Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park in Buenaventura Lakes

This is one of my favorite parks and brought my daughter here for the first time and she enjoyed it. We loved Dino Land specially she didnt disappoint, with the dino themed restaurants and attractions, including digging fossil bones. The animal safari was great and the Africa and Asia sections were great and had great food options. The stores 🏬 inside are overpriced as expected. But overall the Lion King Festival show and the Jungle Themed kite show over the water were a great experience! One of my best and favorite ride was #AVATAR definitely worth of waiting. I did it three times in day lol 😂Highly recommend for the kids.

We visited this park on the last day of our trip to Disney. We didn’t spend a lot of time there but our main reason for going was to have lunch at the Yak & Yeti. That restaurant is one of the best!This park is also where you’ll find the tree of life. It’s huge and has over 300 animals carved into it. It’s impressive to see. There’s a safari ride as well as others and many places to eat.This park is probably my least favorite of all the parks at Disney mainly because it seems crowded all the time. That’s because the streets are narrower to imitate how streets are in the continents represented here. Still, we enjoyed our brief visit here.

Incredible park, there are many places to escape to inside of this park. Never felt overwhelmed and this was probably due to the many trees and animals everywhere. Pandora is incredible and a true work of art, flight of passage is a must do when in this park. Recommend expedition Everest as well as this coaster is a blast and I was able to ride it three times with family. Kali River Rapids is a blast with the water and the unique burnt down forest is wild as it shows deforestation and the importance of preserving rainforests. Also highly recommend Kilimanjaro safari, nice way to sit and still see animals and wildlife in their natural habitat.

Had a great time! The Avatar Flight of Passage ride was my favorite, but the longest line there. Typical 3 hour wait, think we waited about 2. Loved the safari, Bird Show, Bugs Life, Expedition Everest had a pretty short wait, as did the Dinosaur ride. Kind of like being at a zoo with rides. My 17 year old enjoyed it as well. It rained off and on...very muggy.

Animal kingdom doesnt have many rides, or exhibits for that matter. There are some fun things to do, and some very cool creations like the tree of life. But in general, its hard to spend an entire day here unless youre spending most of it waiting in line for the few good rides they do have.I was very surprised at the lack of animals. After all, its animal kingdom. The live animals are very limited, and basically just a couple tigers and some birds.It may be good to go here with a party hopper and split your time with Epcot. In hindsight, going here in the morning and hopping to Epcot for a late lunch wouldve been ideal.I would guess that the younger the kids, the more they will enjoy animal kingdom.

Such a cool park. Almost like a huge zoo with interactive details.We went and drew a character from The Lion King.We went on a safari and saw so many animals from all over the planet it was like a dream.We celebrated the history of the the different life on the planet that I couldnt believe how small the park was.So much to see here that this park could easily be ten times as large and get more visitors.

This place was AMAZING! Avatar land was out of this world! The pictures do no justice to what it really feels like to be there!! All the food & drinks were good. Rides were amazing. Such a good place to spend a day with family & friends!

This is one of our favorite Disney parks, especially when the weather starts to get cooler. We concentrated on the Asia and Africa portions of the park today. These are very well themed and make you feel like you are in another exotic part of the world. There are many interesting things to see and do there. Their crowning glory is the Tree Of Life that greets you when you first enter the main part of the park. It has many intricate wood carvings that make it up and it houses the Its Tough to be a Bug attraction. There is one of the best restaurants in Florida located here too. The Yak and Yeti restaurant. The best thing I like is all the different vegetation, waterfalls and wildlife that you can see here. There are several nature trails you can walk, a safari and even a train ride. These also are live shows, rides and plenty of places to buy souvenirs, food and drink. You will certainly be kept entertained and well fed if you go here.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is a must visit! It’s got a great relaxed vibe. The Safari and animals are wonderful to see. The park is beautifully designed with plant life and typography. It’s so picturesque, you feel like you’re traveling somewhere far away- like Africa or Asia or Pandora!The rides to prioritize are the Everest Expedition and the African Safari. The food offered is good with a nice variety of choices beyond burgers and macaroni and cheese.The crew members were friendly and helpful. The park was kept meticulously clean.I highly recommend Animal Kingdom to people of all ages! It’s a wonderful Disney experience!

