Seeing the other reviews it’s safe the consensus is the customer service is bad. However, from my personal experience it’s pretty good. Like I ordered on Deliveroo and as it didn’t specify if you want a sizzler fillet I called up and asked for it and the guy was calm about it.So the food itself...I’d give the burger (double deckera 7/10 it was pretty good but compared to the dixys in Birmingham (where I liveit was lacking a little.The strips were definitely a 10/10. Probably some of the best dixy strips I ever had.Fries were probably a 5/10 edible but not for me.BBQ wings probably a 6/10 not bad but again not for me.
Its good but sometimes order takes longer to come once ordered fish it was not what I expected it was waste of money my advice please dont buy fish from dixy
Terrible service, claims to be cash only restaurant despite taking Just eat orders etc, food old, reheated, double fried. Wings were solid and dry, chili sauce full of vinegar. Ordered two spicy coated burgers, instead received two burgers, with the same vinegary chili sauce instead. Not a professional outfit, will never return - spend your "cash" elsewhere!
Poor customer service staff look miserable the guy pulled a face when you get my food this is how you lose customers d*** heads

This place has really dropped in standards, the main guys have moved to eatigo and some ganduuus are running this place … few staff here are decent but based on so many negative reviews and complaints on their service the owner needs to get a drum stick and stick it on their gaaaand with chilli sauce on and maybe some mayo and then fries and donner to follow and then maybe some jalapeños… that might sort em out
On 04/02/22, around 15:30. Assistant at till extremely unfriendly. Short young lad. Wasn’t listening properly when I ordered. The amount to pay seemed smaller than I had expected. I told him, I was either undercharged or he had put the order incorrectly. He replied that I had said one instead of two. When in fact he was distracted while taking the order.Not my first run-in with him. Has an attitude.I have been a long standing customer. Customer service is definitely going down.Management, are you listening ?
We had the party bucket. ordered 8 pieces of chicken with 4 chicken strips 4 fries and chicken popcorn. When we got home in rugby and opened the bucket inside there were no chicken pieces only strips and popcorn with fries. there were 8 strips instead of 4 and more popcorn than normal. wasnt pleased with this, not what we ordered. the taste of the chicken strips bumped it up from 1 star to 2 stars. hopefully next experience is better if i decide to try again.

I would give 0 stars if I could and I am completely appalled at the customer service or complete LACK of!!Me and my cousin just placed an order today around 7pm and food came just before 8pm. We ordered some chicken fillet burgers which came fine (except I did ask for extra chilli in my burger and this wasnt there, but thats the least of my issues concerning this order ), 1 portion of peri wings mild flavour, and 6 packs came that were extremely spicy. Additionally 3 x fried chicken strips meal and these NEVER came. We were trying to feed our kids who were waiting for these strips. However. these never came and the wings were soo spicy that none of them could tolerate even 1 wing, we all have poorly children now that are gasping for water and eyes and noses watering. As soon as we realised the order was incorrect we rang and the guy at the till was extremely rude and would not offer any resolution or support for this ERROR. His exact words were "not my problem". I explained that we have all these kids who need to eat and we just spent £42. I asked to speak to the manager and he refused me this and cut me OFF MID sentence ! My whole family come here regularly but after this experience, we will not be coming back! I want someone to get back to me and I want to understand how you train your staff about customer service, even just basic etiquette. I cannot believe how rude he was on the phone and to even cut me off. Is this what the Dixy franchise represent???

Very rude staff inexperienced dirty smells staff csnt soeak english threathening to hit me as i asked for chilli on my chips feel very intimidiated will be reporting this to the police and trading standards and will.also be reporting them to food regulations
Foods generally good, BUT, they always get the order wrong. Masala fish on rice seems hard to understand, even if you order in the shop or online, always comes out or gets delivered as masala fish on chips or something else, its bizarre 🙄

What a joke of a company ordered food with no tomato and get it 2 times in a row I went without last time but this time I asked for my money back as I am saying no tomato in the notes obviously to lazy to look was ordered by just eat also phoned shop and they said we will drop tomorrow Im so annoyed most definitely will not be ordering from you again.

