1 Avenue Narvick, Yaounde 2659, Cameroon, Yaounde
This relaxed hotel is an 11-minute walk from historical exhibits at the Blackitude Museum, 2 km from artefacts at the National Museum and 6 km from Yaoundé Ville Airport.Warmly decorated rooms provide free Internet access, satellite TV and sitting areas. Suites add separate living areas. Room service is available. An airport shuttle is complimentary. Other amenities include a colourful restaurant/bar, a casino with a nightclub, and 7 meeting rooms, as well as an outdoor pool, an exercise room and a sauna. Parking is available.
Djeuga remains one of the best hotels in the nations capital of Yaounde, however the service isnt of the best. The waiters, especially the fameles dont speak English and more, they are tempestuous.
The club is a nice place to have fun in center of Yaoundé
The hotel is not bad but the staff is extremely unfriendly, especially Claudia and Christian. It was the first time in my life that i see a two hosts room who are allowed only one breakfast, and they didnt told us until we finished the breakfast and they brought the invoice. We agreed with them to not take the next breakfast to compensate, which they agreed to. When checking out, they changed their mind, we paid and didnt even take the breakfast, they can keep it for themselves, i highly advise people to pay attention, otherwise you will be fooled.
Always relaxing and very nice service
A 4 star hotel in the heart of Yaoundé with many amenities you would come to expect such as pool, restaurant, multiple conference halls, rooms and suites. The staff are welcoming and receptive. Overall my stay was good and ok for the price.
Stay was good except that am an english speaker and the receptions knew french. Challenge was very few receptions knew english but the service was ok
A little bit better.
It was so marvellous to attend the seminar in DJEUGA PALACE a 4-star hotel with all that someone will like to have in a Hotel 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Djeuga hotel is a nice place not too bad as compared to la Falaise Hotel just around Djeuga
Worst service. Thats normal for Cameroon
Breakfast selection could have been better considering price. Internet connection and speed should be improved. I would not recommend any rooms facing street with night club - music is very loud and runs in some days until 05:00 am.
Old dated Hotel, running water was bad, nDidnt refill water bottles. Avoid
Cool!Not bad
A big hotel graded at 2 stars located inthe hearth of the political capital
Cool, chill and good
Spacy bed room and bathroom good , but wifi weak some rooms, refugirator broken, water leaked in bathroom, breakfast not included and expensive as 11,000 cefa. it is not worth for money especially for long stay , so i moved to other cosy hotel.
Good, there is new rooms and old ones.. the new rooms are clean, large with all necessaries... the matelas should be improved...
Conformable beds. A bit of noise from nearby places. Overall it was a good experience.
Great view of the city from where I’m standing
Wonderful place. Its also possible to chair great meeting there
Was greatWelcome staff,Amazing hostComfortable and beautiful meeting hallAnd oh nice food (snacks)
Nice place to stay. Unfortunately wifi not stable
Terrible room conditions. Super basic for a hefty price tag and mould all over the rooms on 7th floor. Where its not full of mould, its full of mediocrity. Wouldnt recommend.
The Service here was really great as the waitresses were all well mannered and polite . From the reception the cleanliness and details are so impressive . Well Secured and calm place. Well unfortunately i saw the meals as too expensive compared to what you expect on the plate . Except their high prizes the place remains outstanding.
Very nice place with security at the entrance 😀 especially screening of Covid!!! Bravo
A heartbroken customer service for a first visit is not something to like or recommend to someone else. I was embarrassed by the security personnel at the hotel who said that English is not spoken there and was forced to speak French. Never again shall I recommend that hotel to anyone or think of using it for anything.
- No shampoo in the room, only soap available, they said that there was no more shampoo in the hotel (4 star hotel!!).- No one cares about you, not even the managers.- I have to give credit to the food at the restaurant, it is very nice. BUT not the service, specially the Maitre d’hotel. When his colleague made a mistake on my bill and he insist on me to pay what i didn’t drink, while he knew i didn’t order the drink and even sent it back! He was upset instead of apologizing for the mistake they made and what is not acceptable, he was rude!! He must learn how to make a service recovery or at least apologize for the mistake and not make it worse.- They will try to charge you for anything they can and it is expensive. I asked for a small bottle of water in my room, they brought me a big one with a bill to pay.- Greedy hotel and not enjoyable.
I ordered Beef Steak, well done, with plantain, it came medium rare, bit it was still great, ate all of it, I just prefer not seeing red on meat I am eating. Huge serving, to my standards, great service. Sauce was fishy¿? Maybe had fish sauce?
