Denver Downs - Farm in Anderson, United States
Im so sad they raised their prices. We had a tradition of coming here every year. We have young kids that only can last a couple of hours. Spending $25 each for my 3 young kids for a couple hours (plus me and my husbandis just way too expensive.
I went here with four adults and two children and yes the children had a really good time...BUT...twenty five dollars each for the adults to get in is very pricey considering that the adults are there just to bring the children...ten dollars for the adults would be plenty...and it was also twenty five dollars for the two four year old boys which is ok since everything to do there is for the children! But all in all the boys had a great time!
Just simple love it! Great place to bring the family and extended family, they have all kinds of games and entertainment for everyone, plus delicious food and snacks
We had a good time until I bought a $1 Sam’s club cinnamon pretzel for $5. Soured the whole experience for me.
A must do, have to bring the kids. Had a great time. The corn maze is a must do.👍😃
Denver Downs is a great place for families with young children, so many activities for the kids to do. Theres a corn maze, a giant tube slide, rock climbing wall, Zipline and more. They have pig races, BBQ food, funnel cake, lemonade and yummy kettle corn. They sell mums and pumpkins in the Fall. I paid $25 per adult to get in, I thought it was a bit pricey considering there is really not much for adults to do but if you have kids, its worth it.
Fun-filled, family friendly atmosphere for the whole family. So many farm games for the kids to play. Go check it out
The corn maze was amazing the candy Cannon was awesome food was good parking lot was a little Dusty but nothing that a car wash came take care of had a good time with my daughter
Great experience, especially for the kids! The food is absolutely mediocre at best and way overpriced for what you get. Go for the fun, not the food!
At $25 per person it is fairly expensive for a family outing. But there is a lot to do there. For all ages of kids. Very enjoyable. Food is more expensive than makes sense but there is a good variety.Well definitely go back.
It was my first time. My daughter and I went with the school on his feild trip. The place and most staff were amazing. I would have given 5 stars because it was pretty awesome but the lady taking our money was so rude to my daughter then actually snickered about us to other guest. We were charged to stay over, 1 hr, yet noone else paid any extra. My daughter is a single mom she struggles. Yet she always takes care of my grandson. So as we were leaving and purchasing a souvenir for nick. My daughter didnt think she had enough so she asked about the extra we paid and seeing how noone else did could she just apply it to the toy. The lady was so rude and did not mind embarrassing my daughter. I wish I had her name. So wonderful place to go for fun and a pumpkin unless the staff spoils the whole trip.
My family and I had a great time!! The food was alright ( and we tried everythingbut the time was a blast! We will be back
Too expensive for kids. They get worn out before you can get your moneys worth. Not much to do for teens or young adults except maybe the smores and live music. The staff was kind. Pumpkins and mums were overpriced. Maze was so-so.
We had a blast! We have three kids (3,7,11& all of them enjoyed it! The staff was all really nice. It was beautiful especially as the evening came. It was $25 to get in but there was tons to do and stay all day! The food was not bad priced to me. I honestly have no complaints! We will be back!
very disappointed: drove over an hour to get here yesterday just for them to be closed for a private event. if you are going to run a business, you might wanna make sure you post something on your website/ facebook if you are closed to the public. waste of time & gas. will not bring getting my business again.
Its an enjoyable time overall, good to go with friends or family. At $25 to get in, the entry fee is overpriced for what it gets you. The food is vastly overpriced. The activities were great, and the huge slide was fun.The corn maze was a very fun experience, even more so since we went at night. Its fun the dark, but I recommend they add subtle lighting for safety reasons. It was also very dusty both in the parking lot and in the main area pretty much everywhere, but it was clean. We went on a Saturday evening, so understandably, there was a large crowd of people and queues were long but not too bad.Overall, I would recommend this place, but for me going here is a once a year type of thing.
Although most of the activities were geared toward kids under 12 but I loved the corn maze. If you have kids this is the place to be. The only thing I did not care for was the pig race. I dont be in using animals to entertain human.
