Nice pub on the riverside (Rive Gauchein Trondheim. Good place for a beer in a good city to be in.

Very cosy and openly happy place. Great for catching up with friends on drinks. Blankets provided when you sit at the floating side 😊😊 just one thing we missed was that its a bar and so less hot foods.

This is one of my favorite pubs in Trondheim! Situated on the old Town Bridge over the Nidelva River, it makes you experience the authentic feeling of the interior of old river houses. The taps are not super thrilling, but the environment definitely makes up for that. Last Time I was there during the Ale Festival so I could taste some pretty interesting beers and ales from local breweries, so definitely a great experience.

Wonderful pub in an ancient warehouse. The atmosphere feels like having a drink in the lower deck of a merchant ship. Beautiful view on the river and in good days you can hang out on a barge next to the bridge. The staff is very nice and they have a good selection of beers.

A great place to stop by for beer. Unique atmosphere in an old, and crooked riverside building by Nidelven. The wooden interior makes it a special experience. In the summer they have a raft on the Nidelven river accessible from inside the bar, where you can enjoy your beer in any weather. The staff is and has always been very knowledgeable in craft beers and they have a wide variety of quality local and imported beer on tap and cans/bottles. If youre lucky they will even have hand pumped beer available.

My go-to bar in Trondheim! The place has a lovely atmosphere and a huge variety of beers. The bartenders know their beer, and some are very into giving you advices on beers to try. Its looks like an old wooden cabin inside (in a good and cozy wayand in the summer you can enjoy your drinks outside on Nidelven😊

Den gode nabo has a rustic atmosphere and a quite nice selection of beers. As for getting something to eat, pizzas, toasts, nachos and snacks is available.

Its a cool pub now after the renovations with a second set of taps that have a nice selection beers from small breweries that are not available elsewhere. Slightly touristy and not cheap, but cosy.

Very good pizza and a nice place, unfortunately the AC was blowing in our face and we got the last off the beer tap, so it was a bit flat.

This is a great bar with lots of personality. Tall people should be careful. Drunk people should go home when the floors are level.

I had been living in Trondheim for half a year already, but somehow didnt go there though i really wanted to check it out. On a nice sunny say i however found a way there as every other pub had already been tried out. The place is located in a really old building by the Nidelva river. The place has low seiling and ancient atmosphere which makes the place super cool to visit even in the daytime. On the back theres a floating terrace/bar where you can enjoy the sun on the river and see the people walking across the Gamle bybro which is the Old town bridge. There are some beers with very favourable prices and students also get a juicy discount. Will definitely visit that place again!

I really miss Trondheim for a few reasons, this place is one of them. The bar tenders are witty and friendly and full of fun. They know their stuff and if you ask for recommendations they will give them to you.

This is a pub that serves many different beers and also serve snacks, pizza and burgers. It is famous for its location in bakklandet and for having an floating platform in the river (nidarelvaused for put door seating.

What an amazing place. This pub is older than America. Lots of staff that are knowledgeable and passionate about the beers and spirits they sell. They can tell you where its from and fun facts about them and recommend drink depending on what your tastes are. Staff are from all over the world so drinks are very varied and a feast for your senses. Inside the pub is so interesting with niknaks and photos. A good atmosphere and great staff make for an interesting night or a few nights as staff become friends very easily.

One of my favorite places in Trondheim to get a beer. Cozy place right next to the old town bridge. They have lots of local and foreign brews on tap.

Very nice mood overall,and very good home brewed beer. The floor is rather crooked at some parts. I guess thats part of the charm, but it was a bit uncomfortable to sit some places.

Great selection of both draught and bottle beers. Cozy atmosphere inside, and the outside seating which is literally on the river is really nice on a sunny day. Decent selection of board games as well.

Ive lived in Trondheim twice and every time I visit I go to the Nabo to reminisce about old times and enjoy a beer or two (and they have a great selection). Its cosy both indoors and outdoors on the floating platform in the river.

The Reins Kloster section of the bar was really nice with impeccable service and a great warm atmosphere from the pink neon lights and fancy space age kegs and ontop of that the bartender Mike also brewed the beer. 10/10

Good place to relax with a great choice of different beers. The floating raft on Nidelven is a nice place to hang out and enjoy lazy summer evenings.

Same pub as before, revamped with similar but better decor. Still a good selection of beers, still a good place if you want a beer outside the city center.

Come for the atmosphere, stay for the beer. This place had an unusually large selection of beer before they closed down, and I hope they will return to that now that they have re-opened. Its still not small, though.They are situated on the lowest level of a quite old building - one down from street level - and the floors arent particularly level. Grab a bottle of beer and sit amongst the timber supports in the inner-most section, and youll feel like a sailor perpetually coming down from an ocean wave.

Newly reopened, so maybe not the best impression yet. Pretty much as it was, but nicer. The beer selection now was not the best, but should improve over the coming months I hope.

Excellent place to explore the diversity of beer. Its a popular place and tables are often reserved during weekends. I love the place more and more and will always come back to this place as long as i am in Trondheim. Its almost like a real viking like atmosphere with the location and the timber-built decor, awesome.
