Dont come here if you want to get mugged.Awful experience. Food okay. However, night was dominated by an experience where the restaurant allowed a street kid to come in and threaten us and mug us without intervention.Upon telling the restaurant staff, they were shocked. Clearly not shocked enough though - as they charged us the full amount WITH service after a huge inexplicable delay in trying to decide what to do. Unbelievable.This is an example of how not to deal with a situation where the customer has had a terrible experience. They did call the police, who looked at the camera footage.Stay away from Trattoria Di Silvia if you want to be safe as a tourist.On receiving this feedback they called the police, only to then prevent us from leaving, then charged us the full amount despite numerous discussions about giving us a discount for being mugged in

I’m giving this 5 starts definitely for the food but specially for our waiter Ramiro. The place seems a bit understaffed since he was the only one serving around where we were which was about 5-6 tables, it took a bit at first but since he was the only one we understood. My fiancé has a lethal nut allergy and the only issue was that her dish still came with some almonds even after we asked them not to put them. Once I took it back, it only took about 5 minutes to give her the new dish and safely without almonds. The only bad thing was the waiting to be attended but that’s not the waiter’s fault it’s the restaurants for being understaffed. Other than we had a delicious meal, the pizza was outstanding and the sangria as well. Definitely recommend since this may be one of the very few places in Cartagena with actual good Italian food.

The initial impression given by the disinterested receptionist was enough to make us walk out. But having found ourselves a table we were glad we stayed. Food, wine and table service excellent. We will choose to ignore the lazy, lackadaisical reception staff.

Below average. My pasta was overcooked and sooo oily/greasy. Had far too much cheese in it and was not authentic. My boyfriend also did not enjoy his pizza. Im not sure why the reviews are so good here, we were disappointed.

Simply delicious. The quality and food taste were amazing. Also, the facilities were so cool, with a really good ambiance.

The place is a 10/10, the food is delicious, the prices are very affordable comparing the cost of another same restaurants near in Cartagena that are more expensive.

We had very nice meal. I try Carbonara everywhere & this one was excellent as was Calamari. Nice outdoor ambiance. Nice portions at very reasonable prices 👍

Not sure what the hype is about. My Margarita came with individual slices of tomato which was odd. Not particularly tasty or authentic. The space is pretty lovely.

This restaurant was lovely. The interior atmosphere was brilliant and equipped with water misters to keep you cool. I had a salmon pesto pasta and it was very tasty. A perfect spot for an evening meal.

Too little tomato sauce on the pizza for my taste.

Delicious, authentic, and most likely the freshest Italian food you will find in Getsemani. Make sure to get there around 6-7pm or you’ll be waiting in a line. Word spreads quickly!! Everything from appetizers to desert was exceptional.

It was a busy place and the wait was quite long. I did start to rain during our stay, which might have caused the delay due to people moving inside. The pizza was surprisingly good. Tasty, crispy and thin. The pasta carbonara however was made with cream, which was unfortunate.

Delicious Italian food in a nice setting with lots of outdoor seating. The lasagnas were amazing and the pasta well prepared and tasty. We enjoyed the outdoor patio with large fans.

This is one of the best pasta and pizza restaurants in Cartagena. Everything was delicious. The resuatrsnt is pet friendly only if you dog is a small breed, since they have a family of cats living in the restaurant.Every waitress is friendly and attentive to your needs. I strongly recommend trying the "Pizze Trattoria".

This is the best pizza place ever in Cartagena!!! You have to try it if you like thin crust pizza. We ordered the diavola pizza (this one is spicyand the mela-manzana. The place has a great atmosphere and the staff makes you feel like you are more than welcome. I go to this restaurant every once in a while and it is always a good choice.

