Devil's Door in Songnam

Beautiful location, excellent service, good looking food. The beer was good enough, but all the beers we had were either slightly off in flavor or completely muted in flavor.

Attitude of the store manager is horrendous. Service is totally not acceptable. A very proud and rude person. Will never ever step in again, especially when i am bringing overseas clients.

Pros: Good admosphere, large and open space, fairly fast service, nice bathroom, and they make their own beer. They also have their own parking lot out front (dont park at Shinsegae or the Bus Terminal parking lot! Theyre expensive,l and quite far away).Cons: Pretty limited menu. Food was okay (the salad was extremely spicy, though, and unfortunately for me, I cant eat spicy food). Also, out of the 6 (? or sococktails they had, only one was available when I was there. Their alcohol selection isnt very large, so not the best place if you want to drink.

Good service; beer is ok but nothing to write home about. They were out of sampler glasses on a Saturday afternoon. Only tried a couple of the beers on tap and they were better than average, but just kinda like the “3+” hotel star rating - not remarkable, but clean and refreshing enough. If you’re from the US, I think it better to spend time finding a more interesting place, like one of the mom-and-pop shops that provide more character. Expensive setup and clean though, so Nothing to complain about there. Also, the service is very quick and responsive.

Fantastic ambience, but why did it take 28 minutes to make essentially tortilla pizza? Quite tasty, despite lacking much cheese, meat, and TBH sauce. As few ingredients as there were, it should have been delivered within five minutes, not had me checking the bill for when it was entered to see if 1it had been entered in the first place and 2how long we had been waiting. I literally had to talk my friend down from going full Karen at the 20 minute mark.The salad was very quickly delivered and satisfying. There was more cheese in the salad than on the pizza.

An exceptionally spacious, industrial-vibe pub with cool ambiance and service. Their beers taste amazing, too.

As an American, KNOWING that this place is owned by a conglomerate, I can only be tough on these guys. They can do better that that. Small mom and pop shops can and are doing better than that especially in Itaewon. Just because its the closest thing to food back home? NO. There are many American restaurants and breweries in Seoul that are identical or even better than home.

Chicken burger was just OK. Beer was OK. Not enough staff as this place is trendy and full of young people. Menu selection was limited too. Wouldnt take a family with kids

A neat, open atmosphere that exposes the tanks and piping for their microbrewery. I sampled their seasonal beer, a dark weizen, and was pleasantly surprised. The pricing here is definitely on the upper side however.Their burgers were very good, the Ultimate Devil burger having an interesting combo of fried cheese, tomato and mushrooms as its topping. Overall. a good experience if youre looking to take a break from the normal Korean fare.

Good quality food and drinks. Water was self service

Weve been to the COEX and IFC Mall locations of this chain. The COEX branch has the better pizza but the IFC Mall one has the better TV screens. Both places are good, but I guess it depends on what you want, better food or a better sports viewing experience.

Shockingly American food. A nice change of pace in Seoul.

Decent beer place near Seoul express bus terminal. Price is relatively high but nice beer and foods.

Ambiance is great but food portions are small, prices are high, and the taste of food and beer are mediocre at best.

Nice big place with a good ambience and has beer that is brewed in house. The beer is decent but not exceptional and is available in a choice of sizes. Prices are fairly high. A large glass of house brewed beer, which looks like about 450ml, is 10000. Guest ales are available at higher prices.

About a dozen beers on tap, with 4-5 being their own brew. Kitchen had just closed at 9 and last call was ~9:30 although people including me stayed past 10pm.

There is a promotion for 30,000won per person which allows you to drink max 15 glasses of beer for 100.minutes. this is a good deal goven that per glass price in devils door os 8000won to 10000won. However, even if there is ome person on the tanle who isnt drinking, this promotion is NOT allowed to be consumed. wven if that one person is pregnant, or driving that night.

Excellent choices on ale and larger type beers. The place unique in a way it never takes break, it opens even on the lunar New Year holiday.

Very solid food and beers. I see other reviewers complaining about portion sizes and not sure what to compare to, this isnt Costco. Pretty expensive part of town, unique vibe, and somewhat has a feeling of Vegas. Will be back when in Korea again.

This place is just another Korean style American wanna be. Over priced food with little flavor and low quality. The beers are ok and the music is loud. If you are looking for something to eat at Coex Mall look elsewhere!

Avoid. Inviting place but the food is massively overpriced and the portion size is laughable. Burger and fries ordered, the fries were minature things that resembled crisps, they would snap unlike fries/chips. Pizza ordered as well, again minature, didnt touch the sides.

