Devilicious Eatery & Tap Room in Temecula
Description
Privilege
Food was good, my drink was strong, was not impressed with service, felt as if we were intruding. Our server was not friendly kind of curt.
MoreThe menu offers appetizers, sandwiches, salads, and deserts. A childrens menu is also available. Many beers available to choose from. My chicken Caesar salad was an average size portion that was presented well but was disappointed in the bland taste and portion size. The chicken was rubbery and hard to cut with a knife. The others in my party ordered the All American Burger and Lobster Grilled Cheese. Both were large portions and the french fries were delicious. Both sandwiches were served on toasted bread vs. a bun which is a nice change of pace.
MoreA former food truck turned restaurant located in old town Temecula serving a host of oversized sandwiches burgers and more. We stopped in for a late lunch and decided to share a huge Devilicious burger. It was a big sloppy bunch of goodness, perfectly prepared and oh so tasty. They automatically bring extra napkins with the plate. We upgraded for the Parmesan truffle fries which were also very good.
MoreAlways a fantastic beer selection. Good food, servers are always great. Just wish the hostess were a bit more friendly.
MoreReally not everyone likes to look at a menu on the phone, some people still like to see a printed menu. You waitress says that you only have the qr code menues.. So we left and went next door and was seated with a real menu. You may not care but it matter to a lot of people.
MorePlace was almost empty. Service is ok. Food was nothing amazing. Meat seemed off (oldI was terribly sick the rest of the night. Now I understand why the place was empty. Food Sucks!!!
MoreThis is my favorite place to eat in Old Town Temecula. I have tried many things here and I have never second guessed my order. I dont have a picture of everything Ive ever tried here but I got a few good shots to share in hopes you might want to try it as well. My number one food option and honestly, I probably order this every time I come here are the pork belly tacos. The pickled onions and the pineapple playing against the pork belly, a perfect blend of sweet and salty. Another favorite of mine would have to be their (I dont think they are serving it anymorelobster rumble which is basically a lobster but served as a sandwich between two buns. Im hoping if I talk about it enough, they will bring it back. They have other great things like bacon wrapped mac and cheese, tap room wings, salads and more. The people who have served me here are always nice and the food here comes out in a timely manner. It is good bar food with good comfort, decent beer and Ill always come back from those pork belly tacos!
MoreAs my kid is yelling, give them 5 stars!!! I do have to agree. I got the Steak Pesto Caesar Salad, and my steak was cooked perfectly. A very simple dish, the flavors was delicious. If you eat here, make sure you get the Bacon Wrapped Mac And Cheese. The bacon was crispy and the Mac and cheese was yummy. The real winner of this lunch was my kid with his Pesto Caprese Grilled Cheese. This kid never shares and this time he was like OMG try this. He was right OMG! Now lets talk about the staff, our waitress (Valerywas great, super personable. We will definitely add this place to places to eat when we are up here for the weekend.
MoreWe were first introduced to devilicious delicious food at Murrietas birthday bash some of the best grilled cheese sandwiches Ive ever had fresh, good quality, Good presentation and an awesome staff, I highly recommend. Im new to their store front and definitely will be visiting again soon with my family. Great concept very creative awesome touch. Their lobster grilled cheese is everything!
MoreGreat food at a great price. Make sure to try out the bacon parm fries and the Bahn Mi dip. It has great pork belly and comes with a cup of PHO broth to dip it in! The only thing missing on the sandwich was cilantro and shredded carrots, but the pickled onion was a great addition. My wife and I enjoyed it so much we went twice within the same week!
MoreDecent food. And a decent beer selection. Service is ok, depending on who you get. Nice patio to sit at.
MoreThe food was fantastic. The service was good. That is all and all you need. Pet friendly too!
MoreGreat place, great drinks. Atmosphere was a sweet set back into prohibition. The presentation and skills of the bartender were the best by far!
MoreWasn’t terribly crowded. Waited about 20 mins to order…. Then took about 50 mins to get our food. All 4 Of our meals were so salty that we had to stop at gas station on way home to get bottles of water.
MoreGreat service! Great food! and super dog friendly!!! Our waitress was super sweet and brought out a dog bowl of water for our pup the same time as ours! Being this was the first time we ever took our fur baby out to a restaurant, we really appreciated the gesture!
