Denny's in Tucson

Very disappointed in service it was👎usually theyre on top if it even during wknd rush. It did look like server was occupied with other " going ons" than checking on orders that were ready.

Horrible slow service waited approximately 15 minutes to get waitress to come and bring menus and water Restaurant only had a couple customers so no excuse ,in the rest room you stuck to the floor tables where not cleaned after customers left , this place needs a new manager and servers or close the doors sorry worst Dennys ever we will never be back

We made 2 attempts to eat there today as my boyfriend likes the burger, both to-go orders. First time, they forget part of my order, and the cobb salad with prime rib was very sad. My boyfriends side salad was better looking and just as big, and very little meat or toppings. Definitely NOT a meal size salad. 2nd time, everything was in there. But my side of fries was horribly small. I paid 4.99 for an order of fries and got 9 fries. Wow is all I can say. Then I asked for extra ranch for the salads, which I didnt get. And I was charged .99 for a tiny little side cup of ranch for the fries! .99 for a 2oz cup of ranch is ridiculous. I was not even told I was being charged for it until I was checking the receipt later. May be ok if you dine in, but it definitely is not ok for take out.

Typical Dennys food. Wonderful for breakfast. I think they have the best milkshakes ever! I had pot roast and it was delicious. The vegetables in the pot roast were al dente, so if you dont like your vegetables firm, thats a fair warning. Its an old restaurant so its been redone a few times, but was very clean. We sat in a booth and the seat on my side was collapsing, so we had to move. Obviously someone very, very heavy had sat in it for a long time. Everyone was friendly and kind. Service was rather slow. I think it was the cook that was slow. This Dennys is not in a great part of town, so there were people outside begging and some with car trouble. It is located just off the freeway at St. Marys. That area of Tucson is under construction right now, so it was difficult to get to because of that.

Just walked over from the nearby motel for a quick bite to eat after a long day driving and we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service by Margarita and especially, Kaylins willingness to alter the salmon slightly, and using critical thinking skills, altered the toast accordingly.We were going to find an upscale restaurant, but Im glad we stopped at this Dennys #6913You go girls!!!

Their place was clean. I ordered a custom 3 egg omelette with bacon. It was sizeable and yummy. Had some leftovers for next day. Server dissappeared for a spell and kept us waiting to order. Good otherwise.

Food was decent, nice friendly staff, but a little over crowded for a late night meal.. server was very attentive for how busy it was..

Our waitress Bobbe was great. She kept our coffee cups full and was great in marking sure we had everything.

Ordered the spicy sizzling skillet to go and they gave me a small portion ( as compared to their regular black square boxes)There was also no jalapeños so it wasn’t even spicy. Super disappointed since I order from Denny’s all the time.

Ordered pancakes and only half of them came and NO SYRUP so I couldn’t even eat what did come. The phone number is disconnected or doesn’t work so there’s no way to even make it right. SPENT $41

Our waitress was falling over seemed very high. Ordered food and waited nearly an HOUR and they still hadnt even started our order. Had to walk out. Will not go back. Avoid this location.

The service was okay we had to wait longer than wed hoped and once I received my chicken fried steak it was so crispy and my mashed potatoes were very runny I will not order dinner from there again

Food was surprisingly good, better than l expected, but service was slow.

My brother and his wife love this place and took us out for the night. Great atmosphere, food and staff. Live music made it fun. Will come back next time were in town.

My Son and I had dinner at the Dennys in Tucson I-10 and 6th Ave. We both had Skillets. Excellent 👍

Late night Eats! The ladies working the night of 2 weeks ago were great servers, cooks, cashier, hostess! Atmosphere was not crowded at 1130 at night!

Breakfast was awesome Ive eaten at this Dennys many times always good service always good food same today but our service was a little different she did a very great job but she might need to be pee tested 🤣🤣 just saying

Was not satisfied with the bourbon burger it was too sweet in its juices not a satisfying burger should of been more crispy pickles onions. Lettuce was saggy and tasteless. Get rid of it !!!

This location is very dirty. Speration gards filthy not to mention the cockroach 🪳 running by me perhaps beating me to my plate that I didnt eat .perhaps he was trying to reach his other roach by the restroom. The African American cook was on his phone and cooking some people call it skills others call it discussing The server was sorry if that means anything. Never again.

