Di Zucchero - Pizza restaurant in San Juan, Puerto Rico
Love this place. Great for breakfast and dinner. Great service!
Place was great. Friendly. Pet Friendly wich I ❤️. Food took a little bit dont know what was going on, but that French toast was delicious 😋. @shadow_the_D.O.G was loving it. Will definitely come back here 💯.
Our the best meal in puerto rico 🇵🇷, thank you! The best pizza! and coffe!
Pizza was ok, bit I had a pasta dish that wasnt good. The pasta was under cooked, but the pesto sauce and veggies made it better.
I had a breakfast today at this place. I ordered omelette and just said the name of it from menu only. Waiter brought omelette with cheese and vegetables and didn’t tell us that it was extra and we had to pay for that. This is unfair that stuff tried to charge us extra without telling us nothing about extra payment !
Excellent service . Nice outdoor patio . Food was delicious and get ready to eat a lot . Portions are big .
It was amazing coming here, Tony is an amazing/ happy person and he helped us all through. I’m definitely coming back here
Can order from the menus of the surrounding restaurants if you want which is a nice option. Had the country homestyle rice which was excellent, added a kan kan pork chop to go with it. Plenty of food, left very full and was unable to finish my meal. Staff was great.
Incredible pizza, great breakfast and awesome staff! Make a stop in if you are staying nearby. Worth it.
Incredible agave margarita, pizza, and fish tacos. Tony provided exceptionally great service. 10/10 would recommend.
Very good. The service and the atmosphere was great. Very accommodating for large groups.(we had 16)
Great service food was good. I had a Caesar salad with chicken and portion was big and delicious.
Delicious food, it’s three different type of menus in one place! The mojitos are some of the best I’ve ever had. I got the pesto primavera and it was amazing! Great service and great food! Def recommend if your in the are!
Welp, were divorcing. After 27 years of marriage, my husband and I agreed we need to divorce since we just realized our true loves are the pizza at this place and the Ocean Lab (local brewerybeers they serve. Service, vibe and music were also on point. Our young adult kids agreed this pizza is da bomb! Wow.
Breakfast was really good! The pizza we had for dinner was as well but a long wait. No where to sit while waiting and once you are seated, and order it takes a while for food to come. It was good.
The vibe here is so cute with vintage chandeliers and vine plants. Our waiter was very friendly and energetic for how late we went into the restaurant (9:30PM). He told us that the place used to be 3 restaurants, now you can order from any of the other 2 menus all in one space. We ordered the 4 cheese pizza and the La Palomita pizza. Both were delicious. The size of a pizza is big enough to split, especially if you get an appetizer. The China Doll drink was my favorite, highly recommend.
The food was absolutely delicious. Iced latte was great but best of all was the service- by far the best waiter we had during our stay in San Juan. I believe his name was Jorge - had a ponytail and braces. Definitely recommend for a delicious brunch
I was going to give this place a bad review because they gave me the wrong pizza and I had to walk all the way back after I was in my hotel room BUT the pepperoni pizza was DELICIOUS. Just make sure you LOOK at your pizza before you take it home.
1st place we had breakfast and was so impressed how fresh everything was we had mango mimosas and eggs Benedict also fresh fruit with the waffles 🧇 😋 just amazing and they have lots of options when it comes to or whatever ur looking for!!! Must try it wont disappoint you at all and our waitress spoke good English which helps us out alot
Ok here we go again..... The greeters attitude was horrible. Her actions spoke these words.... Its a great thing I came to work today so we can serve you. This attitude is pretty consistent in San Juan. However, the server came to the rescue and pulled out all stops in accommodating us for the rest of our visit. I gave my liver a break and had water. My son on the other hand had a Moscow Mule and liked it. We both had their personal size and we each still took 4 slices. Definitely would recommend to all my friends.
Great place for brunch! The food was really good and so was the service. Reasonable price as well. Highly recommend!
After having read such good reviews, I decided to try this restaurant. It was a mistake. It took a long time to be served. The food came cold. I wanted a simple scampi over pasta. What I got was pasta tossed with diced raw tomatoes, a few pieces of basil, and steamed shrimp cocktail on top. There was no olive oil, garlic and white wine reduction, as it says on the menu. All I asked was to leave out the cream. I recommend going to Serafina down the street. Food and service was much better.
Great food and over 100 different types of beer. Server was very knowledgable about the ingredients and cooking methods and helped us navigate our food allergies with ease.
They have a big lighted sign that says “pet friendly,” but refused to let me and my [well-behaved] dog enter because she’s not a service dog and the few outdoor tables they had were occupied. The hostess wasn’t very friendly either and seemed surprised at the idea of a pet entering a “pet-friendly” place.
My first time here. Great place to eat. Fish tacos are delicious. Went back the next day for breakfast; had the western omelet, enjoyed it also. Service was great, friendly, and professional. Definitely will be visiting again.
Actually pretty disappointed by this place. The food was slightly mediocre and fairly lukewarm. Service was completely inattentive. Ive visited San Juan numerous times and understand the concept of island time, but this was pushing that way too far. It took effort just to give them my card to pay the check. Pizzas are remarkably small for how expensive they are, go to Via Appia down the road. Unexpected charges for extras that were not made clear when ordering. Frustrating experience, had high hopes
We walked in and they let us know they were out of water, coffee, and we couldnt use the bathroom. That shouldve been our sign to walk out. Server was okay but it seemed like he didnt want to deal with us. Food wasnt bad but everything was served on plastic plates, forks, cups, etc. For those prices it better not be served with some dollar store utensils and plates.