So not the best park for rides if you dont like avatar or animals but if you do this is awesome. We love Avatar and this park has been a long time bucket list. Flight of passage, and river journey are both great rides and have lived up to expectations. Recommend getting genie+, there are not a lot of rides here but its worth getting just to do those 2. Ride times for them never got below 1 hour the whole day we were there. Pay to ride Passage and book lightning lane for journey. Also Recommend going to Nomad Lounge at 11 when they open to put your name in for a table later in the day. We got in line at 11:20 and got a table at 2. When we came back at 2 they were booked for the whole day. There drinks and small plates are so outside of normal park eats and they are a real treat. The best ice cream sandwich was in Dino land USA, at Dino bites. Its a great dessert and really helps cool you off.

Perfect weather! We went to all the islands, the Pandora ride left me completely speechless, really was a lot of fun. Got drenched in Asia, the ride was nice but it seemed like I took a shower! Safari was great, got to see many of the animals (pics included). Did not sit down for one minute.Is n exciting place

Animal Kingdom wasn’t all that bad but I must admit that it is not quite as cool as the other parks. If you do enjoy the outdoors and rides of that type then you will enjoy this park. All in all neat place but only need a half a day to check out this park. The my do however have the Avatar ride here.

A very cool and well laid out park. The attention to detail everywhere is mind boggling. The rides were all pretty cool and we hit all the major ones. Forget Magic Kingdom, if you are only able to go to one out of the 2, this one has to be the one you go to. Loses a star just based on price alone for admission and vendors although to be expected...

Really great park with animals! The best part of this park was the safari! We saw so many animals and it felt like a full on safari. It was by far the best part of the whole park! Go on the safari! Some of the rides are a bit dated but the avatar ones are pretty cool! And always good treats to get all over the park!

Love going to Animal Kingdom! Explore Pandora from the movie and see real life animals around the vehicle youre in. Also recommend the yak and Yeti restaurant because everything was delicious! A real nice and cool place to hang out because of the nature around you. With all the trees this is one of the coolest places at Disney since theres lots of shape. Also go and explore some of the nature trails and see tigers, bats, gorillas and more. A must try is the water rapids if you want to cool off because somehow you will get wet!

We really enjoyed the Animal Kingdom. The theme park is perfect size, unlike other ginormous and overwhelming theme parks that are never ending. This park is ease going, take your own time and pace.1. In Asia part, Kilimanjaro safari is good they make sure you see majority of animals, kids would love it.2. In Asia part, Kali river ride is awesome, not so scary at all but super fun, be ready to be drenched in water3. Navi river ride in Pandora is breathtaking, takes you into the world of ‘Avatar’4. If you like adventure then Everest ride is for you5. Dino land has fun gaming zone for kids to enjoy also the triceratops ride is funOverall we loved all the rides which we tried and animal adventure walks we did.If you going in summers be sure to be hydrated throughout.

What a magical place! This is one of my favorite Disney Parks. Parking lot is huge and easy access to the main entrance. Pandora is the best attraction so far but I love little rides and the free photo with Mickey and Minnie. We had lunch at Tuckers house, food is absolutely AMAZING, I did not expect that quality in the dishes for a Disney Park. Love the safari and how close to can get to some animals.

Absolutely loved everything. The only ride with a long wait time was Flight of Passage in the Pandora section but it was well worth it. All other rides had less than 20 minute wait times. All the cast members we encountered were courteous and knowledgeable. Disney truly is the happiest place on Earth

I was skeptical about Disney parks in general since Ive never been to one and they always seem to be so packed and crazy. But my friend and I took my four year old and we had a blast. The waits for rides were reasonable and there was so much to see. I also felt like food prices were reasonable. We loved the shows and had time to ride nearly all the rides in just one day!