Stopped in tonight as we were waiting for our food we saw a roach crawling on the window pane the manager did not say anything just came out and killed it and walked back in to the back waitress was so kind and felt so bad. Before walking out we saw another roach by the bathroom one of the worst Dennys locations Ive been in.

The burger I ordered was great. My family was happy with their food and the service was excellent. We visit this location often.

Extremely Dirty Bathrooms and Extremely Long Wait times for food and seating during non rush hours

First time coming to Tuscon in a long time. Went to visit my cousin after taking the bus from phoenix to get a bite to it. I usually get the usually such as a grand slam or a slamburger, but havent tried a skillet in a while. I ordered the chicken skillet which was great. Food came out quick since it was about 1am.

Best meal Ive ever had from a Dennys, actual real-life, top notch, delicious food served on time and per request. Couldnt have asked for a better dining experience.

This is the best Dennys in town I just moved to Tucson and have been going to out to eat all kinds of places been to a few Dennys in town and this one is the best friendly servers that makes you want to come back in here and not only my server helped me everyone around help each other and cooks did a great job my food came out and fast and hot looked like the picture even I also really liked to see the manager helping everyone cooks servers and even the dish washer you just see that anymore and he even came out and talked a lot of the guests at the tables I will be coming back here for sure.

One of my fathers favorite restaurants in the world.DENNYSOn our 6 day road trip, I believe we ate at 4 different Dennys.One in northern Arizona, once in New Mexico, twice in Lubbock, Texas and once in southern Arizona. Thats actually 5 times. Each time everything was great all around.ThanksPeace

Was staying at the hotel next door and went inside to do a to go order. THREE employees that I could see and I stood there waiting for quite a while. One waitress was running around doing things for the waitress that was waiting on tables but told me she couldnt take my order and told me to wait for the other waitress and didnt even offer a menu so I grabbed one from the stand myself. I got tired of waiting and left without food and went to whataburger instead.

This is the 1st place Ive seen that would hire homeless people so they can get back on their feet and off the street. Plus their waitresses are some of the best I have seen in a while. Thank you guys for caring so much.

Me and my family was just there for the first time at this Dennys in Tuscon AZ. Located 555 N. Freeway 85745. I came in and sat down got my drinks and ordered. My son noticed there was a cockroach on the ground crawling and I noticed it too. I immediately asked for manager and I brought it to her attention she said they just sprayed. So she told me and my family she would take care of my bill. While waiting for my food to get done I noticed there were more ofthem crawling around on the chairs and table legs. So I decided to get my food to go because I didnt want them crawling on me.Then I checked out then they only took off $6.40 which was military discount which we already was getting because I was a veteran. So the manager did not take care of the bill. I think I wont be going back to this restraunt. This is a health and unsafe condition where people eat food.

Having not been to a Dennys in 10 years, I had the very pleasant experience of eating at this Dennys three days in a row as I was staying at the motel next door. They so far exceeded my expectations that they have changed my mind about eating at Dennys again. The staff was pleasant and the food arrived quickly, hot, and delicious. On the third day the Manager Tanya took my order and I had the best French Dip Ive ever had, and Ive had hundreds (literally, its my favorite thing to orderall over the country. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. Keep up the good work, Tanya.

Always been a favorite since I was a kid. They have a great selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Recently I got the Cobb salad with grilled chicken which was delicious. Actual real bacon, and avocado. My sever was pleasant and cheerful who made the customers laugh. They are always better than ihop in my personal opinion. I hope they continue to open more locations in the future!

We were coming from Benson and stop at Dennys off Oracle in Tucson was dreadful messy, dirty, only one person working,no one to greet us ,so I spoke up and said I need a table for 3 ,she said i have 3tables before u. Im alone it will be about 30min.i told her never mine Ill go to the other Dennys down the road just as u leave Tucson,about 3 miles from Marana.That location was awesome and our server was a gentlemen was very professional.awesome server.I live in Tempe will gladly return to this location.when returning to Benson.,If this is the location were I had dinner I rate them with 5 stars

Wanted comfort food. They were busy and understaffed but they handled it with a smile and team work. Good to see the manager tie and all running the line. I have jumped behind the line in my stockings and heels back in the day.! The service was great, and the wait for food really was only about 15 minutes or so. The food was served hot, cooked correctly and pretty good.

