I always love to have dumplings here. Their 饺子 and 小笼包 are all so delicious. Their service is one of the best services in Taipei. Service is very systematic and well mannered. Their always waiting, but the wait is worth all the delicious food we have their.Last time we had chocolate dumplings 巧克力小笼包 for dessert. They were yummy. I recommend everyone to try atleast once.This is also one the most hygienic places I have been to. Amazing experience.

The way Taiwan loves its dumplings. Well worth the wait to get seated and dont forget dessert... their chocolate filled dumpling is the perfect way to cap off an amazing meal.

At B1 of Sogo. Opens 10:30 for early lunch. Gets busy from 12 noon and you often have to wait for a table. Food and service are good, as with all din tai fung branches. Get 3h free parking with any purchase.

If you come to Taiwan you have to visit Din Tai Fung. One of the best places to eat Xiao Long Bao (Soup Dumplings).Their Xiao Long Bao are perfectly cooked and have the perfect amount of dough, meat, and soup which give it a very nice balance. They also serve a variety of noodles, rice, wontons, deserts which are all pretty tasty. A must come! However on nights and weekends the line can get pretty long around 20-40 minutes of wait.

My stomach grumbles as I prepare to eat Din Tai Fun, again. I could already imagine the delicious food, full of flavor, going straight into my stomach. Then it’s my turn to go in, I step in and prepare myself for the wonderful flavors about to fill my mouth. The 4.5-star restaurant of Din Tai Fung really deserves its status. While you wait for it to be your turn to eat, the convenient location helps fill up that wait time. Both the food quality and the variety is astonishing. Din Tai Fung also has excellent service. Everyone is really nice there. All in all, Din Tai Fung is an amazing restaurant that you definitely should visit the next time you are in the area.

Soft + Succulent + Juicy = An Explosion of Happiness - A.K.A. Steamed dumplings. The Din Tai Fung steamed pork dumplings have remarkable quality from its hard-working chefs to its high-quality ingredients. Din Tai Fung refuses to accept substandard ingredients and refuses to serve substandard cuisine as well. The steamed pork dumplings have a spine-tingling taste. While the meat is enjoyable, it is the dough and soup that is the real specialty of these pork dumplings. The Din Tai Fung dumplings are simple, tasty, and fresh all at the same time. Even though the pork dumplings might be a wee pricey, it makes up for that in its other exceptional qualities. The Din Tai Fung steamed dumplings are the only dumplings that you will ever need to eat despite its high price because of its stunning quality, and awe-inspiring taste.

This place has an awesome selection of foods and really great dumplings! They were doing a nice job of distancing tables and I appreciated that everyone wore a mask in the restaurant. Even while they were super busy on holiday or some special days, they still managed good service and quick food delivery. We had a small table and ordered a lot of food - they did a nice job clearing stuff off as we went and stacking the dumpling baskets when possible! The vegetarian dumpling options weren’t my favorite, but definitely recommend the wontons in spicy sauce! The sauce was good on everything! They were out of a couple things we wanted to order but it was really busy so we will have to come back for more! I do wish they had more options for the soup dumplings because they were out of 1 and the 3rd option was really pricy (truffle and porkso we were limited there but the rest of the menu had tons of options to keep us satisfied!What a awesome Chinese cuisine restaurants around the world!

This is already one of the international world-class food chain store to enjoy some of the traditional Chinese food especially steam bum, and even you will feel surprised that they have the special formula with your sauce which contains soy sauce, vinegar, ginger, and spicy oil (optional). And in these few years, I had seen them upgrade themselves in the menu which even one person can enjoy a lots of food with small portion of different selections. But still Everytime you visit there or even bringing your families, friends, business occasion, this restaurant will not let you down, not just the food and also the friendly services.

Worth waiting even if the queue is very long. We were waiting for an hour. The staff will give you a menu list. I do recommend you select before you have a seat. That would make you get food faster. The menu has multi-language. So tell the staff where you are from. Dumplings are the most famous food you should never miss it. Buns here are soft and yummy also. Try foods that they give stars on the menu.

Taste is great, especially the pork fried rice, special sauce spicy dumplings, and of course the Xiao Long Bao. On weekend nights l or actually most nights, you will have to wait as there is an enormous amount of tourists guidebook mentions of this place and once you go in, the services give you a choice of appetizer, then some tea and how-to-make-the-ginger-sauce instructions if you are new. Parking is under the department store and transport is easy from Zhisan station across carefour, then turn right. Service and food are great, just the long wait times.

The food was pretty good. Servers were friendly, and most of them spoke English.

Great quality of food and service. The Tianmu branch is probably the better of the branches other than the original Xinyi location. Every dish is delicious and very sincerely prepared. Its rare for a restaurant to be good at every dish but DTF has done it. I am rarely disappointed at DTF.

