Delvera Estate Stellenbosch - Restaurant in Noorder-Paarl, South Africa
If I could give a zero, I would.!!! Lost R41 000 on a Wedding Venue due to Covid and they wont refund!!!!
Beautiful setting ....would be first prize if the restaurant would open again
Place is closed. No signage. Website still up showing that theyre open for business on the day we visited. Cellphone number on the gate answered by a rude and unhelpful person. Waste of time.
Good place. There for MTB during lockdown. Adquate parking. Trail were very challengeing but not very well maintained. Some good viewing up on the trails. Take note this trial u pay to ride.
Was a nice morning, with a nice atmosphere and good service. Food was great.
Very beautiful outside under oak trees, good food
A hidden gem of relaxation. Do try the beerfrau beer. This is one of those places where the vibe is just excellent. Its not the fanciest or anything, it is the place where you go to relax, and stay just a couple of hours longer than what you had in mind. There is a playground for kids to hang around, some kittens, a huge braai for the evenings, and the best staff you can imagine. Even if you come here and recover from a long mountainbike tour (rental is on the property tooyou can just stay there in your outfit and do not feel looked at. We would advice to come here, and come here soon because it will get a lot more crowded over the coming years with this quality and vibe.
Excellent wedding or event venue.great value for money. Peaceful surroundings.lovely views. Great host...
Beautiful gardens, lovely views,very peaceful.
It was the best place ever, nice food and the best craft beers.... Best nature, feel like staying there 😀 thanks for a nice welcome
Such a dynamic wine farm that hosts the most amazing and adventures trail races in Stellenbosch. Always try do at least two every year. The staff is great, and the is a nice restuarant and sports shop with amazing views of the winelands
We had a stunning braai under the stars for new years! And the food was made with love!Hier kocht der Chef!Wie liked the rustic farm feel of the place. Like a braai ( Grillen!on our own farm in the old days....
While I did enjoy a lunch at the bistro, I was a little disappointed that the other businesses were closed over the weekends. Its otherwise a beautiful location
Very unpleasant visit...wait for order of food over 2 houers...orders incomplete...food and drinks out of stock...just not good experience!! My opinion...management up to scrach!! Also have to say the images on webpage definitely not true reflexion!
Rather eat somewhere else. Chai latte was super sweet. I asked them to change it and it was bland. Not really kids friendly and a distinct smoke smell inside the building. Not much to see here if youre looking for a place to eat. Nothing special about the food.
Best trails, and restaurant to have a coffee or lunch afterwards!
Stunning place to run or ride your bike. Nice cafe and a shop you can buy nice kit. Stunning views as well
Beautiful setting lovely outdoor seating. Garden are tranquil.
Not as much selection as there was before and a number of options out of stock at the time when we were there. A limited menu needs to have all options available before you can expect to get a good star rating. On the positive side meals in the garden are really great as far as atmosphere and setting go. Burgees were really good and the wine and beer options that we did choose from the available options were certainly good.
I love the harmonious restaurant. Its a haven for printed book lovers, those who still want to page and smell the paper.
Very nice and lots to do. Went there for a kiddies party and was amazed by the staff. Well done to the amazing staff members involved with Mika Delports 6th Birthday party.
Nice Sunday afternoon, with very nice food and wine. And dont forget to try the ice cream! We had a table in the gardens with a view over Table Mountain. I would recommend this place
What nice place and feels like dining in the forest...love it.
Not so good. A greasy plate of very dark, but not crispy at all chips with a not so great dry sausage wrapped in soggy pastry was served without even a slice of tomato. My husband ate it as he was very very hungry. . I ordered scones, but seeing that they had no cream , I opted for cake, and here comes the only good thing. The waiter advised me against it because he thought it was definitely to old to be good. With such lovely gardens all this place needs is a restaurant with better food so their nice waiter can start serving what he gets asked for
we stopped for brunch and enjoyed the atmosphere with the large windows/doors the allows the beautiful surroundings into the restaurant. The person on duty was friendly and helpful. The pizzas my husband and daughter had was delicious, although with a somewhat different base than the norm. More like a large tortilla of sorts. but still good! My Nachos was less so. The "corn chips" was none other than Chilli Doritos... and lots of it. The bottom of the plate (panwas just dry Doritos.Besides that, I will, however, recommend this restaurant, but maybe enquire first before ordering that particular dish.
