Denny's in Vernal

My husband and I came to check out Vernal. Dennys has always been a favorite of ours. The food and service were great. I only gave 4 stars because as we were leaving, I witnessed a worker sneeze into her hand twice then continued handling pick up orders.

Messed up our pick up order had to wait 45 mins to go get my food by the time I got back everyone had already eaten.

Plenty of very nice waiters. We loved Anthony. Very kind ,efficient,and patient.We will come again

Great service and the food is on point. Also probably the cleanest restaurant I have ever been in.

Unless you like burnt pancakes and under cooked sausage I would avoid this one. Franchising some restaurants isnt always a good thing.

Decent food and comfortable atmosphere. Great with the kids, and a good family dining experience. Havent been here in a while, the service turned me off them a while ago. My niece asked to go here for pancakes for dinner tonight, so I decided to give them another chance. Service was better tonight, food arrived in decent amount of time. Its still noty favorite place to go, but it was pretty good tonight.

As always, the nachos were great and the waitress was amazing and wish I would have got her name to put in this. She was a rockstar!!!

Food selection is amazing! And the service was impeccable... I cant remember the waitresses name but would like to give a girl that worked July 1st! Give that girl a raise!!!

Food was great server was nice but I’d asked for Lemmon twice and my husband asked again before finally getting me some.

This Denny’s is by far my favorite. We had an excellent server, Anthony Lee, who took great care of us. And to top it off the meal was delicious. I’d love to come back here.

Having breakfast with my kids. Very nice friendly staff. Flood always good. Almost all the comfort foods you like.

Dennys is always great. Been going there for at least 50 years. Check it out. Clean.... good food.... friendly folks. Cant beat it.

Well Dennys.... you are not the same Dennys we used to love. The last time we went to you i was laughed at because my biscuits and gravy were TERRIBLE. I called corporate and they said they would call your manager and deal with it and then sent us 2 coupons for free build your own slams. Today we went to use these coupons and ordered our meals when going to pay we were told we cant use them together and my wife was given a very poor attitude by some pock marked rude woman. The coupon says ONE COUPON PER CUSTOMER!!!! There were 4 of us. We can use 4 coupons. Our service wasnt poor but ALL of the portions were half what they used to be, under cooked eggs, over cooked bacon ( actually now their bacon is 1 thin sliced piece sliced in half and called 2. It is truly paper thin and over cooked). I am once again calling the corporate complaint line. I want a full refund and I will NEVER return to this Dennys location!!

Such great service! Our waiter was happy, fast paced yet took the time to listen about my dairy allergy and found options for me on the menu. The food was amazing and so filling! I had the bacon avacado burger with no cheese. Not what I was expecting from Dennys and it surpassed all expectations.

Great service and good food. Fair dinner prices and very clean.

Took over an hour to get our meal. When we got our meal the order was messed up. The waitress only came to the table twice the entire time we were here.

Anthony was such a pleasure. Very attentive and kind. Food was very good as always.

Had a wonderful waitress, got our food promptly and it was delicious. Everything was fresh and cooked well and reasonably priced.

I was extremely unhappy. My friends got there and ordered before me; no big deal. I called one of my friends about 15 minutes before I got there and asked her to order a coffee for me. I got there, no one had been by for her to do it. Server finally came, I put in my order. 30 minutes later, four other tables had gotten there, ordered, and had gotten their food. I was pretty upset by that point. I got up, paid for my coffee-and as I got in my car, my friend told me that my order had been canceled. It should have been made by that point. Cold, even. Something. 30 minutes after ordering, and they hadnt even started my order.

I dont know if you put cheese on your scrambled egg or not but ordered then today and said no cheese ! It was loaded😡 Im not a cheese eater , and Im sure there are people out there like me 😡 why cant simple orders be followed 😡 and the waitress ok but not overly friendly . This is the second Dennys ( 1 in Creg Co and the second in Vernal UtNow the Dennys in Slena Ut COULD TEACH THESE TWO A THING OR TWO ON PROPER COOKING AND SERVICE.

The food is good but lately when we do online order they are always 15-20 longer than when they say the order will be complete. They are well-staffed. Half of our food is always cold. It makes me sad. This was one of our favorite breakfast take-out places.

Surprisingly good. The fries were very hot and fresh. The Sandwichs were also very good. I just could not bring myself to give 5 stars but close.

Omg! So I had never eaten at Dennys until about 2 months ago. My kids, husband and I were ordering breakfast and I saw a grand slam meal for $6.99, and thought it would be great for my 2 & 4 year olds, so I ordered each one of those meals and whole cow! One order was enough to feed 2 adults! So the kids had lunch from it too. A great bargain for such a small price, and Im a bigger woman so if I say its a lot of food, believe it! Go with an appetite

Service was very slow. Our food took a long time. Other customers who were seated after us, got their food first. Server was not too good at telling us what about the hold up was on our food. We were seated in a corner, guess we were easy to forget about.

The food was extremely good and our waitress was such a sweetheart with a bubbly personality. I think her name was Brooke? Im not very sure, but she did a fantastic job taking care of us tonight and the other tables around us. I wish I couldve given more of a tip for her service, but I had $36 on me so thats what I gave her. A job well done to her and the cooks who made our order!!

So disappointed. We normally love to go to Dennys all over the place, but this Dennys was horrible. Our waitress had her very young children there and was trying to watch them and work at the same time. She got our order completely wrong, so half of us had food and the other half of our family had to wait, so our food got cold while we waited for theirs so we could all eat together. Next time we are in Vernal we will avoid this restaurant.

