Privilege
Little hole in the wall putting out some fantastic food. Must visit if youre in the area and wanna try something new
MoreIts always that you find the best taste in not so great looking place, its not too fancy but man the taste is absolutely amazing. I go here to eat some Nepali thali every other week. And you could even buy frozen MoMo and cook it at home thats the best. I love it.
MoreNo space to eat with family
Here I say it, this restaurant offers the best authenticate Nepali food in US so far. Order anything from the menu, you will be amazed of the quality of food they offer.Dont bother going anywhere else if authenticity is your priority. Its a 2 table tiny restaurant at an intersection. They offer best quality food for a reasonable price. Dont forget to tip them good.
MoreI bought some sel Roti today which is one of the authentic food of nepal but the server served it with his bare hand disrespectfully.
MoreLove the food place is bit small to dine in ...
So delicious and the owners are solid ppl. 100% recommend
I Bought packed ready made Indian spiced tortillas Rotis from supermarket, Taste was horrible, Tasted like something dead inside, was feeling like throwing up so i spit it out threw it out, i saw logo Tawa Restaurant decided to visit them how clean R they so its really tinny funny place on top of Stove they had dead beef hanging, who knows how long it is looked very old thats why Rotis tasted like deadly horrible meat. Plse see pics. Nepalese eat this, Not buying there food 😒 not for me.
MoreI got cheated while buying sukuti from this restaurant.I bought the smallest size of sukuti box n the woman who works there asked me pay $12 for smallest size but today when my fren bought the same size she paid $8!!!Its not the matter of $$$ its called cheating!!!im surprised to see the customer services in nepalese restaurant of jackson heights!!
MoreDecent Nepalese food though the place is quite run down and kind of dirty. Had the roti thali which came with goat, dal, cauliflower, roti and some chutnies. Also tried the sel roti which the lady warned me was premade and they warmed up the in microwave. The sel roti is interesting, almost like a non sweet donut. Worth trying. Decent food but not sure Id come back with all the other options in the area.
MoreTawa Roti is one the best Nepalese- Tibetan food to offer in New York and is definite must for anyone visiting Jackson Heights. I came back after four years since the last time I visited, and never felt so happy and full after that Sukuti! Keep up the good work guys!
MoreThe food isnt good. They give u small portion for the plate. I order curry goat. they only gave me 1 small cup of curry goat. When i asked for refill for the curry goat. they magically said they ran out. I can only get the curry chicken. They only gave me a small cup of curry chicken and say that is my last refill. this place finessed me. charge me $13 for the plate with the small cup of curry goat. so disappointed.
MoreHaven’t been here in literally forever due to the pandemic 😷 but I still didn’t forget about you guys. This restaurant is my favorite in the whole city of New York. Amazing quality , friendly people, and very affordable for everyone. Please don’t close down you guys can’t let me down. I’ll be back when hopefully everything gets better
MoreMy favorite authentic Nepal cuisine thali the best . ( warm , fresh , delicious)
MoreYummy food! Remind me taste of back home! Food you get for the price is very reasonable! Love it! Back home, Nepal atmosphere! 😊😊
MoreThey give lots of food for cheap prices! We loved it and it was the right amount of spicy! It was super delicious, definitely returning!! Mainly recommended eating in since its too much to eat in the car.. Lol
MoreCozy place but love the nepali food. Its delicious 🤤
I come here often with my brother who lived in Nepal for 2+ years. Very authentic, delicious, reasonably priced, great service, friendly staff.
MoreWow! This place is a tiny little hole in the wall, but the food is excellent. The portions are generous, the service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend checking it out.
MoreAbsolutely delicious little restaurant. Very friendly staff helped me with my order. Ate like a king for around 15 bucks!
MoreNot to expensive and the sel roti (made of rice it so good.
A spectacular hole in the wall Nepali restaurant that specializes in roti. Inexpensive, delicious and wildly authentic Tawa offers a trip to Nepal for the price of a MTA ride to Jackson Heights.
MoreThey now have three tables! Good food.
Really good place i was there like 2 weeks ago and thought it was good at the end of the meal I thought the bill was reasonable because of the food and being so good
MoreReally friendly people and yummy food. Loved the thali dishes. Small space with only three tables. Very happy with our experience and hope to come back to try the sel roti.
MoreThis place left my three friends and I speechless. The food was delicious!!! We tried the chicken thali, wai wai sadekho and buff sukuti and all three dishes were some of the best Nepali dishes we’ve ever tasted. Excellent service as well! 10/10 reccomend. GO EAT HERE!
MoreDelicious and flavorful food. Really tiny place but so good.
Food is delicious. My waist grew a few inches from all the food I ate. Small place but authentic Nepalese food. This place is great for spicy lovers. The menu is not super descriptive but the staff is willing to explain or you can always look it up on your phone.
MoreThe pickled vegetables (I dont recall what their properly calledare delicious!
Simply great handmade rotis and excellent selroti. The price is excellent. Service is quick and good. Homely atmosphere
MoreI found the food served here are more healthier and tastier as well with the reasonable price. Like thali, samay bhaji, wai wai sadeko, chana chatpati, momo, hakka noodles and more.
MoreGreat momos with the best sauces in town. Unbeatable chapatis but they dont sell them on Saturdays.
MoreBest food ever...thali is best and momo too❤️❤️😋😋😋
A small place for home made like good Nepalese food. Quick, courteous and friendly service. Food was very tasty. Reasonably priced.
MoreThe food is average...but service was good..also they dnt have hot water in the bathroom...none at all...its very cold water...almost like they are tryinna save on heating bills...not cool.
MoreGreat thali, very good momos! Friendly staff.
Good Nepali food. Very reasonable price. If you dont look around while eating, youre good. Try sel roti hot.
MoreOne time experience in tawa Chana aloo is okay bt chicken curry is terrible they put everything like (nake, leg, wing, skin and something more ..which is really terrible
MoreSmall place good prices, and friendly staff. Thali was simple and satisfying.
Great authentic Nepali food for reasonable price.
My favorite Nepalese place in NYC. Love their Thali and achar, the sel roti is delicious.
MoreThis is one of the best momo place in Queens. They make everything fresh and give plenty of sauce with the looks.
More( It been closed since last two weeks in my notice. Not sure what was the reason, missing that place. There Nepali foods are simply tasty and a reasonable price. I often eat the dish called Veg Thali, which has rice, lentils, two different begs and few different pickles with curd and papad( dry beans snacks ). You can also add varieties of non-veg if you prefer which are tasty too, like chicken and beef also comes in dry chicken and beef. If you cant get enough of their tasty food, you can asked for more add on without extra pay, except on non-veg. There are about ten seats customers capable and kind of busy and crowded most of the time in this small place and it is worth waiting.
MoreIf you are craving for authentic nepalese cuisine this is the place.
They are simply the best. Authentic Nepali food in NY.
Yaha ko momo new york ko best ho. safa suggar khojne lai chai khassai maan na parla 😋
MoreA hidden gem for great Nepali food. They made food for a party for 15 people and everyone loved their food. Perfectly spiced and flavored. Also the selroti (fried sweet rice ringsis the best in town.
MoreExcellent hole in the wall Nepalese spot - very welcoming and happy to explain the menu.
MoreWhenever I go to NY I always make sure to stop by here !! Amazing authentic Nepali Food
MoreThe rotis are excellent and very very fresh. The way mom used to make. They have whole wheat chapatis which are quite healthy as well. This is only for ppl seeking homemade indian/nepali food. Not for people who like a pseudo cultural experience. Stick to junoon pr tamarind if you want ambience...this place is hole in the wall bare bones
