Film-centric theme park with thrill rides, a laser light spectacle & TV- & movie-based shows.
Fun place with great experience oriented rides, integrated with simulations. Our teenage kids lived their rides there, especially the Start wars rise of the resistance. The rock and roll was a nice roller coaster ride, mostly in the dark. The tower of terror was another ride that the kids really enjoyed.
Very fun park! A bunch of things to do and eat and although there was a lot of people visiting, restaurants and snack lines moved quickly. Very friendly and helpful staff. I recommend buying the Lightning Lane for the Star Wars attractions because it can get very time consuming. But the Rise of the Resistance attraction is well worth it!
We loved it more than Magic kingdom. Beauty and beast show is highly recommended. Lightening McQueen show also was great. We enjoyed our day.STAR WARS SECTION IS A MUST SEE! I am not fan of star wars but I fell in love with it. So much details and work all over the park. Staffs were so friendly and helpful.
We really enjoyed the park, but had to leave early on several days because of the crowds. In May it was so packed, we couldnt stand it much longer. Star wars day was amazing, despite the crowds. Galaxys edge is definitely the highlight of the Park, super immersive and it has incredible rides! Toy story land was cool too, but there was hardly any shade, we almost suffered a heat stroke. You couldnt sit down or take a break anywhere.
Such a fascinating place. The cost is relevant, but coordination is key.Rides and shows are the big sell.Indiana Jones stunt show is a fascinating visit for anyone into films. The best ride in the park is Star Wars Rise of the Resistance. If you want food plan way ahead or go mobile order.Bathrooms, Parking, and Service are stellar. If anything can be improved for rides it would be padded standing areas where lines are plus more seating areas where there are slow lines. If anything can be improved for food it would simply be more options. So many people in one place is incredible and they do it great.
Hollywood Studios was Great. My 2 kids (9 and 17enjoyed every moment especially the Star War Attractions. We were unable to ride the Slinky Dog due to rain. Otherwise its was great. We ride all the rides with the lightning lane . Well worth the extra cost.
Still a great park.Toy Story Mania is a surprisingly great ride. Its so much fun and challenging. More game than ride. But the theming inside is amazing.Of course Galaxy s Edge is incredible. Rise Id the Resistance is worth the wait. The Millennium Falcon ride is fun but way too short.Interestingly, Star Tours has been updated and is a slightly different experience each time.
Love going to Hollywood studios! Anyone who loves Star Wars should go at least once. Enjoy all kinds of Star Wars rides and also Toy Story rides. Recommend doing the Slinky Dog roller coaster at night because the track lights up then. A fun place to spend all day and possibly see characters from the movies.
At this point it doesn’t feel magical anymore. We didn’t stay on resort so we missed out on the early lighting passes and on top of that the rise of the resistance was was closed in the morning. The stars wars area was impressive and immersive as you would expect. The restaurants even had plant based options for food.We spent most of our time waiting in line. It was over Labor Day weekend so it was packed for sure. The new rules on the lightening passes means you book 2 in the morning and then at 1pm book 2 more and you can’t do the same ride twice. There was EV charging close to the door and they were not listed on my google maps.So in summary if you are gonna come here and have a better experience then follow the Disney doctrine and spend the extra money.
This place is definitely full of fun and games. Its really a great experience to be here.wear comfortable shoes! You will walk a lot. So much fun to be had here. Love the fact that the parks are separated. Went to Disneyland in California and it always felt not just crowded but over crowded. While there are still long lines we had a blast. Love all the attractions and how majority of the staff are super friendly even after these long crowds. Loved Galaxies Edge. Can’t wait to go back.
This place is so fun. If you’re a Star Wars fan it really is a must to go see Galaxy’s Edge. Nothing like turning the corner and seeing a life sized Millennium Falcon. The rides are amazing. Rise of the Resistance can be problematic. I barely got on at the end of the day. It tends to break down but come back up fairly quickly. But if you’re a fan you need to experience it! Tower of Terror is still amazing. Mickey and Minnie runaway train was fun. Didn’t get on Slinky Dog. Line was crazy. I’d recommend the Genie pass if you are able. Definitely helps you save time and get on rides faster. And wear comfortable shoes! You will walk a lot.
