Creative hot dogs, burgers & sausages are served at this parlor with picnic tables & benches.
Food was alright, good tots. Not an amazing selection of beers, most of them were IPA. Not a lot of seating area. The only open table was really sticky on the table and seat. One big party was standing crowding around, making a couple small tables inaccessible. Guy who took our order was chill, guy who ran the food was super sweet with good vibes.
High-quality food, though I wish there were interesting, off-the-cuff styles. You have your typical chili dogs, etc. The use of Hawaiian buns was interesting, but I want more variety. Dont let that deter you from trying this place, though; I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Great Hot Dogs, Sausages and Hamburgers. Also really good tator tots. Can get them covered in chili and cheese or you can get the chili cheese on the side.
Visiting from out of town and I saw this was a hot dog place with Corndogs. My kid was totally hyped. After walking here from City Hall.... we find that its more of a sports bar.Nothing wrong with a sports bar. We ate outside and it started raining. Haha. The corn dogs were awesome.
Dog Haus is great! It has a great relaxed outdoor space and an excellent selection of food and drinks. While hotdogs are the specialty, the burgers and wings are also great. You can swap the buns if the Hawaiian rolls are too messy for you - we do. The beer selection is superb with usually 25 beers on tap. Its become a go-to hang out place for a quick bite for us!
Wonderfully chill place I love their outdoor seating! The staff were very nice and welcoming and the food was yummy too
I came during the happy hour. Price is really good, and food are fantastic.
Food was a solid "OK"...more like 3.5. Service was great but the burger could have had more flavor and seasoning. The bottom bun also soaks too much that you cant enjoy it as a sandwich, as it drips off. Im sure thats part of the "experience" but not my personal preference.
I love coming here for lunch, the atmosphere is amazing, and their service is quick.I would recommend having lunch here to allow you to return to work refreshed.
Perfect place to chill on a Sunday evening with Happy Hour to piggyback on;The sausages are wonderful too.
Updated review. Came back to give it 5 stars, cheese tater tots saved my life that night. Would recommend if you need a fix for some Dawgs with your dogs.
Great food and good service so far everytime I have been there.one of My go to spots
Great food and a nice place overall. I always try to stop here when Im in Pasadena for a convention.
They advertise themselves as a speciality hot dogs place. The restaurant is located in the Pasadena food district and has ample indoor and outdoor seating space. The menu had Beyond meat selections which was a pleasant surprise. The beer selection is decent. The food was average, could have been more flavorful for my palate. Service was fast and seating was easy.
Nice hidden gem of old Pasadena. great beer selection with a awesome happy hour menu.
Food was OK. Many Items on the menu not available. Disappointing service. This is really just a bar. Wanted shakes with meal order. Informed that the item was not available at this location. Ice tea 3+ gallon dispenser was empty and was told that they were out of bags of tea to replenish. Didnt seem to care. Suspect that if I went there today, the ice tea container would still be empty. Not going back.
They have an amazing beer selection on draft withsomething for everybodys taste. The hot dogs theyre famous for were worth it. I think it would be fun to check out their happy hour also also! There was a huge beer garden in old Pasadena . Everything was clean and the bartender was a great server
Very helpful staff! Food was ready upon arrival with no mistakes. Tasted great. Can’t say enough about how cool the staff were!
Good selection of bar food. The dogs have gotten a little smaller since pre covid but still tasty good. Beers are on tap. As everything things have gone up in price
Average everything. Usually over crowded. Bartenders are good but all other service members are useless for anything. Last place I would go for a burger but good selection of beer
Been coming here since 2017. Good food and drinks, atmosphere in my opinion has downgraded since reopening a few years ago. It use to have that bar feel with board games and great 80s music. Now it feels like a restaurant with bright lights and fewer board games. Dont change something that isnt broken.
One of the best burgers I have ever had - the bun situation is amazing. Onion rings - perfect. Corn dog - frick yes. My vegan friend enjoyed her notdog setup a lot too!
It was tasty I had the French fries with slaw on top and chili. I had two.As far as the hot dog I recommend ordering sausage instead of hot dog as your meat the hot dog was bland and sausage is better tasting and crispier texture.
2 of us ordered tots, onion rings, 2 burgers and 2 beers. Despite it being a slow night, They lost our food order somehow. I asked after 45 minutes, they apologized for the mistake.I mentioned that we’ll have a couple more beers while we wait - They didn’t even offer a couple free beers for their error. Not the best customer service. We like their burgers a lot but we’ll start going elsewhere.
This place knows burgers for guys (or gals or zwho like burgers! It was huge! It was hot and fresh and cooked fast! The dog was a bit messy but some people like that so ask for a fork! The tots were crispy and hot but no salt or anything. I would love to see some truffle and herb tots here! :)
I had the cheeseburger sliders, they were excellent. My partner had the corn dog, also excellent. The disappointment and reason for 4 stars only is the onion rings, batter was too sweet and really no onion taste at all. The beer selection was good, service excellent (we ordered at the bar), knowledgeable about the different brews. Plenty of street parking nearby.
