Dolce Vita in Maputo

Fresh sushi only in maputo.I prefer here than any other place within maputo.

Dolce Vita...as the name....you leave this place with a smile and the taste of I WANT MORE.....

One of the best place to be in Maputo City, Good vibes, Good beer.

Terrible sushi, it used to be good but now its an absolute rip off, we waited 1hout for a take away and spent over 9.000mtz, and when we got home one third of the order was missing. When calling the next day to claim this they simply hanged up on me. Stay away from this place

Great service! Bad food... supposedly their main and strong dish are pizzas... the crust is just bad, and they are simply not tasty. They look good in pictures, just that.

A joyful place to have a moment. Food or drinks. Between sushi and pizza, all sorts of cozy food.

Lousy service, we placed our order and the waiter disappeared for half an hour only to tell us later that the kitchen is closed and that we wont be getting the food that we ordered. When one of our friends arrived after 23h00, he placed an order for food and he received it but we were told the kitchen is closed. He is a regular customer at Dolce Vita, we told him what happened to our order, he spoke to the waiter and 15 minutes later we had our food. The waiter was not very helpful at all and we left the restaurant feeling very disappointed with the service. Will definitely not go there again.

Very nice lounge bar, much more than this. You can chose lot of kind of food, from sushi to grilled meat, from salad to fresh grilled fish, desserts, good wine, cocktails and spirits. Everything in a very nice location in the city center. Very kind people will welcome you.

Wasnt sure where to go for dinner on a Friday night and found this place on Google Maps. Very glad we stopped by. The place was busy with locals and foreigners alike. Great place for us to people watch being our first time in Maputo. Food (pasta and pizzawas simple but really tasty! Not the cheapest meal I had in Africa but Maputo was expensive overall for tourist food given everything is imported so thats excusable. Live music was the highlight here, crowd looked like they were all having fun and the band was good!

One of the best sushi bars Maputo. Never been desapointed. They also offer other meals which are excellent. Their steak is tender and the flavour is amazing.

Went there as I was told they have music played there in the afternoons. Was disappointed it was not live music. The dessert of the day is good. Had a lemon cheesecake. Delicious!

Sweet place to go by, either for a night out with friends or for a afternoon just to take a sip of coffee. Serves sushi too. Prices are moderately fair.

Good place to hang out for drinks, especially before heading on to a disco or other place late at night. Music is decent and most people are dressed to impress.

Ive been a few times on Sunday evenings when they have live music. The singer always does a great job, the service is good and they have a menu full of tasty items. Sofar Ive only ordered sushi and pizzas.July 16th update: The burgers and Seafood pasta are also delicious.

Food and Drinks are fine but Management is not friendly with customers.Table service is poor.

First it is clean...you can eat susi and mozambique food...very good qualified fresh food with nice service...at downtown of Maputo

Maybe it is because I couldnt speak Portuguese and either the waiter/waitress speak English. For bar, it is vibe and music is good! Cool place to be!

Dolce VitaUse to be one of my favorite places to go back in 2010 and 2011.Until the service drop and the quality started to lack.I know that they remodeled that place. Its brand new now, but i havent been there in a while.Any ways, its a great place to have a beer, sit down with some freinds and enjoy some acoustic music, some jazz as well some live music.

Sushi was fabulous!!! There is a deejay in the night.

I love this place mostly because of the service... I feel at home there. Its a very nice place to be in for lunch or early night meals, some days like Thursday, Friday and weekends it is very noisy at night making it a disturbing place if you just want to relax.If you like live and loud music, this is the place to be on those nights.

Good enough restaurant, with a nice sushi bar, terrible environment, being usually crowded and with loud music playing in the background. Not a good place to go with someone you like to chat with. The food is good and I recommend the sushi (one of the best in town). Good selection of cocktails.

Great if you want a microcosm of the night life in Maputo. It gets packed to the rafters on weekends.Also, for a foreign national the sushi is serviceable. But no great.
