DISCRIMINATION!so disappointed and angry!!!Today (08.Oct.2022we were with 2 Children there at around 20:00. The restaurant was very busy, there was no big table on that floor and their waiter told us, that we could check our self on the upstairs. We found a free table with normal chairs, but another waiter did not allow us to sit there because we are with children. If this is an Adult only restaurant, we will not be there.We didnt argue with that waiter because we didnt want to our kids know the discrimination.I cannot change the restaurant but at least I can share the info. Hopefully no more discrimination to other kids anymore.

I have already visited their branch in Skyline plaza but I feel that this branch is better in terms of service. Really friendly staffs and great ambiance.I also tried one of their signature cocktails and it was good. Fish N chips, Falafel Salad bowl, burger etc. all of them tasted really nice. I had a nice time here. Keep up the good work!!

Long waiting times. In the end paid without having received the food.

Their homemade passion fruit lemonade and lime mint tea are pretty good, as well as their currywurst. Fries were crispy and good. Just note that their tiramisu cake does not taste like tiramisu at all but it was still pretty delicious as a cake itself! I think they used almond biscuit for the crust and it was good!Restaurant felt kinda warm and stuffy though.

I’ve lived in Germany for over 7 years and honestly… this is the worst service I’ve ever had. Even after getting attention of my specific waitress, we were ignored. I would highly recommend avoiding this travesty if an establishment. I’m very forgiving but this is ridiculous.I’ve been to several Alex locations and this is by far the worst in the country.I’ll never return and I hope this is taken I to consideration.

Great location, excellent service. We really liked our stay! Tortes were delicious, but the cocktail was a bit too sweet for me. Nevertheless we had a lovely time.

Relaxed, airy restaurant with good food at reasonable prices. Rooftop views out floor to ceiling windows open in good weather for a nice breeze. Breakfast buffet plentiful with many choices to satisfy even the young child or aging senior.

This was the worst restaurant I have been to. We had to choose our table and as soon as we sat down we were told that we only have an hour left even though we asked at the door whether the kitchen was still open. We went with 2 kids there …Bad customer service

I wanted to give a proper look to "the mall with the hole". Then I saw cool arts, beautiful views and the food floor...wow I ate at Alex. Best schnitzel I had during my trip in Frankfurt.

Tasty dishes and trendy/contemporary interior. Service was okay. Was more friendly tonother guests than to us. Tip was refused without a reason...strange.We give it another try in the future.

Alex has a very cool view and a nice atmosphere. The food wasnt out of this world but for the price it was good. They have happy hour for the cocktails until 22hrs. The cocktails werent good at all. The 3 stars goes for the food compered to the price you pay. The location is also nice.

CRISPY CHICKEN 🥗 have you tried it?! Fresh bed of greens, shredded carrots, mound of rice, Lima beans, crunchy nuts, Crackling chicken and fresh dressing🤩 no bad egg here, we also tried the Caesar wrap. Take the squad they need to go✨

Lovely food and friendly staff.

The crispy chicken Asian salad is a strange mixture of ingredients that doesn’t really constitute Asian food. The place is quite hectic inside a mall. It does have a lot of glass which makes it bright with a partial view of the city.

Awesome place for drinks and food

Terrible service, food came with no cutlery on the table, pasta came with no chicken breast. So they threw a schnitzel on top of it after I complained. I would have left it if I wasn’t so hungry. No apologies from staff who had a bad attitude

Delicious dishes..We’ve eaten in this restaurant so many times so nice food. The staff were little bit slow to get you what you want but overall experience was good.

Nice place in Zeil where you can take a coffee or enjoy a good breakfast or brunch. There is plenty of space and tables inside.The menu is quite long and includes cocktails, all types of food and wine.

This is a very nice restaurant. They serve amazing breakfast brunch with variety of foods for only 9.90€ and the food is really good. The services are great too and its very spacious and cute. I would highly recommend this

We were treated terribly because we didnt speak German. With his face and manners the waiter showed that he wasnt happy to see us there, the evening was spoiled. When the food was ready he almost threw the plate to the table, as if we were dogs. We were two neatly dressed and polite people, there is no reason why someone should treat us this way.

The view of the city center is spectacular. Good coffee and desert.

Very bad service We ordered one plate of waffle at 10:30 PM till 11:00 PM the order didn’t arrive although several times we asked the waiter he us to say 2 minutes we left and the order didn’t arrive very very bad service

Nice Place with a good Atmosphere. Great cozy Seats. Really tasty food. Good variety of food, meat and vegeterian dishes and bevarages. The prices are totally fine for the food you get also consider being in the center of Frankfurt. While you eat you can enjoy a nice view, tho the building on the other side, disturbs it a little bit...

