Denny's in Buffalo

The place smells bad, cant quite describe it besides maybe a nursing home, also the service is rather miserable, but the food tasted pretty good nonetheless so kudos to the chief.

Started off with getting a cup of coffee with lip stick on it. When meal came crepes and sausage were luke warm and strawberries were ice cold.

We cant rate the food because we never had the opportunity to order. The service, or lack of, we did experience. I wish we could give negative stars. We were seated and waited for 17 minutes before we decided to leave. We were never acknowledged once we were seated. Didnt even get offered water. I would have understood if they were busy. However there were occupied 4 tables including our table. 8 customers in total. Maybe they were short staffed? Did not appear to be. I saw/heard at least 4 employees in addition to the host. We were near the kitchen and could hear/see the staff. From what we heard, conversation ranged from expressing frustration over work to what they did or planned on doing... We decided to leave when someone finally walked out of the kitchen looked in our direction and walked past us. As we left we saw the host sitting in the waiting area on his phone. Wished him a good night and thanked him. Headed to Kostas a couple mins away. In the time we spent waiting; 17 mins, we were seated, our order was taken and we were served our appetizers. I suspect thats why Kostas had 30 plus people dining and Dennys had 8. Excuse me. 6.

Worst waitress Ive ever had here! She was rude, she never came back not one time once we got our food, and when I did stop her to ask for a box and the bill she acted like I was bothering her. I usually tip on the higher end, but this visit wasnt worth more than a few dollars. And thats only because she took our order and brought our food out. Our food looked like it was sitting in the window for a while.

Absolutely love Dennys, best all day breakfast restaurant around.

Kind of slow, order was not complete, had to wait for potatoes. Waitress forgot she went to get us coffee, then came back a while later to ask if we wanted coffee. This was our first opportunity to point out part of our order was missing.

This had to be the dirtiest dennys or restaurants Ive ever been in..Dirty everything..including the servers very long fingernails.Food was standard dennys food...but not feeling so good right now after eating it..I would not suggest going there unless u have no other choice...🤮

The food was mediocre, not that anyone goes to Dennys for the amazing food. The interior was clean but the exterior could use some attention. The staff spent their time on their phones and not much taking care of the customers.

Im never going back. My children and I went for breakfast..we were seated and ignored. The waitress in that section purposely never came to our table, we waited for 20min when a lady from the front desk came to take our order and brought drinks. We never received our food! The waitress kept walking by like we werent there. We waited 40mins before leaving, she never came to the table, we never received our food..

My server was great. Our food wasnt for the price we paid.

The moment I got to the door the outside was filthy and desperately needed sweeping. The food was decent but almost impossible to eat with the flies swarming around. The carpet smelled like dirty feet and the manager was quite rude to several customers. I hadnt been to Dennys in years and based on that experience I wont be going again.

Bad service!! The restaurant smelled as soon as you walked in the door. When we were seated the waiter never took our drink order. We waiting 20 mins no one ever came so we decided to leave! Please go elsewhere.

No buns, no receipts. They wanted to sit me by a dog. Not a service dog. Just a persons dog & the person was feeding the dog from the table. I will never go there again!!!🤬 it was not clean but the waitress was good.

Service was a little slow, but she was friendly and got everything correct. Food was very good and consistent, as to be expected at this chain.

Went here to try to go for breakfast. They are still running Covid protocols and asking people to wait in their cars... very un organized. Every other restaurant is open normal business and you are still running under lifted protocols??? Decided to take our business elsewhere.

Dennys has a great breakfast special going on now thats less than $10. Its great!

They have the best cook. And hes handsome too. I usually see him in the kitchen with a pineapple hat

Yest I went to eat at Dennys Rest on Delaware Ave. The food was ok,just ok nothing to brag about. The employees are very nice & welcoming.

Food was not up to par ordered a ham bacon n cheese omelette and recieved meat scraps no cheese and what looked like scrambled eggs that were not yet cut up. They tried to get it right twice n still managed to get it wrong. Manager was great though and took the omelette i mean scrambled eggs off my bill.