Great experience. We originally wanted to go up to the wine bar but there was a decent wait. The wait staff was ver friendly and told us we can order from all 3 menu no matter what restaurant we were sat at. We were able to be sat sooner this way and it was so nice to try a bit from every menu.
This restaurant is wonderful. Very friendly, polite staff. The pizza is excellent. Thin crust -NY style pizza. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Phenomenal place, loved the atmosphere, the staff were amazing Really like that the waiter helped my girlfriend with choices for vegetarian, didnt just throw out BS.The drinks are amazing also, well worth every penny. The food didnt take a long time and the presentation was great. I will be back
We had a delicious brunch on Sunday then came back during the week for an excellent hand-tossed wood-fired pizza. Excellent food, service and atmosphere, and we especially lucked out with our bartender José who was delightful and gave us lots of ideas of places to go during our stay.
Great service! Our server was the jolliest and nicest person. The vegan pizza was really good and my son’s calamari was delicious. They served it with slices of pita and some tasty garlicky sauce. Their fish taco serving was a good value - $11.00 for 3. However, it was really salty.
This restaurant is right across the street from the San Juan Marriott - where we were staying. While the sign says pizza, the breakfast here is among the best weve ever had. Prices are very reasonable (you are in a cityand the portions are generous. We went to this restaurant a total of seven times during our week in Puerto Rico (five times for breakfast). Service is very friendly, food is delicious. The French toast is a masterpiece - seriously - and tastes better than it looks.
A place in Condado to go to for breakfast, brunch, pizza, and some pasta dishes. My wife and I went for pizza for lunch. We had a Marguerita pizza and a pepperoni pizza. They make them a personal size only and both were delicious. The passion fruit mimosas were a great accompaniment as well, so if you are in the Condado area, stop by and try this place. I am quite sure you will enjoy it all as I did.
We stopped by to get a quick coffee since Starbucks was closed. They have great latte and we have an appetizer of Crab and Shrimp Tacos and they were delicious. Highly recommend to stop by here. We wanted to save our appetite since we had reservations at a restaurant later in the day.
Its pricey but totally worth it. I had the Fiesta Pancakes and they were like nothing Ive ever had.
Great experience and great pizza. If you have not been here you need to try the pizza.
I cannot brag enough about this place! Enjoying a honeymoon brunch in a rather…. Exciting and dramatic week thanks to Airbnb. We are tired, and just wanted to stop somewhere for food. We lucked upon this place, had no wait, received the BEST SERVICE EVER FROM SCARLY, and the food came out quickly and was just TOP NOTCH. We definitely enjoy the bottomless brunch mimosas for only $18, as well!! One million stars, we will be back before we leave in two days.
Here for my honeymoon enjoying a stroll of the strip, came upon Di Zucchero Restaurant. Sunday night NFL football playing and I had to stop in. Great atmosphere, food is amazing. Had the fish tacos and the Maradonna Pizza. Desert was strawberry cheesecake.... 1 word delicious. I will return during my stay. Awesome waitress & food.
Absolutely amazing place to have Pasta. You can order food from 2 other restaurants here 1950 and Bodegar. We ordered Tostones from 1950 which was alright not too good, We also ordered Pesto primavera which was so good we got it again while leaving the city. Last, we ordered a vegetarian pizza with everything except tomatoes and asparagus (because why?), which also turned out great.A worth visit for their location and pasta.
Pretty much like most of the places in Puerto Rico the wait. The wait to get in and be seated was around 45 minutes and waiting on the food was about another 25 or so. But once the food came out it was hot and fresh. Atmosphere was very nice, customer service was good, and there was social distancing. I would go back again but I recommend making reservations.
The food is amazing! Service is good.
Amazing food, great service. A truly great over all experience 100% recommendation.
Best breakfast I have found in Puerto Rico! The Eggs Toste Alla Romana are incredible (and at $9 a great deal too)! The chicken and eggs was also surprisingly delicious. I think it would be hard to go wrong here.
Fantastic breakfast! Everything was delicious-- from the cafe americanos, the gorgeous fruit plate, yummy potatoes to the perfectly done veggie omelette. Our waiter was very nice and service was great also. Highly recommend!
Coffe was good, food cooked well and served with care. Everything was laid out on the plate nicely and not just tossed on the plate. Made for very nice presentation. Likewise the staff was very friendly. We went for breakfast. Plan to return for other meals!
One of my favorite places to eat while in PR. Cant go wrong with any pasta dish. Although they over cook the brick oven pizza often, it still taste great. They make the pizza right in front of you.Absolutely recommend this place.
I unintentionally came here for brunch. I was planning on going somewhere else before heading to conado beach, but got sucked in with the food options on the menu and the fact it said bottomless mimosa. I honestly dont regret my decision in coming here. Their brunch option was wonderful! And they had different flavors of tropical mimosas. The staff here were awesome, and delightful.
Great experience here, food came out quickly and was delicious. Had their antipasto, calamari and fresh mojitos. Service was exceptional and waitstaff very friendly. Saw some amazing pizzas come out for other customers and enjoyed a nice evening sitting outside relaxing and people watching...
Very fast service and decent prices considering that the place is located in the tourist area. The pizza was great and they have a large selection of beers, theres no parking.
