whole house and the tasteful local dishes. The gardener was even able to find a sloth for us. There were hammocks on the porches, in the gazebo and down by the dock. There is a lovely sitting area and bar to enjoy by the bay where one could frequently see the dolphins. The pool in the gardens was a nice feature to look at or enjoy a cool dip. We seldom do the same thing twice, but this is definitely a place that we will return to.

Our favorite spot in Panama. The sunrise room on the water was the perfect spot. Amy and Brian are great hosts, ensuring a delightful stay. The beautiful gardens, amazing food, peaceful dinners on the deck, night time bioluminescence, calm waters (great for kayaking and paddle boarding), made for a perfect few days.

Six months since we left, and were still raving to anyone who will listen about the amazing food, the secret snorkelling spots, the incredible bioluminescence at night, and the wonderful hospitality of the owners.

Our stay at Dolphin Bay Hideaway was a trip of a lifetime. We enjoyed meeting all the new people and now friends from around the world but mainly from the Hideaway itself. Ericka you were great with on the spot service and your family and friends were the icing on the cake. Hose Maria (Srwas an incredible host and the knowledge that he shared with us in our excursions was without a doubt inspiring to say the least. The info will last me a life time.