1st off, Great place for kids but it’s a bit pricey to get in for a few farm things to do. ($25/person)The Slide & Corn maze was really the only fun thing for adults. I honestly thought there would be more animals, Only 5-6 out, and the two Mini horses you weren’t allowed to pet because they bite. Probably not the best animal to have out with little kids around. Basically a fair without the rides. Music was a nice touch with little fires around for families to enjoy. Food was a bit pricey, at least the things we had. Funnel cake, ice cream (they had no spoons😂and frozen Lemonade and kettle corn. Cute little place, I wish you had more goats 😂.
Was really nice but 95 percent of the concessions were closed
FANTASTIC! My kids, age 1 & 3 had a blast!! We were sad to see the height requirement for the slide was 42”. We were hoping for at least 36” with an adult, next year maybe. BUT! We got to jump on the balloon trampoline. SO MUCH FUN! This family does a FABULOUS job providing a fun safe environment for the kids. I was a little startled to see food and drink prices, $3 for a water about knocked me over. BUT we WILL be back and already can’t wait!I have a recommendation that maybe a shade be added to the kid zone and sand box with the tractor tires.Thank you for creating such a fun space for us to bring the kids!
Super fun place to take kids to play. Staff is sometimes rude. One lady made my little girl cry because she, among several others, were walking down the new slide... Well we didnt know there wasnt an attendant when we went to that slide. They need to put up a gate or sign or something letting the ppl know. Or better yet, have enough ppl working to have all the attractions open during open hours. No need to be angry at little kids when they nor us new they were doing anything wrong. It doesnt seem like walking up or down a slide would hurt anything. And the lady acted EXTREMELY rude like they were just destroying the slide. Geez. Weve ran into some other rude staff over the years also. But overall we really like the farm and the kids usually have lots of fun. 5 stars if not for the rude staff.
Great activities, food, drinks, fun, friendly staff and very clean! We love to come here 1-2 times each season. Pig races are a must see!
I haven’t been so I am only reviewing on not having the ability to take my kids here as a working single parent, I wish they would price each activity or have a low entry rate for us who just want to give our children the experience of a corn maze and pumpkin picking. I’m sure it’s an awesome place for families who can afford it
EDITED since the owner wants to be moody! Why such outrageous prices its ridiculous you can say that only review but when I looked up the prices online cuz I was going to bring my kids next month and no I have not been there for the fact of the prices it says for extra prices meaning after emission you can enjoy other stuff so try again
Went Opening Day, Sept 24, 2022. Love this place every time we go. Such a family friendly environment with lots of fun activities to do. The new big slide is awesome! 🥰🍁🍂
Excellent for family. Tug of war, lasso the street horns, super long slide on tube. Oh my this place has something for everyone in family. Corn maze, the list goes on and on. This was a company party today but they have all this all the time. Thank you family that offers this place for public
The absolute best place to go in SC in the fall for fun for the whole family. Your ticket includes everything except gem mining, food, and pumpkins. You/your kids can do whatever activities you want however many times you want to. My family goes every year and stays the entire day. Weve made great memories here!
Always a great time for family and friends and performances! Love the atmosphere and you can really let the kids enjoy being kids and being out on the farm!
We had amazing time with our granddaughter. As always Denver Downs didnt disappoint.
My grandson Leo and I had a great time. There are plenty of things for children to do. He went on the zipline, the obstacle course, and many other fun activities. Well definitely be going back again.
We had a great time at the fall festival! We will definitely be back and make this a fall tradition for our family! Highly highly recommend!!
Great time for fall family fun! $19 admission per person. 2 and under free. Fair themed food and they serve adult beverages.. Their cider Frose is Soo good!
Such a fun place for the whole family! Plenty of outdoor games for kids and parents alike. Food and drinks available too...but the hours of the concessions are limited so thats a bit inconvenient. The corn maze is huge and worth the price if admission, but theres so much more to do here...zipline, dodgeball, rock climbing, a petting zoo, and so much more. The store offers numerous salsas, jams, and other goodies, grown and canned on-site.
This is really great for young children and the elderly. If you go before 3pm, nothing is open and nothing to do but the corn maze. So going early to beat the crowds isnt worth it. 15 dollars per person.
