Gourmet Mexican fare & cocktails in a contemporary dining room with a patio overlooking the pool.
So happy that we (my bf and Ihave found such a great restaurant. It was our anniversary and first night to spend in Miami. What a great start to our vacation. The service was exceptional! As soon as we walked in, the gentleman sat as down where ever we wanted to sit and then we got greeted by Sebastian who was our server. He was beyond knowledgeable about the menu, recommend us extremely delicious options. For a second we thought he is the owner because nowadays you dont expect servers being so educated on menus! The whole experience was romantic and fun. Cant wait to go back there again!
Great food and atmosphere
Food was amazing, staff was great, prices were ludacris.
Food was ok service very good.I had some kind of tacos but not very memorable.
A bit pricey but their fish tacos were probably the best my partner and I have ever had. Also the pool view is pretty at night.FYI To find this place go through the hotel. If you use Google maps it will direct you around the building which does not have a public entrance.
I couldn’t get the feeling that this space is the hotel’s breakfast buffet out of my head my entire Harsh lighting, fresh paint, and no music only added to that. The quesadilla, carnitas Street tacos, and the steak Diez tacos were quite good. The chicken street tacos were way heavy on the chihuahua cheese. The guacamole was too creamy, definitely premade ahead of time.Odd that there weren’t margaritas on the menu. The staff was nice and pleasant.
Very nice burger. The best quality. Friendly staff and a good value for money.easy listening music and happy faces everywhere.
If you are one of those who like to taste new things in the kitchen and experiment with innovative flavors and techniques, you have found the ideal place to do it: Diez y Seis is an exquisite experience with a Miami flare. If you are seeking to have your tastebuds tantalized, then be sure to order the Chefs choice and sit back and allow yourself to be swept away by the taste of Mexican cuisine with a Miami Beach vibe.
Went there last night. (FYI...dont follow the google map directions...takes you to the side alley of the building where they take in deliveries.Just go to the hotel address. We were greeted by Nelson, who like us...hailed from NYC. He was polite, personable, welcoming and accommodating...as were the waitresses. The food is amazing. The flavors were astounding. My tastebuds were taken on a joyous ride. We had, and I definitely recommend the Chef Special, its a four course meal that makes you anticipate the next course. Each meal is differs according to the specifications you give the waitress...so vegans and meat eaters alike never have to worry. It will be an amazing experience in every dish and bite.
tasty burger!! try it and you never forget it!we were there with friends and it was really a very nice lunch! Also the desserts are great!thank you !!
Tasty tacos. Thank you Silvia for the helpful recommendations.
Really great food, just a tad overpriced. Staff were courteous and efficient, and the overall quality of the experience was good (with a nice view of the pool too top it off). Just, be slightly less expensive please.
Great
Excellent food with a beautiful view of the pool. The steak tacos and Cuban tacos were outstanding.
You have to try the Pineapple Express cocktail! The light taste of pineapple is so refreshing! So I would give 5 stars as even though I am not a big fan of Mexican foods. I found this restaurant has tried out some Mexican cuisine. Very impressive! And I do appreciate the way they tried to make Mexican foods look pretty and give it clean and good taste
If I could give this ZERO stars, I would. We paid over $100 for four flimsy tacos, shrimp soup which they dubbed Ceviche, hot mushroom sauce with cheese, and an ice cup for $18 they called a drink. My husband and I were starving after we got done. I dont know if its just one of those moments you go to an art show and everyone is raving about a circle and square you could of drew on Microsoft paint for $2,000 but what the heck. The ceviche wasnt even a dip served with chips and served with a fork... my advice, dont waste your money.
Food not tasty just looking good on the plate. Very expensive buy the way. The view with the pool is nice.
awesome place, tasty food and gentle service! A place to recommend.
Cool place.Amazing view. Food is nice, but there were too many herbs on the tacos for my taste. The Quesadilla and Salsas were breathtaking. If you want to get authentic mexican food (a little on the pricier side as a drink is 19$ and you pay like 30-40$ per person for the foodon an amazing location, this is it.
Food was good, service a bit slow
Wow... Beautiful views and ambiance... Celebrated a birthday and it was great. Portions are small but I guess thats "Miami" would be better with larger portions to share .. great place to chat and share portions. I did expect more spice to the salsa ..but thats definitely the mexican in me! The tuna tartar and lime aioli was phenomenal.. every mention of how good the food was spoiled by how small the portions were. Will visit again to impress but not a go to.
Delicious good, Great atmosphere. Recommend the Diez Y Sies Experience.
I loved it..!! The Margaritas were amazing! ..and the tacos and quesadilla super yummy!!! I recomend it 100%👍👍👍👍🤗
Amazing taste and beautiful presentation. Service on a Tuesday was quite slow and prices are high but food completely worth it.
The ambiance is lovely and the food was ok. It photographs better than it tastes. The mane issue is the slow service, no fault to the server, her section was too big.
I am usually biased against Mexican food, because the choices of spices often make me nauseous. However, I can easily say the Carnitas Street Tacos were the best tacos I’ve EVER had. Featuring a tapas-style environment, the servings for the appetizers/tacos were small, but reasonably priced and again with amazing taste. I enjoyed every part of my meal and would definitely eat here again given the chance. 10/10 would recommend
This place had a really good menu, Im Mexican visiting Miami, and we had the chance to try Diez y Seis, thanks to Greg that make us enjoyed the experience of the place and the different flavors. I enjoyed the ceviche campechano, the delicious esquites and the best part.. el chapulín colorado !! Omg what a delicious drink!! Be sure to visit this place !!