Was such a cool experience. Its definitely mostly visual. The star wars "galaxies edge" part of the park was my personal favorite. They do a great job making it feel realistic. The rides were not typical rollercoaster rides. Obviously theyre more for kids but they all have a theme. Overall it was really fun, however its a park that you really only have to visit once due to how small it is.
Awesome park! Indiana stunt show is still here and Fantastic! Star Tours is updated & Galaxy Edge has been added to the back of the park.Lines can get long for a lot of the rides so use the Disney app to check times. You can use the single rider line for Smugglers Run to cut down on the wait time dramatically but be aware cast members will not guarantee a ride together with friends. This park is small you can walk all the way around it in 30 min or less. They definitely need more rides in the park and should expand Star Wars Galaxy edge.Rise of the Resistance is super fun. If you have time to wait in line dont miss this ride.
Awesome time at Hollywood Studios! Rides are amazing, restaurants are great, shopping is lovely. Wait times for rides can be long - Star Wars Rise of Resistance ride not worth waiting 4 hrs, so if wait time exceeds an hr I would recommend other rides. Star Wars area makes you feel like you are visiting a movie set! We had a brilliant time! Everything at Disney is just on another level of wonderful! Customer service is excellent.
For adults had a great time! It was summer and weekday so most rides were 30 to 90 minute wait. There is some shade in some queues waiting to get in but take plenty of water and a hat just in case. It was also one of the hottest days of the year. There was no way to get into the park but he tried had some weight
The wait times were horrible. Even with genie+ service, the wait times were more than 1.5-2 hours for the exclusive rides. There were bearable lines for the other exhibits. The star wars section is pretty big and interesting. We loved it. There’s cars - lightening McQueen show for kids. It’s nice and great way of story telling. There’s toy story land and there’s a ride inside. It’s so much fun. They have grenade shaped bottle for coke was very interesting to have.
The park is a lot smaller than I thought but its a great park for older kids and adults. It rained off and on so much that we cut our visit short. The Star Wars ride was my favorite. The tower is fun too but I had to hold my 13-year-old down.I would definitely visit again.
This park proved to be a lot more that expected. I assumed it was a small strip of stores and eateries to capture tourists wishing to purchase collectibles. Not only was it that, but there were so many awesome rides and hiding gems! The places to visit are definitely Star Wars and that very scary hotel ride 😱 (very spook). The Beauty and the Beast live play was a joy to watched. The audience was quite immersed in the experience. Recommend bringing a snack and water to savor during the play.
Disney really hit the nail on the head with this theme park! We had the best time walking around the different themed sections. The rides were so well done in the star wars area. It was just like we were in the movies! We also real
Let me start by saying I was a huge fan of Disney until 5/21/23. Prices were increased on every thing. Preferred parking went up from $30 with free water bottles upon park entry to $50 without free water bottles.Once you pay for the Park of your choosing and enter the park. The majority of the rides are between 30 to 80 minute wait. Often the ride will be closed and the the park has this disastrous app called the Genie lighting pass $15 per person to skip the line, but here the loop hole here is you have to reserve a time frame to be able to skip the line for that ride of your choosing!!!Now if for some reason the Park feels the need to close the ride you won’t know your reservation was closed and automatically you are bumped to a much later time frame!!! The dining reservation process is a complete total disaster. Staff at the Hollywood restaurant were unfriendly at the front desk but did notice I was treated differently based my race over another race. I paid $70 for the photos which none of them had the enhancement I was told it would bring. I reported the issue and was told I needed to wait 24hrs for the photos to update. 72 hrs later still nothing! What I did like was the Star Wars outpost and the Dark side show by the stormtrooper’s. Complete total waste of time and money and trust me I spent money $$$$. Expect to pay between $109 to 250 per ticket/per person depending on what Disney feels what day is “FAIR”! The park reports the more days you go the cheaper it is! I have been to all the parks and in my opinion it’s not worth it. Nevertheless, you need to experience the park for yourself.