AMAZING! Where to start? Pandora! Great attractions/rides. Safari ride is very nice and educational! There are so many things to do here!Yak & Yeti had great food. Very friendly helpful staff. I have a gluten allergy and they very kindly gave me a gluten free menu and then ensured there were no issues with my food so I could enjoy my meal and the rest of my day. Everything was DELICIOUS!!! Waitstaff were phenomenal.

wows. Nice park. Less to do here (for methan the other 3 but still worth a half day visit. Maybe stay late the day before and have a late start to come here.The East Africa (Kenya, etclocation is amazingly accurate! Great job by the creators!!Pandora/Avatar is an excellent addition and done exceptionally well. Definitely visit that area also!

I love Animal Kingdom! There’s lots of neat rides here and some great shows. I feel like there’s something here for every age. I will say that I don’t feel like this is an all day park. On my past visit, I was able to do everything in the park within half a day. Plan for the heat here because this park always seems to be the hottest park with a lack of shade. But definitely check it out!

Without a doubt my fave Disney attraction. Our family are animal lovers, age range from 7yrs - 66yrs and 2 of our party on the spectrum. There truly was something for everyone, with lots of knowledgeable staff on the park in general and interesting facts about the animals we were visiting at the time. Boiling hot day with a massive storm, but that didnt put us off. Definitely do the wildlife safari-you will be in awe and dont forget your camera as the place is beautiful with lots of opportunity for amazing memorable photos. Tree of life is incredible, you could stare at it for hours and still find something new. Animals are respected and obviously very well cared for. Take your own drinks as Disney dont do refillable cups anymore and a bottle of Coca-Cola $5 and water $3.20

The best park out of all the parks at Disney world. I have kids age under 5 at the time, they loved it.They were so excited about the kite show, lion king show, different countries exhibit, avatar ride, and all the other picturesque places and spots inside.It’s calm, beautiful and so much to keep everyone involved.

My family and I spent the day at Disneys Animal Kingdom theme park. That tree of life is absolutely stunning! Theres really no words to describe it. It is breathtaking. And I love the way all the animals are carved into the base of the tree. And I love the theater that they have in the tree and how interactive it is. Truly amazing experience. My son also got us tickets for the Lion King production at Animal Kingdom. It was also stunning. One of the other things we really enjoyed, was the Safari. Youve got to make sure that you get on that tour! A fun-filled day for the family. Remember to take an umbrella with you. I had an umbrella because during the day it would rain on and off multiple times. So excited that I remembered to take an umbrella with me. I hope you all enjoy the theme park as much as we did! Awesome experience from the rides to the animals and everything in-between. Most especially enjoyed the safari adventure. Every employee genuinely seemed to love their job and was knowledgeable about the animals. I went twice this past week, once with young children and again with adults. Each experience was fun and memorable with tons to do for different groups of guests. Highly recommend!

I went to Animal Kingdom for the first time this year. We went on the safari tour, which was cute. We also saw the Lion King show, which was really good. The Pandora section was my favorite though, by far! Floating rocks, beautiful foliage, and the ride was awesome! We didnt get to ride the river ride, but we got to ride the one with the banshee. One of the most unique experiences Ive ever had. The reason for the missing star is because I was hoping there would be more unique experiences with the animals. There really werent that many opportunities to interact with the animals. But overall, still a very fun day.

My favorite park! Theres so much to do and its very kid friendly, with smaller rides and a lot of shows. I recommend going on the safari ride! We had rhinos and giraffes so close you could reach out and touch them (although its not recommend haha). It is the hottest park because everything is outside, but some rides have big fans to keep you cool. They also have a wilderness explorer book where you can earn "badges" (stickersto become an explorer. Pandora is amazing as well, the design is breathtaking. Definitely recommend if youre visiting Disney!

This was a great experience. You could literally stay there all day. The Safari and Avatar rides were awesome. The Dino ride was a pleasant surprise. The food in this park is good and the bakery has some cute treats. The lion king show was really good. The characters float up and down the river constantly. We also had the breakfast biscuit and birthday muffin since we couldnt get a reservation at a restaurant and they both hit the spot.

