The best guesthouse ever! Extremely neat, well equipped, most beautiful gardens, peaceful surroundings... The host thought of everything and more. She is friendly and helpful. We will be back again and we want to recommend Die Fonteine to anybody who wants to be spoiled!

Just WOW, after years of international travel I never heard as much pre-justice and bias towards me as during 5 min small talk with the host of this B&B. Im a dual citizen who moved to the country of my choice for work almost a decade ago, was travelling with the boyfriend whos also the citizen of said country.After hearing my accent the host immediately asked where were from and made her assumptions. With passive aggressive sarcastic tone asked me "how long you live there" while rolling her head on my boyfriend like my immigration has something to do with him, "you live there because its dangerous in your country" - What?!. Without even asking what I do or how I immigrated there I was labeled as a gold digger, completely destroying my academic and professional accomplishment by just hearing my nationality.Room was advertised as having a private entrance which it kinda has but you have to pass right under other rooms windows. The rooms are on the first floor facing the garden where the workers and guest may pass by, make sure to dress before opening the blinds.

We spent one night out of the two becos the country was going on lockdown due to Covid. What a caring and understanding lady the owner was.....she was so concerned becos we also got stuck halfway there. Hubby and I are surely making our way there sometime soon.The place was nice n clean ,. quiet n the view from our room was fantastic. Thank you so much for everything.

lovely details like flowers, apples and sherry in the rooms, picturesque garden and pretty pool and very good recommendations for where to eat and what to do locally. the only thing was the booking company had said it included breakfast,which it did not but a continental breakfast can be ordered as extra.

Our stay in Oudtshoorn was wonderful. The accommodation is clean and cozy, has a lovely pool and is located in an idyllic area. There are a lot of activities to do in the area, but we only wanted to chill and relax and that was perfect here. The host is friendly and gives good tips. I would recommend it 100%

A small nice location right outside of Oudthoorn (15 km along the R 328. This owner runned guest house is worth the price. Anzue, our host is very kind and considerated. We stayed for 3 nights in October 2021. We focussed on driving the mountain passes and a day trip towards the ocean along the N2.

We were booked to stay the 8th of October at the Glamping tent, Fragipani. When arriving, the owner said she did not have a booking for us. I told and showed her on my phone I phoned the 3rd of march to make the booking telephonically and not through LekkerSlaap because she mentioned about the commission. We spoke for about 4min and she explained everything nicely. All was fine and the booking was made according to me. Again on the 22nd of September I phoned her again and asked if I could pay in cash the R600 and she said that it is fine, when we arrive we can pay cash.She did not want to even take responsibility for the booking that she did not make, and told me 2 of 3 times I probably phoned her when she was driving.....using this as an excuse. She told me she is the only one working there so I had to speak to her. Told me next time I had to make sure of the booking confirmation...…REALLY!!! After confirming we will not be booking through LekkerSlaap to save her money.We booked into Africamps just down the road. Much better value for money.

A must stop if you are planning to stay in or around the Oudtshoorn area. Beautiful surroundings, very cozy and neat accommodation. Friendly and caring service that elevates the experience. Braai and pool facilities, perfect for a weekend getaway.

This is a great place to stay, and we cant recommend it highly enough. Spotlessly clean, in a very quiet and peaceful location. The guest house is perfectly situated between the Congo Caves and Oudtshoorn, not far from the Buffelsdrift Game Lodge. We would like to mention that every detail and every corner of the interiors and exteriors are built with love and perfect taste. The owner is a lovely lady, with a gentle character of hospitality. The breakfast was impeccable. This may have been the first time we stayed here, it certainly wont be the last! Baie dankie tannie, ons het so lekker gebly. Al was dit so kort!

Fell in love with this place, owners and staff extremely pleasant and welcoming. Had a room booked in guest house and daughter and fiancé were glamping which I would have loved if there was a tent free. Would highly recommend this as quality stop over and thanks to staff for making it so special.

Die Fonteine Guest House offers everything one would want or need. From a level of privacy, beautiful nature spaces, sight seeing and interesting places in close proximity. This is not only an overnight facikity but truly a place to spend your full holiday if you wanted too. Great service and classy facility!

We had a wonderful time at Die Fonteine guesthouse. Room was big and comfortable . Everybody was very friendly and the breakfast great.

Made a booking online and asked to arrive late as we were driving from PE (we were drving to CT from DBN and stopping in a number of places). Paid the 50% reservation fee when booking was made. I was in communication with the owner during the journey to confirm that we are still on the way.On arrival at 11 pm, we were told that we could not stay because small kids are not allowed ( No indication of such on the web)So 11pm we were turned back with a 2 year old and had to look for a place to stay in a place that we do not know, after driving forever and getting lost a few times.Luckily after a few calls we found awesome accommodation not too far from there but had to pay again for that. Horrible experience.

Fantastic peaceful location. Lovely gardens and a very good swimming dam to the rear of the gardens. Owners are very friendly and made us most welcome. Honesty bar for cold drinks. Owners now offer evening Bbq in a fantastic braai at the bottom of the garden. Two very friendly resident dogs complete this little piece of heaven. Will be back soon for a much longer stay

We had a very nice stay for one night a few months ago. Didnt have much time to see everthing around but a very relaxed environment and beautiful gardens.
