Dhaba Dhanmondi - Indian restaurant in Dhaka, Bangladesh
Dhaba Dhanmondi in Dhaka
Description
Privilege
The revamp looks good. The interior and overall ambiance is much better than before. They have some more food options as well. Overall would recommend if you are looking for a quick meal or for lunch/dinner.
MoreThe place was really comfortable . Perfect for a family dine out . Food was tasty , a bit delayed but not in a concerning level.
MoreA good restaurant in Dhanmondi area with well-planned sitting arrangement. The serving staffs are well mannered, too. The price is a bit exorbitant. Had lunch today with steam rice, green vegetable curry, fish dopiaza, ginger prawn, beef bhuna and thick daal. All the items were finger licking.
MoreLovelyTastyYummy
Nice environment & food also delicious.
Everytime when I go to eat there I feel comfort. The decoration of whole restaurant is great. If anyone wants to go with their family and kids it can be on list. Because they have kids zone. And washroom are well organized. And there Chicken Biriyani, soup, Hidrabiriyani, Fried rice was great. But there Dosha is the worst item in their food list. They have Fouska section. So if you a fouska lover you can give a try.
MoreA Good Restaurant. Food Quality is good with a good service.
Good delicious food and quite timely served, well behaved staff and a pleasant atmosphere. Went with three long lost school friends, enjoined our time there. Recommending the place and definitely will revisit.
MoreMy mom loves their food and environment. Tried their kababs and naan, Chinese platters and biriyani. The food is delicious and affordable. Their fuchka and papri chat are too good. Its a good restaurant for family programs.
MoreTried their chinese items today. I really liked the masala chicken fried rice and sweet and sour prawn. Corn soup and wonton were good too.
MoreIts a huge place, specially suitable for family and huge hangout. They also have kids zone. No smoking zone.I have tried their Bashmoti Kacchi. The quantity was good, taste was average and the amount of meat was not satisfactory in terms of the price.I found most of the foods are expensive, one plate Frech Fry cost 300, that really does not make any senses.Their service was not good enough. We have called the service man multiple time, and they hardly response.
MoreGreat ambience and food was average.Their fuchka panipuri item was above average tho.
MoreIts a good place to have some delicious kebab items.....I really like to calm and quiet environment. The food is good too.
MoreNice for environment but food is not up to the mark. Excellent services
The food here really tastes good. Stuff behavior is very professional. Overall a great experience.
MoreIndian food was very much delicious best restaurant for Indian food in Dhaka. I have been in several places in Dhaka too have Indian food but this was the best.
MoreVarities of food, wide space and open kitchen. There are private corner option as well for 6-8 people. Good place to go with friends and family. Couples can also visit frquently. Food is ok with reasonable price. I liked the environment.
MoreWe went to taste their fuska and it was just awesome. They have different sitting arrangement and family oriented, also has a small kids zone. Very neat and clean environment, recommending to go. Underground there is a parking space but not free as they charge for my bike of 25 bdt.
MoreThe place is very neat and clean I like this place. Very friendly place. Their foods are very delicious but their service is very poor.
MoreThis restaurant is very popular for Indian food, especially Hyderabadi biryani. Unfortunately, the day we visited, Hyderabadi biryani was not available. So we ordered mutton biryani. The indian set menus are quite good as well. The food tastes good. The Doi Phuchka was very good. The reshmi chicken, tandoori chicken, vegetable curry, daal- all are good and go well with butter naan. For dessert we had Faluda. It was okay. The interior is very family friendly. There is kids zone. There is also partitioned spaces where you can spend time with you friends and family. The staff are friendly. But it is a busy place, so sitting and spending a long time is not possible. The price is also on the higher side.
MoreDelicious food and awesome environment.😍 Their staffs were humble. Theres also a play zone for children. Perfect place for family hangout.
MoreA place you can eat untill your tummy is full and dont break you bank. They are most famous for their Dahi Fuchka. They have indian and Chinese/thai food.
MoreVery calm quient and family oriented place with rich continental dishes. Mostly kabab and Indian cetric dises but tase was good. Price is slightly high and nice place for piture lovers. In a very busy place and heart of Dhanmondi it worth a try for heavy meal or snacks.
MoreTesting them for the last 11years. Started them when my wife was my girlfriend, then she became my wife and now shes the mother of my baby. They tests still the same . Wish them good luck
MoreEnvironmental 10/10Service 10/10Food 10/10If you feel complain about the price... You think about the environment they provide 🥰
MoreGood for dinning in with family. Food rating: 7/10, environment and staff behavior: 8/10.
MoreFood was okay but not matching with price level. Ambiance is good for family to friends
MoreIf you are a fuska lover.. U can go and enjoy there dhaba spacial fuska. They give u four kind of fuska in one plate for 180৳. U can also enjoy there dosa..they also have set manus.. Food was very testy.
MoreWell cooked biriyani with soft mutton pieces + yummy sweet and sour fish dish. Delicious to eat. Price are reasonable regarding their interior setup and food quality
MoreIndeed a good place for indian cuisine. Enough spacious for hangout with family and friends. Food are fresh and one of the recommended food is Doi Fuska which BDT 174 (incl. VAT).Place:8/10Food: 8/10Environment: 9/10
MoreDecoration and environment was good but the foods were almost similar to normal hotel and restaurants selling grills and nun. But the Doi Fuska was pretty satisfying.
