Great spot for both breakfast and brunch lovely atmosphere great vipes delicious food all served by friendly staff with a halal option definitely one of the top spots for your full English (halal)

I got the double stack as a side, and for my main the sourdough with seasoned avocado smash, sub poached egg for scrambled, halloumi, and a side of sujuk. It was all really good and flavorful, the avocado could use a bit more seasoning and the bread a little more crisp as it got soggy fast, but despite that 5 star for great customer service and food.

Very good brunch place.I have always wanted to try it but there is always a massive queue outside. If you gi there before 10:52 youll manage to get a place without queueing too much.Service is quick and friendly. Food is delicious with great presentation and abundant.We spent 21£ each with juices and coffees included

This has to be hands down the best breakfast/brunch place in London. Everything from the freshness of the ingredients, to the amazing mix of flavours, decor and waiting time is just superb. In the pictures youll find the pancake tacos (something Ive never seen/eatenbefore, the Medi breeze and coffee. We also had the O.M.G. and coco loco smoothie which were also great but were so hungry we couldnt picture it. I also liked the personal touch of the history of the restaurant in the menu and the fact that they buy local and support the community. Total brunch debauchery, very good value and completely worth to pay a visit. Be warned, the place doesnt take reservations but we were just like 5 minutes on queue and tbh, it makes the place more authentic. Will definitely be back!

I dont understand why this place has such a high rating. The cost of breakfast here is about the same as in a 5-star hotel, but the sausage was only alright and bacon was the same poor quality you get in far too many cafes in England. Why pay £15 (including coffeefor breakfast here when you can buy better bacon than this in any major supermarket? The waiter told me that maybe I should have asked for streaky bacon instead, but how about just not serving rubbish bacon? Everyone knows the low-grade, salty-but-otherwise-flavourless bacon I mean here and if you need reminding have a look at the picture I took. Maybe a lot of people give 5-stars because of how well the food is presented - it is all very Instagram-able - but this does not make up for bog-standard, average ingredients.

I understand why this place has almost 5 stars— the food is amazing and affordable! I mean just look at the photos! Also they had halal options available, and it’s sometimes difficult to find a place for halal brunch in London so I appreciated that a lot. It’s super easy to get to and is only a few minutes walk from Manor House.I asked for oat milk in my coffee but still had really awful lactose-intolerant reactions to the mocha unfortunately, the worst I’ve had in years, so be careful if you’re lactose intolerant like me and go for a smoothie or something. The food really is excellent though so don’t let that put you off!

The best brunch place. Just look at the food presentation! Wow. Just be there before your actual planned time. It’s generally full. You can have the table for an hour only.

Was expecting the food to be more about store then substance, but actually it was very tasty and filling. I really enjoyed it. The coffee was good too.Fortunately we came before the queues kicked in so we didnt have to wait for a table, but typically theres a big queue outside this place.They do halal options on the menu - i had the sujuk and it was so tasty

Really lovely breakfast place with friendly staff, simple but nice decor. The food was extremely tasty and the drinks were good too. Food presentation was Instagram worthy.It was also possibly to swap some items on the Signature OMG.

I mostly enjoyed my first visit to Dobar! Staff were friendly, attentive and chatty. Id say maybe its not the best place for a long catch up with friends as it gets busy in the restaurant. The only reason that I did not give my experience 5-stars is that towards the end of the meal, the staff kept appearing at my table every couple of moments, patrolling it seemed, asking if we were finished. This was stressful to be honest. I was catching up with a friend and felt pressured to leave.I visited at lunch and being the lovely place it is, its popular and queues were forming. Perhaps they could introduce a time limit for peak times and communicate this explicitly at time of entry/booking. Id actually prefer this to the frequent table inspections! I still had food on my plate when a waitress appeared (for the third time in a short space of timeto ask if I was done eating. Truthfully I was not done. Her hand was inches from my plate so I bowed to the pressure and let her take my plate away. Id still go back... for a brief visit.

Personally I would say that this place is overhyped. Yes, the plates our well presented and they make for eye catching photos for the Instagram, but the food wasn’t anything amazing. I think they could reduce the amount of fruits they put on the plate. I get that it is decorative but some don’t actually go with the meal you’re eating. The scramble eggs was a bit dry for our liking, it could have been a bit more runny. The pancakes were okay a bit cakey for us.The English breakfast was pretty good and nicely presented. Surprisingly the sourdough bread was a standout 🙈.If you do plan on coming during the weekend, expect to wait for some time as it is walk-ins only and the place gets packed fairly quickly. However the table time limit is 60 minutes so you won’t be waiting too long. If you’re coming in a large group it might be a longer wait as they don’t have many tables for big groups. The annoying thing about the conveyor belt style of getting people in and out of the restaurant is that they do kind of rush you. The moment you finish your last bite they are quick to take the plate away. I think they should give people a bit of time and space.Overall decent experience but I think the place is overhyped.