The food was alright, some of it was a bit cold, but it was ok. The strawberry shake was the best part of the meal. The waitress was really good, she continually checked on us and refilled our drinks.

This is an excellent Denny’s. Our waitress was very attentive and even turned the heat up when we requested it. The senior omelette with turkey bacon in it and a big scoop of avocado on top was very delicious. Even the hashbrowns were really good. We will definitely go again!

Wonderful staff, clean restaurant. Food came out popping hot, the employees were clean and hospitable.The raspberry tea and the double patty melt were perfect. The apple crisp with ice cream hit the spot.The tables were spotless and the staff attentive and the over all energy here was very good.I will return here, many times more.

Service was excellent. It was my daughters birthday and the waitress heard but we mentioned daughter is lactose intolerant. Later she came and said I found a workaround and they sang her happy birthday. And gave her something with no dairy. And she made sure our water was full. I didnt catch her name but she was great.

Our most recent visit was a disappointment.The menu has changed and several items have been replaced by bowls such as the pot roast.It tasted like a microwaved freezer meal and had way too much celery and over-sized hard carrots - the meat portion was really small.The fresh broccoli with parmesan was good for one of us and nasty for another. We all tried a bit of both and agreed something was wrong.Finally, the garlic bread was blah. It used to be really tasty.Overall, wasted money.

Went to lunch and had the most wonderful customer service from our server, Anthony! He was attentive, engaging, and hard working! The food was great, but Anthony was a star! He ranks right up there with the customer service expected from Disney cast members. If anyone from Dennys management reads this review, give this employee a significant raise and promotion. He is the type of person you should invest to create a culture which brings the customers back with regularity. Remarkable experience!Way to go...Lucio! :)

Went out to breakfast for my friends birthday and everything was perfect! Food was hot and delicious, our drinks were constantly full. Anthony L. was our server. He was amazing! He got myfriend got some free ice cream for her birthday, but he also sang to her and made her a little origami dragon! You can definitely tell he cares for his customers and wants them to have the best dining experience possible!

We went out to brunch with my husband and my mother in law, and Anthony L. Was our server and let me tell you he kept us laughing, happy and enjoying our experience. He is an absolutely wonderful server! The food was good and the service was great! We will be back.

It was lacking. My waiter seemed like a dead inside Emo boy from the early 2000s. There was a mans hair in my sons food. Im sure it fell off the cook. They gave him a new plate and didnt charge me for it. They were nice. It was an odd time of night. I mean, I think they did their best. I hate giving bad ratings.

EDIT: I went in today with a pickup order and it went perfectly! It really looks like they took my review seriously and I genuinely appreciate it. Thanks!I love Dennys and its my favorite restaurant to sit down at. However, when I order through the app to pickup items, every single time Im missing something. Im not sure if its because its low priority for the restaurant to focus on online orders, or theyre not reading the ticket well, because the item im missing is always on the ticket receipt they give me. Dennys is great to sit down at, but not to order online from.

Well it has been a couple of years, since I had last eaten there. I remember a robust menu and decent food. However that was not the case this time. The country fried steak tasted like a patty melt fennel and onion flavors, hash hashbrowns were undercooked and soaked in grease. So service was good they made the poor food quality "right". I dont know if it is due to covid, or just this particular establishment, but it will be years before I go back.

Super fast service even when it was busy! Very helpful and kind staff! Super delicious food that was cooked exactly the way we wanted which wasnt even on the menu! They were great and my family will be coming here again

We had a great experience last night at Denny’s in Vernal! We had a cute, very friendly waitress named Sierra. She was so sweet and very quick with our meal, refills, and check! We will definitely be dining with Denny’s again in the near future!!

If your looking for a quick bite to eat on the go this is it! We were on a 4 hour road trip from salt lake city utah when we came in.. A large party and a few smaller parties were in front of us and we were worried the service would be slow but infact our server carter had us in and out. And was totally on top of it ! We were super happy with the service and food !

This place was very clean and had a very hospitable, cheery vibe. The food was good and the wait for it was short. But, I wanted to focus more on our server, Suzy. She was, hands down, the most pleasant server Ive ever come across and Ive seen many in my long existence. She was always smiling, engaging, and did everything humanly possible to make our dining experience pleasurable. Her disposition was an outstanding example of how humans should treat each other with kindness and respect. My only regret is Im not from the area, because I would be a regular at that Dennys and would ask for Suzy all the time. Thats not a knock on the other servers, because they seemed very nice as well. It was just such a nice environment and, yes, the food was very good. Go there of you can.

Went for my great aunts birthday dinner tonight, we had 10 people. Outstanding service from our server Tosh! She was an amazing server very polite and well mannered for being so young! My aunt has never had a such a great server on her day. Thank you for making her feel so young! Definitely will be back for Tosh’s service.

Top customer service I have received from Dennys. Waitress and manager were attentive & sociable. Ordered a veggie omelette with feta cheese and chicken strips and fries with zuchinni. Everything was piping hot & tasty!! Clean restrooms.

The service is pretty good. I prefer Dennys cause I know its always a good decision!

Love their bourbon sauce. Staff was super friendly. And we totally overstayed our welcome but waitress didnt rush us out. Ordered super complicated dishes with substitutions and got exactly what was requested it was a good experience. Especially since we went at 12am

I love Dennys and this particular location has always been good to me.The service is good, prompt and courteous.My order is always correct and they are very accommodating to the pickier eaters in the group.The service is friendly but not overbearing, which is nice, your drink never sits empty longer than 2 minutes without a server offering to fill it.They may not even be your particular waitress!All in all, good experience.