This place was so good, fresh pasta and great service, I need to highlight the food was ready really fast something I really appreciated since we were just arriving to cartagena… My recommendations are the Pasta Di Silvio (really good, Pasta Gnochi Quattro formaggi and the Pasta primavera

We were looking for a place to enjoy a good atmosphere and good food and we found it.This restaurant really captures a great night out. The pizzas were excellent and the price was fair.The rooms are very nicely decorated from an old restored building that works as the frame for the place. There are more than 8m to the roof, which helps with the cooling of the rooms together with ceiling fans.The menu card offers a selection of Italien.

We had walked this place a couple of times, and the one night we decided to try it. Everything was delicious, the pizza was very different from anywhere else I’ve had. The crust was more like pita but it was perfect. The tiramisu was delicious.

The place is nice, but the food is not very good. First off the sangria is watered down. The pasta I got was very salty and my girlfriend’s dish was flavorless. Service was fast and our waiter was attentive.

First time here, our dishes were great. My wife had the Marinera (Seafoodpasta 🍝, I had the pasta Alfredo. Had them add some shrimp 🍤. Delicious

Great option for Italian food in Cartagena. We made a reservation but you could also do walk-in. They have three seating areas. We were put in the garden area. Decor was great. Prices are decent. Would definately return.

Very friendly and good service, food was very good and with different flavors. Decor and ambiance is amazing. There was easy parking (paid, in a private lot less than a block from there). Pizzas were very good and so were the pastas. They have two Inter la patios that are very well decorated, and allow you to eat outside but away from the noise and bustle of the area. Highly recommend this if you are in the area and looking for pizza/ pasta.

Ive been here a few times, and it is a cool place to enjoy. There are dining areas inside, outside, upstairs, etc. The food is really good. Ive had a couple of their pizzas, and lasagne. Pretty tasty! They do have cats wandering around, but they dont bother you.

Delicious pizza. I ordered 3 different flavors and I was satisfied with all of them. I also ordered a frozen margarita but it was not what I expected. I will be back for the pizza. The service was excellent.

This is my 2nd time here because the food was good but the waiters don’t check on you. The first time I came here I ordered my food and then the server never came back . After waiting for a lifetime I had to go in search of my check. I came back because the food was good and this time I was unable to order because the server decided he didn’t want to attempt to talk to me idk if he thought I don’t speak any Spanish which I do but after waiting almost 20 minutes and seeing him pass by my table without even looking my way I was irritated and said finally. Cause I’ve been waiting and waiting. Which he replied that he didn’t know! Like that’s why your supposed to attend to your guests/ tables. Not even offering an apology before disappearing and still not coming back. No drink no food . The service here is terrible. A sorry but can I take your order goes a long way. I’m literally sitting without a drink without any food without the waiter even attempting to take my order writing a review. Terrible service

To be honest I’m not really sure what all the hype is about this place. The pizza to me was that super thin and crispy typical Colombian pizza. Not at all Italian style. I thought the pasta was tasty, but nothing special. And service was average at best for colombia, but definitely below average for Cartagena, as I experiences very good service in most of the places I went. I’m giving them 4 stars because nothing was bad, but nothing was great either. Not worthy of a second visit for me.

The place is very nice and with a good vibe. The food experience is mixed. The burrata di bufala was super small, the bread accompanying it was as if it was from yesterdays supermarket (meanwhile they make fresh pizzas). The pasta was very nice and so was the fresh mango juice. The service was basic, they do what they have to, nothing else, my table was dirty for most of the time as well as the space under the table.

Great food and great service. Very reasonable prices on wine and a good selection. We are coming back tomorrow. We asked for “al dente” pasta and our waiter Haníbal took special care to make sure the pasta was perfectly cooked. Try the Vongole, deliciously spicy!

We ordered the Di Silvio pizza two salads and two pasta entrees. The pizza was amazing, crust perfect and a good combination of ingredients where nothing overpowered the other. The salad was fresh with a delicious vinaigrette that was light and tasty. Both pastas were cooked just right. The sauces were very delightful.