Looking at photos online, it doesn’t seem like much, but I think this place is a must-try. Having an Eastern European background, I thought the food was absolutely delicious and reminded me of what we have back home. Staff were friendly, there was no wait for us to get a seat, and service was quick. Highly recommend stopping here for brunch :)

Casual ambience with efficient service and professional staff. There was a short queue before we entered but we was quickly served. The food presentation was good and portion size matches the price.

I’ve come here more than once and can’t fault it. Great service and great food. It’s always busy so best to get there at a good time or just be lucky!Parking available on the side road and felt very welcoming. Felt like it’s slightly on the pricey side but overall experience is positive.One negative comment I’ll had, I really dislike when restaurant would split the sausage in half and say it’s ‘2’ sausages. It’s cheeky and not needed.Genuine review, would recommend.

The veggie that loved the “Vege love”!Oh Dobar let me count the ways…First things first, the coffee. We always start with quality of coffee whether it be hot or cold. The route to a good quirky review from me is the coffee, and boy did it melt my heart! Really good brew, strong with a hint of caramel. There is nothing better then an iced latte in this stifling heat. So when you go to Dobar order a oat iced latte with caramel and I promise… you will want to order two!Food glorious food! I ordered the Vege Love and I loved it! Eggs seasoned and scrambled to perfection, pancakes so fluffy and perfect I was glad to have saved them for last. I love that the pancakes came with fruit and clotted cream. Really added that extra yum factor. Not really a fan of melon so I gave that a miss but other then that was a great brunch!Dobar is tucked away breakfast/brunch spot that I would highly recommend! I went at peak brunching hour so it was rather packed, good sign they’re good. However if you don’t want to feel a little cramped then I would suggest going at a quieter hour. Just my advice if you don’t like to feel crowded.

DINE ON AN EMPTY STOMACH!! I warn you, the portions are very generous!Youll be sat elbow to elbow, but seeing all the beautifully plated food everyone is eating will just get you excited about getting yours.I cant impress how good the coffee was, when I went on a Sunday. Its been a long time since Ive had such a perfect latte, and ended up ordering two. The price is ridiculously cheap, and theres always a long queue to get in. Next time Im splitting one plate with my friend and it will be even cheaper!!

Have been wanting to go here since a year, finally got time and company.Was a good 25 mins wait but the food was really good!I had the vegan delight.They do have a range of pancakes and french toast too but this brekkie was quite filling for me and quick service.I also had a Mocha.The restaurant was full but it was quick turnaround!Great brekkie/ brunch place but less vegan options but rach category had one thing vegan.

Hand down the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Absolutely Perfect, great quality, presentation and every item cooked perfectly. Staff really friendly too. 1st class! I will be back for sure.

Where to start? The experience at Dobar is simply incredible. I am French Canadian (from Quebecand having nice breakfast is something quite common for us. Yet, I had not found anywhere in London (or Englandwhere the breakfast were actually as good as home. I have finally found that one place that surpasses every restaurant breakfast I even had. However, I really think that what makes this restaurant SO SPECIAL is the service. FINALLY a restaurant that has GOOD service. Employees actually know how to work (never seen this anywhere in London, where restaurant service is bad everywhere), they are extremely efficient AND extremely nice. They are so well organized, everything goes perfectly well. They derserve all the stars there is. If you own a restaurant, please go there to see how its done.

Very long wait time queuing outside which was expected but once seated and order was taken, we were left to wait 30+ minutes for the food to arrive as the waiter did not confirm the order in the system despite telling us it was being prepared. Food, price and atmosphere was good but the service could’ve been better.

The service is good and the prices are reasonable. The food is aesthetically pleasing, the taste was mediocre but reasonably priced in my opinion. The smoothie I had with the food was called tropical crush which was really good. The service was pretty good as well. There is normally a bit of a queue outside as the place isnt particularly big and it can get busy but they gave us some free curly fries to make up for it. Overall Id say its worth a try.

I don’t usually breakfast in north london because of previous experiences of bad attitude and really bad food. So I was sceptical when ordering from here because I feel south london has the monopoly on good breakfast and good behaviour!Well BWOY was I wrong…. A delicious breakfast, well prepared and absolutely delicious. Presentation perfect, portion size excellent. I can’t comment on the customer service because I ordered a takeaway but I will definitely be gracing this establishment with my presence very soon. Suitably and surprisingly impressed.

What an AMAZING place! We randomly decided to grab brunch here on our way to The Castle Climbing Centre and it was delicious and the service was excellent. Everything on the menu looks incredible so well definitely be coming back to try each dish. Good size portions and beautifully presented. Good coffee too. We had the Land & Sea and the Medi breakfasts.

