Oh my god, they have plenty of variety type puttu.. first of all, I just confused that which one is good and not. And the ambience level too good. And the people in their too friendly with us. The rate wise it is in an affordable one. If you are a lover of puttu, you can choose this place.

Overpriced restaurant.. Dishes are visually more appealing than its taste. A must go place for Puttu lovers. Staff are nice and quick. Plenty of space and ideal for family dining. But menu items looked overpriced. Not enough parking space. Accept all modes of payment.

Nice place for a family to have food when you feel like Yes lets go and have something different from outside. Nice ambience. Great collection of dishes. Slightly on the costlier side but as I said before... Can go and have something different.

Probably more varieties of Puttu than you could ever come up with. Its quite tasty and different. Ambience is out of the world compared to most restaurants

The food was fine, but it would have been better if they had priced it in a more friendly way. When you order, you actually pay for a small piece of puttu and a curry. So one person would spend about near rs 250/- and would have eaten the basic dish in the menu.But overall, the experience and their hospitality was wonderful. The puttu and the Curry also tasted well.

An ambient spot filled with culture, as can be seen by how the place is decorated from the inside. I tried the Punjabi House Puttu, and strawberry shake. The puttu was delicious(filled with paneer and mushroomsand so was the shake (although a little too sweet). The staff was always smiling and polite. The black tea and papads there are on the house and are refilled indefinitely. The service was timely and I never once had to call for a waiter, they somehow always knew the perfect moment.

Its very good place, ample parking space, and food is really good.Only confusion is that all the menu item is name is Dileep movie and we find it difficult to know whats the content of the food.We had janapriyan , ring master ( sea foodand beef curry, fish curry and neymeen curry.

"Dhe Putt" is a restaurant running by the famous malayalam film actor Dileep.This restaurant is located near mini bye-pass road, Puthiyara, Kozhikode.Wide range of "puttukal"(steam cakesare available here.For eg:Chicken biriyani put, spanish delight putt, Egg putt, etc etc...Some food items are named like his (Dileeps)own film characters (Runway putt, Ringmaster putt,Kunjikkoonan etc....)

Being a frequent visitor here, today I was really disappointed about the service and the food quality. The food tasted very bland, few of the dishes were missing, the payasam was very watery, the rice felt overcooked.Wouldnt suggest anybody to have lunch after 3 from this place.OLD REVIEW:I loved the beef here. The unlimited kattan kappi and pappad made the visit worthwhile. The erachiputt was hot and spicy. The beef curry was tasty, although the quantity of beef was less.The ambience and the lighting felt really pleasing. Although i was not a fan of Dhe Putt after trying their ഏഴു സുന്ദര രാത്രികള്‍, tasting the erachiputt and beef curry changed my opinion.The staff were decent and well behaved. I wish they provided water with ice, rather than making me by a big bottle of water.

A place where they serve most of the steamed rice cake variety dishes and fries also most catching was menu added dishes named in term that represent the movie where Actor dileep had acted as well as most theme work of the restaurant have been done on the basis of character he have played with box office hit lists.

Have been wanting to go to this place from the start. Finally had a chance to try this. But due to limited time hardly could explore much. But overall ambience and the item we tried was really good and worth. The sulaemani which they keep serving was hav a bit too much masala. Else it would have been great. Will go and try out other items too.

The best place in Calicut to have the fresh and hygienic puttu . The puttu here is very tasty. The best thing about this restaurant is that it is very clean and well maintained. The Sulaimani which is served at the beginning of each meal is one among the highlights. Overall the restaurent has great ambience, excellent menu from which Ezhu sundara rathrikal was my pick. Its economical, clean and healthy to have food from here.

Great great fooding experince from there. I came to know that there is so many types of puttu available in kerala only.after visiting dhe puttu. Never ever forget the taste of puttu that I had from there. Great initiative by dileep and wishing all the success. Im out of words when reviewing dhe puttu. Great ambiance and good service and good food... treat for Puttu Lovers !!! Located just few kms away from center of town... this place looks awesome... the theme of the hotel is well maintained and the ambiance was excellent... Service was excellent and deserves 5* for itself... ordered Feied prawns which tasted fantastic!! Chick Biriyani puttu and Seafood putty tasted good... didnt get any chicken biriyani flavour but it tasted good !!! I asked for some Hot desert the waiter suggested aval banana mixture(dont know the exact namewhich was off the menu... which tasted worse !!! Other than that everything was find and worth the money !!!

Puttu is deceptively heavy on the stomach. The dishes were pretty decent. Chicken dish was announced as beef when it was brought in causing alarms at the table.Not much choice of fish items and taste was average. Overall a one time visit

I had been here on Nov 28 During my recent Visit to Kozhikode. As welcome draink they will give Black Lemon Tea. I liked it and You get very Puttu here with Verity of both Veg and Non Veg curry. Ambience is nice and well Maintained. Food taste is awesome but price is Higher side compared other near by Restaurant like "Sagar" Restaurant. But worth Visiting here interms of Food Quality and Ambience...

Very good for traditional putty in any different varieties. Veg varieties are less, very good for non vegetarian. Always serve hot puttus. For the waiting time they serve the keralas special spice tea with unlimited. Complement Pappad also very good with unlimited serve. Very good to bring with your family or group of persons. Prices are about red average but worth for the taste and hospitality.

This is my first time going to a dhe puttu outlet. First impressions was decent enough. No rush even though on a busy Sunday. The food was very filling and with moderate pricing and beautiful ambience it is surely mind blowing. We tried 3 different styles of food they offered , a puttu thali , a non veg puttu (7 sundara rathrikaland a malabari chicken biryani. It may seem the biryani is not worth for 190rs due to its less quantity but its quality and taste is superb. The thali was also not bad but the 7sr nonveg puttu was superb . The best we had there. Will get unlimited pappad and black tea. Overall a superb experience. Would recommend it. Note - GST charged extra.

Ultimate place for Puttu lovers... You can expect the same quality and taste as that of the one in Kochi.. The food is tasty and the staff is courteous... It has good ambience and is neat and well maintained.. The best part of this place is that menu keeps changing now and then and they experiment with different varieties of puttu.. So youll never run out of options

They are are known for their varieties of puttu there. Since the Restaurant belongs to Movie Actor Dileep and Nadirsha, most of the puttu is named after the movies of Dileep.Food is quiet priced high for the puttu comparatively but the ambience and taste is very good.There is parking facility in front of Restaurant.

A nice atmosphere and an interesting menu with lots of modern creations along with or based on traditional Kerala cuisine. The food tasted amazing and was quick and freshly prepared. The service that we met was very friendly, I would have wished for more hospitality and customer care and its a little bit expansive. But still a great place to try.
