Denny's in La Grande

Food was excellent. Service was slow, but good. Bathrooms were nasty.

One of the waitresses, Jaylee, always has a poor attitude when we come here. Every single time. Please do not work in customer service if you cannot be kind.

I was traveling through LaGrande over Memorial Day weekend and stopped at Dennys. Wow, amazing staff! Monday morning was super busy due to the Holiday. They did not miss a beat. The food was good too! Great Job Dennys LaGrande. Its so nice to get some good service for a change.

Waitress was very friendly and the service was good. I ordered chicken fried steak. The meat, potatoes and gravy was good. The zucchini & squash was overcooked, greasy, and cold.

We stopped on our way through Oregon to Idaho. I ordered hot tea and a cup of chicken noodle soup. My daughter ordered eggs Benedict without hashbrowns and a soda. See the waiter 4 times total. Order drinks, order food, bring food, bring check. I watched him go to other tables multiple times between. He was curt and not engaging with us. Food was meh.

I was expecting average food and service. I was pleasantly surprised with a juicy hand formed burger, hot and crisp fries and a chocolate shake. Tasty. Attentive service. My hubby was thrilled to be able to have his fav local beer with his club sandwich. Exceeded expectations.

Its spotless and the dimly-lit rooms give it a relaxing atmosphere while listening to the 80s 🎶, and the staff were professional and asked if you needed anything, like they would go by and refill your cup when its half full. The 🥓 bourbon 🍔 was satisfactory 😋 with the fries. Inside of the lobby theres four historic photos of La Grande on the wall for any traveler to get an idea of what La Grandes history was like.

The food would have been fine if it was hot. They left 2 of our meals sitting while preparing the 3rd. They should have brought our meals out when done and had discounted the 3rd meal due to poor planning.

Call in orders getting "bumped in front" of in restaurant orders extended our food wait time, but the wait staff was great and the food was good.

I have loved this Dennys ever since I was little. I have memories of coming in with my mom and seeing her co workers. I miss being a little kid, but I can always remember how it fell by coming back to this Dennys. ❤️

They have a pared down menu now but thats ok. We were there in the early afternoon. Received our food quickly. I got the burbon burger, it was very tasty but messy to eat.

Prices are high customer service is awesome great people. Problem is portions are small for what your paying coffee almost 3.00 and soda is 3.15 seems very high for even other restaurants around the area.

Waitress was friendly and prompt food was ok for the most part my mom ordered over medium eggs and got overheard other then that things were great thanks again to our waitress Tracy Witherspoon

The food was excellent, nice portions. Service was impecable. Amanda B. is a true asset to this restaurant. Very friendly and efficient. She was very busy with a lot of tables and didnt at all treat us as if she were in a rush. She was extremely pleasant, attentive and professional. We are just passing through town but if we ever come back through, most definitely will be stopping here for our meal.

We all had salmon dinner and it delicious, some of the best. Jeremy was our waiter and he was one of the best, friendly, courteous and caring. They have the best dinner salads also. Thank you

We spotted here for a late dinner driving from Oregon to Utah... the service was quick and the did was good. It had been years since we had been to a Dennys. I was actually surprised at how good the meal was. We all had Breakfast items for dinner.

Our waitress was exactly what you want at a restaurant. Dont remember her name but she is a Rockstar. The food is Dennys food. If you havent been there its worth a try. Its not home cooking but quick service and decent meal for the money.

Super fast and super friendly. Our waiter Jeremy was absolutely a gem .. he was so helpful and was funny and cracking jokes with our kids! Great experience!

Always consistent. Never been disappointed by my meal. Service is generally pretty fast. Even on a really busy Sunday my meal will come out sooner than I expected it to.

I typically enjoy eating at this restaurant because the food is good; however I was very disappointed the last time I ordered. I ordered a T-bone steak and requested that it be medium rare. The steak I received was well-done and the outside was burnt. The steak was very dry and unsatisfying.

We really enjoy eating here. Their newest menu has some very good dishes on it. Its relaxed, good service and very good food at a price that lets us go out multiple times a week.

Very fast seating, wonderful happy staff the food came very fast and was delicious. Waitress made sure we had everything and checked on us a couple of times. I was very impressed with this resteraunt.very clean with great vibes.

Waitresses were very nice, we had two because one was training. Food was delicious and at an affordable price. Never a disappointment when dining at Dennys!

Fun fact: you can add an extra patty to any burger. That includes double burgers. While a triple quarter pounder burger with fries and a shake might not be appealing to most, it is just the right amount of food for me, and I gotta say, it tasted good. Of course there are many other choices. Personally I love the skillets and the omlets. The grand slam is a great deal for those who want a lot of food for cheap. The service was great too. But a word of advice: there are two crane machines at the entrance. The one on the left is rigged. It is impossible for the crane to firmly grip the large boxes. I have tested this various times. The one on the right however should work fine.

We stopped in for dinner and breakfast the food was very good the morning staff was friendly and helpful the afternoon noon staff was more worried about his green hair that waiting on tables I would send him home until hi hair isn’t green

Overpriced bland breakfast, not worth half what I paid. The bacon was super thin, almost all fat and undercooked. The eggs were dry and flat. Staff was nice and the coffee was hot otherwise it would be 1 star. I wont be back.

The waiter (tall no hair guywas great and very prompt with everything. Everytime I stop here, he always has a great personality and excellent service. Cooks need to pay attention to tickets because they didnt get my food right.

Great afternoon at Dennys in LaGrande, Oregon. Staff was friendly and helpful. My spaghetti and meatballs were perfect believe it or not. My server, I think it was Natalie (something like thatmade me feel as if I were dining at home...better yet my mothers. 👍👍👌

Super Friendly Staff!The host and hostess along with the waiters and waitresses are always extremely friendly, polite, and accurate. This Dennys feels more like a cozy family owned restaurant rather than the nation wide chain it actually is. Prices are very affordable for any budget. The menu is fairly large offering everything from breakfast to dinner and everything in between. Most other Dennys I have been to in the state and out of state have all in my opinion been 2 to maybe 3 stars based on friendliness, accuracy, and overall yumminess of the food. This Dennys goes above and beyond with their outstanding service. With all that being said this Dennys is a strong 4 stars based on staff preformance, and 3.5 stars for quality of food. Dont get me wrong, the food isnt bad, it always taste good. The food just isnt on the level of a restaurant providing all fresh and or local ingredients with professional chef recipes. Overall a great place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a cozy family friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend this Dennys!

We have always enjoyed good food and service here. I have been to several other Dennys in different states but this is my favorite. The restaurant is clean and comfortable and is very well cared for.