MoreThe food was good, horrible customer service. In the 75min I was there our waitress came by only THREE times. That was to give us drinks, take our order, and give us the check to pay. It was not busy at all either. She didnt ask us for refills, she had no other tables, all I saw her doing was talking her mouth off with her friend at the bar making drinks. If you can handle poor customer service and long waits with no warning or updates of how long it may take, then the food might be worth it for you.
MoreGO TO SWING INN CAFE INSTEAD! Please read full review ♥️ For the first time ever!! We walked out of this restaurant with only being served water and a mimosa. This was by far the worst service in a restaurant I’ve ever had! Extremely upset and telling all of my friends AND family in Temecula to never eat here. Servers giving us dirty looks after us asking where our server was, was very uncomfortable and strange. We got seated at restaurant at 1215, did not get drinks until 1245! Keep in mind they were not busy, maybe under staffed lol but not busy smh. Maybe don’t seat guests if you don’t have a server to serve them. We had to get up and ask a random server waking passed us for the 10th time for these drinks! No server paid any mind to us (table of four). After getting our drinks we ordered our food at the same time because we knew the server would never come back to check on us. After waiting 45 minutes, we asked if there was any update on the status of our orders and they said they are waiting for the shrimp po boy. After another 15 minutes, we asked if there was any update and they ignored us! They didn’t even look at us and ignored us! Rude! Unprofessional!! My boyfriend asked them a question and they blatantly ignored us and walked away. They acted like high schoolers! All the servers and bartenders we could see them in the kitchen talking and looking at us! Freaking weird! The are just standing over our food talking. Our friends were nice enough to give them another five minutes but nope nothing!!!! After waiting over an hour and a half! we had no food, no refill drinks and no server ever came up to us to check on us or introduce them selves or anything. For the first time ever we al walked out! THEY ALL stared at us get up! and walk away and said or did nothing lol Horrible business and staff. Our friend from New York left us at devilicious after waiting for 45 minutes and went to swing inn cafe, got sat, ate his meal and came back to us and we still only had drinks 😑 We went to the Swing Inn cafe instead and omg they are amazing!!! Swing inn cafe sat us down immediately and they had more customers then devilocious 😂 they took our orders pretty quick and checked on us constantly :we got our food in probably 15 minutes and left happy!
MoreThis place has the best burgers but my experience with them today, let a sour taste in my mouth. The wait was about 30 (that’s fineI got a call the table was ready around 1:15 and at 1:45 we were still not served, no water, nothing. As I sat there and looked for someone to help, not one server in sight to ask for some assistance. It is Sunday, busy days, but for no one to actually attend us and provide us with water. Please work on your management and make sure that not one servers problem turns into everyone’s
MoreThis is one of those places that is hyped up, the menu especially appears intriguing with its carefully crafted descriptions. Unfortunately the delivery falls short, its average food with a non existent concept for the interior; I mention this because it felt odd inside, plus the staff seemed to meander about with seemingly no purpose. The food isnt horrible, just basic, therefore the 3* rating.
MoreGreat live music. Delicious food. Great selection of beers on tap.
House burger, plenty of beer at the bar, bacon wrapped Mac, and rib tacos.Sunday night, so not crazy. I received very good service.
MoreWe came saturday night. It was a wait but there was a nice waitress who saw that we had been waiting for a while and she got us a table so fast. She was the best!!! I ordered the bahn mi dip. The soup broth was delicious and the meat was nice and crispy. The salad had a good flavor. I also ordered a prickly pear cocktail and it was delicious. They had live music, a guitarist and singer duo it was nice to hear.
MoreAte there with my family tonight. Food and service were great. At first I thought the service was going to be bad because the girl who was bartending was also our server. But she was very good and was able to multi task really well. She was a hard worker. Very attentive. Props to her. You gotta try the bacon wrapped Mac ncheese. The Devilicious burger was great too.Live music started playing around 9 and it was pretty good too. Nothing extraordinarily loud but good music. It looked like everyone was having a great time.
MoreSuch a fun place to eat and relax with a drink and a nice meal. The atmosphere was fantastic, the live music was unexpected, but a much needed change. Service was fast despite, short staff, so that tells me that this team of employees works well under pressure. Will definitely be back because the food was as they say in spanish "Muy Delicioso"
MoreDrinks/concoctions are interesting and good. Food is tasty. Good onion rings.
