Din Tai Fung Mega City Restaurant - Mandarin restaurant in Taipei, Taiwan
Din Tai Fung Mega City Restaurant in Taipei
Description
Privilege
my favorite xiaolongbao
Mega city mall has many good places. This one is very nice to sit at. Michelin 1 star place.. We had many dumplings, wine chicken, rice, cucumbers, noodles with mustard, more dumplings and tea.. Lots of tea. It was all really good. And the service was very fast.
MoreOrdered xiaolongbao for takeout. Wait time was about 25 minutes. You can download the Din Tai Fung app to check on the waiting status. Or enjoy watching how they make the xiaolongbao live while waiting for the order.
Moredelicious 😋 ~good service 👍
Not bad, but the Shaomai wasnt what I was expecting.
Always reliable and good, but you pay for it
High quality traditional food. The price is high compared with other traditional food places, yet the service makes it worth. The place is very popular so expect to wait (30 mins is considered a short time, 40 mins+ waiting time is normal).
MoreDin tai fung has been a staple for Taiwanese cuisine, the quality and attention to detail are unparalleled, every item has been cooked and served in a way to always portray the dish in its prime.I am an utmost fan of the shrimp fried rice, every ingredient is cooked perfectly and the mix of the elements is perfectly balanced. The dumplings are also incredible, the noodles is the homemade sauce are a must.Definitely reccomend in any spot in Taiwan 🇹🇼
MoreGreat din Tai Fung. Located in basement but the location is well decorated. But get there early! It can have a long wait.Overall, just as good as the average Din Tai Fung in America. But some specialty items available only in taiwan - shrimp pancake and lamb dumplings. All fantastic takes on classics!
MoreGreat food!
A have to visit Taiwanese food store and as expected in Mega City, long queues and wait. Service is always 5-stars for Din Tai Fung. Food to me is ok though my family craves them.
MoreThe most renowned xiaolongbao restaurant in the world. Very attentive and quick services, but it is so popular that queuing for 30 minutes and above during lunch or dinner hours is just common. Great xiaolongbao and egg fried rice with pork chop. So many delicious dumplings, stuffed buns, and even beef noodles.
MoreVery delicious and the best service I have had in Taiwan...
Its really good
Delicious food, clean, kind staffs and less wait-time
This restaurant of the conventional vibe with an extraordinary renovation and robust oriental ornament, also the majority of gourmands craving of cuisines would inevitably gravitate to the gastronomy from culinary skills in the Chinese version that may veraciously gratify gluttons appetite, Strongly recommend everyone coming and enjoying your spectacular feast with your family and friends.
MoreService was excellent with english speaking staffs. Their service is fast and very polite. Our week day lunch time waiting time was about 30min and we were handed menu list to pick our order while waiting. When we got a table, staff double checked our order by asking what we ordered was without beef and if we are ok with spicy dish.
MoreIts simply delicious! Dont say that you dont like Chinese food before you try this restaurant.... it will change your mind.
MoreYummy! Always the best! No line!
Excellent food. Great atmosphere. Phenomenal service.
Foods were good and the staff were friendly and attentive. During the weekend it is always crowded. When I go there for dinner, I always try to be there before 5pm
MoreDin Tai Fung in Taiwan it’s always a very good experience to have. Firstly their service it’s always number 1 of all. It’s completely different compare to Singapore and Malaysia where taste and portion. The portion in Taiwan is much bigger. They even teach on the proportion of the vinegar for eating their Xiaolongbao.
MoreMichelin one star restaurant. Clean, good service and delicious food.
Foods were tasty and friendly staff with (smiles)Believe they received reasonable salaries (haha...and good training
MoreThe waitress were thoughtful. Serving hot tea right away when I drank it up. The dishes are also yummy tasty. Highly recommend.
MoreFamous for super-thin skin steamed dumplings. Pork mostly. There r also beef noodles, beef soup, and chicken soup. Price is getting higher every year...
