Best place in Ljubljana. Great to meet friends, play board games, have a drink... The staff is super friendly and will always make you feel at home, they also explain every game to you, so you can play any of their thousands of games!The pub quizzes on Tuesdays are the best, I absolutely recommend them to everyone 110%!!

I entered this cafe with my friend to have a coffee and a cake. Both of us played chess and he won, I lost...They got a lot of board games, but unfortunately I dont know any of it except chess.. The girl who was doing the serving was very lovely and friendly ."Increase her wage" to the owner of the cafe.

I was blown away by the sheer awesome of the staff and the selection of board games. It was my first time but I surely wont be the last.

Really cozy and nice board game cafe! The price is reasonable, 3 euros for the whole day and as many games as you want. The game choices are great and honestly enough to keep you entertained for a long time. Most of the games are in English so tourist are more than welcomed to come play, and the staff speak very well English also. The drinks, cakes, and food are great! Lots of drink choices including homemade lemonade, beers and numerous homemade cocktails. They only have one selection for food which is a ham and cheese sandwich. Which is alright because its so cheap. Its like 1.5 euros for 2 sandwiches nicely toasted and with sauce. Overall a very chill, relaxed, and clean place. If youre looking to spend a quite afternoon playing board games with friends, this is definitely the place to go!

Great place to sit down and have a few friendly games with friends. Especially if you want to try out new games. The staff is friendly and knows the games. And should your stamina falter you can order a stamina potion (or one of the other four potions).

Absolutely brilliant. The coffee is excellent, the tea is divine, the sandwiches and cakes are yummy. They offer a lot of different beers, some very nice potion-shaped cocktails and you simply have to try their guaranita drink. But most important of all, they offer a wide range of different board games that will keep you entertained for hours on end. The staff is friendly and they help you with learning the rules to the games they offer. Such a cool way to pass the time! Go visit them, you wont be sorry.

Great place! You can rent board games and play with your friends. The staff is very helpful, if you have trouble choosing a game, they also know the games really well and can help with explaining the rules if needed. They have a wide selection of drinks and some snacks too. I totally reccomend this place. But be wary, you might completely forget about time when in there... Youre playing a game in the early evening and before you know it its 1 am and closing time :)

Great for the board game lovers. They got a large stack of board games from easy to hardcore and a guy who knows all the rules. You pay around 2 eu per game.

Great place, they have loads of board games and even an in house expert that can explain how to play the game and even make some recommendations as to which game to choose! He also speaks English so its not a problem for tourists.

This a heaven for Board Games Geeks. The place is comfy, and you pay a small fee to play board games as long as you like. The guy in charge is so friendly and helpful. He explained the board game we played and was patient to hear our questions. They have a big collection of Board Games and Card Games, covering most genres, from light party games to medium and hard core games. They also have a lot of drinks for hanging out and chilling. As a Board Games Geek I recommend this place to anyone who loves board games.

Awesome place to spent quality time playing boardgames with your friends! The demand is so high that I really recommend that you book in advance. From my experience I didnt get a reply from their email but they were very responsive on their Facebook page, so book there. The selection of games is amazing but as I think you have to pay per person if you rent their game I would suggest you bring your own. The beer selection is good and I liked the fact that the waiters knew their beer. Also the staff was very kind as they approached us when we were having difficulties understanding the rules of a new game that we decided to play and offered us help. A good place to spend your evenings with friends.

Its really nice place, with friendly staff who help you to choose the boardgame. They also explain the rules and help you to start the game.You can find there a variety of different beverages and some snacks.I highly recommend this place.

Amazing place to hang out and play board games with friends (and strangers). They have a huge collection (200+of board games to choose from. They also have a wide selection of beers to drink. The place is located in the center of Ljubljana. I highly recommend it.

Awesome place to get together with friends and play games :It’s simple, you pick a game, pay 2 € (per playerand play it for as long as you like. And they offer “fairtrade” ice cream and hot chocolate as well (if you get tired of drinking beer, wine, juice or coffee).

Great wifi. During the day and afternoon it is very quiet, chill, has good music. Really nice place to work or study! In the evenings it gets really busy with groups playing the board games which actually looks pretty cool!

Nice atmosphere bar with infinite number of board games to choose from to socialize with well behaved youth. Quite refreshing contrast to the usual teenage drinking scene. Had a nice hot chocolate but not the flavour I wanted as they have run out (at 4pm!Board games to borrow are at additional cost but you can bring your own as well.

Board game cafe that lives up to highest expectations. Great and vast selection of games, friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. Whenever we go there with friends we end up spending the whole afternoon/evening there. The cafe also offers different kinds of tasty panini sandwiches, good selection of beers and even mana potions for the ultimate geeks. Extra points for being one of the few cafes using paper straws instead of plastic ones. All in all, highly recommended!

Great place to have fun with friends or to find new friends to play a board games with. They serve tasty craft beer, have delicious cakes and good coffee. If youre planning to go go to "Dobra poteza" at the evening, especially Friday/Saturday its smart to reserve yourself a free table, since the place can be often full.

A place like no other in Ljubljana. If you want to play games (which they have a ton of), just drink coffee paired with a macaroon or get together with friends for a glass of craft beer, this is the place to go. Friendly staff, that will seat with you and explain the rules of the game when youre too lazy to read them all, cosy interior and homely atmosphere, its a fun way to spend a sunday.

This is a very, very cool place. I often go for "just an hour or two with my friends" and find myself getting home at 1 in the morning having played a lot of interesting and new games. Staff there is very nice and they will help you with any game you want (they really know a lot about every game), they have a lot of games and the collection is growing with every passing day, and the selection of beers and teas is impressive especially considered that this is not a "beer place" but rather a tabletop games lair. Prices? Reasonable, maybe even on a cheap side. Clientele is nice, every nerd will find their happines there, among our kind. :)

Definitely the best place in Ljubljana. They serve great coffee and have an almost endless beer list, including four ales on tap from Slovenias best craft brewery. Their name translates to "good move" which is the most accurate description possible. Perfect for hanging out with friends since it also boasts an ever-growing collection of boardgames.

Great and cozy even if you are there for a coffee or a glass of beer. I have to give compliments to nice staff, who are always helpfull and extremely kind. Big tables not only make for a good experience playing board games, but also give good place for bigger groups to talk (it is not a loud place). Very nice variety of beer on their menu. I recommend.

Great idea for a bar. It is meant for playing board games and they have a ton of them there. You have CodeNames, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Monopoly and a million others you havent heard of before. They have a good bar with snacks like toast and serve drinks like beer. The service is very good and kind. The only thing missing was a pizza! Board games, beer and good company is all you need for a great night out.

One of the best places in Ljubljana. Great selection of beer, whiskey and tea and, of course, huge selection of board games for everyone. Having people there to tell you exactly how to play different games is just a bonus. A must visit for all board game enthusiasts :)

Very cool and helpful game guides, immediately felt at home and the selection is huge.I also loved the vast array of local beers, this place represents its community as a gathering place of Slovenians and travellers together with a shared love of board games.

Great place to just chill or play board games. They have great selection of craft beers & games to play. The staff is awesome, if you need help deciding what to play or how to play, they are there for you!! And of course, the cakes are delicious too!!
