Great little eatery. My sandwich was excellent. Waitress was not very welcoming

I have always bragged to everyone how delicious the burgers are. I dont know what has changed but their burgers are dry and tasteless this year. I have to say their soups are homemade and delicious. And I know prices have gone up everywhere but it has become expensive to eat there. Probably wont return. Used to be our favorite place.

This is a small comfy place in Alexandria Bay with great food, drinks and very friendly staff.This was my second time here and Oh My.... Ooh Yummy!We both got the taco salad bowl and onion rings.... It Was Soooooo Good!!!On my first visit last summer, we got burgers and fries and they were also Very Good!Will definitely make this our lunch / dinner spot when up that way 🙂✌️

What a great find thanks to Google and wandering around! Small local place with delicious bar food. Group got a burger, Italian sandwich, flatbread, and soup, all had great things to say. Good line up of draft and canned beer and cocktails. One waitress working the bar, tables, and running food until her backup came but she did a great job keeping things in order in a timely manner. Will definitely be back!

Started off decent until halfway through the meal, I asked for a different drink after I finished my iced tea. I did not receive an answer but what I did receive was an eye roll. The Poutine was drowning in mediocre gravy and cheese, That would be ok if it was not ridiculously overpriced. Was hoping for a nice meal with some close friends on vacation but it was an unpleasant experience!

True locals bar with not rip you off prices. A wide variety of great food with awesome 80s music. The pretzel tasted amazing along with the sauces. Great friendly service. This is the place to go.

There was no kids menu. Were told that theyre kids menus were basically what was on the appetizer list then charged a la carte for the kids ($13)...for burned chicken tenders n fries. They ran out of sides then charged me for them anyways. Worst service ever to add to that!!!

Soda was nasty after once sip it was sent back and we were still charged for it. The veal was nasty and I didnt want it and they didnt take it off either. They ran out of Mac salad and charged for it. Not friendly and kids meal was $13!!! Definitely skip this place 👎🏼 if I could give zero stars I would!!

The fish sandwich is a large bun with fish that is maybe a quarter inch thick. You cant even taste the fish. The manager said there was nothing she could do and did not take it off the check even though we didnt eat it. The onion rings were cooked in grease that is not hot enough. They were soggy and full of grease. The roasted carrots were hard in the middle. One of the worst experiences ever. Manager does not know how to treat customers.

Great fish fry offered here. Off season, so the place closed earlier than expected. We arrived a week before the season opened.

If you are not in a rush this place is okay. I ordered a appetizer and it came out burned, it also took about 25 minutes. The main dish that I ordered was really good! However it took about 35 minutes to be ready. The service is below average but the food is good as long as it dosent get burnt. That was my experience.

My second time coming into Alex Bay’s Best Kept Secret. Stopped in with a group to friends two weeks ago and had some appetizers and beers. Came in tonight on a very rainy Thursday. Only one other couple present, and it was later, but I was able to order dinner. Poutine here is quite awesome. Bang bang shrimp is a winner. Several craft beers on tap and a very large selection of canned beers. I had a really great chat with the new owner Brianna. This place has been in her family for over 60 years. She has done a real nice job remodeling the place and updating the menu. If you are in the area, stop into The Dockside and help support this local business.

Absolutely great food at good prices with nice staff. Cute little pub for sure. Only downfall is the restrooms are in need of renovations!

Been going here for years. Maybe twenty? This is hands-down my grandmas favorite restaurant, and shes been all around the country many times.Their Reubens are fabulous, as are their taco salads. And Shirley temples and martinis.The food is great, the service is great, and the people are great.It may not have the view that other places in the area have, but there is no better place if you want good food in a good environment.Bear in mind that Ive only been here for lunches, though ive been dozens and dozens and dozens of times.Seriously, my grandma and I pretty regularly talk about how much we miss Dockside, being in Arizona.There is one downside, though: its not accessible in any way. Even using a cane would be quite a struggle in there. But theres a couple steps up, and its crowded enough that mobility aids really are not feasible except during the lulls.

Small cozy spot, staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is uncomparable to other places Ive been..... The food is definitely a 10/10. Had the Boss Burger, and the flavors are right on point. Opt in for a drink or 2 as well, to top off your experience here at Dockside Pub.❤💛💚❤💛💚

Its a combination of a diner and a sports pub atmosphere. Friendly staff. Pretty good food. Not too expensive. No breakfast menu. Great place for a bargain meal in Alex Bay.

Service is always friendly, prices are reasonable, food is fantastic. Easily top three for best fries in Alex Bay, among other things, and that is a very crowded field to compete in. The fried cheese curds are amazing, a must try.

Visiting Carthage NY from Arizona and I really liked this place. Came in for an early lunch before it got busy. Clean and a great staff. Enjoyed the layout and the food. I was told it was the best place in town for burgers and they did not disappoint!

I only went in for a pickup order, but wished I had ordered my food after getting there so I could have a few drinks. The atmosphere was incredible, 10/10 so far for me in a bay

Love this place. The food is great, and so are the staff. Its small, not many tables, but that helps with the cozy atmosphere. Would recommend if in need of a quick bite to eat

This is definitely a great place to spend the evening or for dinner. Its with in walking distance of everything on the main drag of A Bay, and the food was reasonably priced, and tasted AMAZING!!! We got take out one night and ate in the other. Their mules(different variants of a Moscow Mule), hard lemonade, and River Monster were great. Definitely not your traditional "sit down" restaurant, but for bar food look no further. It truly is the hidden gem of A-Bay.

A local said the strip sirloin was good there....wrong. it was not a strip, but just a chewy sirloin cooked with waaaay too much pepper. Huge disappointment. Dont bother with the food, stick with Beers and snacks. Dont waste your money. Waitress was good and hard working. That was worth an extra point.

The locals told us that the steak was the same quality as a Ruths Chris.... I dont think theyve ever been to one. The steak was terrible very tough and barely edible. They also put way too much seasoning on the steak so you couldnt even taste beef if it was there. The waitress was very pleasant and managed all 12 customers that were in there at once. Overall not a great experience. We will not be returning ever.

Burger was good. A little over Medium Well but still very juicy, tender, and cooked well. Call order in advance and still waited a long time to be served even after being seated. Staff seemed friendly. Not sure if there was a public bathroom or not. Nice little place to eat.

We came to this place because every other place in town was either closed or had extremely poor customer service. The food was subpar to say the least. We ordered a pizza, which had to have been frozen then burnt to a crisp in the over.. it also tasted like cardboard. We also ordered chicken fingers, they came out with 4 small pieces! Also microwaved. And a burger which was meh. Also took about 45 minutes to an hour for the food to come out. Cant expect much from a bar, but when they advertise food we would have liked to know it was trashy bar food that is only good for drunk folks. 2 stars because the waitress was nice and did an okay job.

Walked around the town for some time trying to decide on a restaraunt that hubby and I could both agree on (seafood allergy in a heavy seafood based town is toughbut could also accommodate our 7 month old. We decided to stop and try Dockside Pub so we could also watch the Yankee game. We were impressed with the Yankees, Miami and SU memorabilia on the walls. Hubby got wings, I got taco salad. Both were delicious. Wait staff was great! We will definitely be back!

A cozy, pleasant dive bar in the best sense of the word.Wide selection of beers, the usual collection of liquor, well drinks and even a small selection of wine.Surprisingly good food including healthy choices.All in a friendly atmosphere with quick service at extremely reasonable prices.

We go on Tuesday night most times cause they have the burger special. There burgers are always good and juicy and you get your choice of 2 toppings on burger night. Staff is always friendly. Would recommend it to everyone.