It was great beer and food but the reason it gets two stars is because it took a long time to try to get someones attention to come over and take our orders. Additionally they were out of a lot of beers on their menu and thats just sad for a beer brewery.

Only thing I don’t like is servers..cheap untrained servers have no idea what to do..however, this brewery offers you great location and food quality. Please try fried chicken, fried octopus and meat pizza with IPA!

They serve amazing fried chicken. Dont forget to order additional hot sauce.

It is expensive place but it worth for sure.Wonderful interior that you recall where you have been in United State.Spinach pizza is recommended.

Awesome interior, giving you the proper feel of being in an American brewery / beer hall. But besides the atmosphere everything else leaves a lot to be desired. Food is just past edible, hospitality and professionalism is nonexistent. Most importantly their own brews are horrendous and they also try their best to not keep any of the guest bottles in stock.Its truly a shame that such a large f&b corporation couldnt make a brewpub work despite many tries for the last few years.Side Note: their devil logo is direct copy and paste of comic book Hellboys illustration 👿

Good atmosphere. Good drafted beer. Place for friends gathering in Gangnam. This is the best Devils Door in town!

Ive been to the one inside Starfield Hanam during the day with my daughter since they offer kids meal. When I asked for water, I was told it was self-service. Considering how much they charge for their food, this was rather disappointing! I was also disappointed by how small the size of their dishes were. The risotto we ordered came in a skillet, and let me tell you--it was tiiiiny! The taste was not bad, but its way too pricey for the portion you get. Not sure, Id like to come back.

Always crowded because this place has original / specific menu for visitors.I recommend Devils door for these people; friends group for chatting & laughing or who doesnt care noisy place.But if you dont enjoy loud place or cannot wait so long, then youd better find out other place.

They have a wide selection of beer. Taps and bottles are available. Fried chicken is one the most popular food menu followed by burger and fried sweet-potato.

I liked it. But, pricy and they do not offer pitcher....draft beer by glass only. F**k

Craft beer is good but the food could use a little more fine tuning as it didnt match the brews offered. Overall it as fine though.

Typical brewery food, pizza, burgers and beer( pretty good beer, but a bit on the expensive side). Great atmosphere and architecture, but if I wanted great food and not worry about the scene, Id go elsewhere. Not worth the money, unless you are trying to impress someone.

This place I visited again and was a cesspool of bad service, clubby annoying loud music, average but expensive food, and sanitation issues (I saw them pour beer and dumping excessive head off the glass and wiping it with a dirty rag which was tossed back on the counter and reused during my two hour stay).Do not go if you expect a decent beer either, as they beers are watered down and tasteless for most part (except for their IPA which was ok).Also, I went with an American friend of mine and they were blatabtly racist! He paid with cash, and the cashier handed the receipt and cash back to me although he was right in front of her.I never write such an extensive review, but this place was horrid. I hope this serves as a warning.DO NOT GO! Unless you dont have any other choice nearby, and must visit a "bar" immediately (but be prepared to suffer through pulsing club music which will destroy your mind if you are looking for a chill relaxing beer).

Okay craft brewery but not near as good as Galmegi in Busan. Their on beer was average or below. We had to cue for an hour after reservation. The cue was not numbered so difficult to estimate time.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and beer brewed onsite. Whats not to love. :). Only negative is thats its popular so either book of be prepared to wait a little.

Huge place. Great for groups. Busy and loud. Their own beer is pretty decent. Also their burgers are really good!

Brew pub style venue, with western bar food (pizza, wings, burger etc). Can be very busy. Can be difficult to get serving staff to take your order if you are not Korean. Beer is good though.Prices high but normal for Seoul I guess.

Terrible seating, super long wait, and wouldnt let us each order a sampler set due to some "rule". Alright beer but $19 a glass?

Friendly stuff but long waiting time but only 2 samplers per table you can order. Moreover the beer taste was dissapointing, blant, watery and pricey. There are lots of better craft beer places in Seoul these days so better go there and do not waste money & time.

If you are in need of some real beer taste when staying in JW Marriott. Craft ale, lager, and weizen, all very nice. Stylish brass interior.

Good house pale ale and IPA. Burger had a good smokey flavor, with grilled tomatoes and caramelized (actually almost purée-donions, but not being able to choose the temperature was a bit strange (was closer to medium than well done, so it was actually still OK). Spinach pizza was tasty but incredibly thin, like the crazed flat bread style of pizzas. Lots of other beers, bottles and on tap, to chose from.

Decent beer and food and very impressive atmosphere but awful service (likely due to how packed it was). This place is "trending" so therefore expect hustle and bustle. Thankfully its big enough that youll probably not have to wait in line - but might have to wait for a waiter/waitress.
