Dog Park @ Carnes Crossroads - Dog park in Summerville, United States
Convenient dog park, my pup enjoyed being able to run around
Was great. Had a meet and greet for a puppy to make sure he got along with my son.
Clean peaceful and fun for my dogs
I deliver in that area alot it is beautiful neighborhood. And still building more houses
My Rotty loves it and I love it because he can run around without getting dirty. I love the pebbles instead if soil. Never too crowded.
My dog loves this park, its clean and well taken care of.
My dogs did not like the rocks
We went to the dog park thinking it would be a great experience for our two dogs. That was not the case,we were there for maybe 30-45 minutes and by the time we left our dogs feet were bleeding from the gravel. Very upsetting. I hope they upgrade the dog parks to something more pet friendly.
Awesome little addition to the Carnes Crossroads community if youre a dog owner.
Nice for the dogs
So nice!
I dont know why this dog park would be on Google if its not open to everyone. You have to be a resident of Carnes Crossing to get access. Summerville needs more and better dog parks for our furry friends to run and play.
I live in CC and I hope they improve this dog park, as the current is very small and has gravel. Expanding this with turf or grass would be much more suitable.
Great place for you and your best friend to play
Outstanding neighborhood
I dont like the rocks as opposed to grass. Might be good if your dog can do the obstacles, but they really look cuter than function well. Tough space to do anything special, so I dont even know how it could be better except for the awful rocks that you have to walk on.
Weird stones, dogs dont enjoy too much
The dog park is very sterile, with gravel and no shade. There are 2 fenced areas as mentioned in previous reviews. I can’t say my dogs enjoyed it at all and neither did I. There are some agility scapes but that’s it.
I love it
Pros:-Its fenced-There is "playground" equipment for dogs to play on-It is cleanCons:-Its rather small-It looks sterile, with only sand on the ground-Its in full sun, so no place for dogs to cool offThis is not a poorly made dog park, but personally, I would choose to take my dog to a bigger park with more diversity to play in.
The dogs didn’t like that the entire area was gravel. There is no shade and not much seating for the humans.
The dog park is small, but it has two identical fenced areas, one for large dogs and one for small, each containing small hurdles, rings, and a ramp. These obstacles are nice for training. The whole area is smooth gravel, no grass. The biggest downside is there is no shade.
Great park to let your dog run free
This is no more a dog park this will be a new phase by new houses
The dog park is extremely small and just has gravel, no grass. I took my 6 mo puppy and 4 yo dog here a couple of weeks ago hoping they would run around and interact with new dogs, not the case. They did not like the gravel (would not run aroundand there were no dogs. I get that no dogs being present isnt an easy fix, but the gravel thing was a little odd. Further more, the park was super small. I had envisioned something a lot bigger with more room for the pups to run around.
Its a great neighborhood but the dog park is rather small.