It’s no wonder the wait is so long! Every dish we had was amazing! The staff is super attentive and helpful. They speak very good English. The wait was around an hour so be ready to queue. They have an app so you can track when your number will come up and peruse the mall during that time. We were grateful to queue in an air conditioned mall. You also get to order while waiting which means speedy delivery once you’re seated.

Waitresses were very polite and smiled a lot. I love good customer service because it makes the experience that much better. Half of your experience comes from the food and the other half comes from how comfortable you feel. The waiters and waitresses definitely know how to make their customers feel comfortable.I went with 2 Japanese guys and the staff could speak in Japanese and in English with us.

This is better than most other Ding Tai Fung’s we have been to. The service was excellent. The staff was even concerned that we ordered too much and asked if we wanted to order less to start... turned out we ate every last morsel on every plate. The only small nick pick was that the vegetable was a bit oily. But delicious.

Food is great. Prices are OK. Wait is long, but worth it. Its convenient for Tianmu dwellers, but still has no reservation policy, and the long waits of other locations. But when you must have Din Tai Fung, it hits the spot.The chocolate dessert dumplings are killer.

The only criticism of this place is that it is so much better than the Din Tai Fung franchises that we have in Sydney, it’s ruined the Australian experience for me! Super friendly service, amazing taste, so fresh and a compact offering of really good dishes. It’s always amazing to see the dumplings and wontons being prepared right in front of your eyes

I came to this place for first time in 2015 and it had Michelin star. The food here is spectacular! The taste of each piece is special. The staff is polite, helpful and very experienced.Since 2015 I always visit this place when I am in TaiPei. It’s one of the most significant restaurants in the city. Getting here can be a bit difficult from some areas but totally worth it.Everything is hand made and super fresh! It’s an adventure for your mouth :6 stars

It was one of the best dinner I have ever had when being abroad. The restaurant is really a magnet for food lover. The staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. They do have inner joy in serving people. Plenty of foods. All are really delicious. If you are lost in front of the menu with myriad offers, just ask a forever smiling staff, you will be satisfied with what she recommends.Long to having at least one Din Tai Fung in Ho Chi Minh City as we suggested to the kind owner of the restaurant.

Delicious, good service, easy park, shopping

There is a Din Tai Fung in pretty much every SOGO department store in Taipei. This branch is located in the basement of the Tianmu SOGO.The biggest con of coming here is the long wait in line. It still amazes me that the lines for Din Tai Fung are always so long. A lot of people believe that the Taiwan branches are better than the international locations. I would say they are better but not significantly better. The place is famous for the soup dumplings and you will definitely need to order those. My favorite thing here is by far the chili wontons. I haven’t had a better version of this dish at any other restaurant.What is definitely better is the service. The staff here is very friendly and happy to serve. They still remain polite and calm even though the place is always crazy busy and full of inpatient customers who have been waiting for an hour for food.

I’ve been to Din Tai Fung countless times in the US, and I can tell you this was an order of magnitude better in quality. Almost everything we ordered (chocolate小笼包 suxwas a step better than it’s foreign counterpart, which is already incredible.The 凉菜 are exceptional and would highly recommend getting a bunch. Their 小笼包 is definitely the best item but the nice thing about this place is that all the portions are small enough so you can order a lot and try many different kinds of food 😋

We loved the food and the service of Din Tai Fung. The waitresses were very friendly and accomodating. My mother broke the spoon for the soup and they did not charge us. My son was sleeping already when were given a table and they made sure he was comfortably sleeping by asking us if we want a towel to support his head.Its worth coming back. And did I mention the food was great.

Cons:- Fairly long wait time to be seated- Somewhat Pricey: two mains, two drinks and two portions of dumplings TW $820 together.Pros:- Once you are seated the service is incredibly fast.-Waiting staff are very friendly - lots of hellos and smiles.- The food is delicious.Great spot for lunch, settled my dumpling craving very well.

Although the wait is still a pain, but the enjoyment of having these delectable dishes proves to be worth the wait. I loved all the dishes I have eaten here for the past 20 years except one. The vinegar in the famous sour spicy soup prevented me from drinking this soup totally. So sad!

Food is very good and good quality. Items are pricey for simple dishes. The kettle dumplings are excellent but on the expensive side. Service is good, but they do rush you out. Be prepared to wait at dinner time. They do not take reservations.

Incredible, rush you to get out once you finish last plate. Even clean table while youre having tea. Food is nothing special, you can always find another restaurant with better food and gives you space to enjoy a meal.

Best dining experience ever

This is my most favorite Chinese restaurant here in TPE and I have been visiting its various locations once a week on an average whenever I come to TPE. Cannot say enough about DTFs delicious food and impeccable services. A must visit!

Excellent service and tasty food. Favourite apart from the famous dumpling was the spicy wantons.

Crowded and packed. Staffs were friendly and hospitable. Everything is decent and wonderful. Like it a lot. $1800 NTD for two.
