Beware if you have a peanut allergy!! They make their pasta with peanut oil. This is not noted on the menu, nor was it mentioned by the waiter. Very dangerous and surprising for what appears to be an upscale restaurant. I would ask every question under the sun before eating their food. Its unheard of to cook a pasta primavera in peanut oil. The flavor was so off, I knew immediately there was a problem. Thank God there was a hospital 5 blocks away. Whod think to ask do you cook pasta in peanut oil? Only the Asians cook noodles in peanut oil. Very disappointed. Not even a manager came by to inquire about whether my daughter would be ok, or if they could assist us. We were tourists-not very familiar with the area!!!! Ill never give this place my business.

Had a great Gourmet dinner with very nice wine here, the staff is friendly and attentive, we were a big group and everyone was happy, we had a nice experience here

Nice and fancy restaurant with antique clock as decoration recommended by our host. Food and cocktails were nicely made and delicious.

Very classy, fine dining. White tablecloths, great food (I had the Langosta habanera). Good service and very reasonable price. Definitely recommend.

We were taken to this restaurant for lunch by our friend Carlos who lives in Havana. We were glad he did. It is very clean and has air conditioning. The food was some of the best we had while in Cuba. Definitely go here if you are visiting Havana. The service was great and the bathrooms are clean too!!

Charming place not far from the Melia Cohiba. The service is wonderful and compliment to the chef for for the lovely Duck which we had in two different occasion.

My last trip to Havana was shorter than expected, and thats my only excuse for not getting back to Decameron. If youre staying at the Riviera or the Melia Cohiba, its a short walk to a great meal, and if youre staying anywhere else, youre just one crazy Havana cab ride from a dinner to remember--for the right reasons! The dining room is cozy, and the ambience is friendly and charming. The staff are excellent. And the food is fantastic! Daring, cliche-free choices next to the ropa vieja you were expecting--which is also excellent--and seafood thats worth whatever it took for you to get to la Habana in the first place. If any of the Cuban restaurants in New York were half this good, Im not sure Id leave home; but as it is: Decameron, te extraño!