We came here for a family members birthday party. They had catering on the patio and could still order from the venue. The wait staff were friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. They had seating inside at the bar and outside with TV’s in both areas playing sports. Several customers brought their dogs. The sliders and tater tots were good
Sooo veggie was pretty good. Friendly and quick service on a Monday evening. Metered street parking. Outdoor seating available.
The Ringer is my FAV. Their burgers on Hawaiian rolls are so delectable!! The service is always on point, and the beer list is great- $2 off during happy hour.
Terrible first time experience. Gf and I ordered the hot chick and waited a very long time just to get home and notice the chicken in the sandwich was undercooked had to throw the whole thing out. Reached out to doghaus never got a response so bad food+ bad service = never coming here again. Funny to see how you guys respond only to positive feedback.
The place is really nice wthh indoor and outdoor seating. They take your order at the bar and when its ready take your order to your seating. There is a good variety of burgers and hotdogs and an amazing selection of beers to go with them. My "little mule" burger was really good (it is spicy). I also tried the "das brat" and think it is just ok. The fries were awesome and the house slaw was average. Good service! Not so clean. Ok price.
One of the best places in Pasadena, never disappoints. Great hamburgers and brews. The Little Mule and the Hangover and the Scott Baioli hotdog are my favorites.
Oh man I ordered the impossible burger substitute and it was covered in egg, avocado, and delicious sauces. They had a wide variety of beers and the bartender staff was fun. Will definitely be back here.
Great spot to go for lunch , they have delecious burgers and dogs. I recommend the ringer for an all around American burger. They also have beer.
I went on a date last tonight at this restaurant 11/22/19 I could say the customer service was kinda poor but the food was so delicious we end up sharing our food together so worth going again.
Great hot dogs. I got the impossible dog, with no meat. Tasted great. I lived the caramelized onions and the mustard. My coworkers had beef/pork dog and a turkey dog. I didnt try them but they went on and on about how great they were.Atmosphere was pretty good. Kind of a bar type place in Pasadenawould go again for sure
Dog Haus awesome hand-crafted hormone- and antibiotic-free hot dogs, sausages, & burgers, all served on King’s Hawaiian rolls!Lots of local craft beers and a full bar.I had the COWBOYsmoked bacon wrapped dog, cheddar cheese sauce, bbq sauce, crispy onionsFront staff was friendly, the bartender was knowledgeable about the beers, provided fast service and made me feel really welcome!
Delicious beers on tap and cocktails on menu! Sweet crazy burger/dog concoctions to help you slip into a favorable food coma. Highly recommend!!
Brats, dogs, fries, and tots were all great! The prices are pretty reasonable. We had a Cowboy and Downtown plus fries and chili cheese tots. The food was ready quickly and tasted amazing.
I love this place. Unique menu at an affordable price for a night out . The drinks are so yummy!! They recently updated the inside. Looks more chain but the vibe is genuine.
I have literally never had a better hot dog. I dont know what genius realized that a bunch of Kings Hawaiian rolls would really elevate the hot dog experience, but seriously, that person deserves global recognition.
As I wasnt feeling well, I personally did not eat but, my family did. They absolutely loved their food. They said that the unique combination of ingredients used to create the dishes were on point. I would love to go back and try some of the brews and cocktails. They sounded amazing
The chilli on the dogs and the use of hawaiian rolls was very tasty. All 3 of our hot dogs were cold, but the burger and tots was warm. So they need to work on their timing. But it was very cute and clean inside and out.
Super tasty fancy dogs! Good selection of craft beers. Cute little spot tucked away on a side street. Wasnt too busy at lunchtime on a Sunday when I went.
We were so excited that Dog Haus was hosting a Yappy Hour! There were so many puppies and the food was great! The prices are extremely reasonable and the burgers and fries are delicious. We hope to visit again with both dogs next time!
Great place for a quick bite! There are seats outside and inside, but no parking (you have to park on the streets around). Prices are reasonable. Good selection of beer. The Hawaiian buns are amazing! We tried their hot dogs and the meat was really tasty, especially the special with the porchetta. Check for their happy hour.
Truly unique restaurant in Old Pasadena. Stopped here for lunch on our way from the airport to our hotel. What a selection of creative dogs, sausages, and burgers. Great selection of craft beers. Not inexpensive but worth it.I had the THAI FIGHTER ,spicy thai currywurst, wild arugula, pickled jalapeños with a spicy basil aioli , very good.My wife ordered the SCOTT BAIOLI, smoked bacon wrapped dog, cheddar cheese sauce, caramelized onions, and garlic aioli. A little too spicy for her.We had 2 craft beers and an order of fries and the bill was $ 32.59They have a very nice outside seating area.
Best hot dog Ive ever had. Very good prices and its just delicious here. Fluffy buns, great sausages and sauces, refillable drinks etc. Definitely coming back soon.
They make interesting burgers and hotdogs. I definitely enjoy the unique flavors. Their tater tots is also very very crunchy.
Great food, something for everyone. Burger was great. Bigger than I expected. My daughters chicken sandwich was huge, and tasted great. Definitely will go back next time I am in the area. Very reasonable prices.