Thos is an awesome place to visit with your family. Small children will enjoy viewing the animals bigger kids will love the rides. Some food items are a little expensive but throw some half frozen bottles of water, sodas, juice boxes in a backpack along with some chips and sandwiches and have a good time for about 6 or 7 hours. Enjoy!

My family and I Loved the Animal Kingdom - not for the rides or excitement, but for the beauty. It was a stark contrast for us, going from magic kingdom and Hollywood Studios to a slower paced more wildnerness feel - which we loved!Black Rhinos, white rhinos, Giraffes, and more on the safari ride.The avatar flight of passage is a wonder of a thrill ride! Very well worth the trip to Animal Kingdom on its own.

The park was not super busy and I was impressed that capacity limits were in place. The safari was fun and if you can do it in the morning before it gets too hot there is more likelihood of seeing lots of animals. Food is good but expensive, however that is expected. Fun was had by all.

Once in a lifetime experience! 😍 I loved every bit of it.We did the Khilamanjaro Safari, the Kali River Rapids, Mount Everest, Lion King Celebration and a lot of walking through interesting places.Mount Everest was a pretty strong ride! I would encourage you NOT to do that on a full stomach!!We were also going to do the dinosaur ride, but considering that Mount Everest didnt have a warning and the Dinosaur ride had a warning, we chickened out of that one as well as the Avatar/Pandora ride. Im sure they are both incredible though.

Pandora was mind blowing, a floating mountain over your head! Wow. Really impressive, well done Disney. Tree of life is always amazing, wish the food was better. Also pretty crowded and we went on a weekday in May. Didn’t have a chance to get on any rides, and we were at the park at 8 o’clock. We’re not willing to wait an hour for a ride, but apparently lots of people are. We had perfect weather, so didn’t feel the need for AC. Several of the animal habitats were being cleaned, so we didn’t see tigers or antelope. Overall a really nice day

Animal Kingdom is a great place to visit. The safari is great!! Gorilla and tiger attractions are great, so much better than a zoo, I mean its Disney.The Avatar rides and area are Amazing!The show Bugs Life is a lot of laughs with lots of surprises.Everest ride is still one of my favorites.

Animal Kingdom is hands down the best of all the Disney Parks. Its stunningly beautiful. The lines move fast and are amazing! The food is so good. So many awesome animals and photo opportunities! Also a ton of places to sit in the shade! We had a wonderful day, and since we gate dropped we did a ton of stuff and even managed a lightning lane for Flight of Passage!

One of the best places I have been to in Orlando.Divided into different areas with a specific theme and the best ride was Avatar flight of Passage.I recommend to do this ride first thing in the day and coming early will give you less waiting time for the first few rides.I bought Genie+ which gives you lightning lane ride every 2 hours and I highly recommend to add this to your ticket.

Great time! Highly recommend if you have little one’s. There is plenty to see and do that everyone has fun. A few playground areas are scattered around the park too so you can sit and watch your kids play or join them in the fun! We did a few rides, but mainly enjoyed the ambiance and the animals. Again it was perfect with our little guy!

💎 One of the best hidden gems of Disney. 💎Combined with a well rounded experience and the shade the foliage offers this park is a great place to slow down and enjoy the scenery and wildlife. The staff is very knowledgeable regarding the animals and the rides are so engaging. The safari is a must along with the new Avatar park area its overall a great time. I highly recommend this park if your doing Magic Kingdom and looking for another park to enjoy. Most rides are great for adults and the kids too. The yeti coaster is alot of fun as well and wait times are minimal. The shows are fun as well! Also if your looking for good food and some great drinks check out Africa and if your lucky you may get a show in the street with the African dance which was awesome and authentic!!A++

We spent this past Tuesday here. It was really great and a much better experience than Magic Kingdom.There was no wait to get in, far less crowded, and the lines for the rides were manageable as a result. Lightning Lanes helped a lot here because youre competing with less people and there are less major rides. We enjoyed the rough and tumble Kilimanjaro safari ride, beautiful and calm neon dark Navi river ride, and the rough Kali river rapids (we got properly soaked at the end of 80+ degree day). But our favorite was the Avatar Flight of Passage 3D flying simulator ride (where you even get sprayed with water as youre flying over the waves!), it was epic and surreal!Staff was very friendly and helpful, we had a great experience overall here.