Server was good biscuits were hard as heck 😫

Went there for breakfast with my Sister-in-love and the food was great. Our waiter was fantastic, friendly and personable!! Will return!!

Pretty much an All around great experience, fast food friendly service nice atmosphere, maybe next time well stay for dessert.

Great food and great service from all the staff. Our waitress Rachel went above and beyond. The entire staff worked together. The cinnamon roll pancakes are delicious!!!!

Most locations are wonderful. However I dont recommend the Delaware avenue location, food is still good service still good but the patrons 🙄 I asked to be moved away from a table where a woman was on her phone MF ing every other sentence. (I had my 6 year old grand baby with mealthough they moved us with apologies they said nothing to the other table. Which we could still hear in the other room.

Literally worst experience ever!! I came to NY for vacation and my food had a hair in it, my lemons for my water had food on them. And all the server said was “I’m sorry” will literally never return!

Fast, last minute breakfast choice. Its always good and offers seasonal food specials - like sticky bun pancakes. Yum!Its Dennys. AARP discounts accepted. Good, friendly service at this location. I dont eat here often but when I do, it always fills the bill.

Ate with my best friend and their sister for the first time (funny enoughsince neither of our families ever took us to Dennys but this locations staff was AMAZING lots of personality, our server was so nice and you could tell she was a fun person! I didnt take pictures of the food since we were hungry and tore it up sadly but the good thing with chain restaurants is the food is identical to the photos you see online. The portions were bigger than we expected too so we nearly over ate and only used the unlimited breakfast option 1 time.

Food took triple the time it normally takes. I was told they don’t have a cook so the manager is cooking. Never going back here again.

I love this place its great food and the service was exactly what i need it wonderful people i like to go there at least once a week when i dont feel like to cook.

I ordered on the DoorDash which is a big mistake! When you do you are not given proportion size meals , as opposed to order to pick it up! This is a shame in the present day situation we are in ! I have just realized I will be keeping my money from now on! And delete the app 😔😔👋

My neighbor treated to breakfast, and he ordered a Grand Slam so I just followed his order. What we got was a overpriced breakfast that I should have taken a picture of. Not to mention the toast we ordered didnt come with the plate so we waited for the lame toast that was almost burnt and dry (there must have been a butter shortageand was charged extra for it. For just a few dollars more I should have suggested The Original Pancake House. Sorry Dennys you gotta step it up!

I didnt enjoy our breakfast. The hash browns were not fully cooked. What was very unsettling is what I believe to be the exhaust fan operates in a way that the air pressure inside feels and sounds like you are eating beside transport truck. I actually went out to look and planned on asking the truck to shut down....there was no truck. The noise ND eR pressure was very annoying. I wont be back.

My 14 year old treated her mom for lunch and I must say the waiter we got was completely awesome! His energy matched the mommy and me vibe we had going on so besides being clean the staff is great!

Was real crowded 30 minute wait. Had grandslam. Scramble eggs tasted substituted powers eggsHad pieces of metal in them.Hosted was very polite got new hot food. So Ill rate it a 7 out of 10.Morning is very busy on the weekends so dont blame the staff

I paid extra for bacon and sausage never got my bacon just like I never do from this place also I ordered over medium eggs and I got scrambled eggs and I won’t even consider them scrambled they look old runny and disgusting.

Usually don’t review places when I have a bad experience but this was just disrespectful. Ordered my steak medium…. First one was raw in the center so I sent it back didn’t take a picture of it. Waiter was a sweet girl and she was very sorry about it told me they’d have another out in 2 minutes. I see the cook come out giggling whispering to the other employees as he watches my reaction after seeing how hard I just got disrespected. The steak was cold out of the fridge. I have never seen anything like it in my entire life. Also ordered my eggs over easy they came out scrambled. All the others eating with me were pretty disappointed in their food as well.

