Strandweg 150-154, 2586 JW Den Haag, Netherlands, Den Haag
Recreational pier with enclosed & open-air decks, offering a casual restaurant & bungee jumping.
Very cool pier! Comes with expensive prices for everything of course though.
Nice walk though I wouldn’t recommend going on the ferris wheel on a windy day… quite scary😬 A part from that, beautiful view and lots of little shops and bars inside the pier.
Even without going on it its still worth just by the view it gives, especially at night its beautiful. Inside the cabins, the windows are not that clean so you cant see that clearly through them but its still an enjoyable ride.
This is such a really cute place! I enjoyed passing a day there, theres a lot of activities available and some good restaurants
Its a nice place to hang out and have a snack. I like the restaurant at the end of the pier with small kids corner and reasonable prices of food.
It is a nice place to spend an evening when we went the wheel was not operating, it has a very nice view of sea from the top
Beautiful experience!! The beach and the view is spectacular. The area had full beachy vibes with so many restaurants, food joints and trucks. The SkyView wheel is worth it to look at the endless sea, waves, boats and weather. There are so many games inside the pier and shopping areas open till 7-8pm which is unlike the Netherlands.
Great views. Unfortunately every time I go there the weather isn’t good and most restaurants and shops there are closed (that’s why the 4 stars, I could imagine at night and with good weather this is a total 5 star vibe)
Beautiful place. Very beautiful. gorgeous look. Those who love beautiful places and the sea should definitely visit here. A lot of restaurants and places for entertainment.
I have no idea to explain this place. It’s california vibes but better because when you look across you see the windmills on the north sea. They provise various attractions on the pier including bungee jumping, zipline, ferris wheel, vr coaster and many more.On the pier there are many bars that you can sit and have a drink.I went there during the lunch time so most of the places were not open yet. My recommendation would be for you to grab some drinks and sit on the beach. You can see hot surfers 🏄♂️
Place is great, some restaurants and shops inside. Good views.
Nice beach. Lot of options to explore. For adventure lovers there is bungee jumping and some other activities. Kids can enjoy playing with the sand as well as waves. Many restaurants and shopping options are there. Overall ambience in the evening is also very good.
If you are looking for a nice place to be... Then its a must. You have a variety of shops and restaurants, souvenirs and many more, you can choose to be a bit crowded, (proof of being already top ratedor you can go around the big fancy and surprisingly nice wheel, and youll find yourself in a quiet and beautiful landscape. If you have a good eyesight i promise you can see the curvature of the earth... Soft sand, and by far obviously, the sunset... One of the best I could see, waves and surf!!?!So yes... Go on.P.S. is actually so nice that even the local people come to.
Stunning place. Although the beach is super crowded, especially during the summer, its worth visiting it. Water is green and a little bit dirty, but when you go further in the sea you can notice that the color of the water changes.
Amazing pier of the Hague. A visit in the summer is very recommendable and worthwhile. The pier has many shops, food booths , souvenir stands and contains a mall with toilets and showers. There’s a Ferris wheel , bungee jump and zip-lines for adrenaline junkies! All in all a very family friendly , fun space for a day out.
Perfect place to visit around sunset. Really nice Ferris wheel inside the sea water. Beautiful view of the beach with its bars and restaurants on one side and sunset deep in the sea on the other side. A must visit if you are in Haag. It was not crowded on a weekday at the time of sunset.
You like running bicycling swimming or just chilling? Got you this is the perfect place to do it all and have quality moments full of memories to remember. Eat drink make your shopping and leave full of energy and relax from everyday stress. I definitely recommend that place go and you will thank me later :-)
Cant understand why such a beautiful beach has been transformed in such a way. Tall apartment buildings next to the sea and places selling below average food and drinks. Not recommended.
Located right in the Pier next to the Ferris-wheel. Nice selection of menu options, and drinks. Friendly and efficient staff. We enjoyed our time there.
Thank God there is no entry fee to walk on De Pier. You can choose different rides if you want to do some adventure or just enjoy the walk with amazing view. There are sofas and some sitting areas so if you are tired and wants to sit and relax thats the best option.
A special beach section. Many bars and restaurants and a good atmosphere. The pier does not look very nice from the outside, I think that makes the relaxed beach ambience somewhat broken.
Like most piers that have survived since their Victorian heydays, this one is tattered and suffers from delayed maintenance. However, on a sunny summers day, the vibe is still fun, and maybe even a hit if you are into ziplining, bungeejumping, and Ferris wheels. Good views are free and complimentary, as is admission.
Didnt go on the pier but looks well used. You can do bungy jumping and huge zip line as well as a pod big wheel. Open 365 days a year. Free entry
A very cool place and a tourist destination. Has some souvenir shops and a bunch of places to eat and there is a public WC. The second (openfloor has places where you can enjoy a drink. Also the views are of course breathtaking.
Great clean beach. Too crowded due to weekend and excellent weather.
Wonderful views of the city and if you are crazy enough, you can take a fast ride down the cable car. The whole area is excellent to spend an afternoon; there are several restaurants around, souvenirs shops and a lovely beach with huge strand of sand.
Every one of a hundred thousand cities around the world had its own special sunset, and it was worth going there, just once, if only to see the sun go down.