High level hotel, professional employees, food quality, nice and restless place in the center of the town
good breakfast. spacious rooms with a bath and good comfort. Working safe and wifi. limited menu. spacious bar and nice court with swimming pool...in the center of Yaounde.
Nice place to rest. The rooms are very confortable. I am just wondering about the security since there are some doors always opened at certains floors.
Beautiful hotel with a nice bar and seating area beside the pool. Great access to other parts of Yaounde since its in the heart of town. A bit expensive though and some refurbishment needed to justify their room cost.
I would call it a 4star hotel. It has good and big air conditioned halls for weddings, conferences, etc. Rooms are luxurious a d it has a night club in the basement
A reasonable place to stay in Yaounde with full bar, restaurant and spa. Cleanliness and maintenance are not fully up to Western standards. About 100 Euros per night.
For a 4-star hotel, the hotel needs some serious upgrades. My room possessed a leak in the closet, the origins of which I could not determine in my week-long business trip visit. This leak resulted in my clothing becoming moist. The water pressure is very weak and makes showing cumbersome, vice relaxing. The overall room appearance and atmosphere is dark and gloomy. The television does not work and the WiFi was horrid. The shining light of the stay was the breakfast, as it was superb. I really enjoyed the breakfast. I would recommend more variety, as in the seven nights I was there, it was the same food but overall a good breakfast. The hallways are dim and dark and should also be upgraded.
Clean Rooms, spacious facilities, poor service. The staff have a great deal to learn on hospitality and customer care.
Very exclusive place, the standard and the confort are on point in this hotel, and the service is so royal, I love all my stay there.
Djeuga palace is one of the most classic hotels in Yaounde. It is accessible and found at the heart of the town. It has modern electrical systems and good rooms
This hotel is basic compared to standards in Europe or the USA. Hygiene could be improved. Dead mosquitoes on the room wall where not removed since weeks. Location is good. Food is OK.. Tipping of staff expected. Staff very responsive to requests. If you like nightlife, this hotel is a good choice, as there is an all nightclub and casino in the basement. There is also a 24 hour bar. The nightclub can be noisy till the early morning hours. Hotel felt safe, with a metal detector at the entrance.
One of the worst hotel i have ever been. Welcome is not good and when this ladies are washing toilets while murmuring ever before clients. They should be removed 2 stars and become 2-star hotel.
A very difficult situation to be in if you cant speak French. The staff are not so fluent in English and so communicationcan be a challenge. The food served at the hotel is very local with no variety. Same food served throughout the day. The atmosphere is OK catering to a mix of clientele.Poor Wi-Fi and the rooms are average.
Central Location and easy access to any where around the town. Polite staff, interesting breakfast but noisy at night resulting from the basement night club
Considered to be good hotel but my experience is worst for a single night......!!!!AC is not at all working and i have to spend all night awake....no fixed price and they have charged me 180 Euro for that sleepless night...😏😏
Rather then puting money on casino and bars try to improve the quality of Airconditions in the hotel room, I was sweeting at night. Hotel rooms are breeding mosquitoes.I am really surprised because the hotel which is charging 15000 INR per night is not able to maintain basic requirement which ensures good sleep for customer at night.Hospitality is also not up to the mark and staff at reception is not friendly. There are other good places to stay at yaunde but not this hotel.
Shaping Cameroon had its first edition here and the hotel all to accommodate both wheel chair person and those benefiting of all their abilities.Djeuga Palace has a clean but mid size swimming pool and a trust worthy staff.
Good Hotel. Staff is helpul. Good place for having Office Conference. Proper facilities for that. Neat & clean. Ambience is good. Restaurant is mainly Buffet based. Though a small Menu Card is available. Quality is fine. Specially Capitaine Fish Grilled. Located just near Marche Central. 5-7mins walk. Overall a good experience.
Very rude front desk staff. Location is great but better avoid for the poor service. I reported a leakage in bathroom just to be told I have to take shower gently
Its a decent hotel. Its a little pricey, but the meals are good. The internet experienced some seizures the one night I was there.
very expensive, dirty-traces of dried wee on the toilet, very slow service throughout the hotel, rims of wash basin that you would not dare to touch, base from hotel disco that can be heard up to 5th floor at 3am on a Wednesday night. VERY POOR
Front office staff not friendly at all! Other staff are friendly, food is good. No coffee/tea maker in the room, mini bar not working. Upgrade the towels please.