Worst burger I have ever had. Bun was stale and crumbly, patty was dripping oil. Fries were old and cool. Waitress was adequately polite and timely. My kids each had a lumberjack slam, neither finished it. Ham was dry and unsightly, eggs were slimy, toast was cold. I paid the bill, guy at the counter was nice and helpful. Tipped 20% and bounced. Havent been there in like 10 years, dont think Ill go back again.

Havent been in much and not this one in ages, covid and all. Place didnt seem busy, but service was slow. Staff was busy though. It must be a popular online takeout place, people popping in and grabbing bags a lot! Ive heard the take out to home has tripped up eat in places and their dinning room service. Really sucks all around... Good was good tho.

The food came out fast, the waitress was great, there was a pretty bad car wreck in front of the store and we weren’t seated within the view of the possible dead body, so that sucks. I was hoping for a show with my breakfast. The seats were harder than I expected, kinda like my life. I also took all of the creamers that were offered on the table with me, so thank you, Denny’s. Highly Recommend.

Food was great. Got the bourbon bacon burger it was very clean and the service was excellent would recommend

Hey this place hooked us up one very small mistake but yet they rectified this a hundred times over the customer service was right on point they literally affirmed and acknowledged the mistake they made and promptly took care of it the food was great and it was filling thank God for them and all of the people who were taking care of us

Worst service ever, waited 30 mins just to place our food order, waitress never came back to see how everything is, had a coffee cup which looked like a bugar was stuck to the rim of the cup, dirty silverware that was "clean" and a dirty table. Waitress had a terrible attitude from the gate, and didnt seem to want to be bothered with customers. Also when the issues were brought to the managers attention when we were paying, he said "well this is the first time Im hearing about your experience, so I cannot do anything about it." Will definitely not return, 2nd time I had an issue with this dennys.

The food was pretty good here. The server was nice. I got the cheese steak omelette with hash browns and an English muffin. I actually wanted French toast instead but when she told me the price I had to pass. They want $2.50 per slice which would have made my breakfast with an OJ like $24. No complaints other than that.

Two stars because it is Christmas. Unfortunately that is where positives end. I understand this is Dennys and theyre open 24/7 so there needs to be some exception made for that however, this was just a poor experience. Were able to get seated fairly quickly and drinks were brought quickly as well. my girlfriend kicked a steak fry on her way to our seats. which immediately brought my attention to how dirty the floors were. having worked in a 24-hour diner I understand how that happens from time to time however there was a guy sweeping the floor and he missed 99% of what was on the floor. upon getting our silverware I noticed there were smudges and even possibly some leftover syrup from its previous use. Luckily my meal didnt need the use of a fork. I was able to hear loud conversations from the staff about who has to be at work and why and who was upset because they had to stay and help. there was loud singing from the kitchen however it wasnt Christmas music so Im not sure what that was about. We order food and waited a fairly decent amount of time for it to arrive. There were customers in the restaurant but by no means were they busy. The food was pretty decent when it came out no big issues there. We were checked on twice relatively quick and then left to our own devices for a fairly long amount of time. After we finish eating we were tended to 20 minutes later. There were plenty of staff standing around but our waitress was missing. when she did appear she said she would bring the check instead of asking if we wanted dessert. We got our dessert and our food ready to go. I know that when you get something to go its never really that pretty but they pretty much gave us apple soup and ice cream. Overall this was a poor experience outside of the food.

Great place for good food. Chocolate lava cake was THE best. Friendly staff and good choice items to choose from.

I got amazing service, great tasting food, and the server kindly put in an extra order of eggs for me because the first order of eggs didnt look like it had cheese on it as I had ordered. She was patient with me as I was on the phone when she was ready to take my order and always came over to check up on me with a big smile. I wasnt told ahead of time that cheese was extra on the eggs but who can complain when the service was impeccable and the food tasted great. It is very rare that I even eat breakfast food but this day I was glad that I made the decision to have it and at this location.