Can I give them a ZERO? The waitress was sweet but the kitchen was S L O W!!! 30 mins for 2 hamburgers for myself and my son, and the place was slow. Hardly anyone inside or outside. I asked for medium well-done, and the burger was raw in the middle. Yuck!! The bill was ridiculous too. Over 40 bucks for 2 terrible hamburgers?? ! I would avoid this place and I know I WONT ever return or recommend it.
MoreMet some family here for a little meal and a couple of drinks. Gotta say everything we had was delicious, bacon wrapped Mac n cheese amd the pulled pork fries(think that’s what they were). We enjoyed a few different sandwiches A couple different cocktails and some beers from their amazing selections. Will hit this place up next time we are in the area for sure.
MoreCame here with a friend while visiting Old Town Temecula. Like most of the restaurants in the area Devilicious mainly serves burgers and other American food. We ordered the honey chicken brie sandwich with onion rings and the kale and goat salad. Chicken in both dishes were very dry but the onion rings were probably some of the best I have ever tried. Food truck prices and portions.
MoreFun and outgoing staff, good & well balanced food, and most importantly delicious drinks from in house and local areas.
MoreWe stopped in to Devilicious in Old Town Temecula for an early happy hour (M-F 2:30-5:30and Thirsty Thursday in January 2020 where all bottles of wine were ½ off. It was a beautiful warm afternoon, so we sat outside. We asked to taste two whites before ordering a bottle - the Robert Renzoni Pinot Grigio easily won out! The menu had lots of tempting items to choose from. With “shareables” $2 off for happy hour, we tried the Cheesesteak Loaded Fries and omg, what a great choice! The fries were crispy and covered in thinly sliced steak, provolone, caramelized onions, mushrooms, cherry peppers and a sriracha aoli - yum! Our initial plan was to then order the Grilled Salmon Avocado Salad and the Steak Pesto Caesar...but we were so full after the loaded fries that we’ll have to try the salads next time. Oh, and as we were leaving, we got to see a server opening the secret hidden door to Apparition Room, the speakeasy which adjoins Devilicious! Another place we look forward to checking out when things settle down in the world:(
MoreIll admit i was a bit apprehensive, both at the cost and the drive, but oh man was this worth every penny and then some. Burgers were juicy and flavorful. Im not usually fond of sauces but the aioli was exceptional. The fries, despite enduring a twenty plus minute drive back to the office for lunch, maintained their crisp freshness and even survived a brief trip into the microwave to heat them up a touch with no loss in deliciousness.10/10 do recommend and as my co worker just said "this was criminally delicious"
MoreThis place is freaking amazing!!!! Fusion food and super-trendy. I highly suggest the chorizo egg rolls to start! Then if you still arent full, move on to the burger menu! This place does not disappoint! Very chill atmosphere. Great place, i will be back for more ♥️♥️♥️
MoreFood was decent. I ordered the Bison Burger and the parmesan Truffle fries. The fries were so good, a little greasy but the flavor and crunchiness was perfect. The burger was a little bland for me. It does normally come with a horseradish & chive spread, which I left off because I dont care for horseradish, but I figured the aioli would give it enough flavor. It didnt. I was disappointed by their specialty cocktail list, it wasnt appealing (to me, someone else may like their drinks), and the one drink I wanted they ended up being out of. I settled for water, and eventually wanted a sprite (which they dont havebut they did have a lemon berry acái drink that was a yummy substitute. It was a little pricey but 8/10 would go again.
MoreReally enjoyed this place. Hubby got the farenheit burger and a peach beer, I got the duck confit grilled cheese and a lunchbox cocktail. Everything was served promptly and tasted great. Nice outdoor seating area with heaters to keep everyone nice and toasty.
MoreI LOVE that Devilicious has a brick and mortar in Temecula!!! Such a great location and the food of course was too notch!! I got the Duck Confit Grilled Cheese which was duck confit, caramelized red onions, gruyere and mozzarella cheeses, honey port reduction on butter toasted sourdough. Paired it with some truffle parmesan fries for the win!! Highly recommend!!!
