the pizza is great but the fries..... theyre not even cooked

Best food in town and cheap. For 3 people for main meal, soup, dessert and drinks we paid around €35. Beer is VERY good !!! Place is clean and quiet, people are nice and their english is good. Highly recommended!

Nice place, good food.The only problem is it is small and very popular so it is hard to get a seat. Even if you are served quickly you may not find where to seat.Also, it is a dog-friendly place which is nice for dog owners.But unexpected barks(even just a fewscared my child.

Very crowded during season. Šaltibarščiai was with meat. First time seeing that it is made like that. Not expected and disappointed as vegetarians. Portions are big, but food quality does not fit the prices. Had not tried pizzas, though. Very low on vegetarian options.

The service was quick. Friendly and helpful staff. Pizza was ok. We had fun sharing our pizza with birds in the sea.

Great place. Inside is neatly decorated, menu is in 4 different languages (Latvian, russian, english and lithuanian). Prices are normal, especially for how much food is served. Workers can also speak russian and english, anyways its a 5/5.

This time got out of the place very disappointed. Service was chaotic and unorganized. Personel runs around with food and plainly ignores the tables who comes and goes. Didnt even get to ordering the food after waiting for 40 minutes. Some tables coming long after us got served immediately while we could wave with our menus (which we also had to ask for ourselves after long wait and getting ignoredinto the oblivion. Some were also waiting with us for forever to get to the ordering even after calling to the waitresses but the lack of organization just left some people being forgotten about.P. S. We were on a terrace and we specifically asked the waitress before if it was self service as it used to like that inside but wasnt the case this time as other tables were brought menus, taken orders and served.

We ordered beetroot soup and a mushroom pizza. The beetroot soup had no potatoes with it and what really surprised me in a bad way is that inside the soup was meat (I’m vegetarian). Pizza was also not very good, very sweep sauce and cheep cheese and also had no sauce to hide the taste of the pizza. The service was awful as well, we waited very long for the bill to come. Only good thing was the cheap prices.

Been here many times, food is ok, but during busy hours its a mess. You can wait inside one or two hours or try get a table outside faster. One waitress offered a table and another blamed us for that table, she offered us to go long way where smurfs go. So we did, went elsewhere and you may take this review. I dont think I will be back, was goig to leave 3 stars, but worth 2 max. P.S. The talk was polite from my side, maybe its their culture to talk like that, but we are neighbors and I dont understand such approach.

Long wait fir the pizza, my parter got her food long time before me and when pizza finally came aha was already done with her food. Pizza was far from good.

Food werent tasty as we expected, ordered large pizza.. slow service which took 40 mins to receive it. It would have been good to describe ingredients of the pizzas. My chicken was not mentioned that include bbq sauce and had rotten tomato as you can see on the photo. I definitely not recommend it.

Fair prices, large portions and also tasty. Greek salads, Solyanka soup and chicken meetballs were really tasty, pizza was average. From place named "Doka pica" you could expect special pizza, but I would recommend to choose other dishes.

I liked it, food portions are big, even huge.. Thick pizzas you can take 1/4, 1/2 or full. Full is ok if you are very hungry, but i recommend to take some peaces of various pizzas. Thin pizza i took was really spicy, so take cola or beer also. All meal was tasty but a little to fat so keep that in mind not everyone likes that. I recommend with 8/10.

The base of the pizza was OK, but the cheese was not.The service was substandard - we had to wait in a queue for half an hour to order and pay, and then half an hour more until the pizzas came.

Really tasty salmon soup. But if you want a pancakes with meat then better bee ready for juice (wetpancakes.Its palace where mostly locals go, so I guess pica is good too.

Place runs for more than 10 years. It has big portions. Dont take full portion unless youre really hungry. Half portion will be big enough for almost two people. Service might not be the best, but not worst either. Good place for quick lunch. Prices are pretty low (3.5€ - 6€ per portion)

Friendly service. Good menu, wide variety. Air conditioning. Prices are cheap. But sadly food is quite poor. Pizza is plane and there are only few components, even no seasoning. Main dishes are not even average, big portions, bit taste is bad. Dessert was delicious.

Big greasy portions, impossible to digest (meat dishes, fries). The goulash with rice looked like vomit bowl. Probably the pizzas are better, but well never now.Atmosphere and service is acceptable though.

The place is amazing, the food there is great the atmosphere could be a bit more private but everything else is just that good. The service is fast. Employees are nice. Will defenenatly go there for seconds and thirds.

Low quality food, place is very dirty and looks like a low life eating shack but the prices arent cheap. They ask 12 euros for a pizza with meat but it looks and tastes like a 2 euro pizza. Go somewhere else to eat, not here. I dont understand why this place is so popular.

Perfect place for Portuguese people to eat. Fast, tasty, cheap, and big porcion...very good food indeed with diversity. Nice and cozy atmosfere. Lovelly space to be and eat with family or friends.

Low quality food and terrible people skills, none customer service. Pizza arrived just few minutes after we sat down with our coffee. When asked how they are preparing pizza waitress became very aggressive and defensive. Pizza tasted like it was just heated straight from freezer. Very poor customer service, Id say there wasnt any manners at all. We ordered pancakes, which were edible. Coffee was luke warm. The worst service Ive received in Liepaja.Team in front of house and back of house wearing jewellery, huge rings and necklace - where is food safety and hygiene?There are many beautiful and high quality places to visit when visiting Liepaja, I wouldnt recommend this to anyone. I dont understand from where rating 4.5 is coming from? Management should seriously train their team how to react when customers are asking about their preparation of food and/or if theyre unhappy, even if that pizza is heated from freezer.Sad..

Very tasty big portions, even half a portion is probably larger than a full one in any other place. Tastes amazing and is very popular with the locals.

Really big portions and good food and prices are not big

This is a place with old traditions, the owners work there since I remember myself and the portions are always pleasing (huge even if you order halffor a very decent price and have never changed this approach. Located right in the centre and suitable for people ready for a big yet simple meal.

I have never encountered a more rode and unresponsive staff in a restaurant in my life. They dont put menus out. You must make your choice at the counter, but given no time to make your selection, and you had better not move away from the counter with one of the three menus as this is forbidden.I pointed out from the menu what I wanted and got something completely different. If you speak Latvian and know what you want you may be ok.I will never go there again I can tell you. So disappointed and angry, particularly at the owner, who I think was the one who was the one serving me.I give it minus ten out of five.

Cheap, simple and crowdy - order by the bar place. Pizza was tasty and I saw the portions of main course being huge but otherwise nothing special... you get what youd expect for the price.

Its affordable yet might be a bit too much for an everyday lunch. The portions are large and even the small one can fill a grown-up.Seating can be a problem because all of the few tables are usually occupied.