Had a wonderful experience at this specific location. Stopped in with my granddaughter over the weekend for the Grand slam, our waitress was extremely pleasant and went out of her way to make us feel welcome, our order was prompt hot and delicious! Alexandria was most genuine and professional and we look forward to returning.

They were super busy and the hostess/manager stepped in and helped out. As the other servers arrived it was like a shift change, and she made sure we got our drinks and explained to us what was going on, didnt keep us just standing there wondering what the heck? The food was good, the server was great. This is the best Dennys in town.

I am revising my earlier review , I had wrote a review of this Dennys "Dont go there , I waited 35minutes to get a hostess or a waitress to seat me , but no one even acknowledged that I was even there" , after reading the review The manager contacted me , he invited me to come back to make things right , he was a man of his word , and this time I had no trouble getting seated , as soon as we entered we were acknowledged , staff were nice and attentive , this, all before they knew it was the one who wrote the bad first review . I will defenetely come back !!!

I havent eaten at Dannys in years, but my waitress was amazing..... food was even better...fast and hot! Its my new second home. Lol I started eating before I remembered to take a picture !!! Ir was so good!

#coronavirusJust Not Worth the Your Time or Money!!!!!OK, I am a huge Dennys fan! However, this location is under new management, with a new wait staff and a new cook. And after 3 bad dinning experience in a roll, Im so done with this location! Our 1st bad visit was on a Sunday morning, we were told it would be a 15min wait. But, the girl taking names & seating customer past us over and seated 3 other groups before us. A 15min wait turned into a 45min wait without an explanation or an apology. Our 2nd bad visit was a late dinner on a Thursday, I ordered the Crazy Spicy Sizzling Skillet, which ended up being the skimpiest portion ever because the cook left out the chorizo. I immediately got our waitress attention and explained that the chorizo was missing. 10mis later, the manager comes over and states that I have to pay $5 for more chorizo. At this point I start getting irritated and very firmly state that Im not about to pay extra for something the was shorted from my meal to begin with! My 3rd bad visit was the following Sunday morning. I ordered the Lumberjack breakfast which took forever to come out from the kitchen. When it was finally brought to the table, the silverware was dirty, the Pancakes were so cold that heap of butter on top never even began to melt, even after placing the butter between both pancakes. If that wasnt bad enough the ham on the plate was burnt, the bacon and eggs cold as well. Talk about adding Insult to injury, time after time... dont bother to waste your time with this Dennys location.Dennys surely is Americas Diner!Ive always loved eating at Dennys. They have great food and great service. Im so happy to see their dinning room back open.Stopped in after a long week and another long day at work. Surprisingly, this location has a more extensive "limited menu" compared to their location at Oracle a, nd River. I choose the Crazy Spicy Sizzling Skillet with tortillas and a Diet Coke with no ice for my dinner selection this night.Be for warned, if you prefer mild or medium salsa or if you have acid reflux, then the Crazy Spicy Sizzling Skillet isnt for you. Made with chorizo, fire-roasted bell-peppers and onions, mushrooms, seasoned red skinned potatoes, jalapenos. Topped with grilled seasoned chicken breast, cheddar cheese a spicy five pepper sauce, and Pepper Jack queso. Served with your choice of toast or tortillas.My only complaint is that the tortillas were old and rubbery. Like chewing on an old bike inner tube, couldnt even ripe a bite off the tortillas with my teeth because they were so rubbery.

Great food and great service just a little cold in the restaurant for us, but then again we are from Mesa

Even during this pandemic & having a limited menu, you guies made the perfect menu decisions. My family and I enjoyed dinning with Dennys. Great Job serving the people.

Went for my birthday to redeem my free Grand Slam breakfast and it was a very pleasant dining experience! My server Deborah was absolutely one of the best servers Ive ever encountered.She was on top of everything and extremely nice, but in a genuine way that showed she actually cared about her patrons. Of course, as you can see in the photo all the food was prepared perfectly. Happy to come back here again and actually pay full price for my breakfast!

Took my daughter to lunch before she went to her first day of work! Shared a Avocado Burger with seasoned fries. Our food was hot and delicious!Service was great!