One of my favourite parks, with one of my favourite rides. I love the Tower of Terror. I managed to get a Lightning Lane to experience The Rise of the Resistance. Im not really up in Star Wars but enjoyed the whole thing. Excellent new technology on a very interesting ride.
Love the Tower of Terror!! Has always been and still is one of my favorites. The inside of the hotel, the story, decor and the actual ride. Love it.Star Wars Rise of the Resistance was great, I didnt know what to expect next. The decor and props in the Star Wars section were amazing.Indiana Jones is still a great show. Walking around with the feel of old Hollywood still feels amazing.
What an amazing experience! Yes Disney is a must! They may say the magic is now gone, but to someone who has never been...it is definitely a beautiful and fun experience! Every detail to rides or scenes was completely thought out! I cant wait to go back! The parades at Hollywood Studios were my absolute favorite!
Trace-like perfection as you enter the Star Wars part of the park. Lifelong fans will feel a heavenly presence! Employees in this part are the absolute best- kind, spirited, fun. I could soak it up all day. Loved being initiated into the resistance. Light the fire!
Always have a great time visiting Hollywood Studios despite the crowds. The attractions are a blast and there are some fun, unique dining experiences throughout the park as well. Excited to announce that the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Show is finally back in operation after a long closure due to the Corona virus pandemic global shutdown.
The park was well organized and wait times were very reasonable. They do a great job of managing traffic even at the new Star Wars portion of the park which is very popular. The new Star Wars, Rise of the Resistance, ride was so impressive and engaging, and thats coming from a theme park connoisseur...! In all seriousness this was probably the most realistic and emersive rides I have ever been on. ✅️💎 WOW 💎
What can I say about Hollywood studios that you probably don’t already know?! Not much right!!!! Well that won’t stop me from telling you it’s one of the greatest places ever!!!! If you are a STARWARS FAN this one’s for you!!! So much centered around the move and themes you’ll love it, fun for all ages literally, every where we went they told me daughter happy birthday!!! You get a free pin at the front just ask, and they’ll be happy to. Lines weren’t long to get in however I definitely recommend the lightening pass as it makes your life much easier for those 150 min wait rides. There was a ride or so that has single riders so we were able to avoid the long line by just going separate. Also If you have an infant you can go to the end of the line and do a swap while your family rides regular they will allow you to switch out without standing in line again, which I thought was pretty important to mention for families. It’s great to also have reservations at the food places to guarantee a spot and set time. I booked early and our tickets were about $130 ish for 1 day non Florida residents. You have to make sure there is availability the dates you want then book the tickets. The mask restrictions are also currently lifted.
Loved this park, just the looks and feel when you walk in are awesome. Almost had some kind of radiator springs type vibe going on. Then the star wars area felt like I was walking through tattooine straight outta the movies. Very nice visuals and made for some good pics. My daughter loved the toy story land despite us riding no rides in this park due to it being our last day and was super hot and on a time crunch. Lots of fun to be had though.
Star Wars Galaxy Edge is the best of this park!I really loved to visit this new land, is wonderful, I mean when you are walking there you can feel as a part of that world, and is not only the big things, even in every small detail Star Wars is there, you can see it, you can feel it and be overwhelmed as a fan.I enjoyed my first visit to this park. There are many attractions to play with, those roller coaster, specially my favorite The Rock and roller coaster.I tried the Disney Genie ($15 per dayand it was good, if you make a good plan you can save a lot of time with it.The park was fully and some attractions collapsed and close by time to time. Its happened with Rise of the Resistance, the waiting time for it was always insane (around 120 to 180 minutes). Last time I tried and after more than an hour in line it was closed for technical reasons and I couldnt make it😢♿The whole place is accessible. There are places to rent scooters and the cast members offering wheelchairs to people who need one to access in some attractions.
