Fabulous museum for all ages. Amazing collection reptiles and some mammals. A broad view of the regions history and artifacts including fossils. Dont forget to pay for parking before heading back to your car.

Huge place and a must see if you are in the Saltillo area. I was pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of this museum. While the main attraction seems to be fossil exhibits they have some history exhibits as well. The added bonus of a small zoo was surprising too. Very nice place overall, a bit crowded and lacks any real lunch options but other than that it’s a great place to visit.

This museum is fantastic for people of all ages. Its huge, so be prepared to spend several hours here. There are things to see inside and outside. The price is very reasonable for such a large museum. For those that dont read/understand much Spanish be prepared with Google translate because everything is in Spanish.

Absolutely loved it. Bring comfy shoes, sun block, a hat, and get ready to walk. The Dinosaur exhibition is impressive, the "living museum" is also pretty great, but if youre a plant lover youre gonna love the cacti exhibit. The rain patio is fun.

I find it good but still needs more investing. prices are very reasonables, I was impressed about how well people ia trained on customer service. I felt very safe with the covid protocol they have implemented. I took both of my kiddos, which to them was amazing. I really recommend it...

In comparison to many other museums in other much advanced and bigger cities the visit is really well on advised. Not only is informative but fun too. The zoo part not a big one but the history museum is really nice.I dont know much Spanish but there are audio guides in English.The 3d experience is a fun thought but needs quality improvement.

One of the greatest museums I have ever visited, although the price is a bit high, its worth it because the money goes to reserve the beautiful species that are in there such as wolves, bears, rams, coyotes, snakes, etc. This is definitely more than a museum

It’s an amazing place to spend the day with family. It tells the history of Saltillo, has a dinosaur museum, small zoo, live animals, crystals and almost everything about Saltillo and Coahuila.

El museo del desierto, to be the most representative place to visit in the city it for sure has great things, but also has its flaws; they may be minimum and for most people maybe not that important. (Things like no-description on several items, on some rooms its hard to know what you need to see first and whats next).This may be too personal but it seemed to me that some animals (real animalswere very stressed, and with this I am not blaming the museum but trying to raise awareness that animlas just should not be captive.Overall:Very informative 10/10Many things to see 10/10Place to eat 10/10By the way, I also think the price is not the best.

The Museum is amazing, focusing in the importance of the deserts in the world but with a lot of background and natural history.

Gorgeous museum. My sister and her family took us here last week so that the little ones could have fun. Very clean, amazing vendors and covid friendly!

Great experience and history lesson

Beautifully designed and full of so much detail. Im glad I took the time to bring the family out here to visit this museum. The place is bigger than it looks so bring snacks or visit the dining area inside. It took us almost 3 hours to walk through and enjoy it.

The food was delicious and dishes have big portions specially in calzones. You feel real Italian flavour

We loved it!However, I wish the exhibits descriptions were done better. For example, there was a case of minerals, but no names of them given. So, all we could do is say "the orange one is unique" ans suchAlso, there was NO English anywhere in the exhibits, so if you dont speak Spanish, you will be lost...

This place is amazing! Definitely an attraction in Saltillo you have to visit. Shows a lot of history of the area, the dinosaur fossils found, how the mountains helped create the fossils, the history of the people there, mini zoo, animals youll find there, the list goes on. You cant come to Saltillo and not see this museum. It was amazing, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Visit to the Desert Museum was fun and educational. My family had so much fun especially the reptile and live animal section. The outdoor craft market was really good. There was a gentleman selling wooden made dinosaurs and you can have your name engraved on it. Bought 3 from him and it is very affordable. Excellent field trip. Highly recommend of you are in Saltillo.

Too much and too disorganized. It has very interesting materials, and it provides you with useful information, but the materials are not well organized. The audio explanations are very close to each other, and they only confuse the listener. The light effects make reading the descriptions almost impossible.

Foe a small city like Saltillo coah., this IA a great interactive dinosaur museum with a zoo attached featuring fauna from the coahuilan region. Great day at the park for children and adults.

My 3 sons and I had the best time. We dont speak Spanish, but it was still very enjoyable. There is so much to see!

I have never been such an amazing museum like this. Actually its big. There are a lot of things to see and learn. You can walk around and take some pictures and enjoy your time. Youll see the animals as well. I liked very much. This museum is very important in Saltillo. Entrance fee it was 160 peso. For children, it was 100 peso.

Family recommended for kids of all ages. You will enjoy the animals, the walking and will have incredible views on alive animals. My kids loved the experience, the wolves and dinasuars!

Excellent experience. There are ancient fossils, museum of history, formation and composition and the planet, stuffed animals and species of regional animals in enclosure. Everything very well decorated! Viva Mexico !!!

It is an museum very big. initially it is about deserts but then it has exhibits of things about dinosaurs, types of minerals, plants, it has live and dissected animals. Finally there is a craft market.

Needs less steps to get back to the front door!!

Wonderful place, specially because has been remodeled a few days ago; the dinosaurs are amazing and you can enjoy several activities with the kids. Ey! Dont forget about the zoo at the end of the museum.

Its been a while since I visited this place, and I found this experience just as good as before. They have new Expeditions and have remodeled a bit. Great historical exhibits and the live animal exhibits are great as well! If your in Saltillo this museum is a must!

really nice museum, a lot of information about dinosaurs, apparently a big paleontologist hot spot from around the world. definitely recommend going if around the area.

Great museum dont miss it if you visit Saltillo.Coahuila is among the 10 places where most paleontology pieces have been found in the world.