A family fun place over looking the sea , Ferries wheel available, amazing bungees jumping andWater Surfing .in door & out door restaurants available.Highly recommended. Enjoy. NK
This place is a must visit to get a beautiful view of the beach and the sea. Also really peaceful to watch the sunset. Can also try the Ferris wheel at sunset. Must visit
Was fun! many fun places. A lot of people but still fun to go. Many restaurants and activities. You should come here
this place is worth everything.Beautiful area with loads of attractions, good souvenir shops and a very friendly atmosphere! Been here for the second time and enjoyed it even more than my first visit.Lovely place to go.
Nice promenade. Upper/outside floor is a bit damaged and needs maintenance. View is beautiful and in the end of promenade you can go for Zipline (40€or Bungee jumping(150€). Skyview wheel also looked interesting.Inside floor is full of small shops/buffets/other and most important there is WC. Necessary to know if you like to cool down with beer. xD Go and see yourself.
We came on Sunday and it was really crowded but even tho it was crowded we didnt wait too long. You have offers to buy drinks or to even eat in a cabin which is really cool. View from cabin is amazing. When we came it was still day but after when night fall it was really beautiful too 🤩We came by a car and we were there for 3 hours and parking wasnt that expensive as we thought it will be. If i remember correctly we paid it cca 12 euros. They also lot of restaurants in hall to the pier.
Cool place to visit, but most things are closed or barely open or seem to be broken etc.we enjoyed coffee on top and the view was amazing.
Big pier in The Hague beach. Nice walk to enjoy the view and few attractions. Bungee jumping, zipline and a ferris wheel. Few bars and food stoods but nothing special, I suggest going to the beachs places instead. In the indoor area there are some shopping places, for beachwear and more. Not really a must-go.
Super beautiful place in The Hague. It has an infinite amount of attractions around and you can even go on a zip line from the end of the pier to the shore!
Always my favorite place to go since I was a kid! Recently restored and fully functional with several attractions such as the wheel and bungee jumping or reel yourself down the peer skyhigh!
Awesome place to hang around… they have bungee to zip line and even an eye wheel !Book online or just get tickets from there it’s an awesome experience when you visit The Hague… they have good restaurants by the the shore, quick bite stall and even souvenir shops ! Comes quite in handy ! Very easy to access by public transport as well
A lot of nice café and restaurants. We chose Italian food (pizza. Was perfect, delicious and we didnt wait long.
A nice place to visit when in The Hague. It can be easily reached by tram 🚋 from the central station (15 min.). There are multiple shops and restaurants both in the pier and on the rooftop. You can enjoy a nice view of both the sea and the beach. I recommend a visit here! 😊🌊
Amazing place!!! A must see if you are in The Hague. The view and the ambience is mesmerizing.
Near De Pier is a beautiful place in any weather. There is long beach with boulevard behind where you can find a lot of bars and restaurants, Legoland, casino, beach shops and fast foods. Inside De Pier is also couple shops and fast food bars. Unfortunately a lot of them was closed. Maybe because is no season on Valentine Day. Whan we come on reception it was empty but than come some man and I was surprised that he just fast look to my passport and print QR code on paper. Than he took us to our apartment which was nice but not so clean. I think that the owner dont put a lot of money to this building(but minibar is for free). After his introducing we find on QR code paper a date of stay. There was one night stay intead of two. So we get back on reception and find that he was just some facility service guy. Real man on reception fix our stay on two nights. When I was looking for apartment on De Pier first thing what I went was terrace and I found pearl tube on picture. So a make booking for a more expensive room with this tube. When we come there was normal bath. So maybe this facility guy give us different apartment. But nobody knows.
Lovely atmosphere and incredibly busy even in February. Packed with a few bars and food stalls. Great views.
This is really a nice place to stroll, eat or snack, meet friends or have a drink. You have a lower deck with lots of stands, bars eateries, plublic restrooms. Then you can access the open air upper deck with a fantastic view of the sea and beach. Such an amazing close to Den Haag. Epic.
The Hague beach is really really nice. But it is only preferred in Summer season. In Winter, it is too cold to spend quality time. Many restaurants are available for foody people.
I totally recommend it. Doesnt matter how the weather iw, there is always people here. The beaches are really wide and the view is amazing. Parking here might be difficult and it costs around 4€ per hour. We were here for one night and stay2at hotel Corel. It is situated max. 10min away from the beach by foot. We payed only 60€ so we could afford paying another 30€ for the parking. Normally you dont find hotels this cheap. Also you have to include another 10€ city tax.
Chilly this part of October, and quite windy. Had some fun in the ferris wheel, watching people bungee, eating churros, and watching some guy get attacked by gulls for his churros 🤣🙊Do not feed the birds... they are greedy, and they will take what they want.
The pier has a lot of food options and cute stores to buy tourist souvenirs. It can be quite busy but it’s still a very nice place to see and walk around in. The top pier views of the beach and sea are great.
One of my favourite spots in den Haag! I will never get tired of the view and the many options you have regarding food and activities as well. Definitely a must if it’s your first time in the city, the views are just breathtaking!
Amazing place to be with friends. A lot of options to eat and drink, and buy, and admire the beach. Try the churro with nutela entering the pier. And if you want to pee, you must have an one euro coin to enter the toilet! Or go to the shopping, and you can pay by card.