An amazing experience! If you have an older child, plan on spending more time at HS than any other parks! In SW area, it feels like you are walking right into the movie set! The rides were much more intense and entertaining than any other parks. We spent two full days and had lots of great memories created.
Disney’s Hollywood Studio was another magical place where you experience exciting things in your ways. The waiting may be tiring, but the result may not. Genie+ application helps you to reserve your favorite rides once every 2~3hours? And for the rides that is very popular, I recommend waking up at 6:50AM and prepare to mash that button to get into at least one slot of time in lightning lane because you’re going to be surprised how fast those tickets go out.
I love Disney, but I found that this park doesnt have enough rides and attractions to keep the lines and crowds down. We spent two days here and couldnt do all we wanted, not because the park is too big, but because the lines were too long. The 50s diner and Italian restaurant were both awesome! Dont miss Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railway, it was much more exciting than expected. Hopefully Ill get to ride the Slinky Dog ride next time :(
AWESOME park! This is the PERFECT park to go to after experiencing Magic Kingdom. It’s a completely different vibe and much more laid back. There’s wonderful immersion to experience as you walk around each theme with some of the best rides Disney as a whole has to offer. If you’ve never been to Hollywood Studios, I highly suggest you change that! There’s plenty for all ages to enjoy and if you’re a fan of Star Wars or Toy Story those are just added perks to make your experience even better.
We loved our day at Hollywood Studios! The overall vibe of the place is great and the rides and shows are amazing! We managed to get on everything except Tower of Terror which broke as we got to the start but otherwise particularly loved the Rock & Roller Coaster, Slinky Dog Dash & Mickey and Minnie Railway. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Beauty & the Beast show. Would say youd need to make use of the lightning lanes to fully enjoy your day - at some points the queues were well over 2 hours.
We loved the rides! The Star Wars rides were great, but walking through that section of the park was my favorite. I definitely recommend arriving at least 45 minutes before park opening. We were able to ride Tower of Terror, Rockin Roller Coaster, and Spinning Saucers within 35 minutes of walking in.
Very fun park, but very busy.Staff can be friendly, but be nice! 🙂Good transportation options.Great rides but long lines. Not enough water distribution or places to sit.Prepare for a long day of waiting but worth it.
The attention to detail was better than expected. Long lines. Waited 3 hrs for the Rise of the Resistance ride. Honestly it was the best ride in the park. We enjoyed our day. We went during spring break so the lines were long for everything.
the attractions are very good, the facilities very well designed, there is organization, there are attentive staff to guide and serve you, there are well-located and sufficient bathrooms. there is a variety of places in drinks and food, as well as sales of articles or souvenirs. In general everything is very nice. What would improve if possible, are the waiting times to be able to enter the attractions, there are some that have shade, and eventually where to lie down or sit, but the lines are very stressful, you last longer in line, everything else is fine, I recommend it and would return.
I wanted to enjoy this trip so bad but it just wasnt at all what I expected. Pros: great photos ops, can say I checked this off my bucket list, rides are fun if you get a chance to get on them. Cons: Tickets to the park are overly priced, actually everything is overly priced, wait times for rides are 1-2 hours long. You can pay extra to get some kind of fast pass but the best rides are excluded and you are still subject to long wait times. Be prepared to wait in line for 2 hours for a ride, only for them to tell you the ride has broke down. Feet and legs will hurt like a pain youve never experienced by the end of the day. If I could do it over again, I wouldnt. I would save my money and take my family to the beach for a week.
I absolutely love Galaxy Edge dont get me wrong the scenery everything is great Disney just needs to get a handle on the lines. Almost 4 hours to wait on line and if you didnt know you can make an appointment but that really doesnt help because the time could be later on in the day and they dont tell you these things its just crazy. I went just to buy stuff and had a blast just looking around but I literally could not get on any rides because 4 and 5 Hour weights is out of this world. It took me 6 hours to drive there from Georgia imagine me waiting for hours for a ride.