What an amazing find!!! The staff are lovely, very friendly and attentive, the food is outstanding, the coffee is lovely, strong and smooth, free jug of water infused with mint, lemon and limewe had a traditional breakfast on our first visit, served in a frying pan, everything cooked perfectly 🥰. Second visit was small pancakes served with fresh lots of fresh fruit and clotted cream and a small jug of maple syrup 😋. Third visit was an O.M.G breakfast and it certainly lived up to its name!! Cooked to perfection and tasty, really couldnt fault anything!!!When its very busy, there is a one hour limit on the table which is enough time to eat even the biggest breakfast 🤩

The best eggs benedict Ive ever eaten. Cant wait to go back and try some pancakes. Service was polite and attentive. Coffee on the other hand needs improvement. Tasteless, watery and too big for a flat white. Well, I cant get all the best things in one place I guess, lol.

Delicious breakfast - great variety from traditional brekki to American pancakes. Value for money- a place which has endless customers yet still maintains a 5 star customer service really speaks volumes! Staff are exceptionally lovely and helpful.

Went with my friend today for lunch and coffee, we waited outside for a short while in a small queue before we were given a lovely window seat. It’s quite small inside with a good atmosphere, very busy, very clean and lovely decor. The service was friendly and very quick. Loved our food and will definitely go back to try some of the other delicious dishes we saw others having. 5⭐️

Absolutely fantastic breakfast and brunch, especially the Pancakes and the English breakfast, definitely worth visiting. Everything on the menu has halal alternative which is great. The service and customer service is great as well, would definitely visit again.

Love this place great staff and great food. Its quite small but you never feel crowded. It does get busy so you may have to queue outside but the staff are always working to get you a seat.

Was amazing till we had the fruits on the pancake wasnt washed had a fly on the strawberries dirty cranberries!! at the start staffs where friendly as soon I mentioned the fly the way they changed their attitude 😖😤 no one including the manager came to apologise bad customer service this ruined it will not be going again

*Could not recommend Dobar enough!*This small, tucked away breakfast and brunch spot is literally a hidden Gem. Prices are incredible, staff are great, and most importantly....the food is fantastic as always. A few pics of my meals below.Point to note: the ques are long. This is a fair warning, but its worth every minute waiting. If you have a savoury tooth or sweet tooth, theres something for everyone at Dobar. 10/10 would recommend.

The place is slightly on the smaller side, however the service and the food over shadows all the negative things you can think of.The food was delicious. For full whack, £13.50, it really does fill you up.The drinks are absolutely refreshing. I had the tropical smoothie. My 1st sip was wow.Definitely recommend to anyone for mixture of food, fruits and chocolate.

This is next to my new office and I have been eyeing it up for a few weeks. I finally went for lunch today and absolutely loved it. Hot and delicious flat white, and the most amazing lunch/ brunch (medi platter). The food was delicious, the presentation was perfect and the portion super generous. I loved the feeling of the place - packed with truly diverse locals enjoying their wonderful food. Service was friendly and warm. I loved it and can’t wait to go back. Was touched by the info about the owners and their mission on the menu!Edit: went again and had smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs and bacon and a lovely side salad. It was delicious and good value. Lovely coffee, excellent service, lovely atmosphere. 5 stars again!!!

(Desserts are various pancakes).Its so popular for brunch that there is often a small queue outside.

Birthday brunch back in august - Amazing food, portions, prices - simply amazing!!!!!I cannot get over what a bargain this place is! Very high quality food, beautiful presentation, great service. You just cannot go wrong. Will most definitely be back to try the French toast!The only negative is really to do with how cramped it feels, they are super busy and do get queues and it sort if feels they try cram in as many tables as they can! We went on a Thursday lunch and it was heaving!! As it was my birthday brunch we did try book ahead but they don’t take bookings (which to be fair I can understand given the demand they have there is no need!). One thing that did really impress me was how great service was inspite of how busy they were!

Excellent customer service. Was greeted and seated as we entered the cafe. Breakfast was just mouth watering. I’ve always dine at Cafe East but i have found a new favourite.Presentation 5* Pancakes freshly baked , fruits were so fresh you thought they were freshly picked, clotted cream tasted so fresh ,spinach was so fresh and tasty and last but least avocado sprinkled with pomegranate was so flavoursome.I was informed that on weekends you might encounter a queue for about 20mins . I’ve only visited midweek .It’s a small cafe but comfortable seating.Highly recommended

Great place to go for breakfast/brunch. Presentation of the food was so pretty and cute. Everyone was staring at the taco pancakes when they came to our table. We had to wait about 10 mins to be seated as we were a group of 3. Less than 1 minute walk from the station. The staff were very friendly and polite. Loads to choices on the menu, healthy options too and a wide variety of extras to add on to any dish. Would definitely recommend.

We were seated down really quickly as there was no waiting.The staff were all very happy and smiley.The food arrived really quickly, all fresh and hot. Looked very appetising and beautiful on the plate.I loved the little tea pots with the cup and saucer. 😊I really enjoyed the breakfast that I ordered with the French toast and halloumi cheese.Definitely will be going again.