MoreOur 1st of many returning visits. We loved our meal choices so much that we have before and after photos of our plate. Yum! We informed our server, Ashley this was our first visit to Devilicious. Ashley took the extra time to show us the food menu and provided several beer samples which took the guessing out from choosing from their large array. Theres also a private bar area were you and that special person can relax in a dimly lit room while enjoying your drinks and eating appetizers like bacon rapped around truffles and other lite bites. Reserve online for the intimate bar area. Enjoy..
MoreHad a awesome time. Are waitress was great. We will be back. ❤😋😋😋
What a fantastic find. My wife told me about this place and it definitely did not disappoint! The loaded french fries were ridiculously good and the burger was delicious. The restaurant is kind of dark for my taste, but the ambiance isnt hindered to much by it. If I was a drinker my meal would probably have been even better considering there good selection of beer on tap. Lemonade for the win. Very good and satisfying.I will for sure be visiting this place again for another chance at those amazing fries and burgers!!
MoreFun little spot in Old Town! Food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We already want to go back. Burgers, sandwiches, soup, amazing fries, chicken, ribs... Lots of tempting choices. It was very clean and essentially no wait. Highly recommend.Update: went back on May 5 for lunch where we waited for 2 hours for our food. It was Cinco de Mayo but it was still unacceptable. We couldnt even get any servers attention for a refill. I finally got up and got my own. The food is good but the experience soured us.
MoreGreat food, and friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back for brunch. I think the servers could check in a little more often, but otherwise good service.
MoreAll of our food was really good. The menu is creative and not boring. Bison burger is juicy as well as the Devillicious burger. Also had short rib melt and pulled pork sandwich. Service was great. The only issue was the battered onion rings were not cooked all the way.
MoreThe Poke Nachos are AMAZING!!! Be warned though, they pack some heat... So if youre not into spicy I wouldnt recommend it. And the parm truffle fries are bomb! P.s. Ask about their speakeasy.
MoreWent for Sunday brunch had wings and breakfast not. Food was delicious. Beer selection was really good. Quiet. Only 4 t.v.s if your interested in watching football though there was no problem for us because it wasnt crowded at all. Next time want to try bacon macaroni bites.
MoreBacon Mac n Cheese bites is all you need to know. The place is very cool. The staff is great and the food is amazing. They have a large amount of craft beer selections to choose from as well as a full bar. We were going with just appetizers and got some garlic parmesan fries and bacon mac n cheese bites to share...OMG...the fries are great. Just the right crunch with garlic, bacon, and fresh shaved parmesan. The bites are off the chart good. Creamy mac n cheese, covered in bacon and cooked to crispy goodness. Mouth is watering just thinking of them. Parking is fine behind the Stampede and a short walk to Front Street and you are there. Seating is ample with outdoor seats as well. Great vibe and awesome food. Highly recommend you check this place out.
MoreGreat hand crafted cocktails and service. Unlike the one other speak easy hidden bar Ive been to this place is comfortable to sit.
MoreNot alot of choices on the food menu, but the wings and the truffle fries were good. And my husband had the buffalo chicken sandwich, he said it was alright
MoreThe food here was meh. Uncooked bacon in the burger and flavorless patty. Then theres the bacon macoroni bites that were recommended to us, these were also flavorless and the dip tasted like straight mayonnaise. Wouldnt be such a big deal if the food wasnt so expensive. I could have had better cheaper food red Robin or burgers n beer. I will avoid having any food here in the future.
MoreGood drinks with great deals like $4 beers all day Monday.Check out more great deals below:Monday: $4 Beers all dayTuesday: Trivia @7pmWednesday: Steal the Pint (?Buy the beer and get the glass.Thursday: % of Bottles of WineFriday: XWeekend: Brunch
MoreWe came here on a Sunday evening the week of Thanksgiving. Not busy at all. The place was half full/empty. We were seated upon entering. Our waitress was nice, but was a little slow at the times when I needed more water and when we were ready for the bill. As for the food, the California Philly cheesesteak with truffle fries was great. Good amount of meat, veggies and heat. My wife got the lobster grill cheese sandwich which was okay, in my opinion. I recommend this place.
MoreAhi Poke Nachos is amazing!!! My husband got the Farenheight burger and I got the BBQ Chicken wrap. We both got the garlic parmesan fries on the side. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Cant get enough! Ashley was our server - if there was a place to just review our server and service, I would give her 10 stars! Super sweet, really welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable about her menu and the restaurants history. Ask for Ashley next time!