Absolutely amazing park filled with awesome rides, shows and food. Star wars is breathtaking and unbelievable. Toy Story land is so much fun for all ages. Could easily spend 2 days here
I REALLY enjoyed Hollywood!!! The rides was fun, the food was good and had a lot of options, however a few more would not hurt considering the amount of people at this park daily, and the different areas of the park was awesome. The Star Wars area was amazing, and Im not a Star Wars fan! The shows we really enjoyed as well as the rides. Definitely plan on this park being one that you visit !!!
Visited this place last week. Riders are thrilling than other Disney parks. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock n Roller Coaster, Toy Story Midway Mania, Millennium Falcon, Space Mountain, Alien Swirling Saucers, these rides we were able to go on half day. Kids rides were enjoyable too. Had lunch at Star War restaurant. Food is absolutely delicious. If you are staying Disney resort utilize the 30mins prior entry wisely to cover all the rides. Frozen sing-along, Indiana Jones were truly magical.
Disney Hollywood Studios has made every Star Wars fan (both old and newcome true with their new Galaxys edge expansion. It was incredible to see how screen accurate the rides and props are. The overall park is amazing and the staff is very friendly too!
Swarmed with people as far as the eye can see. I will warn anyone who decides its a good idea to visit Disney world Christmas week or anytime during Christmas school vacation. The place was so mobbed you couldnt see anything but peoples heads. Getting bumped into, hit by strollers, and people beeping at you on electric scooters is not my idea of fun. Trying to get into any of the dining areas was near impossible. I was lucky enough to snag a lunch at Mama Melrose but that was luck. I believe it came down to staff shortage again. There were plenty of empty tables but I dont think they had the staff to fill them thus the hard time getting in to eat anywhere. The Minnie and Mickey runaway train ride was fun, its one of their newer rides. The Star wars land was packed which I expected it would be. Again trying to get any type of food or beverage there you had to wait in line for close to an hour. So there was an hour unless you had in the park every time you had to stop. The park was clean especially with the amount of people that were there. Toy story Land was nice for younger visitors but I didnt find much for those that were older. The two new star war rides were nicely done. I hope they continue to add on to this land because it could be so much more. Then there was the old Muppets 3D that you didnt even have to wait to get into because no one cared about it anymore. There were a few attractions like this which made it easy to get into. Some of these attractions need to be redone or taken down and replace with something else. All in all it was a decent day and one of the better parks as far as cast members go.
December 2021 - my 3 daughters (4,6 and 9loved the tower of terror ride. When it was done, they wanted to go again. The elevator drop they said scared them a bit but nothing they could not handle. It was one of their favorite rides. Great park and my kids loved it. They wanted to go back the next day. Food, rides, people, security, etc. Everything was great. We had a great visit.
Place was pretty clean, well organized over all. Food options everywhere. The only thing thats off due to covid is the merchandise. Theres a lot missing through the park. Quite sad but they are open and all rides were working so... Definitely happy overall!
This was my first visit and I must say I was thoroughly impressed concerning both the scope and scale of this establishment. I enjoyed the creative atmosphere, meticulously arranged foliage and overall atmosphere. I visited for Christmas and must add that the festive decorations were significantly more impressive than I anticipated. My only grievance is that they were far too strict concerning covid regulations at the time compared to other establishments.
The only thing I was impressed with was the Star Wars area. Other than that, everything about Hollywood Studios is just on the decline. Let me tell you. For $15, you can add lightning lane to your park card that allows you I the fast line. You can only book 1 ride every 2 hours and with only about 10 rides, its definitely not worth it. Most rides were fully booked by 11am which only allowed us to use the pass once by the time we were able to book our second ride. That ride ended up being book 6 hours after our arrival to the park. The other issue... you had to book to eat as well and sometimes that was a longer wait than a ride. We wait 80 minutes for our food which was a burger and fries. Lastly, this place allows way too many people into the park. Many times we were in crowds lo large we could get anywhere for a while. Several attractions were closed too. Unfortunately, I will not he back until some changes are made.