MoreA very busy and loud place with fantastic and impressive servers. Anyway you’ll likely be too busy stuffing your mouth with xiaolongbao instead of talking with each other.
MoreBelow expectation, some local shop has better taste. If you have time, i recommend to eat local shop outside. But if you need nice service, this is a place to go.
MoreGreat food with excellent service.
There are too many people waiting outside in anytime. Therefore, dinning in DinTaiFung is always make me an anxiety feeling.
MoreAlways so good so delicious.
A definite must-have while in Taipei. We didnt find a map of the mall but a quick as from one of the workers and it was located on floor B1. All in all, it was great. The workers there are so efficient to cleaning tables for next customers and making sure everyone was attended to. Food came out very quick maybe under 10 mins and was really delicious. And it felt like all the workers spoke near perfect English which made our experience there that much more enjoyable.
MoreThe Xiao Long Bao were delicious. The waiters were very nice and patient. This places gave off a good vibe, and it was worth the price.
MoreGreat service, food is very good.
The food is another level! You can’t find anything you don’t like! And the best customer servicethe soup dumpling is a must and fried rice is delicious 😋
MoreRecommended this Chinese restaurant! Xiao Long Pao is the best! Dumpling were great too. All dishes had a good qualities and worth for the price. The staff can speak English and they were friendly.
MoreFood: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Ambience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Value: ⭐️⭐️⭐️Price range: ~NTD600 per personReview: Quite a nice branch of this now-world-famous chain. Queues are obviously lighter than in downtown Taipei. Service was excellent, and most staff seemed to speak perfect English. As with all Din Tai Fung restaurants (prices are the sameyoure also paying for the name, so expect to pay around NTD600 per person.
MoreSuperb!
Not much else to say than that it was delicious. Well worth the wait.
I have been hearing people and watching videos of Di Tai Fung for years and I can finally experience it myself. My wife and I came to this Din Tai Fung just because we live close by. The atmosphere is great, service is superb, and the food is amazing. I would recommend the spicy shrimp wontons and the spicy oil noodles, both are very flavourful and worth the try. A total of 8 dishes shared between us and the total, including 10% tip, amounts to 1034 ntd. We are very happy to have experience Din Tai Fung ourselves and would recommend.
Moreone of the best Din Tai Fung Restaurant that i ever tried, price so so,nice clean , but its crowded especially in lunch and dinner time
MoreReally good food, very delicious
Went there twice on Sunday and Monday. It was extremely busy during weekends and perhaps public holidays. You can taste the food but the customer service wasnt as good as weekdays-which is understandable as their table flipping rate is always terribly frequent during holidays. Din Tai Fungs food never disappoint me no matter in Sydney, Melbourne, or Taipei. Hopefully we can have one in NZ ASAP!!!!
MoreNice service, nice food. Good Xiao Long Bao. Very pricey
DTF is definitely one of my favorite restaurant in TPE. First time at this location, in B1 of the Mega City。 As expected, the consistency of the food was amazing and service was great, as usual. Ordered the fish and vegetables dumplings, juicy with thin skins, light but flavorful. Hot and sour soup is a most have! Stir fried spinach with tofu skin tasted fresh and tender. Last, but not the least, desert with sesame balls in rice wine soup is also another must. Delicious!
MoreYou can avoid long queue by going in the afternoon (around 3pm). Wide selection of food on the menu and they are all high quality. You must try out their xiaolongbao and fried rice. Chocolate xiaolongbao is an interesting choice and worth trying. You can see the works of xiaolongbao through their glass-walled kitchen. This branch offers consistent quality. Highly recommended.
MoreExcellent good and service!
Its most close to Taoyuan compared the location to other DinTai Feng
A must eat whereever in Taiwan. The real taste of xiaolongbao and noodles are the best! Every time my parents come to Taiwan, they always at least once to eat here. Best quality of foods and services. They can speak fluently foreign languages by looking which flag pinned on their uniform. Interesting. Wish I could join them someday😊Helena (Indonesian), Taipei.
Moreawesome food and services!