Extremely bad service. Avoid!Very long waiting time. The drinks came after we had finished with the food. Both food and drinks orders were wrong. The bill as well.The worst part was the waiter. Not only he didnt apologize, but he was very aggressive during all interactions. What is more he would speak no English.It seems that the management does not care about the numerous negative reviews here.Edit: I decited to visit again. I ordered an Irish coffee. The coffee was served cold. Disappointing once more

The worst service and the worst food that ever concurred to me in my life. Some of the food is over cooked and the others are not cooked at all and 2 of our main order didn’t come to after 30min so we cancelled the last order. Don’t even try to go there.

Very good resturant.-The salads were fantastic. In my opinion, it is a must try.- The pastas overall were delicious.- English menus are available.- The service was good.- The decor and seats were nice and comfy.I highly recommend that you give this place a try.

Food(brunchis good but service depends on the waiter/waitress. The one with moustache does not speak a word of English and he forces me to understand/speak in German. He was serving in the terrace side around 12h30 on 08.12.2019. Its pitiful to leave a bad comment for this nice place because of one waiter..

The service was extremely bad, specifically when it comes to the staff. Waiterss was totally uninterested to take an order, it took ages to get the food. It was a bad experience. One and only time that they saw me there.

Pay attention when you are ordering. The Shop trys to rip you off where they can. If the waiter asks do you want mayo or Ketchup it does not mean it is part of the food you are ordering but you have to pay extra for it even though the waiter asks you immediately for the sauce instead of asking if you want extra sauce to it. This goes for everything and is something con artists do. The food at best was ok (had a Currywurst therebut way overpriced for what it actually was in the end. My best advice is be cautious when you are ordering there or best avoid the place completly

Food is perfect, but the catering service is not so good. We got a differet drink what we ordered. And they served starters together with the main food 😒

Great location, decor and friendly staff. Unfortunately very understaffed, resulting in long waiting times and errors in orders during peak times (40 minutes for a beer).

Very slow and bad service. Waited for 30 mins till they notice us and waited for another 30 mins till our order is here... while waiting for our order I approached to the waitress and ask nicely its been awhile since we ordered may I know how long more till our order is here and she replied look here theres many orders for her to serve... disappointed

Please say thank you to the 2 waitresses on Sunday night who looked after me and my brother with their brilliant hospitality. TheyFood was great and the yogurt dessert lovely. Cozy place with kind and friendly waiters. The fries and lemonade were exceptional.My beef on the burger was horribly overdone though.

The interior was very impressive and the location is really perfect. Our problem was only with the stuff. We ordered a drink and food. The drink came without ginger even though we ordered it with and the waiter even wrote that down, the waiter who brought the drink had no idea if it had ginger in it or not and we had to wait till we got the attention of the original waiter who then said hell take care of it. He then brought us pieces of ginger (you can see in the picture I uploaded). My friend was surprised and asked him to please crush it and add it to the drink properly. He then came back and said the drink was wrong anyway and now he has the right drink. After waiting 20 minutes for the food, a third waitress this time German came with my friends food and I asked her about tap water, she looked at me weirdly and kind of ignored my question, of it is possible to get some, she didnt even say no just looked at us with disgust. I went straight to the bar and asked the bar tender if he could please fill up my bottle with water. He gladly took my bottle and started filling it up with water from one of the taps. The German waitress saw this and shouted at him straight away that he should stop and pour the water out and give me water from a different tap. She was furious at him.So in conclusion I think the staff is somewhat unqualified but what really bothered me was the way the German waitress spoke to the other non German worker and the way she looked at us in disgust. I think it might be difficult for German to understand non Germans and to get the non Germans to understand them, but theres a way to do that. Either you hire non Germans and qualify them (including teaching them the necessary German wordsor you dont hire them as all. I think its too difficult for Germans and non Germans to get along with all the stress of work and without the proper qualification. Non of my friends are ever coming back here, you could really feel how stressed the waiters were and thats not somewhere you want to eat. The place wasnt even full! Theres got to be a nicer way the German waiters can treat the non Germans.

So delicious food and perfect service and decorating

Just had my breakfast. Food was good and fresh. The place has a nice view and very modern design, its also very bright amd cosy. The staffs were very confused, took me a while to get someone to explain me how the breakfast works. Some training for them would make the experience much better. Anyway I recommend it.