Nice park, with a few bits to do. Not as much as the other parks, but enough to keep you busy anyway.The breakfast here was good too, certainly didnt leave hungry.Safari was easily the highlight of the day

We had a ton of fun on the day we went. Parking was quick and a breeze. Crowds were mostly minimal, though paying more for the fast passes with small kids is WELL worth it. Both kids like the Navi river boat ride on Pandora. The dinosaur ride was a bit scary for the 5-year-old, but he wanted to go again as soon as it was done. The bugs life show was interesting. We thought the 1-year-old would be scared, but she was a trooper.Do not miss the bird show. We almost skipped it and would have regretted it. The hosts played of one another fantastically, and a number of the birds flew close over our heads. So much fun!!We had a breakfast sandwich that was probably one of the best things we ate. We loved seeing all the animals, and the themes were very well done. My 5-year-old made some bird friends while we ate.We will definitely come back here.

Disney world is so much better than I expected! The avatar area was so cool! The ride was surprisingly fun, coming from someone who has ridden slingshots and roller coasters. We didnt have enough time to see it all, would recommend trying to get there early in the morning and bring comfortable shoes.

The largest theme park in the world will not disappoint. My daughters are 8 and 5-said it was the most fun theyd ever had. I really enjoyed it too. Well worth the time and money and would love to visit again. I recommend staying until close so you can watch the show at the tree of life.

Walt Disney World Animal Kingdom is a fantastical place for everyone of all ages. I’m fact Animal Kingdom is my kids favorite place to visit out of all the parks. There is so much to do: Fun rides, excellent shows, exotic animals, a safari, the Avatar theme park, fun and different food! The Tree of Life is a modern feat that you will not want to miss for anything! I recommend that you put comfy shoes, sun block and make meal reservations for a fun filled time in the park! You won’t regret your time at AK!

This is my favorite park of the 4 Disney parks! More relaxing, beautiful plants. I love several of the restaurants, both sit-down and quick service. Tiffin, Nomad Lounge, Yak and Yeti, Flame Tree all good. Pandora is absolutely magical! Would like to see it last night with the lighting. Asian and African Villages both atmospheric and fun.The lines for the rides have been very long, especially Pandoras Flight of Passage at 130 minutes all day. We tend to have a limit of 45 minutes for lines, so will have to try another time. The safari rides are amazing when the animals are more active. There are many trails that branch off from the main walkways that people miss. The Maharaja Trek is particularly beautiful, but some of the animals are hiding, so several empty habitat areas. There are 3 areas that are packed, especially the African Village, otherwise not too congested.I definitely recommend this park, and plan to visit again.

The only downside to the attractions as always are the long wait lines, I wish there were more options with faster lanes instead of lightning speed Lanes at scheduled times. The stores are overpriced as expected. But overall the Lion King Festival show and the Jungle Themed kite show over the water were a great experience! Highly recommend for the kids.

A lot less crowded than other parks, which is a major plus for me! Pandora is the families favorite from the entire park, and the avatar ride was the main winner from the park. However, I really enjoyed the entire park because Im not all about rides. The animals had SO much more room than any zoo I have ever been to, and ALL looked very healthy!!! The rides were fun as well, just not as many, and I think that is good as it would take away from the animals! The only drawback I have is the fact that there are not a lot of food choices and places to eat/snack for the number of people who are at the park.

Beautiful scenery. Less crowded than magic kingdom . Loved the avatar river ride. Safari ride was amazing . The baby care center is great. They have nursing rooms and changing tables. Great bird show. Very kid friendly other than I didn’t like that you have to carry your baby in line and can’t bring a stroller in line.