Pizza was so sweet it tasted like a dessert pizza. Took one bite out of one slice and was told by our server that too much of it was eaten to send it back and get something else. Tried to salvage what we could of the meal, but even scraping the soggy onion topping off, there was literally no other flavor underneath besides sugar.Onions were cooked into an unidentifiable jam-like paste. Just a really gross pizza overall and way overpriced for something inedible. Two stars for ambience (very cool buildingand the drinks, 0 for wildly disappointing food and service.

The location is very cool and has a rustic back-alley charm. The food, vine and service was good.

Really like the food and atmosphere. If you want an outdoor table, reserve ahead, every time I go they tell me they’re all reserved. Only issue I’ve had every time is that their white wine is not cold.

Highly recommended. We went on a Monday for dinner and we had to queue around 30 minutes, so try to book in advance.

Spent 2.5 weeks in Cartagena and this was my favorite food there. The prices are good too and wonderful atmosphere!

The Robalo (Seargent Fishwas not bad, same with the eggplants. Also tried two different pizzas (Salmon/Hawaiianand the taste itself was good but I didnt like the thin, crispy crust.Inside the decor is really nice and service was also good but the food (both starter and main course dishestook a LONG time and the restaurant was practically empty.

Absolutely loved this place ❤ Food was delicious, the portions were generous and the drinks were great as well. When I came i was actually able to catch part of happy hour which i believe was 5-7pm and it was buy one get one on certain cocktails...My bill came out to the equivalent of $17 USD for an appetizer, entree, two Mojitos and tip... How amazing is that?! I also loved the decor and ambiance at this place as well. Lots of kitty cats here too but the mama cat looked kinda skinny unfortunately. Its right in the Getsemani neighborhood and right next to Plaza Trinidad.After dinner I was able to get a Gelato, sit in the square and people watch for a little bit before going back to my Airbnb for the night. I actually intended to come back here again before I left but just didnt have the time. The next time I come back to Cartagena Im definitely stopping by this place.

I can’t believe I paid only $15 for my appetizer pasta , alcoholic and non alcoholic drink. everything was perfect . Restaurant was bring beautiful and clean. Staff very attentive. I ate here three times during my stay , and the staff remembered me each time haha.

Delicious Italian food in Cartagena!I ordered the vegetarian pasta and it was up to par to pastas I’ve had in Italy. Great ambiance with an incredibly refreshing constant air flow throughout the establishment. Not too expensive in comparison to many overpriced restaurants in Cartagena. (Obviously very affordable for US and European standards)

The venue looks absolutely amazing. It is very open, with lots of window, beautiful bricks and greenery.The food is meh. I waited 20 minutes for the most basic dish vegetarian penne pasta. I was alone and I paid immediately to take the food home. I was presented with 1.5 cups of pasta with very little seasong and refineries something I could have made at home for less.Aside from the venue aethetics and low prices, this place is a no go for me, especially when it comes to eating quality tasty ColombItalian food.

excellent food excellent space and good service. this is how this restaurant should be rated from my point of view, prompt and timely attention.The decoration of the place is incredible you feel like in a totally different place.For me if you are looking for a place to have a good time and enjoy a good meal, this is the place.

I arrived just around closing time, but was still well-served. The ambience is inviting and relaxing, and the lasagna was cooked wonderfully...not overcooked or undercooked and made with a pleasant blend of cheeses and Italian sausage.The accompanying bread was sufficient but could be better..it was fresh and soft, but nothing interesting to the pallet. A decent selection of wines, mixed drinks, whiskey, and cervesas.

Our group had a great time at this Italian place. The restaurant is divided into two separate rooms, on two corner buildings across the street from each other. There was a 30 minute wait in a Sunday night but it’s worth it. Service was fine, the food was much better. The pastas are amazing, with a lot of flavor and al dente. The pizzas were very delicious and a quite a good size. When visiting this trendy neighborhood of Getsemaní, make sure to swing by this place, you’ll be glad you did.