MoreGreat place especially for dinner for friends and family. Though its a big area its keeping busy at dinner especially on Friday. so if someone thinks a comfortable dinner he or she has to be there except Friday, otherwise has to wait more than half an hour normally.almost all items are testy and reasonable. service depends on the volume of customers.normally we choose few of their popular items like Dohibora, Hyderabadi Biriyani, Kachhi Biriyani etc,.
MoreTaste of food is excellent,Well decorated,Price is reasonable according to other restaurant of Dhanmondi,Satisfactory quick service,& lastly a good place for family time, also for healthy addabaji without too much crowd.I like the place ❤️
MoreLocated 10/A, Dhanmondi, 3rd floor of the building. Lift and stair both are available to enter into the restaurant. As far as, its food taste and quality is awesome. Ill recommend their Thai soup. Here, mainly two types of dishes available as - Indian and Chinese items.Other all, the decoration and cleanness is enough good and eye-catching. The place is not like cozy. Reservation is not required. The staff behavior is also good. Cash and card both payment is acceptable here.🏷️ - medium range💳 - acceptable♿ - not accessible🚚 - online order available via food app
MoreAn absolute marvelous place to sit down and have e variety of meal as they serve both indian and chinese menu, the pricing is average but the food is admire able and very tasty and also healthy as they make it in front of the customer in the live kitchen, give it a go 🍖
MoreI dunno about others but I really liked their service since the very beginning. They are polite, friendly and professional. Food quality is great. If you are into Indian food then this is the place. During the pandemic they are maintaining cleanliness and distance. Overall great experience.
MoreGood quality food and warm environment
I tried Dhaba special fuchka and it is very tasty. Along with chotpoti, they fill the fuchka with some churmur on the top. The tamarind sauce/water is very tasty too. They give seven pieces in each plate (BDT 160). I ordered for two plates through the foodpanda home delivery service. Dhaba also provided six extra pieces of fuchka (unfilled), extra chotpoti, extra tamarind water and yogurt.Dhabas fuchka is a must try item for a fuchka-lover.
Morea great place to eat mouthwatering items like doifuchka, kabab etc. if you are looking for a nice evening with family or friends with not so expensive but tasty foods then this is the place.
MoreBest place for hangout and Raj kachori in city
Originally Dhaba or Punjabi dhaba is a roadside restaurant in the Indian subcontinent. They are on highways, generally serve local cuisine. As a Indian cuisine "Dhaba" word is very familiar to all,So that people can easily findout by name.today eating at a dhaba—urban or roadside—is a trend. Now come to the point of Enter ----Finish.it"s awesome experience mainly they put low masala/oil,which i preferred & they serve every items which i got just cooked🍱.it"s located Dhanmondi 10/a,opposite of Handi.
More1. A large place with a lot of sitting options.2. Kitchen is upfront. So you can see whether it is cken or not. I found the kichen clean.3. A separate futchka station. I loved it😋4. Food tastes really good.5. Toilets need better maintaining.6. The place is accessible via wheelchair, however the building itself is not. 😥7. The place has sufficient lighting and a seperate kids zone.8. Staff are friendly.
MoreAlthough the food that they serve in restaurant is quite good and delicious the manner of parcel is not good at all.I just received food/fuchka that is not eatable at this moment. We tried our best but couldn’t do it. All the fuchka is soaked and tasted like Luchi mixed with salad
MoreI visited that place couple of times... food was good but today the taste of the food was not up to the mark... i dont know its because of the chef or something else...
MoreA very good place to have traditional Indian food. If you’re fond of naan items then this is a better place to enjoy your meal. Loved their achari beef and kabuli naan ( tasted great), though garlic naan wasn’t that good as expected. But the most surprising food was Doi fuchka and papri chat- both tastes excellent.I’ll suggest both these items to try atleast once and believe me you’ll find them tasty. And the ambient of this place isn’t too much soothing as the place always remains full with customers, but food tastes better, and hospitality is really good.
MoreTried their Indian cuisine and the taste was great. The decoration of the new place is also innovative and gorgeous. Must take a trip with your family and loved ones.
MoreExcellent place for indian food & hangout with family & friends. Location is very convenient & easy to find. Hope to go again insha Allah
MoreAverage food,nice environment...
My experience on dhaba is great. Their service is so good and I really like their decoration and I go to eat their indian foodsChurmur is the food I loved ♥price 120takaand have their platter 2/3 may be it contain doi fuchka, gorom fuchka and velpuri price 120/130 (forget the exact price+15% vat.the overall experience in dhaba is good to me and will go their again and again 😊
MoreIn short, this place only deserves one star because of its elegant interior. Otherwise, every other aspect disgusts me. My family and I went there to have dinner, and the first thing we notice when we sat at our table was how dirty it was under the table. Roles of tissue were lying there, and it seemed like no one care enough to clean it up. We opened the menu and the items were way too overpriced. Rarely anything was below 300. My brother had ordered a dosa, it wasnt soft in the center like it shouldve been, it felt like biscuits. Inside the dosa was some vegetable curry, on top of it was some cut, boiled mushrooms. It was just added there; it had no taste whatsoever. Their lassi wasnt also very good, it tasted too syrup-y. What bothered me the most was a man standing shirtless in the womens washroom. It made me feel queasy and my appetite to have anything else completely vanished. Id recommend to take your family to other Indian cuisine based restaurants if you want the best of it.