We tried the breakfast buffet. $26 per person. We were very disappointed in the food options and all of it was extremely bland like they didnt season anything at all. Maybe we should have tried dinner at the restaurant instead.
Portions are small and prices are relatively high but it’s worth it. The guacamole was amazing, along with the tuna tartare. Food is as beautifully presented as delicious. Service was great, with comfy outdoor seating next to a hotel pool.
Food was good, but limited selection as they were running a buffet for Cinco de Mayo without noting it on OpenTable. As a result, the price was quite a bit higher than I was planning to pay ($35 per person, drinks extra). Kitchen set off the fire alarm while I was in the restroom. Restaurant marked my OpenTable reservation a no-show. Service was spread thin. Overall, 2/5. Would try again with regular menu.Edit to add: Just got the check. They included 18% gratuity on our party of 4 for a buffet... updated to 1/5 for that sleazy tactic.
Very good food and the service is fantastic. Sébastien is the best waiter ever ;)
Upscale Mexican dining tucked inside the shore club hotel, with a nice atmosphere and some good menu items.I went with a three star rating because okay service and some food that was below average. The menu items we enjoyed were the Cuban and mushroom tacos, both pretty good items that most people will enjoy. The tuna tostada was bad, its more like smoke tuna on a bagel crisp then a tostada. The smoked corn guacamole was good, but the added flavors didnt come through and the chillies salsa was watery and didnt taste like much. The service was okay, our server was nice but attending to more tables then he could keep up with. I sat for thirty minutes waiting to get the check without food. Even though the restaurant was still pretty empty.
Everything was delicious, but pricy. Place is clean, staff is super friendly
This place is expensive. But the guacamole is good, the potatoes with cheese is good, the tacos are really good ( the pork ones are made with real chicharones). The sangria was good. All around good! But expensive!
The food was not that great for Mexican, food was too dry. Way too expensive for what we got including potions. The interior is nice, seats comfortable, waiters were super nice so thats the only thing thing that I would give the stars for.
(See photo below of the brunch menu. All items listed is included. Brunch is $35 + $25 for bottomless mimosas. So $60 plus tax and tip the total is about $75 per person. If your ok knowing that that’s what your paying then this place is worth going. It’s a Mexican style and food buffet. There are a lot of options. Plus the exciting thing is there is a handmade guac bar that you can order at anytime and they will make it for you. In addition there is a steak taco bar and omelet bar that you can order. There are plenty of options for desserts, Fruit platters, cheese boards and meat boards. The bottomless is truly that we had a party of 3 and each of us had at least 8 to 10 rounds. The atmosphere was great so we stayed there from 12 - 4pm.
Decent food with slightly elevated prices.
Nice location and good meat quality. A bit overpriced.
The three of us waited close to 15 minutes before someone came to greet us. We had 2 cocktails, 2 orders of tacos, 1 order of ceviche, 1order of guac, and 1 order of salsa. The prices were absolutely ridiculous for the portions that they served. The tacos were not good, so I only ate 1/2 of one taco. We basically ate chips/guac for lunch and left hungry. They also gave us the wrong order of ceviche. (That was never corrected). No one asked why I didn’t eat my tacos. Our bill was a whopping 102$, (since they like to gratuity no matter how your experience was). Poor service, food was gross, they messed up our order, and extremely overpriced food. We will not be back.
Worst place i have eaten in my life. Would have a better experience dumpster diving. Waiter forgot about us. His tip is automatically added to bill, he didnt deserve 1cent. Food is horrible. Water $8 charge. Ambiance is old and dirty.STAY AWAY.
I’ve had lunch at this place three time (in only one monthsince I discovered it!Very nice and relaxing atmosphere, but what really makes this place amazing is their food. A modern/fusion Mexican cuisine with fresh ingredients that will make you dream about their guacamole and salads! Definitely going back soon!
Slow service but food is good.
Ordered food for take out. Got 2 fish sticks in a tortilla (fish tacos apparentlyand short ribs in sauce which was extremely soupy. Food ultimately made us sick, manager by the name of Jose Farrufino was helpful at first, but back petalled and called my husband and I liars. He implied that we were basically trying to get free food. Very condescending and aggressive. A shame because my husband and I visit miami every year as a getaway from our adult life (work and kids). We usually have a great time, but this time around our trip was co pletely ruined by pur food poisioning and u helpful outcome of this restaurant. We ended up paying for the food that made us very sick. We will NEVER stay at The Shore Club again nor will we ever eat at this restaurant again.
Great Mexican food, (also portions are a bit too tinygreat cocktails. Perfect service. High level ! Love it.
Very laid back atmosphere, we had the tequila drinks recommended by the serverEl Chapulín ColoradoAvion tequila, mezcal, watermelon, agave, lime, habanero tincture, chapulin salt rimThe guacamole was great, although a smaller portion than we are used to.The tuna tostadas were amazing!Lastly, the steak tacos were excellent! The flavors were layered and presented nicely.Overall great place, and staff was more than welcoming.
The food is really good. Dont go when its really hot as all of the seating is outdoors. Order a few things to share. Great for groups.
I had a good lunch special here. The staff were friendly.
Beachy & Upscale Mexican cuisine... healthy and not your average taco stand. Located in the Shore Club, I highly recommend a daycation with lunch and a sunny day by the pool.
Highly recommended- I had such an incredible dining experience. From the amazing waitress Jaci who made the best recommendations and took wonderful care of us, to the delicious tuna tartar, steak tacos and queso 😍. I will be returning soon! Des
I had the most amazing dinner experience with some of the best mixology drinks with Mezcal! Yum! The food was nothing I have had before with smoked meats and veggies along with the “hanging Mexican Corn”. It’s a must when in South Beach.
