Three stars: Brats was tasty hot off the grill; jalapeño polish tasted like a hot dog; and hygiene was awful. No hand washing and lots of touching of faces, credit cards, cash, etc.

Service and I like that they drilled my burger in the nachos are really good great place to sit by the beach and watch the waves while you eat

Right on the Waukegan Harbor, they grill the hamburgers to perfection. The menu includes many delicious items, you can sit right outside and enjoy!

Had a couple of great Chicago style dogs yesterday. Nice place to sit on a really nice day in March. Which does not happen a lot. Will definately be back. Hear the Italian Beef is good.

My wife had the cheeseburger and I had the jumbo dog. The cheeseburger was cooked medium well. My dog was steam. Pretty good

Nachos were perfect, doublecheese burger was great and u can go wrong with a pepsi.

The appearance could use a little TLC. Some new table and chairs would help and a new paint job wouldnt hurt. They didnt offer any french fries and I thought the prices were a little high for what we got.

One of the bratwursts we ordered was completely black on half of the link, and smelled like char.They did however have excellent cookies

Dockside Dogs is a quaint shack near the Waukegan Marina. The Italian beef was awesome, along the lines of a savory French dip.

Food here is great. View and environment peaceful too. Love going here at least a couple times a month. Love love love this place⭐❤⭐❤⭐❤⭐

Some of the best customer service I have ever received. Also the Jalapeño hot dog was the best hot dog Ive ever had in a long time. My eyes were watering from the heat Im thinking about making the drive up again just for the hot dogs and the salmon later. Highly recommend!

Great setting, convenient to grab a bite after the beach. Its good food for what it is, a dockside hut.

Delicious waffle cone and ice cream, burgers and hotdogs. Nothing like having a waffle cone 2 balls of black cherry and strawberry and enjoy it while you walk by the lake enjoying the views.

Amazing. The best, juiciest burgers ever. I love that you can put your own toppings on your own burger. First and not last place I will be visiting.

Dockside Dogs, How dare you discriminate against a man in a wheelchair that is a paying customer at your establishment! My father was at the beach, came to your restaurant to have we he still says was a delicious meal, and you told him to get off your steps because you thought he was a vagrant and not a paying customer! He needed to clean the sand out of his wheelchair wheels and you told him to use the ramp he didnt even know was their due to improper signage and to get out! You should be ashamed Dockside Dogs! I love their Chicago style hotdogs and it doesnt get any better than sitting outside by the lake to eat it. The staff was friendly and our order was accurate, hot and tasty. Ill definitely return.

On the waterfront, you can get tasty dogs and trimmings at this quaint lil cottage.Friendly fast service and you can, if weather allows, sit outside and enjoy the harborview.

This place has very good hot dogs but i would stick with hot dogs the gyros i would not touch again it was a cold sandwich when it should of bern hot or warm at best

🤠🤗🌭A small little stand thats open in the spring summer and early fall. Good dogs, Polish, Italian sausage, your chips and beverages are there also. Reminds me of the little hot dog stands my folks took me to in the 60s.🌭🌭🌭🌭✔️

Servers are always polite. The Ice cream options here are always great! A terrific way to cap off a day of sailing.

Very good hotdog joint. The kids ate all their food. Very tasty Sprite drink and good Chicago-style dogs. Self serve condiments. A little pricey at about $8 for a brat chips and a pop.

Yummy food, perfect (sceniclocation, very friendly crew. Many different kinds of coffee. And coffee close to perfection. Plenty of different syrups: vanilla, French vanilla, hazelnut, chocolate, cinnamon and coconut. Nice view for the lake and marina. Outdoor seating. Close to Joseph Conrad Polish American Yacht club. Credit and debit cards accepted. Free parking. This place is definitely highly recommended. Bring your young kids. They will love this place.

If you want a great bratwurst or a great Italian beef this is the place . Dont forget a beer to go wash down that fat bratwurst or the italian. The chicken sandwich is another great item. If you just want a great drink get the margarita or pinacolda. Mmmm.... Two of those and who needs to go back to work....Go for a walk on the famous government pier.... Take the the walk and when you get back.... itssssss Margarita timeeee. Have fun and be safe....After all they want you to come back...

Cheap and fast, I had the Italian beef and others in my group had the sausages. It is a nice spot to hang out with a group.

Great attitude good food rainy day

Pretty limited selection and not the quickest, but given that the food is cooked and served out of a closet sized space, its understandable. The view is nice and there is an ice cream shop next door. Its a great little gem of Waukegan and a great way to spend an afternoon. You can walk off the calories on the pier and visit the lighthouse at the end.

Rude owner , cold bun on a 4.5$ cheesburger . $17 for 2 plain cheesburger, one drink , one chip. There are better burger joint, many.

Love the environment, the beautiful walk, there is a sandwich shop that sells the best corn beef sandwichs and ice cream shop. MY kids love visiting.

The location and the environment are splendid. The brats and dogs are great, but the italian beefs are not too delicious. Great place for a date.