Lots of fun but eat before you get there unless you want to pay no less than $5 for pretty much anything to eat (corn dogs, nachos, pretzels)
We went for the second week of the sunflower festival. It was really nice! They had A LOT of stuff for the kids to do. The only down side was how expensive it was. And how confusing the trails were in the actual flower picking section. It cost me a little over $100 for myself, my mil and 3 kids plus a few extra sunflowers because the children’s tickets did not come with a flower. Also, even though most of the activities are geared towards kids the paths are not very stroller / wagon friendly. There is only one sign pointing the way into the sunflowers but that’s it. You basically had to make your own path to get out which was not fun with 3 younger children. But overall we had a good time and I would go again. Just hope they have more signage in the fields next time.
Its a nice fun place, they have food and a gift shop. Its mostly a place for kids but fun for teenagers and young adults too.
This is a great place for a family outing. There are lots of activities for both kids and adults, and theres seating for those who just want to watch.
Overall a very good experience. It’s definitely designed for families that have kids under 12 years of age. There are a lot of kids activities throughoutThe lines to the concession stands were long. They were out of things like cotton candy mid afternoonI do not recommend this unless you have younger kids
Denver Downs is a great place to take your kids during the fall. The staff is very friendly and the grounds are kept clean. The corn maze, zip line, pig races, bouncing area, all kept my little ones entertained. The weather was also perfect so it made for a great couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon.
Great place to take the kids to, theyll love it! Plenty for them to do there. Our twin 4 year old granddaughters were in a pageant, they had a blast. Didnt win, but they still got trophies. 🙂
This is my first time coming to Denver Downs the place was amazing the cornfield was off the chain and the pigs and the goats were very friendly. It’s an awesome place to take your kids they will have loads of fun, I paid about 70 bucks for a family of 6 so it wasnt too bad.
Took my wife and daughter. Friendly staff, some food and drinks available. They really go out of their way to make a friendly environment for familys. They had fun pig races, along with live music.I do wish there was some more shade, as the entire place is a farm. Some built in shade on the tables by the music and food would be appreciated. Also, a few more options for substantial food, like maybe BBQ would be awesome.
Wow! Cool place for some family fun. Wanted to visit for years and finally got a chance. Plenty of fun for the whole family. The biggest draw is the corn maze. Acres and acres of corn with many paths through it. There are twelve check points throughout the maze to find and you can scan the barcode to get credit for each find. It is HUGE! They have a petting zoo, fire pits, an obstacle course, a couple stages for live music, cornhole, a giant rocking chair, tractors, and of course the hayride. Great family fun! A must visit for something off the beat and path.
Tons of activities for the kids and adults! Totally worth the price! Corn maze was fun and challenging. Rope swings were cool too! We will definitely be back next year too!
This place was HUGE! Lot things to do especially if you have children! Wed like to go back when we have more time to explore. (Didnt do the corn maze today.). Plan to spend a lot of time here to get your moneys worth: admission is $17.50 per person Friday- Sunday yet its only $12.50 Monday-Thursday. Also be prepared for porta-potties for the bathroom.
Lots of fun family activities - probably a full days worth. Youll see the expected pigs and goats, a hay ride, and a corn maze. Youll also see some unique attractions, like barrel races, a trampoline, life- sized foosball, and a zip line. Theres a pretty garden beside the pumpkin patch where can catch a monarch. There are also sunflowers next to that as well. The only drawback is that its $15 for everyone. Our group had ages ranging from 7 yrs old to adult. Everyone pain the same price, $15. They seem to employ a lot of people and maintain the grounds really well. There are portable toilets, no fixed bathrooms, but they do have sinks with soap just outside the toilets.
This year was our first time attending and it was fabulous. Our 7 yr old did not want to leave after spending 3 hours here. The only complaint is when we were leaving there was no traffic direction/assistance and we sat in the parking lot for 30 mins before a customer took it upon himself to direct traffic and get people onto the road.
Fun place to visit with all the attractions at the farm including a corn maze, live music, and things for kids. Also a civil war re-enactment takes place in late October/early November. Will be back again to enjoy everything.
Its much better this year than this years. They have everything more organized and have added some new attractions its nice but the price of $15 per person is a little steep. The kids love it.
