Really is worth the trip! They dont only offer dolphins as expected, they have a sealion in stock too! (and yes sealion not a sealIts a great experience and the view itself is amazing! Ill let you figure that one out when you get there. Best. Vacation. Ever.

Sea lion show was great. Dolfin show had no shade and staff was rude when we asked if we could sit in a place where there was a shadow.

Beautiful time spent with my family visiting Delfinario. Most of the group speaks spanish and only I dont. However, it was interactive and still informative. I wish there was english translation as it is a tour spot and many spoke English their. I would still give it a 5 star as it is about the experience. Thanks for accompanying my family to a great time and vocation.

We went to the Delfinario on a Saturday morning in January. I was disappointed that it was not better attended, because it is a really fun place for families and animal lovers! There were maybe 25 people at the place while we were there. Maybe if billboards were placed at the exits of Highway 15, it would get more notice?Price of admission is 180 pesos for adults; very cheap compared to Sea World (etcin the U.S.. For additional cost, you can get personal dolphin encounters, and photos with dolphins or sea lions. There is a dolphin show, a sea lion show & interaction, viewing areas for these animals, and a fin whale skeleton; plus a small snack bar. Combined with a day at the beach, this would be a memorable experience for any family!From reading about it, I understand that the Delfinario does therapy for kids with various developmental disabilities during the week, and is open to the public on weekends.The animals looked healthy and happy. The caretakers/trainers seem very engaged. We especially enjoyed Maria, who is shown here with Ulises the Sea lion.Enjoyed our experience; and would like to see them add a few more features, such as a tank with regional fish, and a touch tank with tidal creatures, so kids could learn more about the wonderful Sea of Cortez.

I loved Delfinario Sonora! The up close experience with Dolphins and sea wolves are a little pricey, but its well worth it.My only unsavory comment is that if you buy the up close experiences, you cannot take pictures. A photographer takes pictures of you during the session and then sells them to you *digital copies only* for $10USD a piece, but other than that pleasant experience and breathtaking views!

Way to expensive for the Dolphin experience. $1800+ pesos per person and the experience is like 1 hour. There is nothing to do other than to see the sea lion and a Dolphin. We opted better to get on a Yate $1600 an hour for the whole family (up to 10 peopleand you see the dolphins, fish, its pretty cool and worth it.

We went there on Friday at 9am. After 30 minutes, there was a line of cars to get in and finally learned it was closed even though the website listed it as open. Supposedly, they were still open on Saturdays but only for tours and pictures, no swimming with the dolphins.

It is an awesome show that includes a dolphin and a sea lion show for the same price. The trainers do activities for the audience to interact with the dolphins and sea lions. The place has a beautiful view to the gulf .. recommended!

The show was great! We had several in our group who also did the interaction with dolphins. They swam with them a lot and even got pushed around the pool by their feet. What an amazing encounter with these beautiful creatures! And at a much more affordable price than in the states. They allowed the rest of us to watch and take pictures and videos.

I thought that place was totally awesome I take the kids there again the next time Im down there in San Carlos it is very very good

We had a nice time at the Delfinario. We did a swimming with dolphin experience. I have to say. The initial experience not so great. You have to set an appointment. We got there on time. However we had to wait almost an hour for the ticket booth lady. After that it was great. The instructors were amazing. Super friendly and very knowledgeable. They also gave us some great information of the area and places to go. They have some photographer taking pictures while your kids interact with the dolphins. Not very professional quality and too pricey if you ask me. The addition ticket includes a sea lion show. Over all I recommend the place.

Sea lions and dolphin shows were great. Family had a lot of fun. Dolphin experience was sooo worth it. Kids cannot wait to come back next year.

These people did well with their resources. The surrounding area isnt as touristy and Americanized as other coastal parts of Mexico so it seems like it would be hard to sustain a dolphin and sea lion show, but it was very good and worth doing if ever in San Carlos with children. Theyre pretty funny too.

This was such an amazing place. You may get the wrong impression that its a huge venue but they actually only have two attractions sea lions and dolphins. Both shows are amazing to watch the trainers absolutely know what theyre doing the animals do not seem stressed and the families watching cant take their eyes off the show. Im so glad I found this place its literally a hole in the wall Aquarium but I will gladly be back every year.

The shows are fun but other than that, there is nothing else to do there. Overall not worth the money.

You pay for only 2 shows but totally worth it. Fun,funny and great.

I love this place and am so glad the dolphins are back. The sea lion show has been remodeled and is fully shades. Definitely a great bang for your buck. The shows are in Spanish and very entertaining.

We watched the dolphin show and then watched the seals perform in another area of the park. The grounds are beautiful, the scenery is spectacular, and the animals looked healthy and happy.

I have not yet been inside of the Delfinario. However, I was there in March of 2017 when there was much construction going on. They said they were opening in April of 2017.I am posting this in May of 2017. I recently saw confirmation that they have re-opened.I plan on visiting at the end of the month and will post more info at that time.