Been there very slow service untrained staff wait by counter 2minuts they were talking about betting shops bla bla then still I have to call someone to give order and they serve uncooked frise and to much salt on frise little 1 doesnt like it never gonna order from this branch again
I have order New York burger meal. It should come with meat, cheese, mushrooms, spicy peppers, onion rings, saladt, tomatoes. There was just meat and onion ring inside. I did call them and I really unpleasant guy tried to tell me that this is my mistake bacause I did not write what should be inside. Really dissatisfied.
this used to be my go to ,but after 3 messups and poor customer service on various occasions i will avoid from now on. this place has really gone down hill. poor/cold food and terrible customer service on more than one occasion. avoid is my honest opinion
Bought some grilled wings recently and they were not fresh and they had a funny smell and taste. Noy planning to buy again!
I went to the shop to get my food & when I entered 2 drivers were there with no mask on & there food delivery bags were on the chairs & full of dirt & 1 driver went out & when he come back he straight went on till & touching the food without washing his hands when I told the staff they laugh, they thought its ok to do this, I really get upset & i paid for food but didnt eat.I will never go back again but owner of the shop is good guy he should look into this matter & tell his staff about hygiene.
Good boys! Only one siri lankan man is very rude he really need to go to school 🏫 to learn Etiquettes as he shows bad behavior with fierce facial contortions. Not nice is it? People come to the shop and pay customs this how these boys get paid and boss would save money and having lush lifestyle 😤 isnt? If anyone from staff not being nice with 1 customer that customer will tell few other eventually dixy will have bad ratings and amid business might get affected. Ordered through Uber eats because we had a 50% off voucher. Ordered just after 3pm. Given an estimate of between 3:30 - 3:55. Didn’t arrive. Called them at 4pm, was told that it had left. Then the time on app changed to between 4:10 - 4-30. So clearly it hadn’t left. It arrived around 4:20! The whole bag/box was greasy, no problem since it is fried food and if they packed it straight after they are cooked then it is expected.We ordered a meal for 2 which consists off 2 chicken burgers, 2 fries and 4 pieces of chicken plus 2 drinks. The options was either Coke or Diet Coke. We chose DIET COKE. BUT we received PEPSI LIGHT, not a problem but they shouldn’t offer it if they don’t have this brand.The chips and burger was ok as was the chicken pieces, just a bit greasy like KFC. We also treated ourselves to apple pie. They are the same size as the ones in McDonald’s. When we went to tuck in, these are in fact DEEP FRIED. Which was a disappointment.Overall I wouldn’t go back again. Because we didn’t enjoy this too much. Plus the delivery is more expensive than most places.
Food is great but they are scammers. They sign up for Eat out to help out scheme but they will tell you collection only so they can charge you full price and then also claim 50% off the government. Also 1 guy at the counter is extremely rude and does not appreciate loyal customers at all. They will laugh at you at your face when you make special requests I.e wanting a particular sauce. To them we are all a bunch of idiots.
Great food best Ive tried in coventry for great price service is ok and reliable delivery service 90% of time with mostly free delivery and online discount if you order directly from dixy website and not just eat website as I guess they must take commission for the order.June 2020Gone a bit expensive hence rating gone to 4 stars.
Ordered at 6.30pm from here via Uber Eats! Rang up at 8pm to he told it would be here in 5-10 minutes! Rang up at 8.30 to be told theyd ring me back in 5 minutes once they had spoken to the delivery driver! No phone call back so I rang back up at 9pm and man on phone was very rude and told me the uber driver wouldnt answer his phone so he had no idea where my food was and said hed cancel the order and hung up on me! Shocking Customer service , AVOID!!! Only gave 1 star because it wouldnt allow me to put zero stars!!!!
ONE OF THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!WOULD HAVE GAVE 0/5 STARS!! but have to put one to make the review.I made an order 9/4/20 and requested for a supreme wrap meal with ketchup and mayo but the order had chilli instead of ketchup. I called to let them know I did not request chilli but ketchup. The guy I spoke to on the phone had said call tomorrow as they are closed now. So I did not eat the food and waited for the next day. I called and spoke to which sounded like the same guy and he knew straight away what I was referring to. I requested for a new meal as I did not eat the one from the night before and he then got rude and said he can’t do nothing. I requested a refund and he got rude further telling me he’s not the manager and to call the manager. I requested for him to do this as it was not a fault of my own and then as I requested for his name he said they’re closed. Then I requested for the managers number and he hung up.It’s not about the money but the principle of fixing what they messed up. I guess they care more about the money in the till then custome satisfaction.
Orderd food didnt receive full order when i phoned them up to explain the gentleman just argued with me untill another gentleman took the phone off him and said he will send the missing items stright out. Clearly they saw the missing food still sat there. Worst customer service.

Very delicious lamb Donner, peppers , onions , special sauce and fries. Also, Peri Peri grilled chicken comes with fries and coslaw + drink ( half chicken 5.99). Peri-Peri grilled chicken breast burger meal is also a must , these are my 3 regular orders. There are also other great meals such as grilled wraps or sizzler boxes with any side order of your choice. 👌👌👌👌👌👌
Nice place to have take aways and even eat in. Food is delicious. Nice wraps and chicken boxes. I will recommend Sizzler chicken box and piri piri wrap. The prices are reasonable. Nice and friendly staff. Parking may be an issue during daytime but there parking available within couple of blocks in either direction.
The food is amazing really tasty much better than a certain American chicken (mentioning no names lolthe food is always hot when delivered its my favourite takeaway, the delivery drivers and staff are very friendly helpful and polite, a real treat youre mad if you dont try it.
Ive just had Dixys BBQ Chicken Pizza and I thought that it was amazing as the flavour of the sauce was just right not to tangy or too sweet. However, the fault to find was that they did add too much sauce which overpowered the flavour of the chicken on the pizza.Overall, I did really enjoyed the pizza and it has been one of the best BBQ pizzas I have ever tasted.Thanks Dixys.
Its a good fast food chain. Didnt really like the oil they used but over all it is acceptable keeping in eye the amount you pay is very nominal.
Staff is rude food is good. I asked for grilled fish and person told me that it will take about 10 mins. After about 20 mins it was still not ready. I asked again and person said "about" which our asian people normally miss. He mentioned the time to the person making the fish. He was even rude. He replied there is no complaint system here, return back the money. Even i end up paying 20p per sauce at the end which is normally free.
The rudest most disrespectful staff members. When the man at the till offered a women a choice between sweet chilli and hot chilli, I asked for the sweet chilli when my order was finished and he proceeded to say "we dont have that, if you want it that will be £1,50 then." I asked him " £1,50 just for the sauce?" And he gave me the most disgusting look and threw my order on the floor next to the door as he walked away to the back. Never been disrespected so much in my life, expected a little more respect after paying for £35 worth of food for my family.
The experience is utmost bad. We ordered the food for delivery and waited around 2 hrs. When we call back, they mentioned they came and went back.They were asking for the mobile number again. (That means they never came). There were rude to us while we asked to do the delivery. Bad customer approach.My rating is 1.5/10.Highly not recommended.