Nice butter chicken with hot chocolate next to warm fire
Good food, situated on R44 very easy to find. GREAT wines, and view of table mountain. Great wedding venue and they Have mountain biking and mountain hiking. Good place, staff is friendly
The Wingerd Vine was very nice. The artisan ice cream and beer are all together. Food was great and came quick. The olive tastings are only open during the week (its Sunday). All in all love the place.
I attended one of their popular full moon hikes. It was well organised and the hike was incredible - way better than the Lions Head one. What a place to view the most beautiful sunset I have seen ... and the moonrise.
Great hike to the top of the "mountain" to see an amazing sunset, paired with the full moon rising.
Nice venue, was n bit windy so couldnt sit outside under the trees. Expected a bit more out of the play area for the kids. Was a bit quite so didnt experience any other activities. Will go back again.
Maybe I just caught them at a bad time as the food was cold and ill prepared. I know they were busy with a mountain bike racing event coming through their estate but that would have been reason to ramp up their brand. I gather more known for their outdoors activities than their food. Pity as its an opportunity lost.
Argus bicycle ride caused it to be very quiet at their Sunday festival. Despite this the band played all afternoon. Not many, but some beautiful crafts. Good foods, of different varieties, wine, cool drinks and on site brewed craft beer, very good. People very friendly. Great atmosphere. Great Sunday outing
Very nice setup with plenty parking and a beautiful garden. It is such a shame that there is a marked lack of service and care in this establishment. Nice clean restrooms and a bunch of activities. Might be that I just caught them on a unfortunate time. ( Band nightI will probably give them another shot at some time.
Single tracks need some creativity and maintenance.
Amazing venue. Was there with the Veteran traktor expo. The music, sound and markets was amazing!!
Was there for a trail run. Will definitely go back for a lunch experience. Pretty views, nice setting.
Yesterday (3 August 2018we went to a party for a 7 year old. The kids had great fun riding on the pedal go-carts (R50 p/hr p/p). Tables were laid out for the eats and drinks
One of the best venues for cycling and trail running, the views are breathtaking. Prepare to be challenged, the climbs can be tough and the terrain can be technical especially after rain. The home of Dirtopia, they offer a range of services at the venue as well as a restaurant, well worth a visit.
Great party venue... my kids really enjoyed it there.
Great MTB trail surrounding the venue. Great place for the whole family.
An extra ordinary out door joint to spend your well planned day... great garden , great food, great stuff, & the sushi was far out today...
Waited 2.5 hours for our Sushi ftom 12hpp till 14h30.Super ridiculous.
Went to watch live band. Great venue. Ample seating, decent sound and craft beer.
Great day out for the runners. Nice restaurant. Beer selection. Great place for families with kids.
If you are an active person and enjoy the outdoors Delvera is always a great place to go. Great hiking and MTB trails. Restaurant on site, wonderful micro brewery #Zebonkey , wine tastings etc. You can make it day at Delvera.
We always have a lovely time here. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The food is well priced and tastes wonderful. Kids can run around outside and play on the jungle gym. Truly a very underrated place
We ventured out to climb Klapmutskop on a hot day, it was a beautiful hike with stunning views. The only negative was that they were spraying the vineyards on that day. The free coffee that comes with the permit was delicious.
We went to Delvera for the Wine Walk to Warwick. The Estate has quite a lot to offer - hiked and cycling but there is also a beer brewery, kids play area (with peddle go karts), pottery place with beautiful ceramics and so much more. Previously we visited for breakfast - and this time round we did the walk and had lunch at the Dirtopia Cafe. Great place with loads of parking.
Great wedding venue. Relaxed picnic vibe with an awesome view.
